Une prise de contact avec le Dr trés respectueuse qui s'est avéré(e) être très professionnel(le) en me donnant beaucoup d'explications sur ce qu'il ( elle,) envisageait de faire, comment et pourquoi. Les aides ( 2 personnes,) venues à la rescousse pour tenir le gros toutou angoissé, trés professionnelles aimant leur métier et l'animal rassurant ce dernier et le propriétaire de ce dernier. Résultat des courses. Une anamnèse qui s'est avérée exacte. Aprés l'examen, pas de forcing quant à l'achat de médicaments pas forcément nécessaires évitant ainsi la sur-consommation d'achat de produits inutiles tout de suite. Un délai d'attente d'observation raisonnable ( après la prise des médicaments,) en comptant un "appel téléphonique de courtoisie " de la part du Adr avant d'envisager un suivi ,(radios, soins, médicaments, opération...etc. ) Laisser du temps au temps ! C'est donc décidé, nous seront donc des clients fidéles pour nos animaux en cas de besoin.

What can I say about Hôpital Vétérinaire Duvernay ? I have been going there for years and have always been met by courteous, professional, bilingual and caring staff. From the receptionists, technicians and vets I have never second guessed or questioned any diagnosis or treatments for my animals. I have always felt that my pets needs and health and well-being were their top priority. The technicians and doctors have always ensured that I completely understand what is going on and are great at taking the time to answer all our questions and concerns in terms that my husband and I could understand. I have never once felt rushed or like “just a number”. We have recently added a new fur baby to our home. I wanted to ensure our little puppy's health so I rushed to see our vet, Dr Tremblay on Saturday. She took the time out of her already busy schedule to help guide us and assure us that our Lexie was doing very well. Her suggestions regarding chew toys, puppy food, sleep habits have helped us all with the stressful transition of going from one dog to two. Dr Tremblay also went above and way beyond by sitting with my three year old son and teaching him how to properly care, play and love an eight week old puppy! Never have never seen a vet take the extra time, the way she did. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking to top notch service, a caring and professional staff and very reasonable prices. You are not just a client, you become part of the Hôpital Vétérinaire Duvernay family!

Ça s'improvise chirurgien avec aucune expérience et quand ça vire mal ils ne veulent plus s'occuper de l'animal. Dans ma profession, si nous n'avons pas l'expérience de traiter quelqu'un, nous le référons à un collègue professionnel qui en a l'expérience, nous ne le faisons pas nous même à titre de pratique. Ils ont oublié de donner des médicaments importants suite à la chirurgie et quand il y a eu des complications suite à celle-ci, eux considère cela comme non urgent après de multiples appels sur plusieurs jours de suite. Un petit conseil, si vous êtes trop occupé, arrêtez donc d'accepter des prendre plus de clients si vous n'êtes pas capable d'offrir un service adéquat à ceux que vous acceptez. De plus, votre manque de professionnalisme et d'empathie est atroce. Mentir pour vous débarrassez de vos clients car c'était rendu trop compliqué pour vos compétences. Je crois que vous avez oublié la raison première de pourquoi vous avez voulu être vétérinaire. Maintenant cette raison est devenu l'argent et vous en avez fait votre priorité bien avant le bien être et la santé des animaux...il serait temps que vous changez de métier. Évitez cette place à tout prix si vous aimez votre animal.

I have called to transfer my new puppies file just from the Breeders name to my own and it was a headache. I wish i asked for the girls name because she was very rude over the phone and was not accomidating. Also told me it was not possible to switch file holder names which is not true. I called back today and they were not able to find my puppies file at all. But this time this secretary was trying really hard to accommodate me. The doctors might know what theyre doing but some of the secretarys are lost and are rude. This made me want to switch vets right away and not even let them give my puppy her second check up and find another place for her. Thank you.

