First I saw one vet (unfortunately didn't catch his name) and absolutely did not enjoy our visit. His assumption was that Dobermans are aggressive and just the way he handled my dog wasn't nice. Front desk weren't too welcoming either and there was lack of communication. After I got a call from Dr Aulakh and he was really nice but my first experience wasn't too pleasant.

Dr. Dunlap is amazing. You will have to be patient as she tends to run late for most of her appointments but once you have her in the room she is fully engaged. She never makes you feel rushed and is extremely patient. She has helped me work with my dog to manage her anxiety and territorial aggression. I can't reccomend her enough for dealing with dogs that have behavioural issues.

Dr Aulakh is fantastic. I had been to many other clinics with a dog who has always had constant visits to the vet. He takes his time explains to you the issues and doesn't just jump to medication to fix the pet. I definitely will advise anyone to try his clinic for anyone who doesn't just want to be rushed back out the door.

Came in with my dog having blood in his Urin. Dr. Aulakh took his time to go every step and every test he wanted to do as well as a treatment plan. I felt confident to leave my dog there for a while for the tests and knew he would be treated right. Dr Aulakh really took my worry as he made sure I understood every step. He also was very gentle with my dog. And while I paid A LOT of money, at least I know now he's fine. Thanks

Went to the Fleetwood veterinarian clinic yesterday, and Dr. Denise was Amazing with my dogs. My chihuahuas can be very hard to handle at the best of times, but she exceeded my expectations. So glad I chose to go here in the first place.

I have been taking my furbaby to Dr Dunlap for 5 years now and could not recommend her more. Though I’ll admit, a bit of a wait sometimes, but that is because she takes the same amount of time with each patient, never rushing and always caring about your pets wellbeing. It has been refreshing to find a vet who truly loves their job, loves the animals (as if they were her own) and who is extremely informative with a wealth of knowledge, always willing to share and educate whilst never trying to sell you anything you don’t need. I can’t speak enough good things about her, sincerely If you’re looking for a new vet, give them a call. Your pet will thank you

It has been well over three weeks since I first tried to get my cat into see Dr. Dunlap; but it never happened because I have been given the run around, ignored, and disrespected by the front desk clerk repeatedly who promises to return my call every single time I call, and NEVER does. Today I had to euthanize my cat because of an escalation in her symptoms over the past month, without ever having the chance to see the holistic vet. Honestly, I don't see how this technician/receptionist can sleep at night. Not only is she unprofessional and uncaring, she is negligent and thoroughly unreliable. I cannot review the doctor, having never met her, but her staff is just horrible! Avoid the aggravation, and seek out another holistic vet, no matter how far you must travel if you can.

Probably the best Vet in BC. Dr. Dunlap is very knowledgable and takes the time to listen and ask questions. She does not push meds or vaccinations and looks for alternative more natural ways to help. I initially visited because my dog was out of control with fear aggression. He is now a calm, sweet, loving dog thanks to her help. Have patience when visiting as she takes her time with everyone and you might have to wait. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Dunlap and her staff to anyone.

I have been taking my pooch there for 10 years. He is a dachshund/Pomeranian whose afraid of EVERYONE. Yet when I bring him in and hand him off to the staff he's completely fine. I always feel like he's being well looked after.

EDITED TO ADD: Since posting my original 1-Star review, I've learned that Dr. Dunlap retired at the end of April amidst the (big) issues I was having, hence the terrible follow-up after some serious mistakes. I've since had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Aulakh (the new owner) and his team and they've gone way above and beyond to make things right (even though the errors/failures weren't their fault). Excellent, excellent service. [Original Review: All of the good Google Reviews were a big motivator in my visiting Fleetwood Vet. Whoops! Not sure if my 0-star experience was due to front office ineptitude or a vet who (turns out) didn't care, but bad luck for me - a waste of time, money, and no closer to a resolution for my dog. There are lots of other wonderful vet clinics in the Fraser Valley. Give this one a hard-pass.]

