My cats have received excellent, compassionate care from Stoneybrook for the past 30 years. Dr. Russell is great. Went out of her way to help when my cats had a couple of emergencies. She appears to keep up to date with the latest in pet care. I appreciate her straighforward, candid advice. Staff are polite, understand what good customer service is and respond to phone messages promptly. Highly recommend this hospital.

I was very nervous about my first ever vet appointment and everything about it, but even through this pandemic and all the precautions needed to be taken I still felt very comfortable and had an overall great and friendly Experiance! Amazing Service! My dog (Ghost) is almost 5 years old and he has always been a super anxious dog that is afraid of new situations. He hasn't been to the Vet since before the pandemic because I didn't want him to go into the Vets alone. I booked an appointment months ago at Stoneybrook Animal Hospital, this was a new Vet to Ghost because it was closer to our house. I hoped at the time I booked the appointment I would be able to come in. However, not much has changed over the past few months in terms of policies and the staff still come outside to get the animal and bring them inside. This stressed me out!!!! lol. When Jessica came outside for the first time before she even tried to bring Ghost in she tried to become friends with Ghost. This made me feel sooo much better about the whole process. Once done she brought Ghost back out and he seemed so happy (even though I'm sure he was shaking the whole time). After that the Vet (Kristina) came out and talked to me about Ghost. And then if that wasn't enough amazing customer service Jessica came back out with more treats for Ghost afterwards. Overall, I was very impressed by everything they did! I would recommend Stoneybrook Animal Hospital to anyone with a pet. :)

I first found Dr. Kristine before she opened Stoneybrook. She was filling in for a vet on Spruce Street. I was so impressed with her, I was delighted when she open her own business. She has always been kind, caring and if you don't understand and what the exact problem is she will explain it so you can understand it. I have never been pushed in to spending extra money for anything and she usually gives me options for my dogs treatments. My daughter has now moved out of province and also brings her new puppy home for SAH to look after. The girls out front are the best, kind, caring and compassionate when need!

Took my 2 dogs here when we moved to the area but was turned off immediately by the aggressive pressuring of the vet and vet techs to pay for additional services. When I declined the unnecessary extras, I was made to feel like a bad pet owner because if I "really cared" about my dogs, I'd opt for the full vaccine and testing regiment. Switched vets after the 2nd visit of the type and have been happy since.

It was a fantastic experience from the moment I walked in the door. Their staff were super friendly and showered my dog with attention. The vet was extremely friendly and helpful and didn't pressure me into get any "extra" vaccines like my previous vet did in Toronto. If anything, she made it seem like not all the tests I wanted were 100% necessary which saved me money. I'm not sure what the other reviews were talking about. I felt very welcomed and Koda and I left very happy.

I took my mother’s cat, Quincy in today for his annual check up and shots. I could only wait outside the clinic for his appointment to be completed due to the covid 19 restrictions which I fully understood. However I was disappointed when he was brought outside and I had to ask the technician to take him back inside to be weighed as they had not done this. It made me doubt somewhat as to how thorough his examination was and if all my concerns had been addressed. Not a good feeling.

All I can say is WOW. My dog is very difficult, if he has to go to a vet, especially if they are in a rush and don’t take their time. He is from a shelter and probably had bad experience in the past. Every vet visit was stressful for my cat, my dog and myself. I had to hold them firm, they were super stressed out, no way to get the dog’s nails done (same experience with my cat). Here, it’s completely different. They have so much passion about animals, take their time, explain everything to you and are so professional. My pets noticed it from the beginning. They go inside with them, vaccines gets done, nails perfectly trimmed like they had never done like this before and the best, when they brought them back to me, they were both not stressed out as well. Amazing. Thanks to the great team.

Amazing customer service and an expectional team. My vet was closed and I have purchased my cat's special food here before so I called to see if they had some in stock and they did. Unfortunately they were closing soon, so they lady that I talked to said she'd call around to see where I could get it but unfortunately the other vets were either closed or the food was not in stock. She then called me back and said she'd keep the vet open an extra hour until I got their from across the city. Over and beyond my expectations, highly recommend bringing your pet here for all your pet's needs.

Dr Russell and Dr. Jongert are amazing vets. They care about your pet. They are balanced and prudent about diagnosis and treatments. They try to help us anxious moms and dads of furbabies in their approach. The other staff also are kind and understanding. We travel over 1/2 hour to Stoneybrook Animal hospital while we have one less than 5 minutes away. For us it is the trust that we have in the vets at Stoneybrook not the distance.

We highly recommend dealing with Dr. Russell & her dedicated staff. We just lost our 12 year old weimaraner, Wellington on October 11/20; Thanksgiving morning. Her team has been extremely caring during our few months of prolonging our family members' wellbeing. She was available by email on all occasions of our distress to respond & help nurture our worries, fears preceding & during our recent loss. To further acknowledge her commitment, she met us at her clinic to receive our beloved pet on a Sunday; a holiday at that. I have been taking my dogs to the vet for 7 years. Yesterday I was given an appt for Friday evening for my new puppy the hasn’t stopped coughing. This morning she got worse and when I call the vet to get her in earlier as she has been up hacking hard and Vomiting all night. Their response was to monitor her and bring her to her appointment two days later. Well we found another vet thankfully right away as she had something lodged in her throat. Well I can tell you if I waited two more days the puppy wouldn’t be with us… This veterinarian is heartless and definitely doesn’t care about their patients…
