This Veterinarian is included in the category of Veterinarian.
The friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever seen in a vet clinic! It's always stressful bringing my reactive dog in for check ups but Dr Meryl works with both of us to ensure we are comfortable and we'll cared for
Dr. Noah is a veterinarian that truly cares about animals. No other vet I have ever seen will sit on the floor with an animal or do smooches with a pet. He is my furbabies new vet.
I've had bad Vet experiences in the past and this is hands down the best I've ever had. Dr. Nicki was so gentle and informative.
Staff were all very friendly, listened to what I had to say and made me feel respected, and offered a number of different ways to handle a very anxious dog.
Dr. Banks is the bomb.
I am here to post a 5 star rating in protest of the ridiculous 1 star review written below after reading Dr. Noah’s story regarding the REAL events that took place. God bless.
Can't say enough good things about the entire staff here!
A vet that that truly cares. I wish I could find a human doctor half as compassionate. He answered questions I had within hours on his day off and called me personally to check up on my pets. Honestly if he treats all his patients like this then I'm not sure when he finds time for his own life.
This is the best veterinary clinic ever. Dr.Noah, Dr. Banks, And Rita(groomer) are so wonderful, they are attentive, polite and loving. You will not be disappointed.
Doc Noah saved my Dog's life when he was in Madison, and my Old Boy Lou made it to a ripe old age of 16 at 150 pounds, so when I moved to Milwaukee and got my Pup Maisie, I knew Doc Noah would be our vet for life. Doc is a real mensch in the truest way; he loves your animal, and guess what? He loves you too! Love ya Doc!
Had to put our loyal dog down yesterday and Dr. Noah was nice enough to come to our house. He is very caring and understanding which helped tremendously during such a tough loss! Thanks to Dr. Noah and his staff!
Great people, Great Vet.
Dr Noah was great
They were wonderful with my old dog!
I like to think that all vets love animals, but Dr. Noah takes his love to a new level. He sits on the floor and waits for my dogs to be ready. He explains EVERYTHING, and goes through costs and options so well. Hooray for him for getting his dream of his own clinic!
It's such a wonderful experience from start to finish! It's easy to tell that all the animals really like Dr. Noah. And with complimentary coffee, the waiting area is very comfortable too. 5 out of 5!
The wellness of the animals over profit is the motivation. Of course every business has to make a profit but Noah has a very caring balance within the game of capitalism and wellness
Dr Noah is the best vet you can ask for. His kindness and compassion is top notch, that goes for both pets and humans. ❤️
What can I even say to describe how awesome Dr. Noah really is?? My pup Sadie is a rescue and has had multiple bad vet experiences in her life so far. One even said to get rid of her due to “baggage”. I was so scared when Sadie got this current issue, and knew I needed a vet that could help with fearful dogs. Enter Dr. Noah’s Ark ~ Well, the MOMENT I walked in, I was greeted nicely and helped. The vet tech was amazing and Sadie did get scared, but she was able to calm her down right away, which is impressive. When Dr. Noah came in he layed on the floor and talked very calmly, actually wanted to know about us and her. Then, HE SANG A SONG FOR HER!❤️ I was in shock that a vet would do that and care so much. By the end of the song Sadie was hugging him and he was able to give 2 shots to my pup. Not only did he calm her down but me as well, as I was very nervous before. THANK YOU isn’t enough!! 100/10 recommending to everyone ????
Dr. Noah Arnold is an awesome vet and our pup loves going to see him (how many dogs can say that?!). He is truly concerned about the well-being of all his patients and answers any questions their owners may have too. We are excited that Dr. Arnold has had the opportunity to follow his dreams to open this wonderful clinic, and we are more than willing to drive the extra miles to continue to have him care for our fur-baby.
We've only been in for one exam and Dr. Noah already has us hooked. He was so kind and gentle with our oldest cat, Reese. She fell in love with him and they really hit it off. I'm certain Dr. Noah will do great things for our community as he takes care of our pets/family. :-)
Phenomenal vet with a heart of gold. Dr. Noah is truly all about the animals and understands that they are family members and treats them that waY. Dr. Noah will do anything for his patients, will do anything to help children understand what is happening with their beloved pets, and is always studying and learning. We love Dr Noah and so do our 4-legged family members
The vet clinic was very welcoming and understanding considering I had a very sick cat. I felt listened to and cared for and would highly recommend this vet clinic.
This is the best vet by far that we have ever taken our dogs to. Dr Noah and the other vets and technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell that they all love pets and want to give the best service they can.
After seeing Leesha’s review, I also wanted to share our experience at Noah’s Ark. We recognized the place was pricey, but thought with that would come exceptional care. We took our puppy to be spayed in August 2020. She healed well, but in February we couldn’t understand why she was bleeding. I did some research and it looked exactly like she was in heat. I am not a vet or medical professional, so when I was told several times by our vet that her symptoms were not consistent with heat, I believed her. Proceed to 2 weeks of stress as we took our pup in for multiple tests and exams and put her on a variety of medicines. One of these medicines actually made her ill, which had us extremely worried since she wouldn’t eat and was very lethargic. It soon became unclear whether we were dealing with symptoms or side effects. While we waited for a hormone panel to confirm whether she was in heat, our vet carried on with increasingly improbable causes of her bleeding and kept recommending different medicines to try. All the while it seems more and more likely to us that our dog is in fact in heat and we’re spending money on meds that might just make our dog sick. When the hormone panel came back, it confirmed that she was in fact in heat. So then it was concluded that she had Ovarian Remnant Syndrome, where a bit of ovary is left behind during a spay and triggers heat. OK, we get it, things happen.. but now we have to go to a vet hospital who can do exploratory surgery to find the remnant. After our dogs second surgery (at Lakeshore Animal Hospital in Glendale, who did a phenomenal job) we got a call from the vet who did the surgery. She said she went in where the original spay incision was, and the ovaries were still intact in their normal spot. Our dog didn’t have a second pair of ovaries or anything like that - they just had never been removed in the first place. I will give Noahs Ark credit for how they handled things from there - we were totally comped for the vet bills, meds and second surgery.
