We have all the opinions of real people who are purchasing the products of VetsToronto Kingston Road Animal Hospital (Veterinarian) in the territory close to Kingston (Canada).
Right now the firm receives a rating of 4.1 over 5 and this rating is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is high, and it is founded on a very high number of scores, so we can conclude that the score is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to value when they are satisfied with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian corresponds to the category of Veterinarian.
We are so so grateful for the time and attention of Dr. Shirleen Guest. The flexible hours are amazing and although I feared the cost of an 'emergency' vet clinic, the pricing was better than the local clinics. We would highly recommend.
My cat was nearly dying of a mysterious illness in 2013 and was not expected to live. After spending weeks at this clinic and the extra special care he received he was back to near perfect and lived through to the end of 2016. These extra three years were truly a blessing and I will always be grateful. Pricing was high and this is why I can only give 4 stars.
Due to lack of vet appointments at my usual vet clinic, I was referred to Kingston Road Animal Hospital for my dog Jimmy. This was first visit with this clinic. Staff were very professional, helpful and caring. Definitely recommend this clinic for your pets.
So Grateful we found Vets Toronto. Our Cat Lex wasn't well and they took him in right away , provided us with useful information and Medication. Lex has slowly been progressing since his visit and Vets Toronto Staff have been giving us a call, checking up on him and show they really care! From one pet lover to the next its not like this everywhere so were happy we have a new Place we can trust for our Kitty!
IMPORTANT: this clinic has new vets and a new director as of late 2019, and they're ⭐amazing!⭐ I encourage you to check out recent reviews, as so much has changed for the better at the Kingston Road Animal Hospital. Before, our dog was terrified at the vet, but LOVES coming to this clinic to see Dr. Delgado. Her team is gentle, thoughtful, thorough and help keep scared/anxious animals relaxed. We are so impressed by Dr. Delgado that we're always happy to drive across Toronto so that our dog, Dougal, recieves the best care! Tentire VETS Toronto team always go above and beyond. Recently after a surgery, they realized within moments that Dougal panics in a crate, so they took turns cuddling him on their laps until I was able to pick him up. They're the most ethical and honourable Vet Clinic in Toronto, with very reasonable fees and outstanding communication about vaccination / surgical invoicing. As clients, our concerns are always heard, they respect our budget, and it feels like a true conversation when we speak to Dr. Delgado about the best options to ensure Dougal's health. So grateful for the whole VETS Toronto team at the Kingston Road Animal Hospital! ???? Thank you!!! ????
The Vet was sighing while we were crying our lost.........All the family is disappointed with the attitude that had the owner Dr Delgado. It was already hard enough for us to have to say our last goodbyes to our cat from a facetime. Through the whole video chat, we could hear Dr. Delgado being discourteous to the family member that was physically present....We could actually hear her sights and cut her off through the phone. The tone of her voice.... no words. She insisted on charging her for an examination. While we witnessed her leaving with the cat for not more than a few minutes. Dr. Delgado came back and started no discussion. If this is a medical examination / consultation.... Dr Delgado seemed to care about the money a lot tho. They even brought the interac machine in the euthanasia room...... while we were holding our dying cat. And this was before the fatal injection, where he only had a few minutes to live. It was heartbreaking to witness her attitude to our family member and our beloved cat from a facetime. We cried watching this and we are sorry our cat left earth with such bad vibes. So heartbreaking. The lack of compassion is inexcusable. As she is the owner? We wished our money would have gone to a business that would have care more about pets.
We really like VetsToronto on Kingston Road and have recommended them to our friends. We have been with other vets before, but have not experienced the level of service we receive from them. They are open 7 days a week with great evening hours and we're usually able to get in the same day that we call. Dr. Pusong and Dr. Delgado really understand our dog and his needs and the entire staff treats him like he's one of their own. We're grateful for their service and continued support for our pup's on-going issues.
