Okay so I don't usually gossip; but I will review things. I came here to get my new adopted cat (adopted just this past Saturday) checked out due to her being under the weather. The medical staff were fantastic, but the receptionist was very rude. First off I wanted to purchase a bag of treats for our cat out of my money and the shelter is paying the vet bill since our cat was adopted sick. The receptionist asked would I like to buy the bag of treats I stated yes, and the shelter was going to be...but before I could finish she said the shelter is not paying for the treats. I did not dignify this with a response. Then when I asked for the cats medical records which the doctor said was no problem to get the receptionist made a fuss about giving it to me. That's why I'm rating them so low.

Amazing staff. Very compassionate and so friendly. Cost is very fair. I can't say enough good things about this vet. I've been coming here for years with my pets and have recommended them to two friends who thanked me after for the recommendation to such a compassionate office. My dogs get scared and shaky coming in for stuff, but as soon as Dr Mor handles them they settle right down. To me, that's very comforting. I would be concerned if my dogs were fighting and scared, but it's the opposite. He has the calming touch, and he always says hello to them and pets them. Dr Mor's assistants are the best assistants of any business I've ever dealt with. They're always soft spoken so that the office is a place of calm and relaxation for the animals who come in stressed enough. What stood out especially is that they're up to date with the latest research. A while ago, my dog went to get her teeth done and I noticed one of the pain killers I got for her was gabapentin. I thought it was a little odd at the time, but my dog responded very well to it and had a much shorter and easier healing time after tooth extractions than previously. I didn't think much else of it till I was having a conversation with someone recently who had taken their dog to a specialist who talked about how new research has shown that gabapentin is preferable for pain control in dogs and that tramidol or whatever the old pain killer was isn't as effective as once thought. It made me feel really good that Dr Mor was already up to date on that, just like the specialists. Amazing vet and team!!!

They charge you for additional things and don't tell you about it before the bill arrives. For example, I asked if they could cut my kittens nails because I don't have her nail cutter yet and they charged me $12 for the service without mentioning the additional fee.

East London Animal Hospital is in my experience, the best vet in London . They are amazing with communication and explain every detail related to pet care , pets exam , and pets treatment. They never try to steer you in any direction and they never try to price gouge or do unnecessary services. Every visit I have had here with my babies , I leave feeling comfortable and confident with the vet visit and treatment plan. I have been to other vets and have left with little to no care, little to no explanation and a lot of money gone. With East London Animal Hospital, no matter who I am bringing in for whatever need they have , I can trust the need will be cared for the right way with lots of compassion for both my babies and I, without having to pay an arm and a leg. Everyone here understands vet visits can be scary and they do everything they can to make it a good one for me and my pets.

My kitty lost his voice and I was able to get an appointment the same day I called the vet. The vet looked at my cat and gave us three treatment options and the prices for each option, and allowed us to choose what we thought was best without pressuring us into choosing the most expensive solution. Other vets I’ve been to always recommend the most expensive treatment options without actually giving you cost information until it’s time to pay. If you’re looking for a vet that will get you in quick and not drain your bank account, give this place a try.

Terrible experience when I brought my dog here for the first time on Feb 15/2022 for some skin issues. The vet checked her vitals but only took two seconds to look at her skin, and didn't provide any insight to the problem. I still had a number of questions when he left the room mid conversation. I assumed he was going to get something. He returned only cracking the door a few inches to say coldly "you can go now".The vet seemed to have 0 interest in the health of my pup, the woman vet or vet tech (not sure) was more helpful near the end of the experience, yet there was no transparency on the cost or the items being prescribed. It felt as though I was ushered out of there. It is like night and day compared to my previous vet in BC and I would not recommend coming here.

