I worked at veterinary clinics for several years and this doctor practices great medicine, and she does not try and push treatment or spending. We Know our puppy Piper is in good hands with her. Dr. Iqbal is an awesome vet and an amazing surgeon. She has been looking after my Harley for over 3 years. She removed a cyst at the edge of Harley’s eyelid. The two layers of stitches were so fine that no scar or any marking was traceable after his full recovery. Dr. Iqbal is caring and compassionate. When Harley is sick, she takes time to explain the treatment and bring comfort to the both of us. Her fees are extremely reasonable. A number of times, I thought they made a mistake on the invoice because I was charged so much more at other vet clinics in the past. I am very happy and grateful for everything Dr. Iqbal and her staff have done for me and Harley.

I take my cat here and they are amazing. Great staff at the front- friendly and knowledgeable . They even remember her name every time I come in for food. The vet that is in charge is very friendly and knowledgeable! She is very caring with the animals and takes her time to explain everything to us. There are animals running around inside but they are not causing any harm to anyone

There is help and there is compassion. It is affordable and the Vet does everything possible to save your pet. She has my full trust more than most of the doctors I know. She made me and Max smile again and after the death sentence of Highpark clinic ( they tried to rip me off!!) he is feeling good, is still alive and has the right meds now for Arthritis. Mrs. Iqpal takes care of my cat and with her help I got also my other rescue a Chihuahua which met my German Shepard at the dentist appointment there. They are inseperatible since! Thanks for helping so many animals in Need, will keep handing out the business cards. Fair prices and love and care!!

I adopted my two kittens from Mississauga Human Society so I was directed to visit Parkway Animal Hospital for further vaccinacions and spaying etc. It's a 25 min drive from my home but I'll tell you - IT'S WORTH IT! This is the best place to bring your pet. Dr. Iqbal cares for the animals like they are all her own. I've noticed that right away at the 1st visit. She gives those animals so much care and love! She answers all the questions, goes through all the details, she is so thorough.. I can tell she just LOVES what she does. I don't really have to come back there anymore for anything else since my kittens got all the stuff they were supposed to get when adopted from H.S. and I could easily go to the vet just beside my house from now on but... I will always continue coming to Parkway Animal Hospital. I'm so thankful that I found such a great Animal Doctor.. I can trust her with my pets. Dr. Iqbal is seriously the best V et I've ever met and I had a lot of pet animals in my life.

The only way I can explain my experience is love Dr.Iqbal loves what she does.My very 1st visit my dog (boxer) was very sick with infection took him to another vet they did not give him strong enough meds so I was referred to Dr.Iqbal and she took care of him for 3 months When she thought she had exhausted her resources and wanted to send him to a specialist which we did not have the money to go to my husband said they was a money grab and had full confidence in her abilities and we had her do his blood work and she fixed our boy did the same as the specialist would do blood work and give results.Love her this was just over a yr ago . Yesterday April 15,2017 our boy has kennel cough again despite having his shots.Again Dr.Iqbal took him right in gave meds the love she shows to her patience is something I have not yet experienced until coming to her office.It is way out of our way we don't live in the area takes us 30 mins to get there but well worth the drive she has no fear of my boy like other vets have had in the past.My boy loves his new Doctor won't take him anywhere else ever again

Parkways has been our go to animal hospital ever since we've had pets. It's in a great location with good hours. Prices are fair and Dr. Iqbal is an amazing veterinarian. You can tell she loves animals and is deeply passionate about helping them. She also caters to every client making sure to work with their budgets and schedules. We've always gotten amazing service and are very grateful for our pets wellbeing.

Dr I is one of those vets you rarely find. Not pushy but very informative. I brought my 1 year old boxer for a tooth extraction . Before the procedure she was able to give me a rough estimate so i knew how much it would cost. Dr I called me before and after the procedure to let me know how my dog was doing . The care she received was phenominal. When we picked her up we were greeted with a happy boxer . To top of great customer service the prices are the best you will find anywhere. I am on my 4th vet as I raw feed and many vets have a negative opinnion. Dr I never made me feel like a bad owner if anything she encourages owners to do what's in the dogs best interest. One top notch place!

Dr Iqbal and staff are amazing! Everyone is always super friendly and professional, the hospital is always clean, and if you have an emergency they go above and beyond! I accidentally closed a door on my cat's tail one evening after the vet had already left for the day, but Dr Iqbal came back to work just to see us. Thanks to Dr Iqbal's care my cat made a full recovery!

