Came for the first time. My cat had something very common wrong with it. She said she had no idea what it could be and would have to put the cat under and do some testing. Which sounded like $$$. After posting a pic on a pet group, dozens of people commented and knew exactly what it was and when brought to another vet, they said they would never have to do a needle test for something like that. Sad I wasted $83 for her to play with my cat. Would have cost so much if I continued here with the treatment.

Had to take the kitten in for her first shots. Place is clean and staff are very friendly. Prices are affordable too. Definitely recommend coming here with your animals

We just moved to Saint John NB a few months ago, and we absolutely are thankful to have met and gained such an amazing vet for our four cats and dog. She treats them amazing and is always there for our fur babies when they need her ! She is a Very positive, compassionate person as well. Truly recommend her to anyone.

This is most unfortunate but I am compelled to call out this business based on my recent experience. My First dog of 11 years was put to sleep due to illness at All Creatures by Dr. Holland about 5 years ago. I wasn't a regular customer and I only take my pets to a vet when it is absolutely necessary (i.e. in pain or illness) as I find they live longer that way. At the time I thought it was done professionally. My current dog has something wrong with her so severe it appears she is dying and I figured that if she was going to be put down (which everyone in my family agrees I should do though I am in denial) - if that was to happen then I would be comforted by the fact I know from experience how the staff allowed me time to grieve last time and were respectful - at that time. However, when I called this year about the current dog they wanted nothing to do with it since I quote "Dr. Holland doesn't put dogs to sleep anymore because it is too hard on her." Pardon me? How do you think I, THE OWNER, feels. I clarified to whoever took my call that I wanted a thorough exam first but that whatever has happened to her has escalated so quickly they might need to put her down. I made it clear that this was NOT a convenience issue. I asked if they could at least examine her and they said they wouldn't take her because my dog wasn't a regular client! If its too hard to put down a pet then stop your vet practice. We owners rely on this service to avoid suffering for the pet. Furthermore, to be denied based on frequency of visits or what have you is stupid. I remember when Dr. Leland Thomas worked there - he was the first to examine my first dog. I will take my pet somewhere else; Somewhere they don't judge the owner and are willing to provide compassionate care when it is needed. I am not impressed with the veterinary care in Saint John and if Amherst NS wasn't so far I would make that my primary care for my pets.

We have been bringing our pet's here for years now. Very knowledgeable, but more importantly, they take the time to listen, and they do care about your concerns. We recently took in a rescue kitten. After a check-up and analysis, the poor thing had 4 different worms and parasites. We now have a healthy, happy and active 2-month-old kitten that has a home. Thant you all at All Creatures Vet.