Dr. Noah is an amazing vet. Huge building accommodates for exams, surgeries, etc. No parking issues at all.
Did a great job trimming my difficult cats nails!
Best care and best veterinarians
Dr. Noah's Ark Vet. Clinic is the "Best!" Dr. Noah, Nicki, Becky, Amber and the entire staff we've met are truly exceptional in the care they provide to us as a family and our Oscar!
Great and caring veterinary services. Dr. Noah treats all the animals like they were his own.
There are plenty of vet offices closer to my house but I drive all the way to Dr. Noah's Ark because the doctors and staff are the best in Milwaukee! They are so kind and patient with my animals and give the best advice. They care most about doing what is best for the animals, not recommending a bunch of unneeded services. Dr. Becky Banks is the best vet I've ever had. She helped my old boy have a great quality of life for the last 2 years before he passed away. Her dedication to his wellbeing is something I will cherish forever.
Dr. Noah is compassionate and I know how much he loves all his clients and their people. Fabulous addition to the community.
I had a great experience here with my very nervous dog. He is usually very tense, shakey and grumbly at the vets office. And he was here initially too but he did relax and calm down enough to lay down, which he never ever does. Dr. Banks and the tech were very compassionate towards him and made us both feel comfortable. The building is very nice. I loved that the lobby was so big and spacious so I didnt have to worry about ushering my dog passed a bunch of people and dogs all jammed into a little area. The room we were taken to was nothing like the typical exam room. It had comfy chairs and a couch and a nice big window which I think helped his anxiety a lot. Dr. Banks gave him one of the most thorough exams he's ever had in his life. She spent at least half an hour going over things with me and addressed all of my concerns and questions. I was really blown away by this place. I understand vet care is very expensive so I never complain about price no matter where I go. Things cost what they cost and honestly I've been to enough clinics over the last decade to know that pricing is pretty much the same from one place to another. The difference is the value. The "cheapest" clinic I've been to was also the worst in terms of value. So far this place seems like solid gold. For the exceptional care we recieved from Dr. Banks, the exam price was a steal. The rest of the bill was for pricey bloodwork that I wanted and was prepared to pay for but had I not been I'm certain Dr. Banks would have helped me decide which tests would be most helpful. And she wouldn't have made me feel like a bad dog mom for having to pick and choose. I've finally found a vet I can rely on for compassionate, attentive care and my only regret is I didnt find Dr. Noah's Ark sooner!
Dr Becky is the best! We travel across the country for work now but we still make sure we find our way back to Noah's Ark and Dr Becky because we know they love our pet!
Dr Noah is great! We were there 2 weeks ago with our dog, and 2 days later - feeling great!!! Thank you Dr.Noah
In the middle of lay offs due to Co-Vid19 my kitty got DEATHLY sick and needed emergency surgery. I was being quoted upwards of $2600 everywhere and she had days before she would die. Dr. Noah saw a post on Facebook of my begging for help and immediately told me to bring her in the following day, on his day off, to do the surgery for free and save her life. If it weren't for him and his amazing staff id be without my baby right now. She's happy. Healthy. Back to her usual rambunctious self and Dr. Noah was so kind and reassuring every step of the way I cried with relief when i handed her over to him. I'll never take my babies anywhere else ever again. Thank you Dr. Noah and all your brilliant staff, you guys saved my birthday and my 2020
This guys is amazing! He makes you and the Pet feel at ease right away. Always explains everything in detail. Check put his Facebook page!
Dr. Noah is the most genuine, caring vet I've ever met. A true animal lover through and through. He gives love and respect to every animal he sees!
Simply the kindest and most caring person I've ever seen work in the field of health, human or animal. If you want someone who cares about your pet and it's owner, Dr. Noah is your vet.
Always great. And adapting to 2020 better than most businesses.
Dr. Noah's Ark is one of those rare businesses that has put all of the right pieces in place. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, showing a clear attention to detail. Facilities and equipment all appear to be in excellent shape. Staff is kind, knowledgeable, swift, and competent. And, obviously of great importance, Dr. Noah is an absolute delight.
First visit there and Dr Becky sat on the floor and cuddled my nervous cat. Very friendly staff.
Dr. Noah and the team really did an amazing job with two of my cats (Dede and Burly). They were all so kind, respectful and did an amazing job on all their work!
Dr. Noah and his staff are the best I've ever experienced with multiple pets. Great people with fabulous service, I can't recommend him enough!
Noah is the best vet in the business. Passionate about what he's doing, always looking for ways to expand his knowledge, and always makes you feel like you and your pet are his only patients. When my dog was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease, Noah went above and beyond by calling specialist in different states and doing research in his off time to make sure we were doing everything we could for my dog. She outlived her prognosis by nearly two years! Noah was born to be a vet. You should definitely trust the health of your pets with him and his clinic.
The best there is! Love these guys!
Dr Noah and Dr Nikki are both amazing. They are loving and sweet with my dogs and clear and straightforward with me, always explaining every medication or procedure, helping me make decisions that are the right balance of good pet care and financial responsibility. I’m so grateful to these vets!!!
We love Dr. Noah and his staff, they are all very knowledgeable and obviously have a passion for all their patients.
The Ark has been my go to vet clinic for the past few years. My dog has had the best of care at the ark. The clinic works like a well oiled machine! My last few visits were with Dr Nicki who is wonderful; she really cares and gives it her all. I highly recommend this clinic.
Probably the most caring vet in the area. You can see why they are expanding. Prices are reasonable, no pressure to get services you dont want.
Dr. Noah Arnold is fantastic with pets and people!
Dr. Noah is absolutely the best vet we have ever dealt with. He and his staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough and able to be at ease with you and your pet through every situation. We will follow him wherever he hangs his shingle because there are no alternatives in our minds.
Very friendly
He saved my cats life. I woke up on my birthday to blood all over and gizmo my cat had a swollen bloody butt/ back leg!( he must have gotten in a fight with my other cat) I got a hold of Dr. Noah and he got us in right away! He's kind and understanding and is one of those veterinarian's that you can tell truly love animals. He treated gizmo like his own and he treated me like we'd been friends for years!! my pets will be going to him from now on!!
