Took my cat in for her annual check up and vaccinations. The vet was very professional and knowledgeable. I wish I remembered her name, all I remember is she had an eeyore tattoo on one of her arms. My cat wouldn't come out of her carrier, so the vet did her check up with the cat in the carrier. Once she warmed up she came out of the carrier. After the vaccination my cat crawled up into the vets arms. I have never seen my cat do that with someone she doesn't know, I was very surprised. Overall I am very happy with my visit to Moose Jaw animal clinic.

I would like to ask any dog owner if they know of their animals getting sick at the “perfect” time. My beautiful old lab was brought in with welcome arms and dealt with as I assume they would every animal in his shape. Once we were told what was wrong, we were also met with an enormous bill. Which is also expected. However. When we offer the last cent out of our bank account to choose out animals life over any other human function for the coming week. We are still turned away and told if our animal is alive on payday to bring them back. This is a vicious and disturbing outcome from what are supposed to be the people to care for your animal in their most dire time or need. It’s nice to know that money is the only thing that greases the wheels of our pathetic animal health care system. I hope the vets at this location learn the absolutely horrid feeling of not being able to save your best friend because of the lack of heart of their doctor.

My dog recently broke his foot, and the service he received was extremely poor. It seems almost none of the staff know how to treat a wounded, scared animal. The vet would not listen to me when I explained my dogs needs - nor did he seem to care. The price was not at all reasonable considering how poorly my dog has been treated. I will no longer be bringing him to this clinic, nor will I ever recommend it.

We take all of our pets to this vet location. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. One of our dogs is really nervous and anxious around people and they work with us to bring him in through an alternate entrance and when they know there won't be many people around. The vet also worked one on one with him until he was comfortable enough with her to do his shots.

I find it very ridiuclous that its been over 6months will no exotic vet replacement. Not everyone unfortunatley has immediate access to a vehicle to take a trip to Regina. My gecko needs almost immediate medical attention and non of the vets will examine her. She just needs something removed from her eye!!

I have always attended Moose Jaw Animal Clinic with several cats and my daughter's animals over the years. This is the first time I was truly disappointed. They have always gone above and beyond but it was bare bones service this time. When getting results on a test, my cat was constantly called a "she" when he is a male. As it was a possible urinary problem it's pretty difficult to mistake a male for a female and the file would show that "he" was neutered at the clinic. In the past, other issues or 'incidentals' such as his weight would be mentioned as he is a Munchkin-dwarf sized kitty. He has been doing double-duty as a therapy kitty in my mother-in-law's care home and as a consequence has gained a little weight. But no mention was made. The clinic has always been an up-beat and very friendly place but there was a surprising difference that day.

My first visit to the clinic was on a Saturday. Despite how busy the staff were I didn't feel rushed nor did I feel my cat's care was compromised. My cat was neutered 3 weeks later and had no post operative complications. I will be bringing him back for future care.

Moose jaw animal clinic does a great job and has great staff that care for your pet as much as you do. My rabbit wasnt feeling very well so they got him in as soon as they could and did what they had to do to keep him going. Unfortunately a little while later he passed away, and so I received in the mail a sympathy letter signed by each one of their staff. I've never written a reveiw before but I felt they really they really deserved it.

The staff are extremely thorough in relating care, costs, and conditions that may or may not arise during any procedures they have to perform. They take time to get to know each and every animal that comes to the clinic. The staff are all very positive and the clinic has a lively energetic atmosphere. The care for my animal was good,the lack of proper communication between staff and owner was horrendous. My cat was prescribed meds for a two week period, they sent us home with enough meds for 1 week. I called let them know their mistake. I then have to drive back to town to pick up the missed prescription(at my cost). Moving forward we go to open the second bottle and it’s a bottle of powder. At this point I am extremely annoyed as I don’t live in town. I called down, they explain to me that they didn’t mix the meds because they don’t have a long shelf life(understandable), but, where was the communication of that from the get go? They offered to have the owner call me, the lady I spoke to said he’d get back to me TODAY. Moving forward I call them back, and a different lady told me the owner would not get back to me for a few weeks. Overall I am not impressed with the service. We as pet owners already pay an arm and leg to maintain the care of these animals. I understand everyone makes mistakes, but this was two mistakes, a few miscommunication, and there should be some kind of compensation for the inconveniences that were caused.

took my dog in to get spade, up to date on her shots, blood sample to get her thyroid levels checked and chipped. after the surgery i noticed it look infected and said something i was told i was wrong, took her home to only take her back after the long weekend where they said she had infection so she had to stay there for a week.. they also neglected to put the blood sample in the fridge twice. spending $200 on a test and then forgetting to put sample in fridge and making the dog go threw blood work multiple times was rediculious

I understand this may seem like a weird review to do as we were there to sadly put down one of our dogs. I feel it is important though as this is a tough time for people when this has to happen. The last thing you need is a horrible experience at the vet to go along with this tough time. That being said our time at this veterinarian clinic was very professional with no selling us on expensive treatments that would do nothing in the end. The staff was very honest and confirmed our beliefs and did not make us feel like bad people by not putting the dog through all these tests to just confirm what we all knew. They allowed us as much time before and after to spend with the dog which greatly helped my wife. A sad day was made better by the compassion the staff showed. I would highly recommend them for their knowledge and professionalism. Thank you from our family and you will be out veterinarian to go to from now on.

I have always appreciated this clinic. I haven't taken an animal to Bellamy before so I can't compare the two, however, I can say that I recently had a check up here with my pomeranian (January 2021). My dog is not comfortable around other people at all but Mr. Jansen did an excellent job with his efforts towards relaxing and calming my precious pooch. The vet (Mr. Jansen) was very thorough and took his time explaining the process and answering all my questions with detail. I can put my mind more at ease knowing he will take care of my furry family member when/if needed.

Moose Jaw Animal Clinic likely (90%chance) killed our 10 month old puppy. We only took her in to get spayed and she died a day later. She died in our home and the clinic did nothing besides withhold information and BS their way out of it even after the autopsy results proved so. I have heard so many bad things about this clinic since and I am so surprised to see so many good reviews. I do not reccomend this clinic to anyone. Despite all of the good reviews, if something goes wrong, they will not compensate in anyway whatsoever. We didn't even get a phone call after she died. It took over a month to get any response regarding her death until we made an appt to discuss it with the vet who performed the procedure, who seemed to have prepared her best sad face to discuss the situation with us. We are left completely helpless and heartbroken from the unnecessary loss of our beloved Mika.

Tony’s treatment and care were phenomenal. The veterinarian had profound knowledge and authentic concern for our Tony’s wellbeing and gladly shared his knowledge with us in order to improve Tony’s quality of life as a senior dog. The single item that could contribute to making the experience better would be to offer a cost breakdown of additional treatments such as dye for the eye (which I don’t think was necessary) to show the abscess, and also someone should inform us on the price for the drops that were needed for his treatment. While his care was certainly better than any doctor I have gone to human to human-it’s unfortunate that dog treatments are so expensive. I will certainly refer the clinic to others and will definitely be back with Tony, he’s in experienced hands and good care at the Moose Jaw Animal Clinic. Thank you.
