I had to bring my beautiful 12 yr old lab to Brookswood vet after he was misdiagnosed at my regular vet . Dr Carrey was wonderful. She immediately found Bently had a severe ear infection as well as edema which the previous vet did not diagnose . He was also suffering from spondoloisis and suspected cancer . Dr Carrey spent time with us and explained everything in detail. Bently wasn't doing well and I knew the time was close . Dr Carrey was kind and gentle and I knew I had to let him go soon . I made the decision to have her come to my house the following week . She and Aleta were so caring and respectful . They were both very gentle with Bently and gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye to my boy . I'm so grateful that his end was with these caring ladies and at home. The staff at Brookswood are all so kind and respectful. Avalon was especially wonderful to me which was very appreciated .

They even sent my house a welcoming card commenting on how it was a joy to have a such a handsome dog come into their clinic. I will always be coming back here and everyone should be as well. I don't typically write reviews but I was very impressed with this vet. cat got really sick Not only did they agree to taking the cat 1/2 hour before closing, but she broke down my options. Showing me the prices and explaining without making me feel guilty for letting my cat get so sick. She sent me home with a care package and after a week he is practically himself again. All the staff seemed friendly as well.

I was dismayed with another vet clinic when I called to ask for an idea on cost of correcting an eye issue for my pup. I could only talk to the vet receptionist who kept telling me I would have to come in so they could look at it and then give me an estimate. I told them they had already diagnosed it there a few weeks earlier. No dice, the wanted us to come in and have him checked AGAIN so that they could charge me another vet visit fee. I called Brookswood Vet Clinic and spoke to the receptionist and explained my situation. She asked me to hold on and next thing I knew I was speaking to Dr Marlow. I told him what the issue was and he told me to come in the next day and he would have a look and wouldn't charge me for the visit. He was true to his word. Since the our pup developed another condition that we are in the midst if treating. Again, Dr Marlow and the staff have been great. DR Marlow takes his time to fully explain things so that we are clear on his diagnosis and treatment plan. So impressed!

Dr. Marlow and Dr. Machine are honestly a breath of fresh air. Having exotic animals isn't easy, finding a good vet for them is a headache. Dr. Marlow is always great with my ferrets. He's honestly one of the better vets that specializes in them. He knows what he's talking about and isn't afraid to admit when he's not 100% sure on a treatment. I couldn't reccomend him enough. He's also seen one of my dogs and did really great with him too! Machine is also wonderful! She's my usual for both my dogs (Jindo Akita mix & Shiba Inu Jindo mix) and is great! One of my boys has some anxiety with being in the office and she's always goes above and beyond to make him more comfortable. She treats them as if they were her own pets and is always a pleasure to be around. Overall, I highly reccomend Brookswood. The staff is always friendly and very helpful, the vets are knowledgable, trustworthy and kind hearted, the place itself is always clean and very inviting, but most importantly, they've never tried to upsell me on treatments that aren't neccessary and have always did their best to accommodate me, my budget and my time. There's a reason why I've stuck with them even after moving an hours way out!

The wonderful staff at Brookswood allowed me to do my observation report for college at their location with very short notice. It was a huge favor for me due to deadlines and speaks volumes about the transparency they operate with (no pun intended) regarding the animals at their location. They are absolute angels with the pets in their care; keeping them well fed, hydrated, stimulated with positive interactions that calm them & monitoring the animals vitals in a way that just feels very very right. No kitten is too small for them, & no fat cat is too fat. Cats do amazingly well here and seem to be very playful given that the care and environment is designed to not stress the animals. I didnt see any upset cats during my visit. You can actually rest assured if you have a large dog that needs sedation that he will be properly lifted (if needed to lift), that he will be given the right amount of attention and quiet time after sedation meaning your dog wont come home a shaking mess who doesnt understand what just happened. Your dog will actually be recieving quite possibly the best animal care in all of B.C. if not Canada as a whole. Its important because vet visits aren't a one time thing and it shouldn't be stressing your animals out to see a veterinarian. They practice completely up-to-date surgical, dental, intubation & after care techniques that we are actually learning about in school & I can easily say after having met the vets who work here that if you have an animal who you really care about and want him or her to get the best chance with what they're going through, or if you want your pet to just be getting the top quality of care then you should make the drive and see for yourself how amazing a great veterinarian can be for your pets quality of life and your peace of mind

Really happy with everything that i have had done there. They are professional and do what needs to be done in a timely manner. Sometimes it isn't always going to be a happy visit but i know that my pets are getting the best treatment that they deserve. highly recommend to anyone that wants the best for their animals.

Purchased a new Doberman Pinscher. We took her here, as she was puking lots and seemed lethargic. We were worried about parvo. The vet ran tests, said she was fine, just dehydrated. Our pup, jewels, continued to act lethargic. We took her to get a second opinion from another vet, turns out she did have parvo. Jewels passed away a day later.

Brookswood Veterinary has always treated my fur babies like family. When I had to put my dog down they were very understanding and did not make me feel rushed in my goodbyes. They welcomed my two new fur babies with open arms and promptly arranged All blood work and a cardiologist for my male who was born with a heart defect. I always feel at ease leaving them in their care because I know they are in good hands. The vets and techs are all very knowledgeable and caring. The best care you could possibly ask for. The absolute best vet clinic in the lower mainland! Hands down. There's lots of wonderful, caring people out there but these guys are consistently gentle and sweet with both my animals and their sometimes emotional fur mama. Never once been over charged for anything, always impressed to see the care they give for such a reasonable cost. Dr. Marlow even came in on Christmas Day one year to care for my injured ferret, and didn't even charge me for holiday hours. Tearing up just thinking about how much they mean to me! Can't recommend them enough!

They offer opinions based on experience and options for treatment instead of pushing baseline blood tests every time something is wrong with our pooch (which is pretty well every month).

I have recently moved to Brookswood and have heard many great things about Brookswood Vet Hospital. My 6 year old Pomchi, George, has been to various vet offices around Langley and this is hands down the best and our most favourite. You can tell by the way George is not scared or anxious when visiting Brookswood vet or coming out from being looked at which he has been in the past at other vet offices. I attribute this to the genuine loving care that is provided to him here. You can tell this vet office really cares about their furry patients. This clinic is great - long established business which sold to a younger vet who was already part of the team. Dr Carey has brought new energy and ideas to the practice - while maintaining the service and care that makes you feel heard and understood - like your pet really matters! Does matter if it's a regular check up- or a critical health issue - you always get 120% of their attention.
