If you love your pets and want the best, this is the place to be. I got my 2 male bunnies neutered from here and this was the best experience I had. Everything went sooo smoothly . The surgery went well. Charges were the most reasonable than any other vet in my vicinity( Toronto). The clinic is well maintained, staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend .

I am an existing client for the past 10 years or so, but havent been in awile as I have 2 new kittens and wanted to arrange an appointment for their first 3 shots. I called numrtous times, nobody ever answers the phone, so I emailed back and forth over a week span and I finally gave up. How difficult is it to pick up the phone and call a client whose requested to arrange an appointment for over a week? Emails just dont work. Very very poor service. I sent them a final email saying if nobody calls me to arrange an appointment after one week of failed attempts I will find another vet. I got a final reply saying "thumbs up". I have since found another vet.

The customer service was exceptional - I was given information about what to expect after the surgery (standard) but was also given some advice to make sure my pup was kept safe from licking herself. She’s off the gown now, and has grown so much. If you need your surgery done, come to Claremont for a safe and professional experience.

Went in here with my girlfriend after her cat was having issues with his bladder Anne urinating blood. After we called a few emergency vets over the weekend that immediately said they need to do surgery for 3500$ or he'll die Claremont just told us to bring him in for an assessment. Claremont squeezed us in between other appointments and after diagnosing kidney stones they prescribed us special cat food to help break everything down. It was definitely worth the 30 minute drive for their amazing service. The cat pictures was not the one seen, she was just there for the drive, however she didn't mind waiting for the quick service.

Recently I noticed my cat having urinary issues and they tested urine and got back to me within a few hours and even though they are closed tomorrow they’ve got me set up to pick up the needed meds and food to get my guy back on track. Edit: Had to bring my cat here again today. Michelle is more than an excellent vet. Michelle truly cares about the animals. She discussed what happened, how to resolve it, and greatly helped us out. I honestly would never go to another vet unless it was after hours and my cat was dying. If my cat could manage until the next day, I'd wait and bring it to her. Truly one of the best. Michelle is an excellent vet. Can be a bit busy at time but she looks into your pets care.

Love this clinic. The doctor is very caring and sensitive to the well being of your pets. They may specialise in large breed animals, they they're very knowledgeable with smaller breeds as well. Had my dog neutered/microchipped there three years ago, and they were awesome. I dropped him off at 9 am and by 11:30 am he was done. They were also fairly inexpensive. Some places I looked into were going to cost double what this Vet did. Very thorough and educated.

First time going was to have my dog neutered and my dog didn't flinch going in (he always did with our previous vet) and has healed up so much quicker than my other dog (took a long time, done at a different clinic). They were super helpful and knowledgeable. Gave me alot of instruction on the after care and if I ran into any problems they would be there to help. Amazing staff!

We have been taking our cat to Claremont Vets for all of our cats needs over 11 years as you just get that sense of trust knowing that they will take care of your pet as you expect. I had taken our cat to a vet in the Markham area and maybe it was that clinic but all l got was a sense that they really didn't know what they were taking about and just wanted to charge you some ridiculous price. Although the location is not close to where we live it is worth the drive. Michele and her team are great and was recommend by the breeder we got our cat from them.

Reasonable prices, however, the vet does not take the time with the pets. It is a “get in, get out fast” operation. I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for my last appointment, upon which the uninformative appointment lasted approximately five minutes. The vet nor the staff apologized or acknowledged how long my wait was despite my comment after nearly an hour.

We've had a number of dealings with Claremont Veterinary Services over the last 10 years, and as usual they are "top notch" in our books. Very accommodating to the animals they care for, and thier owners as well. They provide great care and aftercare to all of thier clientele. Any and all questions the clients may have are answered without hesitation, and very informative. The office may be a little out of the way, but it's well worth the drive!

Our cat Bo recently was spayed and proved to be a difficult patient to say the least. She did not take to the surgical shirt for aftercare and when we attempted a cone she violently thrashed about and herniated her surgery site which Michelle fixed up.The clinic was so accommodating and concerned about our little girl. Prices are very reasonable! The phone number they have dedicated to after hours communication (via texting) regarding your pet is such a fantastic service and I truly can't thank you all enough for having this available. The turnaround time for answering messages is wonderful as well. Michelle was so wonderful she met me after the clinic was closed as she was concerned for the well being of our pet. She was very professional and went above and beyond by leaps and bounds. I highly recommend Claremont Veterinary Services. Thank you so much to Michelle and the team!

Horrible vet, horrible staff, not trained. What are you guys doing on a visit, twiddling your fingers? Honestly switched up to vet in Uxbridge, way better than them like they couldn’t diagnosis my dog if their lives depended on it. From the bottom of my heart, I highly suggest switching vets. Paid for first visits and mentioned they were healthy and gave no form of explanation in regards to their health. My pups are missing testicles which this vet couldnt notice… do u want this as your vet of a loved family member?

