if I could give a negative number I would. On Saturday August 11/18 I woke up to find my diabetic cat in insulin shock, I called here knowing they had a vet on staff on Saturdays. I was told to take my cat to Barrie Emergency Clinic. I told them my cat would not make the drive but again I was told the appointments were full. I begged that is was an emergency but they did not budge. Although I never said this while on the phone I wanted to scream what the hell kind of vet is it that would not take a cat in dire condition....looks like they want the money only, however I would be paying them too. If I was there for an appointment I would have gladly rescheduled mine for an emergency. If I had an emergency the hospital would certainly take me in, I just don't know why the vet and the staff working that day are even in this business as there is no empathy there. SHAME on all of you

Nothing bad to say. We bring our Bengal Cat here and my mother has two cats who also go through this Vet. They are very progressional and clearly have a true passion for all animals.

This clinic is fine for healthy pets that only require routine check ups, dental work etc but not for pets with specific medical life threatening conditions. They are attentive when you do get to see a vet and are friendly. My cat was diagnosed a year ago with diabetes which was never stabilized thru lack of knowledge ,until he was sent to the Barrie ER. Though the vets were aware of his unstable medical condition over a long period of time, and even given today's covid 19 special circumstances, no one was able to squeeze in 5 minutes to look at my cat when I called with real concerns over his health a week before being sent to the ER Vet. This lead to his conditioning worsing to the point of kidney failure. Luckily I had blood work scheduled for the Monday the following week at which time I had to insist the vet see him as he was throwing up green bile by now. He was anorexic and very dehydrated. If a vet had taken 5 minutes to look at him the week before, I believe they could have caught all of these conditions early and he wouldn't have gone into kidney failure and may not have been sent to Barrie ER or at the very least would have been sent down sooner and again his condition wouldn't have progressed as far as it did. They are a very busy clinic esp during these times, so if you have a pet that needs more than usual attention, this isn't the clinic for you.

We brought our 10 year old female dog there. She had pyrometra and required emergency surgery, a complete hysterectomy. Dr. Mike and the staff were so kind and gentle. They kept the cost as low as possible and offered to take payments if we needed help. They saved my girl. I am forever grateful for their compassion and skills.

We can not speak highly enough of the staff at the Midland Veterinary Clinic. They literally saved our dog's life - their care, quick action, team work and compassion to stabilize Jack was a sight to see. I would highly recommend this clinic.

This clinic refused to help with a seriously injured wild rabbit that was clearly in distress. The customer was told to bring him to the SPCA which would not be open for another 3 hours! I would not trust any clinic that would show such a lack of compassion for a suffering animal to be treating my pet.

Our service was excellent from the front desks making arrangements for us to see Dr. Mike, right to the technicians who showed Ceali their love & concern. We had a follow up today & Dr. Mike has asked us to call him on Tuesday with an update, making sure to tell the staff he will speak to us right away! My cat been sick first with Ataxia and then Grand mal seizures. They are so money hungry that they couldn't care less to help your fur baby and couldn't care less how it's effecting you. They just love seizing every opportunity they can to get as much money out of you! Every visit they charge you $92 and then prescribe you the wrong medication that did NOTHING to manage her seizures! Even tho I been telling them that the cat has seizures and sending them videos to proof what I am talking about, they still end up prescribing her pain medication! They also take their sweet time to call you back, especially through emergency. I shouldn't have to play tag with them when my cat is sick! So I am happy now to finally leave this unprofessional and good for nothing place! If are thinking to take your pet there, be sure to question every suggestion they tell you and research the medication they give you. Because with my experience, they keep pushing wrong medications for her.

Have been here a few times now as my pets are healthy and I relocated from Barrie. Front area staff always seem scattered and have not been well organized with my pets info personally. However all the veterinarians I have dealt with have been terrific. They have been very thorough and gentle and have a great bedside manor if one can say that about a veterinarian.