I have been taking all my dogs to Dr D for 15 years, since we moved here with one bull terrier. After she passed and we had more dogs, we had one bullmastiff with severe skin issues and digestive problems. She didn't push vet food, rather did what was best for him. He couldn't take antibiotics so found different things to manage his illness many of them holistic. She came to my home when he had to be put down because at 150 lbs I couldn't get him to her clinic. This was 12 days before he passed, he went in for acupuncture which I'm sure gave him an extra two years of life. All my dogs enjoyed going there, she even treated the most difficult one who had to be sedated even for a bath and nails. We sometimes had to wait but as others have said we received undivided attention once we were inside. We followed her from Fleetwood to her present location. I never hesitate to recommend Dr D.

Dr. D. is amazing. We have had some scary Vets in the past. But since we've been taking our little guy to her...he's been the picture of health and not only that she is so great with pets. Shes friendly and warm and has a kind and loving manner. The animals feel that and aren't as stressed when visiting, neither are the human parents LOL. Dr. D is really a wonderful caring and knowledgeable Veterinarian. Thank you for all you are doing for our little guy.

Denise has been our only vet since before she opened he own practice 30+ years ago. She has provided excellent care to all our pets and takes the time to consider all treatment alternatives before deciding on the best course. We have complete trust in her, and in Jen, the tech. We recently moved from the area and saying goodbye to Denise was one of our true regrets in moving. Highly reccommended!

Dr. Dunlap is a veterinarian that takes her time with you and your beloved furbaby. She is courteous, polite, and her mind works in a different way than a typical doctor. She thinks outside of the box. She understands both western medicine and traditional medicines and this is a definite asset I think. If you would prefer to go the western medicine route she has no qualms with that. But if you are open to other natural alternatives then she is very knowledgeable in this route too. My only issue is that the wait time is quite lengthy. But I've come to realize that is because she takes her time with her patients. She observes. She listens. And she thinks. But don't expect this to be a quick trip to the docs.

Dr. Dunlap is an amazing veterinarian. She is the only vet I trust with my pet. She is very thoughtful, cautious, and caring. She always keeps herself up to date with current research and explains things to you thoroughly. She is not quick to prescribe unnecessary medications or prescription diets and is open to both conventional and holistic practices. She is also one of the very few vets I have met who is actually knowledgable about animal nutrition and can consult on home-made diets. I'm very happy with the care that she has provided for my pets.

Dunlap has retired! Not going to lie, I tried a few other vets in a area due to Dunlaps appointment wait times. After my poor experiences with the other vets. I decided to book with Fleetwood anyways because my puppy had some ongoing skin issues. I booked an appointment (for the next day) with one of the two new veterinarians and she was great. After completing a thorough exam (which is not easy on a 100lbs Bullmastiff puppy) she came outside to speak to me face to face. She found a heart issue (which was never previously addressed with Fleetwood) and you could tell she was very concerned about the issue. Luckily I was previously made aware of the issue (by the breeder) and I took my pup to the specialist a week prior. She appeared to be very relived and we continued on the skin issues. She did testing on site to determine what infection he had and was able to provide the appropriate medication and ear drops. I was very impressed as 2 other vets in area weren't able to detect the heart issue even after being informed.. I will defiantly be returning!

I enjoyed bringing my animals to Dr. dunlop because i am not all for the traditional veterinary practice. She is modern, open to new ideas and nature treatment. She is a true Dr. She saved my cats life after a previous vet recommended a dental cleaning, yet dr dunlop Diagnosed a bad respitory infection that would have put her at serious risk during surgery. She doesnt pressure vaccines. She listens to you. Her staff are calm and nurturing. Her clinic is very clean. She brough comfort to my mother and her terminal 4 year old cat. She referred my dog and i for an ortho knee brace and she has done fantastic. Thank you dr dunlop.