Dr. Travers is one of the most caring and genuine vets out there; she really puts the health of your animal first before anything. We sadly had to make the hard decision to put our cat down a couple of days ago and Dr. Travers was very empathetic and explained everything in simple terms for us to understand. She was so patient and timely with her emails (I had sent a lot!) and she really made me feel at ease leaving my kitty there with her, I knew he was in good hands. Dr. Michele Travers was very cold and clinical; her staff wasn't much better. Our 12 week old puppy needed her shots. We had to wait to long and then the vet barely even looked at the pup. The prices were reasonable, but I want my pets experience to be as positive as possible. The vets interests seem to be in farm animals and not dogs/cats. My impression is that the small animals just subsidize the practice. I also didn't like that the vet pushed and tried to upsell us, not a good first impression at all. We won't be returning and I would NOT recommend this vet.

Been going to this vet since getting our puppy last October. So far so good. Due to covid protocols,we have never been inside. Every pet gets transfered to a vet tech via a partially open door and same upon pickup. We truly look forward to one day actually meeting the vet when covid hopefully ends.

We were referred here by the person we bought our dog from. Even though we live in Whitby, it's worth the drive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The quality of care is good and the costs are reasonable. We have also heard from the breeder that their costs for medical procedures and surgeries are among the lowest in the area. Hopefully we won't need to find that out for ourselves but it's good to know if it's necessary.

Highly recommend Dr Travers and her team at Claremont Vet Clinic. Unfortunately, we had to put our 13yr old dog down, and with it being Covid, Dr Travers gave us the option to sit out back in the grass and have it down there. Amazing- never heard of anyone else doing this. For such a sad day, she made it that much more memorable and comfortable, both for us and my dog. Not to mention very fair pricing. We will continue their services, even though a 30min drive away. Well done!

We had our sweet girl Rylee put to rest here. This clinic is very professional and has wonderful staff. They all really care about animals and their work shows that. They know how special our pets are to us and treat them like their own. We got Rylee cremated and the company that provided this service for us was also wonderful. Her urn is beautiful and their personal touches and letter was very heartfelt. It is nice to feel comfort knowing Rylee was treated so gentle and kind in her passing. Extremely disappointed. Our 15 year old cat was in distress and we knew it was time as we did not want her to suffer. I went into the clinic early in the morning and asked if I could bring her in later that the day to be put to sleep. Without any further inquiry, I was advised that they were totally booked up and that the earliest appointment was a week and a half away. This despite the fact that both our cat and our dog were patients of this clinic. There was no consultation with the doctor, just a straight NO we cannot help you. Fortunately we did find another clinic in Uxbridge who was very understanding and compassionate and was able to take us that day. Needless to say, I will never take one of my pet's to Claremont Vet erinary again.

I had my puppy neutered here recently and everything went well. A friend of mine recommended Dr.Michele Travers, giving her a very strong recommendation. She took good care of my baby and the neuter surgery went well. This clinic is very reasonably priced however as a first time dog owner, I was a little worried about my baby and I wanted the vet or the clinic to walk me through the process of how the surgery is done. When i emailed the vet to address my concerns, i did not get a clear explanation or any reassurance. However, Dr.Travers informed me she's had years of experience and because my friend had such great things to say about Dr.Travers, I decided to put my trust in her and she did not disappoint. After picking up my pup, she gave me his meds and sent me on my way. Pros: - reasonably priced - very quick service - aftercare instructions are sent in an email and instructions are very clear Cons: - no one answers their phone, must connect with them via email - because of the quick service and the clinic is extremely busy, I don't feel as if I got to speak to Dr.Travers in person and got to know her and her staff. It was an in and out service. Nevertheless, I will be returning here to get my kitten spayed as well. Thank you Dr.Travers

Careless and dishonest, would not recommend! 1) I called to get a quote to neuter my 2 year old chihuahua and was advised 250$, that included the new patient exam fee. In the end I had to pay, my bill was 340$: Neuter <25lbs 282.50 + new patient exam fee 28.25 + meds, Gabapentin 30mg 13.15 + a cone 16.84 2) when I left to pick up my chihuahua THEY handed me a bottle of meds for my dog. Provided no instructions and just said in case he needs. Drove home (45mins away). 1 hour and a half after I got home, they EMAILED me saying I forgot to take my dog's meds, not even a courtesy phone call. They handed me someone else's dog's meds @ Gabapentin 300mg, which would have been fatal if i had given it to him. All they mentioned was, you can pick it up in the lockbox if you need the meds. Unprofessional and irresponsible! Do not put the faith of your dogs in their hands!

I neutered my three kittens from here. From the very beginning they were super helpful and responsive. Very fair and upfront about pricing. My kittens got their vaccines from claremont too. After surgery, a lady employee briefed me very well, and all employees I talked were professional with positive attitude. The whole process was very stress-free and smooth. I dropped my kitten off in the morning and picked them up few hours later. They are doing very well after the surgery. ???? I didn't even need to give them any extra take home pain medication. This veterinary service is half an hour drive from my place, but I am very happy that I took my kittens to them. Thank you Claremont Veterinary Services!