I never write reviews but I do it in appreciation to the wonderful service received from the Parkways Animal Hospital. When searching for a vet after adopting my cats, an animal lover recommended me this Hospital. Since day 1, Dr Iqbal treated my babies with love, compassion and care. She always took the time to explain what was happening and which medical options were available. A year ago, Dr. Iqbal treated Moo Moo for an eye infection, in no time he recovered and went back to his happy energetic self. However, I get to better know Dr Iqbal and her amazing crew when Moo Moo had to be hospitalized for a Lower Urinary Track Disease. During his time at the hospital, I was allowed to visit my cat as long as I wanted, Dr Iqbal used to call me (sometimes at midnight) to provide updates and helped me to understand and to cope with the situation. As I stayed long hours at the Hospital, I could witness how knowledgeable and plain wonderful Dr Iqbal was with every single pet she treated. You can tell she and her personal love animals. The Parkways Animal Hospital puts the caring bar very high; I have never seen that commitment to Health and Well-being in any other health institution (for animals or for humans). Although the prices are affordable, it is more accurate to say that the Hospital provides more care than the costs reflected in the invoice. The loving and compassionate service we received is truly invaluable. Needless to say that I trust Dr Iqbal and I will come back as long as she would accept to treat my cats!

I had an issue with my cat, and 3 other vets were unable or not knowledgeable enough to help me. However, this vet was so kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She is amazing! Highly recommended! This place is extremely unprofessional and border line animal cruelty. In need of verterinary service during a time of need the and the receptionist wouldn't give us a date or a time to book an appointment and was extremely rude. With this incident I will be reporting them to the mississauga animal control boared. I do not recommend. Please be very cautious with this office.

Don't recommend. This vet tries to up-sell things you don't need (useless cat litter). She believed my cat had the worst case scenario when it was just allergies also would not refill my prescription bc it had been a few months but it was for the same allergies & I am a healthcare professional myself & know all my pet needed was a refill. Her reason to not refill the prescription was flawed & just so I'd have to go for a visit again & pay again. She also "guilted" me into letting his allergies get this bad before going to a vet.

For the past 4 years that we have had our Boxer-mix, we've taken her to Parkways Animal Hospital for yearly check-ups, for her yearly heart worm test and prevention medication, as well when she has any medical issues. Dr. Iqbal is honestly the best. She so obviously cares about what she does and has a true passion for animals.We would never consider taking our dog anywhere else. The cost of treatments are extremely reasonable and affordable. We've never felt as though we were being recommended treatments that weren't necessary or right for our dog, just to get us to spend the money. Dr. Iqbal always lays out all treatment options and leaves the decision making up to you. She's also one of the nicest and most compassionate people I've ever met, and our dog loves her too. Thank you, Dr. Iqbal and staff for caring for our baby girl and for all of the wonderful things that you do!

Brought my cat here for the first time today, was very surprised by the friendliness of staff and just how helpful they and the doctor were. The only reason that I gave this place a 2 stars was because the 2 ladies who pick up the phones are very nice and provide whatever information you needed. Other than that, if I were to rate the doctor, it would give her 0 stars. Just to give a little back story, I brought my new puppy here (which I bought from a CKC breeder) and after examining the puppy and seeing the pimples on his forehead (which was from his siblings play fighting with him. I asked the breeder and other buyers from his litter), her question to me was 'how much did you buy your puppy for', which I found very odd why would it matter how much I bought him for. After mistakenly telling her how much I bought him for (her expression was like she was judging me) she had told me to monitor him, which I did and it did go away. 2 months fast forward, and I notice that my pup was losing hair on the side of his neck AFTER taking the heartworm medication. So when I booked him to see the doctor again and after the examination was done, the first thing she tells me is 'didn't you know your puppy has a skin condition since he was a puppy', which I was confuse about because that's all she told me.. After that, she had try to sell me a spray for his neck. I asked her to explain to me with further information like speciation what's wrong with the skin, what could it be etc.. Then she brought up about his pimples, which I told her it was from him play fighting with his siblings. After having a little disagreement with her, she said to me is what she recommend is this tropical spray and if I don't start now then it will be worst and she walked away from me and I guess that was the end of that conversation. Ever since then, I had never returned back to this vet. I felt like every time I brought my puppy here, there was always 'something wrong' and then felt pressured to buying things and judged. The doctor doesn't have much knowledge of the bulldog family (pugs, English bulldogs, Frenchie's) I ended up going to a different vet which provided me much more information and treated my puppy like it was his own. I read a lot of the reviews on here, I'm happy to see others are getting better experience then I did. To whomever is going to respond to me, its okay but I will never be coming back here again. Stay safe.

