Our 14 yr old shitzu mix just had her teeth appointment for Dental Month. As she is older, bloodwork was done first and it came up not normal. She ended up being ok to get her teeth done, love that she was checked thoroughly first. She came home in great condition, and I just got off the phone for her follow up call 24 hours later. Dr. Dolphin certainly has the perfect team. Highly, highly recommend.

Can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Dolphin and the entire staff. They don't upsell unnecessary procedures and they treat our animals with so much love and care. I just had to bring in our dog after a horrible accident with her cutting herself on barbed wire. They got us in right away and treated her so well. They were just amazing. I was a wreck and they were all so kind and loving towards my girl. I'm so so thankful to them.

Not impressed in the end unfortunately. My dog was misdiagnosed as well his last visit a severe ear infection was missed . Treated for an infection "somewhere" though he had Edema in his legs.

They are literally the worst they do do you not care about your dog they just want the money dolphin do not recommend it after getting my dog neutered they didn’t give you a cone so I had to go to Petsmart and go buy one and was pretty good price but really expensive and then after I came home my dog had an infection and then I had to take him to a different vet and he wasn’t and then he got a really bad infection he wasn’t feeling good after

I was referred here by my regular vet after they didn't have any same day appointments available for me to bring in my cat who'd cut his face open that morning. I Loved the no pressure, direct, & informative approach from Dr. Dolphin. Most vets seem to either try to guilt or scare you into procedures for your pets, but not this place. Actually considering switching from my regular vet to this place even though its further from my house. (Have since switched to them) Then 2 weeks later we took our pug here who'd had major stank issues and Dr Lau at all about animals clinic had basically given up ideas on treating her, and Dr Dolphin walks in and is like, "oh she smells yeasty" and does a test and yup yeast infection. Just like that, and 2 days of anti yeast meds later she is already much better. Like, geez. This guy knows his stuff!

We have been customer's of Dolphin Vet Services for 18 years now, originally using him for our families 4-H animals on our hobby farm and now these days for our cats and dogs. I am, by nature, very analytical, maybe annoyingly so. I need time and latitude to do my own research on products and services before I feel comfortable making long term decisions. The staff at DVS have been good at giving me the background information on products and then the patience to allow me to ask questions and do my own research before making a decision. I even called them 5 times in the period of 2 days while looking into pet insurance companies. We have a service dog (still a pup in training) and the stakes feel a lot higher than they have ever been with our family pets; we have a lot of resources invested in Finn. If we were in a position where a decision was needed to be made for Finn in an emergency situation, I would feel comfortable giving Dr. Dolphin the autonomy to do whatever he felt best without expecting that he consult with us. To me, this is the true litmus test of your trust in someone's ability to look after a loved one in a crisis moment.

Our pup is only a year and half but has had a few issues in that time. We started coming here when he was about 7 months old and they’re great! I find it’s hard to trust someone with your pup and I completely trust them! I have seen them treat my dog like one of their own! Highly recommend!

After leaving our cat with Dolphin Veterinary we are very concerned. We feel for her semi annual grooming session she was not properly taken care of by staff, with her not receiving the proper care due. This is includes her not being sedated for the procedure, in spite of us requesting and paying for her to be sedated as well. Finding my poor cat in her own refuse, frightened in a metal kennel far away from the crate she came in and is familiar with, with a subpar grooming was absolutely horrifying, and something I would never expect from this staff. With the lead veterinarian saying they repeatedly antagonized my cat by "trying to get her out of there" I feel safe in saying we will be looking for another veterinarian in the future. Very disappointing to see from a staff I held in such high regard.

I was nervous at first because they were not my regular vet and wasn't sure of what to expect. They were however top of the list of recommended vets from my vet so that was relieving. I found it to be a great experience. Dr. Dolphin was very nice and polite, very good at explaining everything that he could or would do for my cat as well, going through possible solutions and probable ailments. Heather at the front desk was great too, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't get the name of the Assistant that was there but she too was great! She was very gentle and very caring, which was great to see. Cheers all around!

Dr. Dolphin is not kind. He makes me feel uncomfortable with his attitude. He doesn’t care about anything but money. Never smiled. The receptionists….couple of them are a little nicer but most of them has an attitude as well. The only reason we went here was because my mother in law recommended us, she said she heard good thing about this vet ( I don’t even know how people have good thing to say about this vet) and it was close to our home. We just had our puppy spayed and my husband came home without a cone! A cone is not that expensive! So I had to run to PetSmart to get it. My husband said the receptionist told him WE ONLY NEED THE CONE IF THE PUPPY LICK AND SCRATCH THE WOUND. BUT THE POINT OF HAVING A CONE IS TO PREVENT THAT?????? And my husband said as soon as he walked in the clinic, he got a bad vibe and all the receptionist cared about was money.

Every time I take my two little dogs here I know they are safe, they are taken care of and they come back smelling like they have been cuddled....I know it seems odd but it makes me feel so calm knowing they are taken care of so well. The staff here took multiple xrays and assured they looked fine and said it must be ligament damage upon going to the specialtist at boundary bay who I had to wait over a month to see who informed me he had a broken tibia the whole time and it is now to late to operate as it is healed and the growth plate is out of place, the fact they missed this injury has cost him a bad leg and a bad future.

Took my dog to get neutered here because I had heard lots of rave reviews about Dr. Dolphin from multiple different people. The experience I had here was awful. When I came to pick up my dog they said they didn't give cones after the procedure because "most dogs don't need one"... I had to buy one from PetSmart which wasn't a huge issue, but within 24 hours of having my dog home and following all their care directions it was obvious that he had gotten an infection from the surgery. He was running an extremely high fever as well. I took him in (on a Friday morning) because I was worried and the staff said they were booked solid but could perform "emergency" surgery on Monday morning, and that it would cost upwards of $900 depending on what they needed to do. It's worth noting at this point his surgery site was swollen and filled with blood and pus internally, and was oozing out. Worried I called another local vet (Murrayville Animal Hospital) and the vet said he would take him immediately and perform the surgery as soon as I could get there (He also quoted HALF of what Dolphin was charging). He ended up not needing the surgery and with the procedure (the wall of surgery site had not been reattached properly and that was causing blood to drip into where the scrotum was), medications, and fees I spent less than $250 instead of $900+ and my dog got seen RIGHT AWAY. I believe if I had waited for Dolphin he likely would have gone septic and gotten even worse or even died. They were willing to let my dog go home with a huge mass in his scrotum and a high fever, oozing blood because the soonest they could do an "emergency" surgery was three days later.

I have a dog that has had anxiety issues since a puppy, she's hated going to every other vet. She's actually excited to go to this one. They take care of the owners, by being honest and sincere, and they also take great care of our loved animals. I would strongly recommend them to anyone in the Langley area.