This vet is new to us. I was very pleased with the availability of an appointment which we required urgently (the cat has asthma... figures lol). It was so nice to learn that we can trust this clinic for all of our animals, without having to worry about being assaulted by (what often seems to be) price gouging. DO NOT GO HERE. The doctor is a goof. I went to get my cat checked out for her eye infection, he gave us eye drops without any antibiotics and that is what she needed to get better. He also failed to mention that all three of my cats had fleas, which is why they kept getting worms. (If your cat digests fleas when cleaning themselves, there is a strong possibility they could get worms from the fleas.) If you want to waste your money, go ahead, otherwise do not take your animals here!!! - Katlyn Quinlan

I agree with some other people on here, the veterinarian has no clue what he's doing. I have an aggressive cat who hates the vet. He is fine at home, but lashes out when he's at the vet. He had no idea what to do and was scared of my cat. I had to muzzle my own cat and get attacked in the process, because he has no veterinary technicians in there to help him. I had to hold my cat down while he did a sub-par examination. He listened to his heart and pushed on his stomach and that was it. He said it was constipation and gave me meds. I wasted my time because my cat actually has a cracked tooth, which is making him not eat. But I'm most disgusted at the fact that he didn't know how to handle an aggressive cat. Waste of money.

Just took my cat home from there after he was very sick and required hospitalization for 3 days. They took very good care of him, and while the bill was still expensive, it was not unreasonable and they did comp some things, which was very nice of them. Everyone who works there obviously loves their job and loves animals and all seem very competent. I absolutely recommend this vet.

PLEASE READ!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr.Aman Mor!!! Not only has he saved my dogs life once...he just got done saving my cats life for the second time! First time was pyometra and today it was feline breast cancer. I read thru the reveiws and read some pretty nasty things and they are so not true!! I have been bringing my pets here for 8+ years!! First off comments about him not caring about animals are a complete LIE!! HE DOES CARE!! And those saying that he said they should put down their pet instead of surgery are rude!! He only does this because he cares also about the owner of the pet! He just wants to make sure that you are able to take care of yourself FIRST! which to me means ALOT! Because he goes beyond caring for your pet!! My cat is a mean cat but she owns my heart and as an owner i made sure to protect his staff from her being horrible to them. Today i was sooo scared of losing my cat and he let me stay in their lounge area so i could be comfortable and be by my cats side ALL DAY!! Him and his staff went above and beyond by checking up on me and offering me anything I needed. He has gone out of his way more than once for me and my pets and i honestly would not trust any other vet! So before you start saying that he is not a nice person and he doesnt care about animals you need to stop and calm down!! He and his amazing staff DO care about your pet and only wants the best for your pet and yourself!! Id give 1 million stars if i could!!! And even 1 million doesnt seem enough!! I cannot thank him enough for his wonderful services!!!

I’ve been going to East London Animal Hospital for almost four years now. I love the girls. They are very sweet and kind to your dog and you. Dr Moore is a really great vet. My dog is petrified of getting her nails clipped but slowly she’s getting better. Dr Moore is great with your pet and very knowledgeable. I really like this clinic and I recommend it to anyone from small dogs to big babies like my English bull terrier Gia.

The receptionist cared more about our cats than the vet did. We were not happy with the in-and-out feeling from the vet; he didn’t take the time to do a checkup, just gave a shot and that was it. We had some questions but felt he just wanted us out. We didn’t feel he cared about our cats, and it was pretty disappointing.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience. I have a very sweet and calm cat who never really cared about being examined, cleaned, etc - she hardly ever gets nervous (we even bathe her at home with no issues whatsoever, which is something I was never able to do with my other cats). When we got to the hospital she was as playful and relaxed as ever, exploring the room in all her curiosity. For some reason the Vet there just came in and grabbed her forcefully to apply a vaccine, making her scream and want to run away in a way we'd never seen her do before. The vet promptly asked one of the nurses to step in and hold her down in order to finish the application. It was painful to see such a sweet cat being handled that way, and for that reason I will never return to this place. There's no way I can trust that vet to touch any of my pets ever again.

We were told one price for surgery and it was $300 more. Turned out we didn't even need the surgery! And since it didn't work the vet wanted us to do it again and said this time we'd only pay $500! We asked for an allergy test for my wifes dog and we were told thats not a thing. Brought my dog in for a check up and shots, vet never even touched my dog except to take blood, no once over, no eyes no teeth all he did was look in his ears and said he was fine. I asked if he was gonna check his teeth and his response was "Rottweilers don't normally let us look in their mouths"!!!! I asked the vet tech if the vet was coming back to check his eyes and she told me he did already to which I replied "no he didn't! My dogs head was between my legs he couldn't possibly have seen them!" She said if the vet had felt their was an issue he would have looked! My dog is a rottweiler yes, however they didn't give him a chance to show his personality off. He's never growled or showed aggressive behavior towards them or anyone else so there was zero need to not examine him. They also don't tell you when you book an appointment that they have an office cat that just wanders around freely. Which should be told incase you have an animal/cat aggressive dog to prevent any problems. They never told my wife she found out when the cat walked up to her dog! Not smart. Definitely won't be going back. The staff are extremely rude and unprofessional that was my first and last visit to that vet. Sucks because its so close. Its also double the cost of our regular vet. We got the exact same medication after surgery for my wife's dog and here they charged us $86! Our regular vet charges $14 for the exact same medication, same dose same amount everything. Save your money and go to a vet in the country. They have way more experience, are way cheaper and much friendlier.

