Great staff! My cat hates vets and bites them but she LOVES Dr. Patel! She purrs for him and doesn't want to leave. I walk her on a leash and on the way out I have to pick her up because she actually doesn't want to leave even after shots.

When we adopted our first dog we were only living in Angus for about 5 months, after a search for local vets I picked this one and figured if I didn't like it there was another option....The staff here are so wonderful and kind and compassionate about the animals that we never looked back! We recently adopted our second dog and she had a lot of health issues to figure out and she's in perfect health now, and they were so excited about her progress they couldn't help but come out to tell us how impressed and happy they were and how great she is now. The team there gave us options and opinions, but you don't feel like you're being spoken down to or like they're talking over your head. Really just a great team all around and I look forward to taking my two girls there because I know they're in the best hands.

(Translated) We understand perfectly that with the covid that it is only by appointment and that there are restrictions etc ... but not to return calls especially when it has been several days that we try to call for make an appointment for our animal, no answer, that we leave messages and that we have no feedback? Really not impressed. (Original) On comprend parfaitement qu'avec le covid que ce n'est que par rendez-vous et qu'il y a des restrictions etc... mais de ne pas retourner les appels surtout quand ça fait plusieurs jours qu'on essais de téléphoner pour prendre rendez-vous pour notre animal, aucune réponse, qu'on laisse des messages et qu'on a aucun retour? Vraiment pas impressionné.

Some things just work out in life and this place is one of them, you don't have much convenience past food in Angus but I gotta say, taking 2 minutes to drive my kitten to the vet for multiple shots and getting back home all in 20 minutes or less feels amazing. My kitten isnt afraid of Dr.Patel and he's a great veterinarian. He provides all the information we would ever need and asks us if we have any more questions before he lets us leave. I'm hoping he will still be working at this location for a long time because I dont want anyone else taking care of Mack. *Edit* Well my review seems funny now considering he retired about a week after I wrote it. However we did continue going here and had our male neutered, we had him home within a few hours. The vet and staff loved Mack and did an excellent job with the surgery. Hes healthy, happy, hungry and playful.

Dr. Patel and the rest of the staff at Mill St Animal Clinic are angels in disguise. They are compassionate, helpful & knowledgable. The care and attention they give to their patients goes above and beyond. They make sure you know what your options are without pushing you into anything, and they respect your choices as a pet owner. When my fur babies are in Dr.Patel's hands, I have 100% faith he does all he can for them. I recommend Mill Street Animal Clinic to anyone and everyone who has a pet.

The best vet in Angus period, totally caring and professional and very clean place. The person who said the floors are dirty obviously has her head up her a*s because everyone else in our town raves about this place. You ask online where to go and 9/10 instantly say see Dr. Patel. He's taken emergency calls and even called back to see how our dog was doing out of the blue which was unneeded but extremely appreciated. You bring your pet there your getting a professional place with a personal touch and that's what ppl should want for their furry family members.

I have taken my two dogs Yogi and Josie, for the last 2 years. I had Dr. Patel as my vet. He was so friendly and funny. Since he retired and Dr. Rogers took over, I was a little hesitant. But when I took Yogi and Josie in for their yearly check up, Dr. Rogers made me feel comfortable and was able for me to understand everything that was happening that I could easily understand. Fantastic place to go and the staff have been amazing! Plus the dogs love doing across the street for ice cream when they are good. ☺️

You will never find a more caring, compassionate Vet for your pets. He goes above and beyond all expectations. Over the years he has saved the lives of two of our dogs. He came to the office in the middle of the night to help my chihuahua when she was in labor. He treats all of his patients the same way that we treat them, and knows that they are important parts of our families. I would not trust my pets to anyone else.

Dr. Patel was amazing with my pets, & & helpful when it came to making payments, giving discounts (knowing that I take care of my pets but can't afford as much as other's). He's also given my friends discounts because they have rescued & spay/neutered & rehomed over 75 cat's/kittens, & they take excellent care of all their pets, personal or fosters. But the new vet's recommend such expensive procedures, & must be seen (which includes a costly exam fee) before being perscribed a medication she's had before for the same symptoms she's had many times before & when I called in (as I have in the past with Dr Patel) for a medication knowing that it has always been the one perscribed for the symptoms she has had many times before...shes 10 years old, why change what works? I called in for the prescription because I know it works for these symptoms, & can't afford the extra exam cost at this time. Last time I had her in they did bloodwork after the doctor spent so much time blabbing on & on about what it could be, & what expensive tests could help, or how much each could help...I couldn't think & was so worried by then I chose the blood work cause at least it could help in her future vet care, but they found nothing wrong, & her symptoms (different than these) went away after a couple days, but the bill was over $360 & in the end nothing was really wrong, nothing perscribed except watch & wait to see what happens... I had to borrow from my friends & pay them back over several months... & Now I find out from another friend they have a "new pet fee"!!!! What the heck is that??? We'd been with Dr Patel for over 10 years, my friends for over 13 years & over 90 pets brought to him in that time... never had a "new pet fee for a single one of them! I'm moving vets, they're just Money???? Hungry ????!

Dr Patal’s love and care he has showed my fur baby is unprecedented to the point that whether a concern is big or small he will not hesitate in the slightest to help out. This is by far one of toby’s favourite spots to go. To the point that if we drive by he goes crazy and wants us to stop by and if we do he will drag us to the front door if we don’t move fast enough. We can’t even mention Dr. Patel‘s name otherwise Toby goes crazy and wants to see him. If you live in the area or even far and are looking for a great Dr. for your furry friends I can’t say it enough, take to drive and visit Dr. Patel, from my experience You will not be disappointed.

Congratulations DR ROGERS and DR VANDERLINDE on your new clinic! Dr Rogers has been our vet since she graduated, first for our Angel Rottie and our 2 retired greyhounds. For those of you that do no know her.... this is what I have experienced... During this time of COVID (and not), you will find Dr Rogers on the floor cuddling your pets giving them best scritches ever while thoroughly looking them over. She will give you the facts and options as required, she will not try to sell you what you do not need or require. What she does not know, she will find out and will be honest about it. I have followed Dr. Rogers as a client as she has advanced her career in two different clinics, and am so very happy that she will not be relocating again! L0L

I've been fetching my dog to the Mill Street Animal Clinic for many years. Dr. Patel is such a lovely man, who doesn't charge exorbitant fees for his service. Neither the staff nor Dr.Patel try to upsell you on unnecessary treatments or products. He treats the problem, gives great advice and will make suggestions, only when needed. It's a bit of a drive for me, now that I have moved, but I won't go anywhere else. Doctor Patel has RETIRED and we are so happy for him. It's sad for us though. :(

Too bad Patel's gone Call in for revolution for my dog and got told that since there's new owners they want to at least see your dog once before they give you the medication I buy it by the box or 2 so I haven't had to go there for a while and now they want me to pay for a checkup to be able to get the same medication I've been getting for years

If I could give this a 10 star I would. My dog was injured by my other dog. I called so many vets including my own to help me. His eye was injured badly and needed help right away. 7 vets turned me down because they where closing in 45 min. I call this man and he took my dog right away no questions asked. Bubba hates the vet and Loves this gentle man. I highly recommend this man. He will soon be all 5 of my dogs vet now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my boy when no ones else would.