I received an email that my cat is due for a routine check-up with a fecal sample. When I called to schedule an appointment I was told the vet my cat was previously seeing is no longer at the practice but he can see Dr. Noah for a yearly fee of $5,000- this feels outrageously expensive for a healthy young cat that likely won't see the vet for more than his yearly check up. Very disappointing.
On a hike in ESTABROOK PARK and discovered this gem of a vet, Dr. Noah. A few weeks later, we stepped on a stick that got stuck in my dogs paw. We called Dr. NOAK'S ARK and they were able to fit us into their morning schedule. Such a pawsitive experience with the staff and Dr. Noah we will be sure to return. It will be so nice to have a vet within walking distance. Our community is so blessed to have a vet here and one that has owner experience with Husky's and Malamutes. If you have a northern breed, you know how hard it is to find a vet with that knowledge and experience.
(Translated) Much noise from pets (Original) Mucho ruido de los pets
All of the staff are truly enthusiastic about working with animals and it is always a pleasure to visit. My dog isn’t a huge fan of strange people or places, but she does well in their welcoming environment.
It was decent. I'll take my pooch again they took great care of him.
Great service for my dog, he eas the last one and everybody was taking care of him
Great friendly service, employees and doctors are knowledgeable.
Dr. Noah goes ABOVE & BEYOND to find the best solution for your pet and your family. He's amazingly patient and truly cares...not to mention, his new space is beautifully crafted.
Dr Noah is the best vet we've ever had. From the moment you meet him it becomes very obvious that he cares so much about every single animal and makes you and your pet feel like the most important appt of the day. Not only does he care, but he knows what he's talking about and will spend the time to make sure you understand the best treatment options for your pet.
Dr. Noah and his team are the most genuine, caring people in the industry. I called him probably nine times this past week about my ill cat, and every time he ended the conversation with "I'm here for you." I'm one of those pet parents who tends to do my own research to better understand my pet's health, and Dr. Noah actually took my Internet findings into serious consideration, then added his own expertise to the mix. He never made me feel like an idiot for trying to learn about my pet's health. Every other doctor I went to at various emergency clinics completely disregarded my thoughts and made me feel like a jerk for even attempting to be involved in my pet's health. Also, Dr. Noah and his staff immediately comforted me when I started to cry; one tech appeared with tissues and another with bottled water. Seriously, how much more compassionate can you get? I never want to give my money to anyone else when it comes to my pet's health. Thank you for everything you do!
The staff is always very friendly and informative. Our little guys and girls always feel comfortable around everyone when they need to go in to see the vet.
Dr. Noah is the kindest, funniest, most authentically awesome vet I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! He helped me through a very scary time with my sick kitty - giving me the truth, but in the most compassionate way possible, while also offering hope and comfort - and even took the time to answer my mother's questions about her kitties - even though my mom lives 2000 miles away from him! His knowledge is top-notch, but his care and compassion for his patients (and their families) is really what sets him apart. Run all your furry, feathered, and scaly friends to this beyond-amazing vet (and human being!) right now!!
Our dog is a hot mess at the vet and we've only been successful with in home vets until now. All the staff are amazing with her, totally unphased by her spazzy behavior. We're super grateful to have found them. We've had fantastic experiences with both Dr Noah and Dr Nicki. They are as knowledgeable as they are kind. And yes, Dr Noah will actually play the guitar for your pet.
After a terrible experience elsewhere we got compassionate, thorough, reasonably priced care for my dog. We’ll be back!
I followed Dr. Noah from his last practice! My 2 dogs were spoiled by Dr. Noah's kisses and true love for them-as a result they aren't so nervous. If needed to calm or entertain be prepared to be sung to! Very convenient location with warm staff and surroundings!
Dr. Noah does amazing work. He laid on the ground with our dog to help her get familiar with him. He answered all of the questions we had (like 10) and never seemed like he was rushed to move on to the next patient. He broke down all of the pricing for our visit on his white board so there were no secrets. He even helped provide trifexis even though he prefers another option.
Dr. Noah cares for animals like no other veterinarian I've ever met. The office is warm and inviting, and beautiful. The staff is wonderful. The attention to detail, and care and consideration for pets is like no other. I used to hate going to the vet, and so did my dogs, but since we've transitioned to Dr. Noah's Ark we no longer feel that way.
Dr. Noah's Ark recently decided to change its operation in the name of, supposedly, taking fewer patients but offering better care (for instance, appointments are now going to be scheduled for 2 hour slots. Who would need or want to spend 2 hours at the vet is another question entirely...). Ironically, they have instead managed to accomplish the exact opposite. In accordance with this shake-up only 2 of the 4 vets are still with the clinic. And, if your pet was (by mere chance) previously seen by one of the vets who left the practice, the clinic cut you off immediately as a patient without notice or, candidly, compassion. My dog has persistent allergies / ear infections and needs regular treatment / medication. I was shocked when I called the clinic in need of medical treatment for my dog and they refused to treat her even one last time. I would have understood if it was a routine check-up without a specific medical issue requiring attention. But that was not the case--my dog had an actual need for immediate medical care, and they flat out turned a cold shoulder without care or concern. This place is backwards. Run.
You will never find a vet who loves your pet just as much as you do. He sits with them, plays with them, sings to them and treats them as his own. For those true animal lovers...he is our Modern Day American version of James Herriot.
A vet that knows the prices of their services is a hard find. On top of that plays the guitar. Love the environment, people seem really cool. Damn good vet joint.
great staff, great care!
My puppy loves Dr. Noah. The staff is awesome and I have never had a problem getting in to see him. I love that the costs are right there spelled out for you. There are white boards in each room and Dr. Noah does a line item for you. I never feel like I’m overpaying or wonder what I just paid for.
Dr. Noah is one of the best vets ever. He treats you with kindness, humor and best of all your pet will leave with a kiss and not afraid to come back.
By far the best looking and caring vet clinic. The staff are well trained and Dr. Noah is exactly how reviews explain him to be, very caring and informative. Took my puppy there because she was having problems with defecating. They were double booked but fitted me in the same day I called. Thank you so much!
