All I can say is that I really don’t know what I would do without Dr. Lau. He is magic. He is such an incredibly experienced and gifted Veterinarian, and he always knows exactly what to do when any of my dogs have health issues, thus extending their lives well beyond the average life expectancy of a dog. I am so grateful to know him...THE VERY BEST THERE IS!

Had my dog euthanized here on June 12/2021 was told ashes would be back the following week. Call on Thursday June 17 still no ashes delivered and when I complained they had the nerve to tell me to call cremation company. I paid $227.80 for this cremation service and they want ME to call the company. Will NEVER go to this vet again. Total disrespect. Just get the money and run is their motto.

We have so much love and gratitude for the team at All About Pets. After visiting numerous unspectacular and indifferent vet clinics, we found All About Pets. Dr.Lau has been fantastic, knowledgeable, thorough and practical. Dr. Julia showed us and our kitty incredible compassion in navigating various issues, exploring solutions, and eventually with hard decisions. Sadly we ended up having to put our cat down. I heard great things about Dr. Lau prior to going and seeing him. I got in the vet room and got a lecture about a human ailment and treatment for myself if I had a tick rather than my dog and then instead was told it's rare in dogs. I went in for sores under my dogs tail (that concerned me it could be tick related since we just came back from a trip in california). Nowhere was the tail even remotely inspected. I was quickly told it was a puncture wound....how would that be possible if my dog is always closely with me with no attack to her from an animal???? I was told what I already knew about the leg. I left feeling like I didn't understand what I paid money for. When I returned home I saw my dog licking again under her tail and I inspected even more. Her entire underneath area of her tail is a bright red. It's inflamed and she has multiple sores up her back part of tail. I don't get how u just returned from the vet and this was not inspected properly. I still have no advice as to what those sores are, whether tick related, hot spots or something else.... what treatment is needed??? I now have made another call to find a good vet who can actually look at this properly rather than lecturing me and spouting information off that's unrelated while my dog continues to have sores up her tail. I was not impressed after hearing such great things.

Dr. Lau is the best vet ever! He truly cares for my dogs, and provides the best treatments for my dogs. He is also very experience too. I took my dog to the emergency once and the doctor wanted to do all these tests, put my dog on IV, and make him stay over night at the hospital. The next day, we took him to Dr. Lau, and he was able to diagnose by just the symptoms and behavior. Gave us the medication and my dog got all better! He is very experienced and does not try to rip you off. A doctor I could trust.

Recently we had to make a difficult decision to put our dog down. Dr Surbey was working for Dr Lau that day. Very fast testing and call-back with a quick recommendation. Made the young puppy feel safe and unafraid. Gave us treats for the puppy. :-) Did very well given the COVID limitations. Quick work. Nice vet and assistants/office folks. Only 4 start becasue it was our first visit so I can't really know if the service is consistent and excellent. But it was great so far for this very simple first visit.

No follow ups or check ups after my puppy got spayed. Dr. Lau didnt even meet us or talk to us at all. The staff was nice but a bit messy with the explanations. In the end she just sent us home with a sheet of paper of notes and medications. I don’t understand how this place is rated 4.7 stars… it is at best 3 stars.

Got a reminder in mail to do a vaccination for my dog. I called the clinic and asked if we can do it ourselves, since our dog has a behavioral issues and anxiety being in the vehicle and visiting a vet clinic (after 3 surgeries), which makes it impossible to bring him in (we live in Maple Ridge). It's a very simple procedure and all we need is the vaccine, not extra headache and stress. They simply refused because it is not recommended. No any further explanation... I am ready to sign whatever that I won't hold them responsible. Simply terrible attitude and refusal to understand another person's situation. One star 100%. P.S. by the way when my dog was badly injured, they also refused a surgery because they don't do emergencies.

The staff were friendly, the place was clean. Overall, I was not pleased with the service and I won't be coming back. I got unsound advice from the vet, especially considering he saw how reactive my dog was. He told me to force the medicine down her throat whole as opposed to crushing it, which I could have done, just that it was not the preferred method. Also, he did not mention a major side effect that one of the prescribed medications had.
