I've been going to Southside Animal Clinic for 3 , almost 4 years now. They are a great group of people, that I've always found to be warm, compassionate, and caring. Called Southside Saturday morning to inform them that the ear infection has returned after one 7-10 day dose of ear medication Having only opted for 7 days of medication and the infection clearing right up but coming back weeks later.... I would like to try again for the full 10 days. Finally after 48 hrs waiting on a call back, Southside refuses to refill ear medication for a very old, frail cat. Insist on another appointment which is not something this cat needs to go through at this time. I do not live close to this location and this cat's other health issues keep me from wanting to remove her from the house where she is relaxed and comfortable taking medication for a very bad case of hyperthyroidism. I wonder why they want anther appointment when we were just there weeks ago and ended up paying $300+ for the visit. What additional information could they extract from a checkup so close to the last? If there is different strength ear medication well, this one didn't work, either refill and go for 10 days or give me the stronger medication. Ear medication held behind paywall.

Went there with my dog when I first got to London. All women working there. None very friendly. Expensive. Last straw was when they cut the quick on my dogs nail and made him bleed. So stopped going there.

Competitive pricing. More importantly compassionate and professional staff. Cared for our 21+yr old cat for many yrs and at the time of his death. Gave us time to grieve with our pet even though it was closing time. Did not make us feel rushed to say goodbye. You can't ask for a better place to take your pet. They accommodated my wishes to stay with him and let me hold him while they started the IV line instead of taking him back to the treatment area. I honestly can reccomend them highly.

We cannot say enough good things about the vets and vet techs here! We recently made the switch for our 3 kitties Addi, Lila and Mika and have been so pleased. Addi had an ulcer misdiagnosed on her eye for a months by our old vet - the second she went into Southside they knew exactly what was wrong and treated it correctly. They always seem to have our animals best interest in mind and really care for them. We fully recommend them to anyone.

When I arrived at the vet clinic for my dog's appointment, all I needed to do was to call their number. I spoke with a technician on the phone and we went over the things that needed to be done for my dog. A few minutes later someone came out to bring my dog into the clinic and I just waited outside underneath the trees. The system in place is really easy and fairly quick for what needed to be done.

Pets are always treated well. Covid protocols are in place at the moment. Staff ask how the pet is and adapt to anxious ones. Vet reports back by phone and discusses what should be done during the visit and also recommends treatment just as she would at an in person appointment.

These people charge top dollar for everything. I’m going out of the country and bringing my dog and they’re charging 200$ to fill out a form that datta veterinary hospital is doing for half of that price as well as the anti parasitic that we need to enter the other country. South side has shown me how ridiculously expensive it is for the same amount of work other vets are doing for WAY cheaper. They stated that the amount of time it would take to fill put the form was very “extensive” LOL that was there excuse as to why it was sooooo expensive! Never coming here again.

Dr. Huerter really took the time to explain what was wrong and what our options were. They even stayed open after hours to give us enough time to say goodbye to our little buddy. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Stewart and everyone at the clinic. He has been my vet since 1991 when he owned the animal clinic in Strathoy. Each vet or tech I interact with is very nice. They offer options and talk them through so it's understoos what each thing is for. They are great with reminder calls and follow up calls after each vaccine. They know my dog by name. Only thing that could be better is a little lower fees. But I like this place and will keep coming back.

All the staff are really nice here. We came to this place for our puppy, highly recommended by family and friends. Our pup had an ongoing issue that we would bring him back every 3ish weeks ($$) for and we would get medications prescribed with no real diagnosis. We have changed vets since due to not wanting our pup on antibiotics constantly mostly for a second opinion.

Excellent vets and techs but their prices are double and then some compared to other clinics. They quoted me just under $270 for flea/tick/heartworm meds for my pup, but I was able to get the same medications at another clinic for $110.
