Not impressed with this place. Besides having zero dog handling skills or what seemed to be any real interest in his job; the vet was unfriendly. He seemed to be in a rush, and didn't provide much useful information. The vet clipped one of my dogs nails too short, causing her pain/ stress and blood to poor from her paw. He may have ruptured a hernia by holding her too tight as well. After his sloppy work he tried to stop the blood with expired medication... The experience was unprofessional and unfriendly, and uncomfortable. Not what you look for in a vet. Highly do not recommend this place.

C'est avec confiance que je retournerai pour les soins divers de ma belle chérie poilue!

Bref, nous étions très émotifs, et puis fallait le faire alors le prix n'avait plus tellement d'importance rendu là. Il fallait le libérer de ses souffrances. Lorsque la vétérinaire est arrivée vers nous, elle nous a pris le hérisson de mains et nous a demandé de la suivre. J'ai trouvé ça très peu délicat dans les circonstances, mais bon, ça passe toujours. La vétérinaire ayant une longueur d'avance sur nous, notre hérisson était déjà sur la table lorsque je suis arrivée en bas. J'imagine que la femme qui assistait la vétérinaire était une technicienne. J'ignore son nom ou son titre. Mais son visage lorsqu'elle a vu notre hérisson... Ça je ne l'oublierai jamais. Un visage dégoûté, irrité; elle a ensuite regardé la vétérinaire avec une visage qui semblait dire "Tu me niaise là". Nous sommes là, nous sommes tristes, c'est notre animal que vous avez entres les mains, et votre visage madame...j'avais envie de hurler mais il s'est effacé à notre vue. Ensuite, je devais demander si je pouvais prendre ou toucher mon hérisson pendant les procédures. Je me sentais quasi mal à l'aise de demander... Mais le comble, lorsque la vétérinaire a constaté le décès, c'est qu'elle a banalement dit "il est mort là, il sera incinéré avec les autres à la fin de la journée". Wow...on ne nous a jamais demandé ce que l'on voulait faire et c'était dit avec une telle froideur. Lorsque nous avons dit que nous le ramenions, elle a cru bon dire "Il est vraiment mort là, inquiétez vous pas, il ne se réveillera pas!". Déjà que de faire euthanasier un animal de compagnie, c'est une expérience difficile, là franchement c'était une vraie farce - pour elles. Nous avons aussi deux chats. Croyez-moi que même mal pris, nous n'hésiterons pas à faire plusieurs kilomètres de plus pour éviter cet endroit. Je donne une étoile pour la gentille jeune femme à l'accueil, qui elle était capable de compassion et qui ne jugeait pas notre peine sur la grosseur de notre animal...ou de la facture.

(Elle s'est mise à cracher quand on l'approchait et à pleurer quand je la prenais) La vétérinaire l'a tirée par la queue et la manipulait tellement brusquement j'étais moi même sous le choc (je suis restée sans mot lors de la visite, et oui je connais les techniques de manipulation normales, mais c'était clairement pas ça qui était fait). De plus, elle m'a donné des informations erronées (jai verifié avec plusieurs autres vétérinaires) de manière à me faire payer pour des soins non appropriés et inutiles. À ça s'ajoute la dame à la réception qui est clairement tannée de sa job!! Je vous conseille l'Hopital veterinaire de l'Est (après en avoir essayé plusieurs dans le coin), le vétérinaire que j'ai eu était super doux et empathique, et c'était très facile de voir que son but n'était pas de faire de l'argent sur mon dos :)

Clinique Veterinaire Jarry has by far the best vet team ever. They are professional, have been super accommodating when we have had emergencies, and show that they very much care for their patients. They adhere to strict covid measures, which is very reassuring. Just had a teeth cleaning for my cat this week, and the procedure was a bit of a risk because of a health issue, so I was very concerned. They called me multiple times throughout the day to keep me posted on his blood work results, my cat's progress through the procedure, asked for consent before removing any teeth, and to let me know when he was waking up and doing alright. They even called me the next day to follow up on how he's feeling and ask if he's eating well. Dr Gauvin and Manon truly went above and beyond for my cat, as I know they do for all their patients. Their secretary is also sweet and funny. Their prices are more than fair too. You can tell they don't want to overprice and discourage people from bringing their pets. Only con is the male Dr seemed a bit inexperienced and mixed up a little this past summer, but was still quite nice and asked for Dr Gauvin's input to reassure me. I did not see him last time I was there, so I'm not sure if he still works there. Overall, I have recommended them many times, and will continue to recommend this clinic forever, because they truly are the best!

Dans deux semaines nous irons faire retirer les points de sutures (c'est compris dans le prix). Nous avons fait cette chirurgie car depuis sa première chaleur, elle était devenue désagréable, agressive et elle n'utilisait plus sa litière (des crottes et pipis partout dans sa cage). De plus, cette chirurgie protège de l'anémie (si la lapine n'est jamais fécondée) et du cancer de l'utérus. Notre fille est très contente de retrouver sa lapine Carotte en pleine forme.