Elle me dit que tout dépendra du temps qu'il restera sur l'anesthésie, de leur rappeler le jour de l'opération et de marquer (avec un marqueur) les boutons à enlever sur mon chien. Toutefois, elle me dit de ne pas m'inquiéter puisqu'elle va en faire mention dans le dossier. Le 8 octobre, je me présente pour son opération, avec tout l'énervement que ça implique de faire opérer un chien de 15 ans, et on me montre le contrat pour l'opération avec le montant de $1600! MON CHIEN N'A QUE 6 DENTS DANS SA BOUCHE!!! Évidemment, j'ai protesté la différence entre l'estimation initiale et le contrat. La chirurgienne, Mme Martinez, n'est pas au courant de l'estimation initiale. Je lui demande alors de ce qui en est des boutons qui doivent aussi être enlevés. Malgré qu'elle l'a bien vu dans le dossier, elle me dit que rien n'a été planifié pour que les boutons soient enlevés lors de l'opération, que le contrat ne prend pas en compte une telle procédure (donc serait plus chère que $1600) et que, de toute façon, c'est une autre personne qui doit faire cette procédure et que cette personne n'est pas là. Il y a longtemps, je me suis fait faire le même coup par un exterminateur (doubler le prix sur place) et je me suis promise de ne plus me faire avoir, même si pressée dans le temps. Une entente, même orale, est une entente qui se doit de se faire respecter. Faut croire que les coquerelles sont revenues. Mme Martinez me demande d'attendre avant d'écrire sur Google pour laisser le temps à Mme Tremblay de me rappeler pour discuter de la situation. Évidemment, personne ne m'a appelée. J'ai été cliente de ce centre quand M. Bruneau était propriétaire. Décevant.

Ce sont également les seuls qui était capable de commander les vitamines que j'avais besoin (les autres cliniques n'ont même pas voulu se renseigner...). J'ai toujours trouvé que l'équipe a Duvernay essaye de nous accommoder le plus qu'ils le peuvent, et je trouve ça merveilleux. Les vétérinaires et techniciennes sont aussi très ouverts et curieux quand aux nouvelles technologies et études. Mon chat est désormais guéri de sa maladie autrefois incurable grâce à leur gentillesse et ouverture d'esprit. Bref, je n'ai que de bon commentaires sur cette clinique et les recommande à 110%!

I brought my little girl, Daisy to the vet. The veterinarian spent and hour and a half with us, and did a full, in depth exam. The vet really made sure to give us a treatment plan for her issue, and was amazing. A little pricy, but totally worth it. I dont know of any other place that takes that amount of time with their clients. Great experience.

Dr. Stein and her colleagues treated our cats with accurate, precise treatments and simple at home guidelines/medication. She handled our cats in an adorable yet professional manner. I took my HEALTHY bunny there for an eye infection. Only to be told he has a dental problem. This is common for bunnies with eye infections, so we thought nothing of it. They kept my bunny for the entire day to put him under and shave his teeth. We went to pick him up and noticed he had issues with limping. The "vet" there Laplante said our bunny was stressed and they are afraid his back was damaged. They did an xray and found nothing. Overnight we noticed he had no control of his bladder and legs. We rushed him to the emergency vet clinic on 440, where they did actual professional xrays and found our bunnies spine was broken. He had no chance at his normal happy healthy life and we decided to euthanize him that same night. Our hearts are shattered. We took him in for an eye infection at this clinic and he left with a broken spine leading to his death. Shame on the vet and technician at this clinic that poorly mistreated and Mishandled our bunny. Dr Laplante killed our bunny. Call her Dr Kerkorian Beware and stay away from this place and "vet". Shame.

I called in a panic 2 weeks ago , my cat limping. I got an appointment the same day. I met a Veterinarian, Dr Stein who seemed down to earth, took her time to explain to me the issue with my cat, and what options are available. She was re assuring and I felt her sincerness It really helped me make a decision to have surgery on my cat. You walk in there, you sense a positive vibe by the staff that works there. I can go on and on as to how pleased I am with the services I received.I say thank you on the behalf of my cat Luna who is in recovery at home????