Me and my new rescue dog Rue came in for our first visit at Dr Noah's and it was the best experience I have ever had at a vet clinic. The staff was all extremly kind and it was very obvious that they all care deeply and have passion for what they do. Dr Becky is so wonderful as was the entire staff that helped during my visit. I highly recommend that you go and experinece for yourself, for you and your pets sake. Sincerely, Mitchell and Rue
Dr. Noah is very knowledgeable and caring. He has taken care of both of my dogs since he moved back to the Milwaukee area.
I didn't get to meet Dr. Noah becasue we just popped in for a nail trim but his staff were warm and friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Welcome to Shorewood!
Going to the vet can be scary. How much will this cost? Are they being honest? Is my puppy just another number? Going to the Ark, all of these questions were gone the moment you step inside. Amazingly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff makes you feel comfortable. I am amazed how professional and kind every single person is here at the Ark.
Dr. Noah is the most genuine and caring vet you'll ever meet. He wears his heart on his sleeve and truly treats everyone who walks in the door like family. The clinic is beautiful and has the most calming atmosphere! It makes a trip to the vet which can be a stressful time for your pets (and you) a totally different experience. I recommend everyone Dr. Noah's Ark vet clinic to everyone I know!
Dr. Noah is seriously one of the nicest, coolest, most real dudes I've ever met.
Our doggos love coming to see Dr. Noah. My dog always greets Dr.Noah with plenty of licks and hugs. He’s always willing to get us in wherever we need to and truly feel like a family.
Dr. Noah Rocks!
love this whole team, only place i've brought my puppy since bringing him home in 2018. Dr Noah and his staff are amazing with your pet and reasonable/ helpful with tests / services that you may not actually need.
Great staff, very friendly!
My animals became immortal
Rebecca Banks is a top notch vet. Very nice facilities.
You know the question "if you won the lottery, what would you do?"? The answer is supposed to lead to your dream job. Dr. Noah is doing his dream job - I don't think he won the lottery, yet he figured out what he loves and his passion for animals is evident. This transcends down to the entire staff he has hired, they are all wonderful to work with, and no matter what, you're in good hands. As a first time pet owner, I scoured Yelp to find a good veterinarian for my chocolate lab puppy. Dr. Noah's Arc was highly recommended and I couldn't be more pleased with the way they do business. Throughout my first year owning a puppy there were many times my anxiety peaked about something he ate, something he is doing, etc. They do such an excellent job of providing solid next steps and/or ensuring me my dog is well cared for. I would recommend this business to EVERYONE. Keep up the good work!
DO NOT go here. This place not only overcharges, but they’re highly manipulative and will never admit wrong. The owner thinks that he’s untouchable because he sings to dogs and brags about his good deeds, but he’s extremely narcissistic and gaslighting to any customer that has an issue. He especially takes advantage of anyone with empathy and will threaten you if you call him out (which I’m prepared to take.) Please do not walk, but run away and never turn back. This guy shouldn’t even be in business.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Noah and his team! He treats the animals as if they were his own, and he communicates with the pet owners in a way that is informative and calming. I know that Piper is in the very best hands when she's in Dr. Noah's care. It is truly unique to find someone who is as skilled in his practice as Dr. Noah, but also genuinely cares about his patients and their families.
I wouldn't take my furry kids to any other vet. Dr Noah is the best. He is so caring and kind, you almost wish you were a pet! That sounds weird but true! If I didn't have a houseful of furry friends, I would get one just so he could be cared for by Dr Noah!
We have known Noah and his family ever since our seven-year-old Labrador Retriever was a pup and had her first visit to the vet. Noah is the gentlest & kindest vet we've ever known. His dog Bella is a sweetie, too--shown here when we hosted the visit of a member of the Ecuadorian Tsachila Nation.
I have heard great things about Dr. Noah Arnold's clinic! I am only here, quite frankly, for the anal gland offer (for our dog Chewy of course ????)! But... the next time I am in Wisconsin and need... I mean Chewy needs his anal glands expressed, we will totally find you and take you up on your offer!!!!
It comes to me as no surprise that all of the 60 ratings done before mine are a 5 out of 5 stars. Dr. Noah is simply the best. His genuine enthusiasm and compassion for our dog makes us feel so comfortable with him. We really feel like we are at home anytime we have to bring in our pup, and would recommend him to anyone!
Priceless care.
The only vets I will ever go to!! My dog has been seeing both Dr. Noah and Dr. Nikki since he was a pup for the past 2 years and they are more than trustworthy with your fur babies! They are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help you in any way with prices, such as having you pick up medication at an animal pharmacy for a lower rate. They are also very straight forward with their pricing so there are no surprises. The facility is immaculate and much fancier than my own doctors office! Also if you get a chance, have Dr. Noah play his guitar and sing a song to sooth your pet. The vets and techs are beyond friendly and willing to lay on the floor with your pets to help with any anxiety they may have. A very well put together business!
The passion and pure love that Dr. Noah has for all animals he takes care of is amazing. He is honest, caring and explains everything to you in terms you can understand. He even takes the time to explain to my 9 yr old son so he is informed and understands what is happening with his dog. Look no further. Dr. Noah and his staff are the only Vet you need!
Oh my goodness. I've never experienced a vet visit like this. It was great! My cats didn't even realize they went to the vet! Stephanie and Dr. Nicki took their time with the cats and me. They listened and my cats were not even one bit put off (as cats typically are) when I let them out of their crates when we got home. The price is high - but comparable to the area. Again, unbeatable customer service and care!
Very compassionate staff and excellent care.
Great doctor! Very friendly and personable.. This was our first visit with our newly adopted dog. We live 30 mins away & was well worth the drive!!
Dr. Becky is the best. She has been taking care of our four cats for years. We truly appreciate her genuine concern for the needs of our family. Highly recommend
Best Vet ever!
Great vet!