Dr Iqbal is wonderful. She was so sweet to my kitty cat stroking her gentley and giving hugs. No vet has ever done that! You can tell she’s a down to earth vet who cares about one thing, happy and healthy pets! The team was friendly and nice as well. I would recommend going to her for sure. The consultation fee was $50 which wasn’t bad at all considering York Region vets cost $75 just to tell you what the issue may be. The vaccination and medicine were standard price but that is not determined by the vets! All in all, a great place to go. I have found a new vet for my kitty and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Dr. Iqbal and team! :)

Honestly I don’t know where to start! She’s perfect along with her staff, they’re extremely professional and caring towards our fur babies. We have two cats and a dog and she truly tends to them with so much love and care. I’ve never felt more confident and comfortable with a vet and their staff. The pricing is more than fair - I’ve been to other vet clinics before and it’s always a huge money grab, they resort to the most expensive treatments off that bat without walking us through medical procedures or what’s wrong with our pet. Dr. Iqbal really does have the animals best interest at heart, along with their owners. Dr. Iqbal and her team are extremely compassionate towards people and their fur babies. I’ve been going to Parkways for years with our 2 family cats and dog. Always a wonderful experience. The assistants are always caring when handling our animals and make the appointments a breeze from the initial start call until you walk out the door. (One of our cats is extremely difficult to deal with so that says a lot) Dr. Iqbal is extremely professional, amazing veterinarian who cares and listens to you. Not only does she show compassion and precision with your pets, she always remembers small details about our family. My visits are always comforting and personable. Prices are definitely more affordable than most clinics across the GTA/ Mississauga. Everyone in the clinic is so straight forward about the process/ prices and are realistic about the charges/tests that need to be run. (Rare to find these days in my opinion). I wouldn’t trust anyone else more to care for our animals!

I have been with Dr.I since the hospital was opened and I truly trust her with my two boys (my cats, Duster and Swiffer). Dr.I is very very knowledgable and she has a great instinct when dealing with sick animals. She had a lot of experiences and she used to work in an animal ER. She has a true compassion to help the animals and pet owners. She also takes care of those rescued! One of my cat got severe pancreatitis a while ago and he stopped eating and became very lethargic. Dr.I and staff were there to ensure my cats get the best care and treatments and they would constantly checking if my cat was doing well. I truly appreciate their help and I am so grateful that she is the vet of my two boys. If you are looking for a vet for your pet, you should definitely visit Parkway animal Hospital!

I have to say that this is the best animal hospital/clinic I have been to. It is super clean and very inviting, does not feel like a clinic. Dr. Iqbal is the most compassionate and knowledgeable vet I have met. She took amazing care of Riley and got her better in no time when she did get sick. Her staff is super friendly, polite and caring as well. Anything I have said is an understatement to the services provided by Dr. Iqbal and her staff. She truly loves what she does and you can see it in the way she handles all animals. Riley actually loves going to the vet now whereas before she would put up a fight the moment she realized she was outside the door of another clinic. The most unprofessional vet I have ever been to. If I could give them anything below a one star, trust me I would! I took my kitten to get his last round of shots, off the bat the receptionist had attitude was rude and very inattentive. After that they’re are just lose animals in hallways and running around the clinic, climbing the receptionist counter like what if that animal was sick?? Lastly, the way the receptionist pulled my kitten out of his cage was unacceptable. She dragged him by his neck skin, after I told her “hey just give him 2 mins he’ll come out” . I was outraged as they do not have the slightest clue what they’re doing and you are honestly paying to take care of your pet. I quickly then walked out as I could not take anymore risk. Take my advice and utilize your time and money elsewhere!

Very disappointed with the referral to a terrible hospital from this vet, which not only was expensive, but had a horrible staff. Seemed as though this referral was made due to personal connections. We also needed our kitten's blood work results emailed to us (because we did not hear a word from the animal ER we were referred to), which takes literally two seconds, and after calling multiple times since 10 AM and being told the results would be sent by 8pm -- NOTHING. How unprofessional!! We paid over $1,500 altogether to be treated like this!!

I asked for a time and date and I would take any date. They shut me down stating they cant provide me with one. I would also like to note my dog is 6 and has been going there since she was 1years old.
