I'm from Vancouver and have been to Hemlock, Kerrisdale, Main Street and even Edmonds Animal Hospitals for my dog. Edmonds is pretty good, but Townline is by far the best for service, expertise, and price. They do only what is necessary and tell you the price for each option beforehand. Definitely worth the drive! Dr. Macquisten is a dog whisperer.

Best vet i have ever been to , i was frantic with my frenchie going into labour with only 1 pup as x ray showed. My vet in poco wouldnt c section her at 62 days and insisted i give her a try to whelp naturally .. Again the puppy is a singleton and showed up to be large in x ray. They also wouldnt schedule me until 64th day.. Needless to say she started first stage of labour at 61days and temp dropping by 62nd day and she was shaking ... I had no where to go called a couple vets no one would take me in last min for c section as their day was booked up . My friend told me about Townline and i called with my concern and immediately they made time for me to come in. The Dr was fantastic and extremely informative as well as compassionate . I girl got a c section and they did a fantastic job with caring for her and the new puppy. Thankyou so much for taking me in at my time of distress and caring for my girl so well. I have found my new vet and will recommend your clinic to everyone. Also ladies at the front desk your awesome ????.... One more thing .. The prices are very very reasonable if not on the lower side .

I actually wanted to take the time to write about my experience briefly. I needed to get my bearded dragon a checkup and the price was completely worth it. After taxes, $72 for an exam. Dr. Ken Macquisten was very knowledgeable and attentive. Addressed all of my concerns and gave great feedback. He really put my worries to rest. The staff overall were very friendly. Really glad I have a vet doctor for the future. Plus they were able to give me an appointment a couple days after I called to book it. Most reptile vets don’t take new clients. Highly recommend these people

Townline vet are seriously angels to me. They did my girl roxys dental surgery successfully not one issue. And today they removed a tumor in a very horrible spot and my baby girl is doing amazing. I feel like they have saved her life not once but twice now and not only hers but mine too. Roxy is my whole world I can't imagine living life without her and the staff are so caring and kind and truly know what they're doing. It is also very affordable. Roxy and I are so lucky to have them!! Thank you Townline Vet!!

I cannot say enough good things about Townline Veterinary. The staff are absolutely wonderful, you can tell that they truly care about their clients and are not just there for the paycheck. The best part is that when your pet goes into the examination room you are given a tablet so that you are in a zoom meeting with the doctor as she examines you pet, it's just like being in the room too.

I have had to bring all of my pets ( which are a bird, cats and a dog) to Townline Veterinary hospital in the last few years, for different reasons. And two of them were emergency cases. Townline Vet has been amazing in providing care for my guinea pig! With any urgent concerns they are able to accommodate me the same day, and this has happened multiple times. They are also great over the phone and email to check in or look at pictures since I don't live in Abbotsford. Every staff member I have encountered has been kind, patient and you can tell they all truly care for the animals. All the vets are so knowledgeable and they have provided excellent care. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

Made me wait 30 minutes for my first appointment. 30 minute + and I was still waiting. I left as I had to go to work. This was an appointment for shots for my cat. Would have taken less than ten minutes. No apology. Just too unprofessional. I do not recommend this place. I wish I could give it negative stars

I do think that is probably a great Veterinary Hospital but I called to get prices and I was shocked to hear the prices. We are going to Allwest Animal Hospital at Yale Court in Abbotsford. We live in the west end of Abbotsford and so thought going to a closer Veterinary Hospital would be good. I was shocked to hear that they charge $64.75 for a full exam the first time and the subsequent office visits are $50. Wow. We pay $24 at Allwest and a basic vaccination is $10.45 where as Vacations are from $20 to $50 here. Sorry but this is unreasonable no matter how good your Veterinary Hospital is. Check the prices folks. They are supper friendly, have great hours and the Veterinarian is very kind and gentle. So we are not moving to this Townline Veterinary Hospital just based on price and the hours are not as flexible for someone who works full time. Thanks anyway :(

I was looking for a new vet and Dr. MacQuisten had come very highly recommended by my family. I have to honestly say that our first visit with Dr. MacQuisten was phenomenal. He went over and above on our visit. Everything was clearly explained and the fact that you have a tablet to interact with him while your pet is in the exam room is perfect. I never feel pressured into anything with this clinic, I always feel my animal's best interest is at heart and am always given all the options and information up front :) caring office ladies/assistants as well! Never feel as comfortable anywhere else!

Was told to pick up our bunny at 4. pm. We got there shortly after, called in and waited. And waited. After 40 minutes, we called in again. Oops we forgot about you we were told. Got bunny, paid and left. Then when we almost home, they called and said they forgot to give us his meds. Another 15 min drive back. Unprofessional.

Dr. Drew is the best. He doesn't fuss over things and has a wonderful calm energy and dry sense of humour. All the vet assistants are incredibly friendly and helpful. I brought my cat in recently and it took a good while to take a blood sample from her and the vet assistant was so sweet and loving to kissa. You obviously expect people that work with animals, to love the animals. But seeing it in front of me really warmed my heart and made me even more confident and comfortable with everyone there. Best vet hospital!!! Dr. Ken Macquisten is very kind, caring, attentive & progressive to the needs of our little dog. You can tell that he is passionate about animals. Our little dog has been struggling with skin issues for years. At the first visit Dr. Ken offered an immediate solution and within days our dog was feeling better & more comfortable! During Covid restrictions, they come out and take your pet in for treatment, but provide you with a tablet so you can watch the treatment from your car and talk to the vet. They were very quick in diagnosing Ernie 65 yr old blue gold macaw. We found out he had a enlarged heart! We talked about putting him on drugs to prolong his life. He wouldn't be getting any better!! He was only getting worse. We all though it would be better for him not to suffer! Ernie was a rescued, he adopted us and we had him for a lovely 25 years. Dr. Macquisten is an angel, and hands-down the best veterinarian you could possibly take your animals to see. He is brilliant in his care and has a wonderful bedside manner. Never has his hand on the door knob, and I feel that all of the staff at the clinic actually do really care about my dog. Prices at this clinic are also phenomenal, but the care you and your pet will receive will be the best thing about your visit. He has taken care of my very best friend in the whole wide world for years now, performed surgery, and provided advice and wonderful follow-up care as well. The best vet ever I brought my cat there because she had a huge hard hairball that she could not poop out and she did not eat or drink water for 2 weeks the first vet I took her to just wanted to put her down or charge me 8,000 for surgery so I took her to townline vet and they were caring and knew how to save her for only 400 they saved her life and I can't thank them enough I will never go anywhere else they truly care
