They have to be some sort of cat whispers! My fur baby and I had awful experiences from another close by vet that left my kitty extremely hostile and scared to be around anyone she doesn’t know. I didn’t have high hopes for anyone to help her out because she was so mean to everyone..the doctors and techs understood that and really ensured she was safe and okay. After a few visits, Sam (my kitty) began to feel more safe. Before, Sam wouldn’t the let anyone at the other vet touch her and she would never get out of her carrier, now she walks around room and lets all the doctors and techs examine her. My partner and I cannot thank everyone enough for giving us back our baby. They had been patient, kind, and so helpful through our almost twice weekly appointments for months. You know a place really values their clients when they call to make sure your animal is okay. Not once did We feel pressured to do treatments or scans, they are seriously the best vet we’ve ever been to, I can’t say enough good things.

Have been here a few times for my dog and while the visits went smoothly for the most part, the cost is quite pricey. I initially agreed with everything they suggested, totalling up to over $600 a visit and realized that half the things weren't necessary. I also felt pressured to take a 3rd xray when I only permitted them to take 1, and they took 2 for no extra charge to suggest I take a 3rd one for an additional fee... needless to say, nothing was found in any of the images. They do help you with alternative medications at lower cost though... but only after saying their suggested meds aren't within your budget. They will revise and revise, and by the 3rd revision or so, you will get the cheaper alternative.

This clinic is adequate for routine checkups or vaccinations, but for anything else I recommend going elsewhere. They will not hesitate to give you several unnecessary tests and prolong the problem to burden you more. If you go to this clinic, be careful of the exams and tests taken. Call another vet to make sure they don't give you unnecessary exams for more profit. In our case, more than one vet told us that some expensive exams were not necessary at all. They are friendly at first but when you ask questions they are very defensive and it becomes more difficult to interact with them. They keep you waiting for long periods without news. To avoid. Cette clinique est adequate pour des examens de routine ou des vaccinations, mais pour quoi que ce soit d’autre, je recommande d’aller voir ailleurs. Ils n’hésiteront pas à vous faire passer plusieurs tests inutiles et à faire durer le problème pour vous charger davantage. Si vous allez à cette clinique, soyez prudent des examens et test passés. Appelez un autre vétérinaire pour vous assurer qu’ils ne vous font pas passer des examens inutiles pour tirer plus de profits. Dans notre cas, plus d’un vétérinaire nous ont confirmé que certains examens coûteux n’étaient pas du tout nécessaires. Ils sont amicaux au début mais lorsque vous posez des questions, ils sont très défensifs et il devient plus difficile d’échanger avec eux. Ils vous font attendre pendant de long moments sans nouvelles. À éviter.

The vet technicians are extremely helpful if you need to call in with a question and the vets that I've seen (Dr Zollo and Dr Weissman) have always been extremely helpful whenever I've had any problems/concerns with my pup. Very nice, caring, helpful and humane staff. Mama cat adds a soothing and cuddly fluffy presence to the reception area. The vet there recommended a type of dry food for my cat and it effectively fixed her throwing up problem and gingivitis. On our first visit they offered us a bag of the chosen food free of charge. The prices are competitive and the best bang for your buck money so to speak.

My cat was progressively getting sicker as the years passed and they guided me towards an conservative treatment plan as costs were an issue. We always discussed appropriate treatment plans and options which I appreciated. I could not asked for anything better when my cat was on her 9th life. Dr. Zollo was fantastic and always considered my needs and my cats as priority. We were also so lucky to have Dr. Auger the odd time, who also took great care of us. You can’t find friendlier or more bilingual staff anywhere! I loved taking my dog to this office when we lived in Montreal. I always found the recommended treatments and prices to be very reasonable. We were seen by a few different vets during our time there, and each was very friendly, compassionate and knowledgable. My dog was constantly in pain so I frequented this vet but the vet wasn't able to to give me any diagnostics even after spending so much money on the check ups every time. They always said that the dog must had bloated stomach. My dog ended up going to the emergency one night for the same symptoms and she had to go through a major spine surgery that cost 7k. ++ It's interesting that the veterinaire replied to this review saying they weren't able to find my file on their system when they emailed me directly asking about my feedback and still email me their ad for vet check ups and vaccinations. For that reason I'm lowering my review from two stars to one star.

