Been taking our two cats there for years , and most recently our new puppy. When a became concerned about the price of a monthly dose of Nexgard Spectra[$70] for my dog I called three other clinics and found the exact same medication at the exact dose was a third of the cost.Also my cats Revolution pills were much cheaper. I'm not sure if the cost is inflated due to the location of the clinic and to help cover the cost of rent..So I've decided to take them elsewhere and save a lot of money.

The fact multiple animals are seen going in and out worries me as I can’t monitor my pet. I’m going to be holding off on all of my veterinary needs until this policy changes.

Everyone at Williamsburg is fantastic. We had our boy (dog) in there for a second opinion after never receiving a diagnoses and blindly treating symptoms for a few weeks at another vet. As his condtion worsened, we were recommended to Williamsburg. We met with Dr. Steph, who was able to properly assess and diagnose our boy. It was a rare disease, but treatable with the proper medication. Unfortunately by the time we were able to treat for the actual disease, the situation was too critical and we needed to put him down. During this process everyone there was so thoughtful and caring, and with that I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a great place to take there animals. They truly care about the animals and the owners, and prove it with offering affordable alternatives to buying expensive branded pet medicines, and not pushing any non essential products on to the clients. The person who recommended them to me also had a difficult diagnoses but they managed to figure it out and save his pets life.

Our kitten was adopted with many health problems and from the beginning Dr. Anne was invested in her care. She was always searching for answers, new methods and following up with us just to see how Lily was doing. Every member of the Williamsburg Veterinary Hospital has been incredible with every visit and every time we popped in to pick up our kittens food. With the loss of Lily we are even more flabbergasted by just how incredible Dr. Anne and her team are. I would recommend Williamsburg Veterinary Hospital to anyone without hesitation.

When I had booked last summer with them for a visit I was told the cost would be approx. $120 – I ended up having to pay $249 which was dropped on me and I did not have the money to pay for it, as I was pressured with no other option even to make payments. So I had to borrow the money. The only thing my cat was given was an antibiotic and his wound wasnt even treated - when they handed me my cat I could clearly see they never even cleaned it and was told that would be extra. With my cats special condition he would need meds and treatment of approx $600. That being said I saved up the money with the help of friends so that I could afford the treatment. Finally last week I called them to tell them I have the money to have my cat treated and they then said that he would need another random visit with the vet for $75 and to add a phone call on top would be another $45....?? Thats outrageous! Im so dissapointed and I feel nickel and dimed while my cat now has to suffer while I look for another vet. Really dissappointed with their services. I would suggest to look around as most local vets have afforable payment plans.

Over the years they have been great but currently it's super inconvenient and stressful the way they have their lockdown-style protocols in place when everything else has opened to full capacity. I want to have a conversation with the dr, be there to ease my dog's anxiety, point things out of concern and I can do none of that via a phone call and passing my dog through the door. This has me on a hunt for a new vet

This has been our vet for years and the doctors and staff are simply amazing. I took our dog Benjy who had injured his leg zooming around the house. As usual Dr Steph was kind compassionate and thorough in her exam and advice. She always listen to your concerns and is happy to answer any questions you may have...just a great hospital!

Favourite vet ever! The most empathetic animal hospital we have ever been to, and we’ve been to both Kitchener-Waterloo and Toronto vets before. Typical city vet, went in and asked for medication for the kitty and they said because he hasn't been there in a year they can't give it out. Basically saying oh spend 200 for just a check up and then we'll give you the medication they're in the business for the money, you're better off going somewhere on the outskirts where they're still in it for the animals not the money.

Dr Anne and the staff are very concerned about every animal that comes in. Before we adopted our rescued Standard Poodle, she saved our dog's life with emergency surgery. Eight years later, she was thrilled that our dog was doing so well. The staff are very knowledgeable, understanding and thorough and take the time to fully explain every option and answer all questions. They represent what all vets should be.

My fav clinic. Always does diagnosis before the treatment. It is Very important to know what to do before doing any treatment. In vet care as in any other areas Evaluation is a key and not the other way around as some local clinics might push you into. Do not trust people who always know everything. Go to professionals.

