My pup can be nervous around vets. Dr Hodges was so great with him, got down to his level and gave him treats - by the end of the appt my dog was cuddling up to him and giving him kisses. He was knowledgeable, understanding, and didn’t try to find issues that would cost me more. Their prices are very fair, the staff is kind and gentle, and I couldn’t recommend them more!

Very good veterinary clinic. All the staff have been beyond professional, caring, and helpful. I have 3 little chihuahuas that all go to this clinic including my 13 year old girl who has a large heart murmur but thanks to the excellent care she is receiving, she’s doing better than I thought possible. I highly recommend Sylvan Lake Veterinary Clinic to anyone who owns and loves their pet, give them the best care possible!

Reliable and caring veterinary service here. Pet food is also sold at this location as well as dog dental treats and glucosamine for those aging joints. I have found the vets to be very caring, thorough and kind to my cat and dog. The records are well kept. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be a smile or friendly greeting from the front desk on entry. Open Mon-Friday only. They are compassionate and truly care about the health of your pets. They also perform blood tests and send blood away for allergy testing. They will follow up with you on phone or in person, as per your preference. I really appreciate the wonderful animal care offered from Sylvan Lake Veterinary Clinic!

Had to get our dog in for some infection issues and they got us in that same day. Very courteous front desk ladies, and the vet was great too. He took the time to explain what was going on with my dog and even had diagrams. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all to do more than what I had come to do. Thank you guys. The staff and veterinarians are wonderful here, they are very caring and very thorough with their services. They make sure that before u leave all of your questions and concerns are addressed. They go above and beyond to make sure you're pet is well taken care of and comfortable. During my puppy's parvo vaccine they brought out the treats (nutritious dog food) to help create a diversion, then the dr.held and comforted her afterwards, then the staff took her for a tour of the office so her memory of the facility would be a pleasant one as well. They gave my puppy such great care that I would definitely highly recommend them. Also, they do everything they can to accommodate your schedule, their service is absolutely wonderful!