I love this clinic! Dr Becky Banks takes the best care of my animals. I would not trust them to anyone else! Been seeing her for years now
We hands down recommend Dr. Noah’s Ark to anyone in need of care for their furballs. We’ve been seeing Dr Becky for years for all 4 of our fur babies and could not wish for a better person to have their best interest at heart. We’ve only seen Dr. Noah once, but it was for a rather precarious tumor surgery on our 13 y/o 8lb floof of an orange cat - he was a miracle worker! Every person whether at reception or a tech we’ve been in contact with at the clinic whether on the phone or in person is friendly, patient, caring and understanding. (Special shout out to Erica D who can handle the hardest to handle cat like nobody I’ve seen). A phenomenal clinic with the best pet juju a person could hope for. More than 5 stars - we love you all!
Dr.Noah is the best he is so wonderful with my dog fred when he left the clinic where we saw him i was lost for words but threw f.b. found him .He may be a little farther away but totally worth it the love he has for animals well what can i say you just have to go to his clinic and see for yourself.
I had brought my 2 dogs in for there Annual check up and vaccines which cost me $700 which included heartworm. A few days after my visit one of my dogs had a large lump at the injection site I called with concern and brought the dog in they spent 10 minutes with him and then charged me $125 I feel this place is out to get all the money they can !! I didn’t expect anything for free but $125 for 10 minutes ..,doctor Becky is lovely but I will go somewhere else in the future
Doctor Noah is amazing! He's very caring and gentle with our furry babies. I've reached out to him multiple times to ask questions and he's always responded quickly and with very helpful information. I wish my personal doctor was as great!
Dr. Noah is the consummate blend of caring/compassionate and knowledgeable/professional. He will always find time to see your pet, listen to your concerns, and provide the best medical and holistic advice and treatment. His office facilities are both clean and soothing, and his staff will welcome you warmly and give you their full attention. I believe you will find everything you want in veterinary service here.
Wonderful staff who truly care about your pet!!!
Dr. Noah is one of a kind! He's extraordinarily empathetic and is truly doing what he loves. He is very open and real with you about treatment options, as well he is 100% transparent about pricing. All of the staff members are very kind and accommodating. He easily could've chosen to be a comedian or a vet, and our pet family is glad he chose the latter!
Our dog was the patient of Dr. Noah since 2016 Just recently on our last appointment we have been charged $ 45 for "light check up" that has been done outside the clinic and it was technically just scratching behind her ears At that point I realized that prices went up tremendously and we been charged for something that we haven't been getting But the main thing that made me to decide to change vet (specifically Dr Noah) was his idea that he presented to me personally that "we should get rid and we will soon of all Trump's supporters and Republican freaks" Dr. Noah before making the statement obviously didn't know about my party preference and I don't think its proper for the veterinarian to hurt somebody feelings. I would like to address this issue on different account Our all pets getting the same care if their owners a members of different political party ? I think its a serious issue. We left the clinic and I d like other people be aware about his approach
We are new to the area and this clinic was selected due to its walkable location. I have stopped into purchase products a few times and the staff has been consistently helpful and friendly. Facility is new and very nice. Dr. Noah’s pet side manner is sweet, kind and gentle-which is what I expect from any good vet. However, what I didn’t care for was my overall vet/patient experience...After hearing about the doctors accomplishments, history and family- I was presented with a treatment list and costs of products and services on a white board which included several expensive private label products. It felt very “up sell” and product focused vs. discussions about our individual pets history and health. I’m positive that we were immediately forgotten as soon as our appointment was over and that we won’t be missed. Not the feeling I want to experience after spending an hour of my time and almost $300.
Best vets in WI. A place where they actually care about your pet. Dr. Becky is wonderful.
Dr. Noah's care and expertise was exceptional. I am switching our previous Vet. over to Dr. Noah, because of his updated diagnostic equipment and his love and professionalism for his love for aninals....
Best vet yet!
Not much to say about this place
Dr. Noah as taken care of our dog since birth. Excellent care, pleasant people, imaculate facilities, great diagnostics.
They are good at what they do, kind, they work with you, they truely care...... They are AWESOME! I could go on and on about how AMAZING they are. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I may be a bit partial.. being Dr Noah and all.. But I love it here : ) The clinic is the culmination of a lifetime of dreaming. It is more a home than a hospital and everyone who walks through the door is family. There is a good chance that I'm madly in love with your pet and I will do everything I know how to make this the best experience you've ever had at the vet. Sending lots of love.
This man truly has a gift when working with animals (and humans alike!). He cared for my poodle who had diabetes and went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and that my fur baby was well taken care of. When it was time for my puppy to pass Dr. Noah and I had a long and heartfelt discussion on what to do, and he came to our home and helped the puppy pass in the comfort of his own home, on his bed, surrounded by his comforts and toys. He treated my dog with the utmost love and respect, and even in death gave my beloved dog all the love and nurturing care he could (and was beyond respectful of me and my emotions - I was also pregnant when it happened). Although I dont have any pets at the moment, I will without a doubt go back to Dr. Noah when we do get another. Simply put, he is the absolute best!!!!
Amazing ! I had to bring in two cats for unexpected visits this week. Dr. Noah and his staff were so kind and friendly and everyone just made the experience amazing. Not only very knowledgeable but they love what they do and it shows !
Such an amazing staff! Plus Dr Noah is the best!
Love doctor noah he so enthusiastic & intelligent
Dr. Noah and his entire staff are great. Our 2 weimaraners have been clients of Dr. Nicki for 9 years at another location. My family feels very confident and comfortable bringing our four legged family members here.
Dr. Noah truly cares about animals, and only wants what is best for our pets. He has provided such excellent and attentive care to my somewhat needy dog that I followed him to the new practice. The soothing environment puts me and my dog instantly at ease. All of the staff is warm and friendly. He also offers competitive pricing on dog medication and treatments, which is appreciated.
Always a great experience
Very humble, extremely caring.
They always take great care of our dog! Vets and helpers are always kind and pricing is reasonable!
My sweet puppy fell very sick. Dr. Banks fit me in and is amazing! I spent the day hanging around the office while they did intermittent cares and tests on my sweet boy. I met Dr. Noah and many of the staff. I’ve never encountered an entire staff that although busy never scoffed, sighed, or didn’t take the time. The environment is amazing! The staff amazing! I’m grateful for the care Dr. Banks provided to my sweet Arlo and to the amazing staff.