People seem nice but the clinic is disgusting. Smells really bad as soon as you walk in and is very disorganized. I was told when I booked the appointment that a nail trim was $12 and when I got there they said they don't offer the service due to covid but they can do it for $55. The WORST THING is there was BLOOD AND FUR stuck to the exam table as seen in photos. This was before our exam. I asked the vet and he said they wipe the tables but they missed it. This please is not clean by any means and you might want to get vaccinated after going it is important to spend time to make sure the place is clean. Animals could lick things and pick up all kinds of issues from something like this. Not impressed.

The care I received was absolutely excellent. He performed a thorough physical exam, was kind and gentle, honest, didn’t coerce me into running every test, and gave me time to ask questions. I’ve had bad experiences with other clinics, I have difficulty trusting vets, and I work in healthcare so I can tell when practitioners are cutting corners or padding the bill. Not this clinic, I trust this vet completely, which is such a relief!

Went here when i noticed my cat losing weight and walking funny. The vet did a blood test and couldnt get a urine sample. It was $250 for the exam amd blood work. Went back the bext day and got the results of the blood test and found out my girl was having kidney failure. The vet wanted to put her through a urine test anyway even he knew that i would have to put her down. Tldr; if you like your pet and money dont go here. Go to Firth. Theyre amazing.

The only reason our cat is alive today is because of Dr Mor. Sure, maybe he wasn't as soft with our Mia as other vets, but he definitely knew what he was doing and he helped us get through the weekend when the only other alternative was very unreasonable at the 24h emergency clinic. Our regular family vet sent us with a dehydrated kitty now in kidney distress to the emergency clinic at the end of their day. This wasn't the first time our cat had eaten something she shouldn't have, but the first time it started to become critical outside regular hours. After realizing the unreasonable markup at the 24h emergency clinic and being turned down by other vets to do the needful - Dr. Mor set us up to care for our cat over the weekend and she quickly started to recover. The x-rays show she's passing the object and might not even need surgery anymore, where she would have surely died of dehydration and kidney failure over the weekend had we not had his reasonable help.

My puppy had parvo and was on her last legs. If it wasnt for the vet tech we wouldve had no hope. She told us that home care was possible and less expensive. So the vet walked us through what to do and was there for us every time we called with a concern or called just for reassurance that we were doing the right thing. Our puppy made it through and is happy and healthy. He never over charges us or suggests things that they really dont need. He and his team are the best we have ever had!!!! He is a true animal lover and cares about the owners as well.????

Dr. Mor and his staff are nothing but understanding and accommodating. They do not pressure you to make certain choices and will always advise you of what's in the best interest of your pet. They are also very affordable, and do not shame you if you don't feel comfortable giving a certain vaccine or medication. I am able to book next-day appointments fairly often. I never thought my dog would pull towards an animal hospital, she loves seeing everyone and for that I am very grateful!!

Took my dog in for a service, I was told by our groomer and other vets, if the animal is up to date I should only be charged for the service and not an exam. My dog is up to date, she was there in the summer for her shots and yearly exam. Yet they still charged me for an exam!! When I questioned them I was told it's up to the vet. I am shocked and disappointed this office would take advantage and charge a fee that we wouldn't have been charged elsewhere. All in all I ended up paying almost $80 for something that took them less than 5 mins and should have only cost me max $25.

I had a totally positive experience. this was an emergency visit as my Vet is on vacation. He was very considerate towards my dogs condition, kneeled down to my dogs level for assessment plus test. Informed verbally as well visually of what he found & concerns of incidental findings. The fact that I was a not his regular client , but with emergency needs, an appointment was made the same day I called. I consider my dog to have been blessed to have had this experience. The Doctor here is the least helpful person ever. I cabbed all the way here from downtown, and then he basically said I need to do THREE expensive tests on my cat to see what the problem was. When I asked which would be the best to start with if I cant do all three and he just said all three are important. He wouldn't even do anything to help her that day and told me to come back during the week. I work during the week, and paid $80.00 in cabs that day.