if I could give them zero stars I would. I took my cat in for surgery and ever since he has developed a cough. They keep prescribing medicine and did an X-ray. The cough wont go away, I have reached out to them several times. They tell me someone will get back to me and they never have. I’m out of my mind with worry but they just don’t seem to care. The doctors and technicians here are all very knowledgeable and friendly. They have taken excellent care of my current dog as well as many of my foster dogs. My dog gets stressed and anxious very easily and the staff at the clinic are always more than accommodating -- and I cannot stress this enough. They give my pooch the best care and I never worry about them charging me for anything unnecessary. Even though there is a vet clinic a block away from me, I don't mind spending the one hour it takes me to get here because I know my dog is in the best hands.

Everyone showed genuine compassion and care as we started to go thru the journey of saying good bye to our beloved 18 yr. old calico Naiomi. Dr. Boisvert was an absolute gem in explaining procedures, these by means of calls to us after her long work hours. Never did she rush her answers to my many questions, instead her patience in explaining and reassuring our concerns showed her genuine passion for the profession she chose. This vet is completely unprofessional, incompetent and dangerous for your pets. We brought in our cat for a number of tests and they kept insisting it was a rash. We brought her in for the 3rd time as the rash they told us was going away wasn't. The cat had cancer and was getting worse. After a test that they had put her under anesthesia, the cat had a seizure. The vet wasn't able to stabilize the animal as they "don't have the drugs necessary". Furthermore, they put us with the cat on the street saying that they're "closing at 5". In other words, they rushed us out the door with a cat that was having a seizure after their intervention. All they cared about is getting paid. I wouldn't suggest this vet to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Regarding all of the negative reviews here, it's case-by-case and depends on whether or not the problem was solved -- which is sometimes not as black and white as it seems. My initial visit gave me a very positive impression. The interior of the place is spacious, you can find food, toys and treats here as well. I haven't had any vet services from this clinic because we moved before we really needed anything, however they have amazing products for dogs and cats and deliver from their site online. We order everything from there including food and skunk spray (skunk off) which was amazing!! I've contacted them a few times when I've been concerned about my dogs, and they always gave me great advice. They are more interested in helping than in just making a sale, which is why they have helped me and yet they weren't even my dogs vet. Good kind and friendly people who truly love animals. My cat, Pikachu, and I are new customers so I've only been here twice so far, once a month ago for vaccines, and once today for Pikachu's boosters. I think I will be staying with this Vet for a long time to come! Their staff is welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable. The vet has answered literally any and all questions I could think of as a nervous Cat Mum, and never gave me the impression that they were annoyed. Pikachu also seemed to be calm throughout the entire process (though she did protest the vaccines as soon as I got her back lmao). They were very thorough when discussing which vaccines I would need for my (mostly indoor) kitty. They laid out all of the options for me clearly and the vet gave me the pros and cons of each vaccine and their professional recommendation on which ones were necessary. They listened to all of my concerns and absolutely did not try to upsell me on any unnecessary medications/procedures/ vaccinations. At a less reputable place, I may have walked out of the vet having given my cat 4 vaccines, 2 of which would be unnecessary right now, but this clinic really places the health and wellbeing of your cat first, before arbitrarily increasing their bottom line. 10/10 would recommend, and I will be coming back here for any future issues!

I was promised next day test results on two occasions from the vet and received the results many days later while my cat was suffering. I had to call myself to get medication to help him that should have been prescribed as soon as they saw he was suffering from kidney disease. I just received the test results a week later (again promised next day) when I had already put my cat to sleep the day before. I should note I also informed them I had put my cat down and was told they would inform the vet.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the reception to the initial interview with the veterinarian. My dog had an operation for sterilization and was healed nicely and without complication within a few days. My dog so enjoyed his visit at this vet that he pulled me there a week later just to visit (they gave him treats).