Great experience! So glad we found this place.
Dr. Noah is a very compassionate vet who always makes you feel that your pet is his top priority.
I will never ever give my business to another vet again- EVER!! Dr. Noah is INCREDIBLE! My dog is very bad with vets, and when Dr. Noah walked in and realized my dog was shaking, he immediately gave me a hug like we were old friends, dimmed the lights, sat on the floor with an acoustic guitar and sang to my dog. My fur baby was immediately was at ease. I have never had an experience like this at any Vet's office. You can tell Dr. Noah cares about your pet just as he would his own. He writes everything down for you with prices, tells you what can wait, and what he would recommend for your visit now. Everything is so transparent so you aren't sticker shocked at the end. He even let me split the payment and pay half now/half later due to me having surgery and being out of work for 5 weeks. Right when I left, I told everyone I knew about my experience and I will continue doing so. Thank you for everything, Dr. Noah!
We had an outstanding experience unlike any other vet office we have been too in the past! All the staff were all very friendly, genuinely cared for our cat, and were very knowledgeable. I called around 1:30pm on a Thursday for our cat who had a very inflamed ear that extended into the side of her head that had developed that day. We had not been to this office before but the staff was wonderful and told us they would see her right away and to bring her in now. We saw Dr. Noah who was absolutely fantastic with our cat! Our cat is normally terrified of the vet but Dr. Noah made the visit go very smoothly. He was very gentle and affectionate with our cat and made the exam easy with lots of pets and affection. He explained everything that was going so we could understand what was happening (he even took the time to show us and explain what was going on in her x-rays). He also was very up front with the prices of what the tests/treatments would cost so there were no surprises when it was time to pay the bill. If there was more than one option of next steps he talked through the options and gave us the benefits and risks to make us a part of the care process. Nothing was pushed onto us as other vets sometime try to do. The clinic was very clean, modern, and not overly busy. Dr. Noah spent a lot of time with us during our visit and helped calm our worries. He even sang a guitar accompanied song to us while we were waiting on the x-ray! I can not say enough good things about our experience and could not have asked for better care. I will be making this veterinarian clinic our new home clinic!
Excellent
Avoid this place. I used to think it was great, but that was before I found out (by witnessing first hand, hearing from others, and reading in public legal documents) about Noah's harrassment of women and poor treatment of his employees. There are a lot of great vets in the area, and I can't think of any justification to support this man.
Wonderful staff and Doctors. There is a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere which will make you and your pets feel comfortable. I have been to several veterinary clinics, and this one is by far my favorite.
From the kind and compassionate staff to the beautiful and calming atmosphere of the clinic, I cannot recommend this place enough. Dr. Banks makes her clients feel like family and is so supportive during difficult times. When finances have been tight, she has been fantastic at helping decide what is necessary and what isn't - without making you feel guilty. What is even more incredible about this clinic is the their willingness to work with the clientele. Most vet offices you pay up front or you don't receive services. Days before my dog was scheduled for ACL surgery we found out her pet insurance wasn't covering the astronomical cost. They were so willing to help by offering a payment plan so I didn't have to put it all on a high interest bearing credit card. Not only that, Dr. Banks and Janet the officer manager spent a large amount of time post-surgery fighting the insurance and eventually got the denial overturned. I cannot thank them enough and am so beyond grateful to have such a devoted team caring for my fur babies.
Best vet!!!! Dr. Noah is not only extremely knowledgeable but so dedicated to help animals. He goes above and beyond the typical vet expectations! There is no other vet I would take my dog to! Any animal that gets to see Dr. Noah is awfully lucky!
Wonderful Vet! Really nice & really loves animals. When my dog, Lucy, came in she was scared so he did the exam on the floor. He called a few days later just to see how Lucy was doing & if she was feeling better. He always called back to answer any questions I had.
We are thrilled that we found Dr Noah's Veterinary Clinic. Dr Noah is a great guy and his love and knowledge about animals is obvious. I am 100% comfortable knowing my fur baby is in Dr Noah's hands.
Fair and friendly atmosphere...dedicated to the fourlegged friend
Dr Noah would spend a lot of time with some people but he spent less than 5 mins with me and my cat. Plus Dr Gordan who claims to be a reptile vet is terrable. He can't even cure mouth rot.
When we noticed that something new was going in over by Rainbow Jersey, we were happy to learn it was pet oriented but that had happened before and we were let. But this seemed different right from the start. First, you have to admit, the name does get your attention if you have pets. Secondly, Dr. Noah already had a a little internet buzz on the North Shore Facebook pages and thirdly, talking to the animals is so Dr. Doolittle, or Robert Redford as the Horse Whisperer, that you have to be curious. Well, Cooper got an upset tummy and Dr. Noah is right in our neighborhood. We get our dog in for a look and out comes the exact same dude from Dr. Noah's web site pictures, the raptor project and the Man vs. Wild Show on Discovery Channel. Sure enough, he takes a moment to go forehead to forehead with our teen puppy and when he looked up I thought, oh my god, he has learned the secret to life or at least why Cooper bit his own tail off. Actually, he wanted To take Coop in the back where he he could make friends in a quiet environment, and when he returned they were brothers. We got medication, special food, and 3 days later he was good as new. All he really had to do was offer free anal gland expressions for google reviews and we were on board forever, right? Just our luck, our dog got stinky! And here we are.
This place is fantastic. Great people!
We followed Dr. Noah from Madison to Mequon and now to Shorewood. He is the kind of vet that talks to your animal before he talks to you - and will love your pet as much as any person other than yourself. He gets down on the floor at their level and lets them (and YOU) know he is there to help them. LOVE THIS GUY! Would highly recommend him for your pet - no matter what life stage your pet is at, no matter what problem your pet has, or just for well-pet care. The first time I met him, I questioned how he could really care that much for someone else's pet - after all, he sees so many. But five+ years later, he is that same, caring, competent vet - and we love him!
Dr Noah is an amazing vet. Very kind and attentive and respectful of our pets and our wishes regarding them!
