Don’t take your exotics here. They don’t give you the time of day, they’re extremely unprofessional, and make no mistake, they’re utterly incompetent. North Simcoe might be the cheapest service in the area, but the price often reflects their service or lack thereof. Took my exotic pet in and they didn’t ask me any questions besides my guess at his diagnosis. No “what bedding is he on, what food, how old, is he eating/drinking” THEY LITERALLY ASKED ME NONE OF THIS. didn’t examine him, just prescribed meds for a problem they didn’t even diagnose. I’ll be finding another vet and I’m a longtime client. These vets do a halfassed job 90% of the time, seemingly because they have no compassion and only care about the $$$. Not to mention they still aren’t letting clients in to the appointments with their pets despite the province being in Phase 3. They seem to be big fans of doing things with our beloved pets behind the scenes which is very suspicious.

Wonderful vet service. Everyone was so nice and the vet took the time to explain to me why our farm dog has been having such trouble with his ears and was very detailed with instructions to treat him. Everyone was so kind and patient with our rather large German Shephard who has quite a bit of anxiety when at the vet. Very practical treatment. Thank you so much, we are so grateful you took such good care of him today.

We were in a car accident and my dog was in the backseat. Jen happened to be one of the people that stopped. She called the vet they came right to the accident and Took him right back to the vet overnight. They Were awesome and I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they did for us. Unfortunately I had to put my dog down the next day because of injuries he sustained. We are in the process of getting a new puppy now and because of how great they were I am now changing My services to them.

Note that Blueberry can be nippy with other vets but he was completely at ease with the Vet at North Simcoe.

In all the years I have been going to vets (we've been to about 6 or 7) with my dogs, I have never experienced the level of care that I have found here. All the staff is very kind, capable and very knowledgeable. They have been good to fit me in when there is an urgent matter. Here we are treated with respect and without any condescending tones so common in other vet clinics. I feel lucky to have found such a gem to be able to trust with my pup's care. The location (on a farm) is peaceful and their rates are very reasonable. I never hesitate to recommend them.

My dog has osteosarcoma and, a new cancer. I called today (boxing day) and, even though I haven't taken my dog's there for some time (because of a move), I was greeted on the phone by a very pleasant lady named Susan. Susan was very compassionate about my situation and, gave me some insight from her many years in the industry. After a tough/tough Christmas with our dog, I was very pleased to have some great advice from someone instead of the usual b.s. I would strongly recommend anyone living in and/or near the are to visit if Susan is working. Thank you, Susan, for your help :-)!

5 weeks ago our dog Mitzi ended up with an eight inch stick stuck into her chest and the tip went into her lung. We rushed to North Simcoe Vet . The staff at North Simcoe Veterinary Services are wonderful. We are always able to schedule appointments with ease, our cats' records are very detailed, treatments and procedures are recommended only when necessary and without pressure, and staff have always answered our questions with confidence. I've not been a pet owner before rescuing these two cats, so I am unable to determine how the fees of this clinic compare to other local clinics. I do find that vet fees run higher than I expected (and especially with two cats), so I just make sure to ask upfront or ask for a detailed breakdown of fees before confirming any treatments or procedures. The staff are more than happy to walk you through the invoice and explain everything on it.

This is the best vet I have ever been to, especially in case of a emergency. My kitten was really sick and they took her in and got her operation done within 24 hours. They were also really good about payments and worked with me when I was having issues financially. The staff is great and the place is very welcoming. Another hidden gem

Im from out of town and had to take my dog in today as his stomach is feeling off. I was pleasantly surprised of how beautiful this vet is along with the amazing staff. Even though they were fully booked today they were able to take my Darby in to put him on fluids. We specifally delt with Dr. Rose and couldn't have been treated any better. She was so friendly even though the day was hectic and was great with finding the issues and getting Darby on the mend. I would recommend this vet to anyone.

It's unfortunate I discovered them too late as my dog was in late stages of kidney failure. Very well educated and up to date with current remedies, diagnosis. I highly recommend them. I wish I knew of them sooner. Worth the drive to Midland. Definitely will return with my next bundle of fur.Thank you.???? It's unfortunate they took care of the end of life procedures. They were very caring and sympathetic during the whole process and tried to console us the best they could. Very compassionate and understanding. Farm like environment and tranquil setting. Good to have the opinion of two vets, one high quality holistic and another such as this high quality clinic.
