On a Saturday I discovered my dogs were in need of some de-worming. Only one of them had previously visited the Drayton clinic. Note that the Listowel hospital takes over for Drayton on the weekends. The front desk staff were super nice and all I had to do was bring the 2nd dog in for a weigh-in to get the meds dispensed for both. Being able to get this addressed all in one day, and conveniently on the weekend, with no wait at the vet whatsoever, was spectacular. It's worth to note that the Listowel location is a really nice, large, clean establishment...and dogs get treats.

We brought our foster dog here while visiting family in the area after he exhibited signs of gastrointestinal distress. The staff were very kind and efficient and had our sweet boy in and out in about 45 minutes and had him much happier leaving than when he went in. We received antibiotics and probiotics and our vet at home has been briefed on all the details. A wonderful experience, all things considered

Very good Veterinary Clinic with friendly, helpful staff. My cats receive excellent care. Had to take one star away though because wait times to get appointments are very long; 4 months right now for any routine exams and vaccines. Make sure you book well in advance. Obviously emergencies are still dealt with right away.

I've been bringing our dogs to Heartland for several years. I've gone to both the Mount Forest & Listowel locations. The staff is always friendly, compassionate and professional. It's been a huge benefit for our busy family that Heartland has hours on Saturdays as we've needed to be seen on an urgent basis more than once during off hours!! Unfortunately we had an emergency this past Saturday afternoon. Thankfully Dr. Kim at the Listowel clinic was able to see us right away. She helped us through Iggy's last moments and made sure he wasn't in any pain as he passed. I highly recommend Heartland.

If I could give this place a 0..I would. I thought you are in the business of helping animals? My 11 month old pup was having complications from a surgery that was done at a clinic over an hour away. I was told to contact heartland 24 hour urgent care should we run into any issues. My dog was bleeding out and dying. I called them as I was instructed and was told they couldn’t help me because my dog isn’t a patient of theirs. Ummm....my dog is dying and you aren’t going to do anything to save her life? Correct me if I’m wrong, isn’t that why you went into the business? I ended up calling Mildmay vet and was sent to Hanover, she was sent in for emergency surgery and survived..no thanks to Heartland. I should hope that no one has to go through dealing with them in such a desperate situation.

I see my review was deleted! Don't have your pets cremated with these people! After 10 years of great Service, I lost my baby at 19 years old asked for her to be cremated with a few extras! The result was they couldn't get the remains back from their source therefore I refused to pay until I got to see proof that she was cremated! Never saw proof, they put my account in collections. 3 debt collectors later they still can't provide proof of their claim or the remains of my 19 year old cat. Scum company to pull a move like that! Debt agents are actually disgusted with their operations, that's why they can't use the same one every time