I agree with the other negative reviewers here. Don't be fooled by the inviting atmosphere and friendly technicians. The veterinarians clearly lack experience. Both times that I visited I left with completely inconclusive results. The second time I went for my cat, I was convinced the situation was quite bad (possibly cancer) and several tests totalling $400 were required. I don't mind at all spending that to make sure my pet is healthy, but I never even got a diagnosis in the end. The vet failed to get back to me. When I went in and asked for my file to go to another vet, I read it and noticed crucial information about my cat's condition was missing like the fact that she had vomited for a day straight..

I think this clinic is probably better suited for dogs than cats. I have been here three times. Today there were three employees in the room, they were all on my cat at once grabbing around his whole body roughly instead of scruffing him. It escalated a lot and my cat was screaming. In the past, vets have always been able to calmly administer vaccinations without upsetting my cat. He is very friendly with strangers. This vet was able to examine him without issue, 40 minutes in the room without a problem. He hissed at the vet once when poked a third time with the vaccine syringe and he came back with gloves, towels, 2 techs, and a muzzle. It was the same treatment for the vaccination of my second (extremely timid) cat. I won't be going back because I think this sort of treatment would encourage my cats to be less friendly and more hostile to new people. I am really upset today and my cats are healthy! I wouldn't want to put them in this situation when they are actually sick. I am hoping one of the cat-only clinics in town will be better suited to diffusing the stress of a cat at the vet rather than escalating it.

I love this vet! When my dog, Pixel, was approaching the end of her life and her health was rapidly declining, Dr Farah was so kind and gentle, and Sarah the vet tech would call me every week or two to check up on Pixel's wellbeing. Then, when I adopted a puppy during the first wave of the pandemic, I was in over my head. My puppy, being part Border Collie, was extremely anxious and hyperactive. The vet and vet techs were so generous with their time on the phone, expertly guiding me through this trying stage.

This office employs vets who only work part time. They will have you pay for tests and promise next day results only to call you a week later because your vet "is not working those days". They were so delayed we had to put our cat down before they called us back with test results. After asking them not to call because our cat was gone they called anyways to let us know the results of the tests promised a week earlier. This is the first online review I have left in my entire life. I will go out of my way to purchase cat food elsewhere and will recommend you choose another vet.

Went there for a check, my pet becoming blind I wanted to have info about it. The context is that all of my friends noticed my dog's eyes at first sight, the color, the luminosity is not normal and its noticable as soon as you look at it, plus, the pet bumps regulartly into objects and compensate with its smell sense. So here I am welcomed in this clinic by someone who doesn't even notice it. Intrigued, I don't mention it and I ask the person to check my dog for a diagnostic. The person looks the weight, the heart, the eyes everything and suddently asks me what I noticed. Even more intrigued, I return the question. She looks again, and says "nothing" and repeats her question. Here I begin to feel really embarrassed, what are their diagnostic abilities ? Is a vet supposed to build their investigation on what I tell them ? and what if I don't notice something ??? I am not a vet, THEY ARE ! At this point, the situation is getting worse, I ask to see the boss. I remain silent now about the eyes, and ask her to check my pet. Still nothing is found ! At this point, I know, I will NEVER NEVER return there again.

So far I’ve had good luck here. The staff have always been kind hearted and good with my pets. I will never forget them staying open so I could run to get my dog an emergency prescription for his eyes (they found out midway through dental work that he had advanced glaucoma.) I agree with other reviews though that they aren’t the promptest. For example, I had to call them back and ask why a vet hadn’t been in contact with me after looking at my cats insulin readings (she did reach out to me the next day.) Thus, I would recommend if you have something that seems like an emergency to go to a VEC or some sort of emergency vet where you’re guaranteed a fast response time. I cannot speak to recent reviews that mention that they dont successfully give you next day test results as I’ve never been in that position. Overall, from my experience I would recommend them, but make sure that you’re not afraid to reach out to them and bug them if they haven’t contacted you promptly.