Just love the personal and our Vet is absolutely wonderful. Great caring place to bring your furry friends when they need TLC or regular checkups.❤
Dr. Noah is compassionate, entertaining, and professional. His practice is an extension of his amazing spirit. Any animal (or person for that matter) should feel blessed to be in his care.
Dr. Noah has such a special manner with animals ???? they all truly care about the services they provide. As long as I live in the Milwaukee area I will never go to another vet!
This is a somewhat tough review to make. We initially went with Dr. Noah's Ark because we loved their philosophy and approach to veterinary care. It was so refreshing to have a vet that actually gets on the same level as our pets and does an exam in such a natural way. We had taken our two cats there since kittens in 2018 and had no problems. They also allowed us to take both cats in at the same time and only charge us for one office visit. We loved Dr. Noah and everything he is doing for the community. We decided, even after moving about 20-25 minutes away, that we would still make the drive out there after getting our 8 week old lab puppy. We had our puppy spayed by another vet in Dr. Noah's practice in January which went very well until she went into heat this past Labor Day weekend. We went to an emergency vet clinic in Wauwatosa and they didn't believe us that she had even been spayed. It was extremely disheartening and scary. We called Dr. Noah's the next day and were able to get her in for an emergency appointment. They determined that she either had an infection or ovarian tissue was still present. It turns out the later was true, although we could never get a direct answer as to what caused it nor could we get a sincere apology for our dogs botched spaying. Maybe this was a one time thing, maybe not. That's why I am making this review after much consideration. They did fully pay for her second surgery to remove the "ovarian mass/cyst" without any kind of fight, which was appreciated. We got one follow up call after the surgery from the vet tech and that was it. This past week I got an email that they are redirecting their approach and moving to a different location and the doctor we had seen is no longer working with them. This change appears like it will leave many animal parents stranded to find new vets and many clinics aren't accepting new patients. I think they were overwhelmed with the large amounts of patients they were trying to see and because of this our dog had to suffer. I must note, the staff at the clinic is fantastic and I always appreciate the hard work of the vet techs and receptionists. Unfortunately we will no longer be back and found a vet closer to home. Hopefully we can learn to trust in our new vet after this whole experience. EDIT: Our pup just recently went into heat again and is going to be having a second surgery to try and find the remnant but at a different office this time. This is going to be a total of three surgeries for what should have been an extremely routine procedure. We were informed by Dr. Noah this is not an isolated case. Thankfully, he is going to be covering the cost of this one as well and has been extremely cooperative throughout this ordeal. I would HIGHLY recommend people to avoid seeking veterinary care with Dr. Meryl Schimek. I don't know where she ended up going to, but she is obviously not competent to perform surgery.
This is a great vet! Everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable in their diagnosis and advice.
Extremely personable, and always really good with our dog. Appointments are usually quick in and outs and the staff is always friendly and flexible. Wouldn't go to anyone else.
Love this place. Dr. Noah has been our pets vet for a long time and we love his so much we followed him to his new place. You can't go wrong taking your pet to Dr. Noah.
Love this place!
Dr Noah is the best veterinary you could ever ask for. He is so kind and gentle. He is the doctor that will snuggle on the floor with your pup, or do an exam in a car cause your animal is too scared or serinade the room cause people need a little attending to as well. He even will follow your (my) dog for 30+ min with a plastic cup on a stick for a urine sample. He is truly caring about every animal and will kiss and hug and fix the hell out of your animal. He will be the best decision for your pet.
My cat has been experiencing some behavioral and anxiety issues, which are notoriously hard to pinpoint. Despite being so busy, Dr. Banks was still able to get him in very quickly, and was very clear and transparent about what tests we were doing and why. I always feel very informed when I bring my cat in, and love the patience that everyone has with my furry friend.
I wish I could give more stars! This man is truly amazing and genuinely cares about his fur patients! So I contact the er clinic (WVRC) at 1am concerned about my big boy they tell me to bring him in, so I do. We arrive get little to no care and told to come back in the morning for another appointment. Charging $120 for 20 minutes and nothing to help the big guy or any diagnosis. 830am I speak with Dr. Noah he fits me in and once again takes amazing care of the big guy! The staff is just as great as he is which makes your experience that much better. Kudos to you my friend and proud of ya! Thank you for opening this place and taking care Zeus!
The most caring, fun and best at his craft!
I have had an unfortunately frustrating experience with Dr. Noah's Ark. I was VERY excited to start taking my two dogs there, and traveled from West Bend because of the great reviews I heard from friends and family last year before I moved (so it has been several months since the recommendations). These friends and family members have since noted that they have also seen a steep decline in care/service/response recently at the clinic, and apologized for recommending I go there. Maybe the clinic is under stress due to covid- who knows. I'm going to try to keep this as short as possible without leaving information out. I was a new client, and I took my dogs there to simply get established at the clinic, have them double checked for heart-worms and fecal worms and pick up some tic and flea stuff. I also was concerned about one of my dogs possibly having a UTI (smell, urination frequency). They said they checked them, and that my one dog had a staph infection that they gave her a shot for, and that she had severe allergies that they gave her a shot for. Just that bill was well over $1,000. I never got a call from anyone telling me anything about the tests, even when I followed up by calling myself. "He will eventually get back to you," I was told several times. I still have not heard back. I also got a "No news is PROBABLY good news." I asked multiple times for someone to call me because it's important to get those results before setting them up with new heart worm medication. They did, however, call me to tell me my other dog was exposed to a tic, but said they had no other information. This dog had a tic last year, and I took her to the vet (different vet) TWICE about it to make sure she was okay, and that vet said she was absolutely fine. I told this to the Dr Noah's, but they strongly encouraged that I come in and have them do their own test anyway for around $100, and I did. I also never got a phone call about the results of THAT test. I went in a third and fourth time to get the dogs' nails clipped. Every single time I went (4 times) I was told to wait in my car in the parking lot until someone called me, and every single time I sat there for over 25 minutes without anyone calling me or speaking to me, so I left. My dog they gave a shot for what they said was a staph infection, not a UTI, still seems to have a UTI, and she seems to be furiously itching at her face, which makes me wonder why they said they took care of her allergies. I'm not sure what exactly they did, but seemingly nothing to take care of the problems. I also was never talked to about how to help her with her allergies going forward or follow up, or received a phone call back- I've never had a dog with allergies before, and she has never suffered from them. I am saddened because I was SO excited to start going to this clinic; that's why I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt- I figured it was just an off day. But no one talking to me about what they're doing BEFORE they treat my dogs, no one ever calling me with results for the handful of tests I had done for them and them telling me to wait in my car 4 times in a row and then forgetting I'm there just seems pretty extreme for getting my dogs checked out for way over a thousand dollars- especially since nothing seems to have been dealt with. Every time someone came out to get my dogs they were very sweet and polite, which is why I hate to have to leave this review. Maybe I was just unbelievably unlucky. But after so many factors, I'd like to put it out there for people who are looking for a new vet. I would definitely go elsewhere- maybe I was treated this way because I was a new client, maybe I'm unlucky, maybe it's covid- I'm truly unsure. At this point, I feel the need to just take the monetary loss and get their tests redone at a different vet clinic. This sucks because I am a school teacher on a very limited budget, especially over the summer, and really wish that I didn't get myself into this situation.
