I am extremely pleased with the level of organization, attention to detail, and care that Glenview and staff have put into their clients and facility. Due to COVID-19, my regular vet was unable to re-schedule my 9 month old Australian Shepherd’s neuter for an earlier date. After sudden behavioural changes, it became very apparent that his neuter needed to be expedited to an earlier date. Glenview was/is responsive, professional and caring. Dr.Watson was thorough and knowledgeable regarding a collection of questions that I had prior to my puppy’s procedure. The receptionists, Cheryl G and Density we’re very helpful in making Watson and I’s transition to the clinic as smooth, as possible. Watson and I, appreciate everything that Glenview was able to do for us and we look forward to returning in the future!

I had to take my male cat in last week and the staff were amazing with him. Dr. Collis was gentle with the examination and gave me the answers I needed. He explained everything very well so I understood what was going on and the assistant was also very thorough in explaining what I needed to know. She gave me options for funding assistance if I needed it and they were willing to wait on the procedure so I could make sure I could afford it. I was given the price of anything that was necessary up front and was also given treatment options. There were no surprises at the end and they were all so nice. I will definitely be taking my pets here in the future.

Today our dear hen "Poppy" was not her usual self so we phoned around to find a Vet that would look at her. We have a small flock and Poppy was our first hen and was 5 years old, therefore precious to us. Glenview agreed to make time for her as we felt it was urgent. The staff including the Vet, I believe her name was Dr. Laura were amazing, compassionate and competent. It is maybe not the norm to look after a hen but they acted as if it was. Poppy is no longer with us as they told us her situation was not treatable. Thank you Glenview for treating her with such care and dignity.

Had my first visit here the other day, all the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They all made sure to come and visit the pup as well. Had a sick little puppy, and they were all super ok with his little messes, and cleaned it all up as well! Dr Gage was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and got my pup back on his feet as well as offering great advise. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

Incredibly expensive. It costs less for a person to stay overnight in a hospital than to leave your cat overnight at Glenview. For example, they did an unnecessary 5 minute checkup in the morning, that I didn't ask for, and added about $50 to the bill. The bill after my cat was there for 2 days was outrageous. They are all about the money.

Excellent care for small pets such as rodents. They were incredibly gracious when I needed to euthanize one of my rats. They offer take home burial, general cremation, and special cremation where you can take the ashes. They also do complimentary clay paw/foot prints. The vet and staff were very supportive during this difficult time.

My 3 dogs have been a patients at Glenview for 5 years now, thus we have gotten to know the practice well. ALL of the staff there are fantastic. I love to see the teamwork and sense of camaraderie amongst the staff. While I can call out a few stars, Vanessa at the front, Dr. Collis and Dr. Jenkins, truly everyone there is wonderful. My dog Lucy is highly anxious and Dr. Jenkins was ever so patient, getting on the floor, moving slowly etc. I have been pleased with their management of my dogs every day care and when there have been emergencies they never let me down. From the moment I call, the people on the phones are knowledgeable and either rush me in or calm me down, depending on how they assess what I have described. The practice is well organized and run and everyone there seems truly invested in the well being of their patients. Thank you for all of your care and attention. <3

The only place we trust and will take our bunnies to. In fact we drive all the way from Chemainus because of the great care they take with our fur babies. On our first visit, Dr. Jenkins was extremely knowledgable and was able to diagnose our bunny's issue right away. We brought him back there recently for his neuter, which she also performed, and were so happy with how well they treated him. The staff were super friendly, made us feel at ease and always call to follow up to make sure everything is okay.

