In twenty years of owning various animals, I have never experienced greater veterinary care than I have with Dr. Maggs and the team and Linley Valley. I can't speak enough good things about the level of care my dog received as well as above-and-beyond compassion and support before, during, and after her recent surgery. The team is ALWAYS smiling and friendly and willing to help. They ease your nerves while taking the time to educate and offer extra help and assistance.

My dog was in rough shape when we went to them for help. We had been to two vets and several hundred dollars. She's much better and they did not gouge us. In fact, they made suggestions that saved us another trip. Muskwa is healing nicely at home now ????

Shout out to Dr. Maggs and her team! Our little man Todd has alot of life left in him!! After finding a growth on his head, Dr. Maggs and her team acted quickly and got it removed. The surgery went very well and Dr. Maggs even called during the procedure to let me know what was happening. The team followed up with me and answered all of my question throughout the process. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Maggs at Linley Valley Vet Clinic!!! Thank you so so much for taking excellent care of our little Todd!

We had an emergency with our cat Finn and I knew that wait times at the emergency vet were long so I tried phoning the first vet I saw on the internet which was Linley Valley Vet. They got him in within an hour! And good thing because he had a urinary blockage which could have been fatal. Everyone at Linley Valley Vet has been amazing!! Amazing follow up and checking in on him to make sure he is doing alright. We couldn't have had a better experience! Thank you so much for making this difficult time sensitive health issue as easy as it possibly could be.

Called this morning to book an appointment for my son’s chihuahua to see the vet. The person that answered the call was clearly irritated by me, I was unable to answer her questions as fast as she needed me to. I apologized for my half second delayed response, yet she still sounded angry and didn’t actually ask questions, she demanded the answers repeating herself. I was really uncomfortable with this person and way I was spoken to. We have moved on to another vet- one that is kind and willing to be personable. Thus said, I cannot recommend Linley Valley Vet clinic to anyone.

They are really nice and good but I personally find them a bit pricey. But they helped me out when I could not get into my own vet and I am very thankful for that. So, if you don't have a regular vet go check them out.

Not sure about the service as I only took someone there. I know that they were professional in the way they treated me. The person I took there claims they are awesome. I found them to very quick and seemed very efficient in the treatment they gave to the pet. If I were to ever need a vet I would try this place first

I just moved to Nanaimo and had to look for a vet for my cat, Lazarus. Dr. Drinnan was very helpful with finding a medication best for my cat's needs. I also had assitance from Dr. Maggs when my cat developed sneezing. Each time both veterinarians gave us thorough information on options, red-flags to watch out for and really cared for my cat. I felt very informed and appreciate all of their help! Very nice staff that work there, as well. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely experience here. I also wanted to give a shout out to one of the receptionists, I believe her name is Sarah. I called TEN different vets to try to get my cat in on short notice, and not only was Linley Valley the only one able to do it, Sarah was SO nice every time I called. When someone is stressed and worried about their pet, kindness on the other end of the phone can make all the difference - thank you Sarah.

We brought our cat in who had an upset stomach, Dr. Drinnan was super helpful and attentive and you can tell she truly cares about your pets well-being. The front line staff was helpful and kind as well. The pricing was also very fair. An overall great experience and our cat is on the mend thanks to Linley valley Vet clinic. Will be returning for further veterinary care.
