I have been going here for years. They are incredibly caring and knowledgeable. I had to put down my 17 year old cat and it was very difficult. Even though they probably put animals down every week, they still recognized my experience as an individual. I highly recommend them.

I love the doctors and staff at this clinic. I adopted my chihuahua last June and started taking her there. After my experience I even switched my other dog who has been going to the same clinic for 8 years. The staff are amazing and very caring. They are genuine and you will feel like they care a lot about you and your fur babies. Recommend them to anyone who has animals.

Not particularly cat friendly care from my veterinarian here, but Loretta at reception was always wonderful and friendly. I took my cat here for about 15 years until I moved to another clinic. The difference in care was notable. Chinook did not appear to be comfortable or interested in helping my cat when he was sick and scared. Overall, I didnt know what kind of service and care I was not receiving from Chinook, until I attended somewhere else on the recommend of a friend, and received proactive advice and care that gave my sweet boy another 1.5 happy years before he passed. It was a remarkable difference. I regret not moving my cat’s care sooner.

My partner and I have been using Chinook Pet Clinic for the past 7 years or so, and we've never looked back! Both Dr. Bergen and Dr. Buntyn are fantastic veterinarians. I've always trusted them to diagnose my pets ailments properly. Along with great veterinarians, the support staff at Chinook Pet couldn't be better. Cary Anne comes to mind as one of our favourites. I wish I knew the names of the rest of the staff - you're all wonderful. Prices are fair and reasonable. Both veterinarians are quick to refer elsewhere for more complicated procedures, etc.

Got an email to confirm my appointment days ago. Nothing was said about needing a mask to come in to pay for my cats Vaccination. Then when the lady approached me at the door she told me i needed a mask to come in to pay. And if i didn't have one they would provide one at a charge. Even tho ive been in close contact with my cat, who obviously doesn't have a mask. And not to mention i was just about to pay over $100 for the vaccination. And bring him back 2 more time for Vaccination and nudder.

We just moved here from Calgary and have one docile cat and one difficult cat who becomes a little feral when we take her to the vet. The vet and tech here were amazing with her. They properly and gently restrained her for her shots and check up and were pretty outstanding in her treatment, where Calgary vets have denied treatment and caused injury. It is wonderful to know that such skilled people will look after my beautiful, angry girl!

First we waited in the parking lot for an hour...their posted times are incorrect, we went to Chinook as they opened the earliest. Brought in our pup as a precaution as we thought he had eaten something we thought could be harmful. We were turned away as they are NOT interested in new customers as we were told that their resources are for their established clients only. These other reviews are obviously established clients as they could not have cared less for our pets health or discomfort.

After 15 years at this clinic, my senior dog and I were treated with condescension and aggression! Due to Covid, I was not allowed in the exam room so when Dr Whytney came out to speak to me, I had no idea who she was and she never took even a moment to introduce herself! My 16 yr old dog was also left alone in the exam room after her exam scratching at the door. After paying my bill, I had my dog's file transferred to another clinic.

Chinook Pet Clinic has been my families vet for over 20 years of not longer. They are so amazing to our dogs and our dogs love them. What I love the most is that they are always a call away and will get your hurt pet in as soon as possible. I would strongly recommend anyone to this vet. I don’t even live in Lethbridge anymore and they are still my vet for my puppy.