If you have a furry friend that needs vet assistance this is the animal hospital to take them to! We have been taking our dog here for the past 7-8 years and we wouldn't take her anywhere else! Dr. B Watson is THE BEST! We recently went through a little scare with our dog and Dr. Watson was always so comforting, supportive and always had our dogs best interest at heart! Highly recommend this animal hospital and applaud the staff too, excellent at what they do!

this is the 2nd avian vet my little guy and i have been to since we were both traumatized by one in Sidney earlier last month. everyone there was kind and helpful. especially the avian vet, he was great and made the experience good for both of us. of course my little guy didn’t like being poked and prodded at, but the vet explained everything he was doing to put me at ease. he was very knowledgeable about cockatiels and even mentioned having one before. he said my bird was in great shape and very socialized, which he was impressed about haha! Elliott gives this place 2 claws up! :)

Dr. Collis, Dr. MacIntyre and his staff have given our 3 precious labradors the best medical care imaginable for the past 16 years. Dr. Collis is so kind, knowledgeable, energetic, and thorough! Dr. MacIntyre is the most intelligent, empathetic, skilled physician we have ever come across. Our labradors are our angels. Dr. MacIntyre is like their guardian angel. When our labradors are sick, I could swear that Dr. MacIntyre stays up at night, figuring out what is wrong with them and how to treat them. Our remaining two labradors are 16 years old and would not be here with us any longer without Dr. MacIntyre and Dr. Collis. Our little Ebba (our black Labrador), has three terminal illnesses, but with the help of Dr. MacIntyre, she is still a happy, mischievous little monkey who can’t wait to get up in the morning and create a little mischief. She had open heart surgery two years ago. Without Dr. MacIntyre’s tremendous skill in diagnosing veterinary illnesses, we would not have known that she needed to have surgery. The surgery was very difficult and it is a miracle that she made it, but she did! Dr. MacIntyre is nothing less than a guardian angel and a genius – there is no doubt about it! She is such an excellent doctor, that I am occasionally just a little bit jealous of the fabulous medical care that our girls receive. I once jokingly asked Dr. MacIntyre if she could be my doctor. She is such a sweet, sincere lady – she told me that she thought we might run into some difficulty when it came to writing prescriptions ;) For a short time following the surgery, Ebba experienced anxiety – it broke my heart to see our happy little monkey shaking and her teeth chattering without knowing what to do to make her feel better. I was at my wits end! I was so worried that one of her 3 terminal illnesses was causing her unbearable pain. One day, while we were at Glenview, I spoke to Kristin Guldin (a wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable veterinarian assistant) about Ebba’s anxiety. She suggested that we try a herbal remedy called zylkene. It worked like a charm! Ebba’s anxiety disappeared completely after a couple of days and has never returned. Dr. Collis has clearly put a great deal of care into hiring the people on his team. Every single one of them is a gem among gems. The ladies at the front desk (Vanessa and Lisa) have so much patience and listen with such care and attention whenever we need to call. They have even offered to help us plan and schedule the type and regular pickup of our dog food in order to help us save time and money! In short, Dr. Collis, Dr. MacIntyre and everyone at Glenview have had the most incredible positive impact on our lives – they have given us many additional happy years with our two little angels. There are no words that can express our gratitude and no way for us to repay them! Nonetheless, we would like to say: Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts :-) Laura Phelps, Pelle and the Girls

Had a great experience here! They made my puppy feel welcome and safe, and they made me feel well informed and ready to manage my puppy's care after that visit. The vet was kind, all the staff were helpful, and the place was clean and professional. They sell some of the fancier/more "health-centric" or specialized foods, pill pocket treats, and a few toys for cats and dogs. When I went, they were training a few new people so there was a bit of a wait for the medications I needed after my appointment. They were transparent about it and ok with me taking my pup out to pee while I waited - so it was still a pretty seamless experience.

Very affordable, and extremely compassionate staff members. This morning i had to make a very difficult phone call to Glenview Animal Hospital, to have a beloved pet put to rest. The receptionist was very polite and kind over the phone, she quoted me for the procedure (which was a fifth of the price of some other animal hospitals) I asked how they performed the procedure and she took the time to describe to me it in detail. I was referred to their sister clinic called Eagle Rise who had an open appointment today. The vet visit was very difficult for my partner and I; however, the experience was exactly as it was represented over the phone, and somehow the best vet experience we've both ever had. I highly recommend Eagle Rise Animal Hospital, along with Glenview Animal Hospital.

