The best ever. On Saturday I found my cat suffering from insulin shock, I was frantic and call all vets that were open to get him in to be seen. Most were only open for food and had no vet on staff that day . Midland Vet did have a vet working but refused to see him stating the appointments were booked and I had to drive to Barrie, I told them he would not survive and they showed no concern for that. I thought I would phone Heritage and they told me to get there asap. The vet Dr sullivan and the rest of the staff were fantastic. They got my cat awake and alert within no time then they had an employee sit with him and test his blood sugar level every 15 mins, they finally got it high enough to risk taking him to Barrie Emergency clinic as he require 24 hour care. I can not thank them enough for the care and support they gave me and my cat. He is still in Barrie and although alert and eating and getting around they still have not quite stabilised his blood sugar level, fingers crossed we will be able to get him today. Again, I want to thank the staff for taking care of my Pipa and keeping me calm. They deserve an award.

Heritage animal hospital has convenient hours for a working family with late hours some days and open on Saturdays. We have seen two of the vets and both were compassionate and offered plenty of information to understand what was being done and how to care for our pets. They maintain a good stock of food and seasonal pest treatments. I will gladly continue to bring our pets here for checkups and treatment.

This is the best vet that we've ever visited. Started here many years ago out of necessity when we were at the cottage and our dog was incredibly anemic out of the blue. A visiting friend who was a vet tech and told us we needed emergency care immediately. Heritage was the closest option, so we went. The situation was grim when we arrived, but the caring, calming and empathetic nature of every staff member we encountered gave us confidence and comfort - even though we had to leave our pup for almost a week. They diagnosed, cared for and nursed her back to health until she was stable enough to come home. They called us with frequent updates and went above and beyond for her and for us. When we picked her up, the bill was SHOCKINGLY reasonable... Truthfully inexpensive. We have not seen another vet since! For the remainder of our first dog's life we made the drive from Toronto for every appointment... And now with our second dog, we do the same - she's never seen another vet. The first thing you'll notice here is the love that the staff have for the animals they treat. They go above and beyond to make the pets as comfortable as possible, and the fees are SOOOO reasonable. Really refreshing and truly a great place to take your pet!

I had to say goodbye to my beautiful girl, Cali, today, and Dr. David Campbell was there by my side through the whole thing. He and the staff at Heritage Animal Hospital were hospitable, welcoming, and understanding of my families financial situation, and Dr. Campbell truly made me feel like I was making the best decision, even though in my heart it was truly hard to grasp. I'll miss my baby dearly, but I'm forever grateful to Dr. Campbell and Heritage for their kindness and support.

i was extremely worried about my pet moose as he had snuck under the bathroom door and inhaled alot of insultation and dust from sanding drywall, he was very weak and dizzy. I called to make an appointment for him and asked if they work with ferrets. The receptionist simply replied that they dont work with rodents. Ferrets are not rodents they are Mustelids which is a part of the weasel and mink family. Maybe you should educate your staff better when dealing with animals. or maybe they shouldnt be working with animals at all if they dont know common knowledge.

Have to say BIG ty for the care i received at this hospital Had to take my baby boy Jay Jay .Had a injured foot . This hospital told me everything that was going on with him price sent meds sedation there great i would prefer anyone to take there animale there .I live in Toronto last week at my trailer what a great experience i was a basket case came out happy ty all. .