Heather (receptionist) was great at beginning to set up the profile for Sia. Unfortunately this clinic does not treat pitbull crosses and refuses to treat her or recommend someone who may. Really crazy how certain breeds of dogs (really just one) are being discriminated against by this clinic. I'm actually happy that they refused to treat her as the state of the clinic based off of their reviews seems to be lacking proper maintenance and cleaning procedures. I won't be taking my dog here because her breed has been 'banned' but you shouldn't take your dog here because they simply don't care about maintaining the cleanliness of the space your dog will be cared for in.

We have been going to this clinic since our dog was a puppy they are very nice, professional, and what I like most is the vet is very straight forward with his recommendations and diagnosises. He is also very reasonable with his base fee. The staff are all very nice and because they are a small practice they get to know you and remember you and your pets

I do genuinely believe that the Doctor that works at this hospital has absolutely no clue what he's doing. Ive brought my dog here for the past 4 years, and each appointment I go to I feel like the doctor doesnt care or do anything for my dog. My dog has an extremely terrible eye infection (mind you that it could have been prevented), and yet every time I went here the doctor would just prescribe eye drops. After spending hundreds of dollars on pointless eye drops, I decided to take my dog someplace else. Now that I've been to another doctor for the same issue, my dog has to have surgery to remove one eye. Not only have I had a TERRIBLE experience here but now I have to spend thousands of dollars on something that could have been prevented. I have heard terrible reviews on this hospital from the internet, and also close family and friends. Please to all the people who are thinking of bringing their pets here, don't. Save yourself and your pet the time and exhaustion and go somewhere else. (Also you're lucky I even gave you one star, you definitely don't deserve any).

Dr. Mor is a very kind and knowledgeable vet, with many many years of experience treating animals. He works with Animal Welfare Groups and is willing to try to assist people wherever he can. He does not charge outrageous rates, but rates that are fair, but costs of all vets are rising rapidly. We appreciate it when they can keep some costs down where possible.

She lived another 6 years after he took care of her to be 16 1/2 years old! My younger dog who hates a lot of people also likes him and he did a great job with her kidney issues!

I forgot my eye glasses so I asked reception to fill paperwork out for me. ..Well she didn't like that. ..so I remembered I had gone there b4 so I asked her to put my name in the computer. ..There I was so good that made her job easier. ..then I get placed in a room for 15min waiting. WTF are appointments for like really. ....Didn't walk out of there till 12.43pm????..if they were running late they should have said something. ..

I brought my 20 year old cat who's suffering there for a scheduled appointment to be euthanized. I had asked the day before when they called to confirm the appointment what the appointment consists of. I was told I would call the number to check in for the appointment and they would bring me in to examine my cat, do the procedure then discuss what would be done with his remains. Not once did they say I would have to go over every detail of why I'm putting him down. That I have to sit in the car and reiterate every detail that was already given when booking the appointment. Extremely unpleasant and unprofessional.

Good reviews, bad reviews. Everyone will have an experience only they can speak of. All I know is 10 years ago they handled the passing of my best friend with the utmost respect and care. So when I rescued a pug last night that had a terrible eye injury, they handled it with love and compassion. The doc cancelled his lunch to fit in an emergency eye removal. So if you ask me if he cares? Yes. He did today. If you ask me if he was expensive? I don’t know the answer. What defines “expensive” when it comes to a living animal? Remember, at the end of the day, we too are animals. If you want to hear my opinion? No he was not expensive. $733.00 for this surgery, all medication and the follow up. Nah. Not at all. 4 hours after surgery this little guy is home, healthy, eating and playing. He surely would have died from the terrible infection in his damaged eye if not for this surgery. So I’m grateful, I’m happy, and i will return. As long as this is the outcome of our visits to the clinic, we are good. No doubt.

Dr. Mor is thorough and kind. The office is rather busy though snd had to wait an extra 30 mins for my appointment. Staff are friendly and the office is clean and bright. They took me in twice as an emergency when stuff happened. I will call them again.