If you're in the area looking for a vet, look no further!! Dr. Steph and the staff at this clinic are exceptional!!!! So much so, I commute all the way from Scarborough to bring my furry companions to them!! When I had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to my older dog Hugo, Dr. Steph and the assistants working that day made our goodbye so peaceful, even with all of the restrictions in place due to Covid. You can tell that they really care about the wellness of their clients, and their compassion and professionalism puts them above any other clinic I've gone to. We have been taking our pup here since we got her around 8 weeks last August. The vets, techs, and reception staff are all very helpful and welcoming! You can tell they truly care (unlike some other vets I have experienced before). They were also very patient and understanding when spacing apart vaccines, as well as waiting until 9 months as opposed to 6 months to spay my puppy. I will definitely take all my fur babies here as long as I live in the area!

I will never forget this vet clinic. When my cat Apollo had a blocked bladder and was absolutely screaming in pain, no other vet in the area would make the time for him including our regular vet at the time, except for this one. Their schedule was booked and they still made time immediately for Apollo. They cleared out his bladder, kept him for a couple days during the recovery period and I am so thankful. I've taken my pets here ever since and will continue to do so. I can't possibly thank the staff here enough. Highly recommended.

We have been with the WVH clinic for over 10 years now, and a review is long overdue. Dr. Anne, Dr. Catherine, Dayna, Kim, Laura are like an extension of our family. They have seen us through happy times and sad times with our various pets, including a few rescue/foster babies along the way. No matter the circumstance, they are always very compassionate and provide the very best care. We lived within walking distance of the clinic for years, and recently moved clear across town, but I would never consider taking my guys anywhere else. The staff at Williamsburg have been caring for our family cats for several years now, and have provided excellent and professional treatment for two elderly animals who sadly passed, and now with our two new young cats. Dr Anne and Dr Steph always communicate clearly and about medical conditions, and make referrals to specialists when warranted. Dana and the other staff are friendly and compassionate. When I have had emergencies they always are able to fit us in. I'm glad to see they are keeping up good COVID protocols to protect their staff so they can keep doing what they do best! Your pets are in good hands at this practice.

Dr. Anne and her amazing team cared for our black lab Sully for the eleven years he was with us. They were nothing short of supportive, knowledgeable and professional each and every time we needed them. They always had time for our silly questions and paranoid pet parent concerns. The empathy and compassion that they showed us when we finally had to make the most impossible of decisions to euthanize our Sully - I will never forget it. To say that they were amazing is an understatement. There are simply no words to describe these people. They are more than just a business. They are doing what they love and it shows. Dr. Anne I am truely blown away by you! Your compassion, empathy and professionalism has truely left me and my husband speechless and so appreciative. Here’s a little background info on my beautiful 2 year old cat, Riah that I brought to Dr. Anne on Saturday. Riah was born with heart abnormalities which shortened her life span and made it so that we could not spay her as she wouldn’t survive under anesthesia. Riah had been peeing places since she was born but it significantly got worse over the last couple months, she would pee and spray everywhere. My husband and I decided it might be time to let her go as nothing we did made it better, she was constantly going into heat. I brought her to Dr. Anne and explained our situation and if there were any other options besides putting her down. Dr. Anne truely took the time to explain everything to me and when it came down to deciding putting her down was the best option, Dr. Anne ensured me I was making the best decision. She truely took some of the stress off me and made me comfortable. She explained every part of the process to me and made sure I was okay as this was the hardest thing I have ever done. On Monday (today) Dr.anne called me and asked how we are doing and how my other kitty is without Riah. This is truely the definition of customer service!! I felt as though we were all going through this together and Dr. Anne insured me to call in case I have any questions. She truely has put my mind at ease and made this process much less painful. Thank you so much Dr. Anne and all the staff at Williamsburg!

Was charged $70 exam fee (plus pain killers) and this vet said that my female cat was a male. Not sure if they are charging fees without actually doing the work on purpose or if they actually can't tell the difference between a male and female cat, either was both seem like a good reason not to come here

In the two months we've been going here, this vet has prescribed unnecessary medications for my pup, racked up fees without telling me (even after asking for better communication up front on two separate occasions), and charged me two $100 'puppy exam' fees for the same issue within the same week. My pup and my wallet will be safer elsewhere.

During the 12 years we've had with our adopted cat, 'Kitty', Williamsburg Veterinary Hospital have served us well and treated Kitty with absolute care. With only the first few visits there we could tell they genuinely care for the well being of furry little animals.