Dr. Macintyre was great with my parents' and sister's dog's, but doesn't appear to work here anymore. Dr. Martin and the tech that were treating my dog seemed to have no understanding of vet-related anxiety in dogs and no patience for my dog. It was suggested by Dr. Martin that I looked in to obedience training for my dog-- while I was trying to practice positive training techniques on a fearful/overstimulated dog. Three people attempted to hold my dog and clip her nails and they got about half of them done. I left feeling like a bad owner and like my dog was a bad dog. Under recommendation of a trainer, I went to Saseenos. Dr. Booth was incredibly understanding and good with my dog. They had no problem clipping her nails and drawing blood from her. They took the time with her and calmed her. The drive from Langford to Saseenos is worth it, especially if your dog is anxious or fearful. I wouldn't recommend Glenview to people.

The more I went to this clinic the more fed up I got with it. Everyone seems confused and the overall care isnt the greatest depending on why you go. They are also way more expensive than any other vet I've been to. They really overcharge for everything. Dr Collis is great, but the clinic just doesn't run well. Wont be going back.

I booked an appointment 4 weeks ago to get a litter of puppies vaccinated. They quoted me over the phone a little over 100 per puppy. They called me the day before and told me they made a mistake and it was going to be 200 per puppy now and I could cancel if I'd like. I called and spoke to a manager to express my frustration and they said it was my fault and I was more than welcome to cancel and I should have gotten a written quote. Obviously I couldn't cancel due to the month in advance bookings they are doing so I said I would still take the appointment. She didn't like the tone I had and that I implied they could be up selling me now that they are changing the price. So she canceled my appointment I made 3 weeks ago. It has cost me thousands of dollars a tremendous amount of time and stress. I will never recommend this place. They are criminal and she refused to put me in touch with the owner/ manager when I asked. She said and I quote I will not let you go over my head. I will be contracting a lawyer to say the least. Don't go here. There are some amazing vets in town and this isn't one of them.

My cat was utterly misdiagnosed by the vet. I was handed a $2000 estimate for dental procedures when in fact she had a very agressive type of oral cancer and nothing could be done about it. I got a second opinion the very next day and this type of cancer in cats is easily diagnosed. Not only that, but I was pressured to have her put down if money was an issue. I gave my cat pain management meds and she died peacefully at home six weeks later. I don't recommend this place at all.

Do not come here. We had a terrible experience with Dr. Watson. I agree with previous reviews. Dr. Watson seems to be more interested in running unnecessary tests to make money. She isn't friendly and she gets her vet techs to do the work for her. In 10 years ive never had such an aweful experience. She didnt even seem to care when I voiced I was upset. Not to mention I never received a follow up call asking if my dog was ok. I clearly left upset after being in the vet office for 2 hours after this aweful experience. Luckily I went else where for a second opinion and they were sweet and helpful and my dog is on the mend. On that note, the receptionist was really sweet. My bad experience was with the vet and vet tech that didnt have enough experience to so the work for her.

They canceled my last 2 appointments on the day of the appointment and both times they required I wait about a week for the next available appointment. I only visited this clinic during the pandemic but the appointments I had that weren't canceled weren't great either. I was basically handed meds and a quote for surgery without being able to speak with the actual vet. It was during the pandemic so I was understanding at the time, but my dog needs surgery and I can't even get him examined at this clinic. I went to a new clinic and they requested my dogs records from this clinic which showed that my dog was up to date on all of his shots. A few days later I get an email from this clinic saying my dog is overdue for 2 shots and I should book with them. Not impressed.

I appreciate how understanding the staff were when it was time for Moka my 15 year old pup to go to his final resting place. This was such a difficult time for my family and they did everything they could to ease our sadness. They also have been very helpful with our newest addition Jaxx a fireball of energy and just the greatest gift I could ask for. I am absolutely wowed with my dogs first visit to GLV, but most of all with Veterinarian Nicola Wenn. Nicola was thorough , professional and truly knows whats going on!! Also my dog was so calmed by her as she performed the examination , Thank you Nicola you will get many referrals from me !

I would never take another fur friend here. They only care about lining their pockets with money, and not at all about you or your pet.