I've known Doctor Noah since before he was born, as a matter of fact I'm the one who named him Noah, full disclosure - in case it isn't obvious - I'm his mother. Although I can't possibly give a completely unbiased review, I can honestly say that I am humbled every day and bursting with pride at the wonderful, adventurous, quirky, effervescent and multi-talented human being he is. He is a fabulous son, a fun loving and caring brother, an amazing husband to his high school sweetheart, a loving, committed and fully present father, a genuine animal lover and a highly skilled, dedicated, trustworthy veterinarian. I watched him make the very difficult and courageous decision to leave his secure job at a corporate owned clinic and set out to create his vision of a personal, one doctor veterinary practice where he could offer the highest level of care, with state of the art equipment and the most modern diagnostic techniques in the warmest, friendliest, most comfortable and down to earth clinic imaginable. He made the decisions on every nut and bolt that went into the construction, he insisted on the highest quality, brand new equipment, he personally interviewed and hired all of his support staff, he shopped for and selected the furniture, the artwork, even the mops and the light bulbs, to create just the right atmosphere, while staying on top of the latest research and veterinary practices and singing his three gorgeous babies to sleep every night. I'm a proud mother, and Doc Noah is a great doctor and a wonderful man, and Doctor Noah's Ark Veterinary Clinic is the very best place in all of the Milwaukee area to take your pets for all of their health and wellness needs. Don't take my word for it, read the rest of the reviews. I hope to see you one day soon at The Ark.
Beamer and I were lucky enough to find Dr. Noah Arnold in Madison, WI and we were even luckier that our moves to Milwaukee, WI coincided (otherwise we would probably be commuting to him for appointments because he is just that great). He is hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST veterinarian. He takes the time to get to know you and your pet, makes everything easy to understand, and is really just the nicest guy around. His love for animals is so abundant; I always know my dog is in good hands! I highly, highly recommend Dr. Noah's Ark!
Best. Vet. Ever. If you are looking for a vet who will a) love your pet as you do and b) take time to explain (and re-explain) needed treatments, then Dr. Noah is your guy.
They are amazing. The staff is friendly and really care about the fur babies. They treat my pets with love. I would recommend them to anyone looking for pet care. Top notch!
Dr Nicky and Dr Noah are really outstanding veterinarians and have created a space and environment that keeps pets and owners calm and at ease. They treat each pet like family and leave you feeling assured of your pet’s care and well being. 5/5 absolutely. Would recommend to anyone who wants the best for their animal friend.
So glad Dr Noah moved closer to us. New location is beautiful. We're lucky to have a great vet like him.
Dr Banks is amazing and the only one I trust with my furry friends
Great place for my dog. All the staff is wonderful and Dr. Noah literally gets on the floor with my dog. Care is second to none.
Everyone there is AWESOME. Best Veterarian office ever!!!
we had an appointment scheduled months in advance for the end of August - they cancelled on us because the vet is leaving the practice and they won't reschedule with another vet. This is poor customer service.
I have never felt more comfortable then with Dr Noah! Best vet EVER! I cannot say enough!
Dr Noah..is the best. He's friendly and is a wonderful vet....and he calms his pets with music at the drop of a hat!!!
We took our dog there because our regular vet was closed. The staff and Dr. Noah were friendly. There were four things that I was very unhappy about. 1. Our dog was there because he had just started having difficulty with jumping into the car, onto the couch, etc. He received x-rays. I don’t know what they did but he was in such pain afterward that he could not get out of his bed for two days! I felt like they broke my dog. It was traumatizing. If only I had gone to my regular vet! Speaking of which: 2. Dr. Noah dissed my vet: St. Paul Veterinary Clinic, which I have been going to for 30 years. He said, “Well, you get what you pay for.” In light of how my dog was Injured, I was furious, for a long time. I even thought of suing Dr. Noah and giving the proceeds to St. Paul! 3. Dr. Noah suggested a kind of light therapy for my dog‘s hip displasia and pain. He said that it definitely works and that he offered the service. I knew its efficacy was questionable at best. (If you read the scientific research, the most experts will say is that it can’t hurt.) 4. Dr Noah was very much the salesman. He was definitely of the opinion that the expensive food and supplements he sells would help my dog. We were there for so long that he wore me down and we bought both. I still regret going there considering how much much my dog suffered afterward.
Dr Noah is amazing!!! A vet that actually cares!
Doctor Noah is incredible.
We just brought in our new puppy to see Dr. Noah. His staff was patient and answered all of our puppy questions gave him shots and sent us home with lots of treats for our puppy! Best Ver Ever!
Probably the best place in the world to take your pet
Dr Becky has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She is incredibly responsive, thorough and compassionate. Highest recommendation. Kayla at the office has gone above and beyond in ways that I have never seen before as well. She is an excellent representation of the exceptional care you will receive at this office!
Everything that everyone has said here that is positive about Noah as a vet and as a person is an understatement.