While the staff was the utmost of pleasant and knowledgeable, which i appreciated immensely given the circumstances, I really don’t think it’s okay that pet parents can’t be in the room while the veterinarian is examining and treating our pets. COVID or not, it’s our right to be able to oversee what exactly is being done to our pets, if not to ensure the safety of them and to know you’re getting what you’re paying for. There are ways to make sure everyone is “safe” while still maintaining a transparent and rigorously honest practice. And while I understand that this isn’t exclusive to this veterinary practice, it does nonetheless Marr my experience there.
Ive been searching for a new vet and unfortunately did not find one just yet when my dog fractured her back tooth. I went into full panic mode and called around to 9 vets! All booked for a month. Finally I got ahold of VetsToronto and they're extended hours saved us. We stopped in same day, 9:30pm and my dog was seen. She was booked for her surgery two days later. Something I really appreciated was their staff member Brendan. He took the time to go through each single charge on the quote and explain it to me entirely, he also took the time to coach my dog into trusting him ( shes a rescue and really has a hard time). With Covid I wasnt allowed to walk her back and some how he managed to pick her up and carry her in a blanket to the back and it made me feel so so so much better. His patience, understanding and transparency made the biggest difference. Thank you Brendan!! Updating this! Also Dr. Pusong and the rest of the staff who were there the other day when I came in for Rudy again ( stiches opened) they took her in immediately, stiched her up and and stayed late to do it! Love love these vets- moving our other two dogs over asap <3 you guys are the best
The service was great, the staff friendly and knowledgeable and the COVID protocols were followed very seriously and most importantly they treated my dog well. She is normally nervous but was fine throughout.
Unprofessional interactions over the phone with csr and mgmt rep. Condescending responses given when questions were being asked. In accurate information presented to me re: past visits. Failed to meet my dogs health care needs overall. Highly dissapointed with this service.
Great people to take care of your furry friends. They also speak Spanish & Portuguese in case you need an additional reason to choose them
We always have a good experience with Dr. Pusong. We're generally able to get an appointment quickly, he puts my mind at ease, he checks in with us after Pedro has had vaccines, and he's kind and gentle. We're always pleased with our experience.
our enormous cat was well taken care of, and I'm sure he was happy to see Dr. Pusong again :) as were we! Good organization and flow with the COVID protocols, reminder before the appointment and checking in on the cat the day after his shots. it's always a pleasure dealing with this team :)
Was able to get my dog in for an emergency visit. Very helpful. Thank you!
The staff and especially Doctor Mitelman were very kind and mindful of our questions and concerns as we had to admit our cat for 3-4 days. Even as we had to say goodbye to our little one, both the doctor and the nurses were very respectful of the entire process, and provided a dignified approach to a very sensitive moment. All in all it isn't cheap, but do remember they are a 24 hr facility and they also take pet insurance (which we didn't have at the time).
The staff was really nice, however, upon the first general full body examination of my new puppy, they failed to notice a rather severe ear yeast infection. I should say that the vet technician was nice enough to clean his outer ears, but it was baffling to me how that amount of brown waxy discharge from both of his ears failed to ring a bell of yeast infection. We had him checked again in another hospital shortly after our visit to Kingston Road because of his frequent scratching, and found the yeast infection. We were lucky to have found the infection in time, otherwise it could have resulted in severe damage to his hearing.
Unprofessional. You can’t trust what any of them say. 2 different receptionists told us our inquiry would be passed onto the manager but the manager refuses to get back to us. Poor customer service, poor communication skills and untrustworthy.
This is my first real experience at this clinic. My cat received oral surgery and everything went well. Post surgery instructions were clear and follow up calls from them were appreciated. Dr. Pusong is kind, caring and dedicated to the well being of his patients and the rest of the staff is very professional and helpful. I live with a disability and found parking close by a bit of a problem, especially during rush hour. Balancing the carrier on my walker makes it difficult to travel any distance. However, when I explained my problem, they informed me that week end appointments are possible therefore my dilemma is resolved.
Very nice Vet clinic. Staff are all friendly and caring both toward the pet and toward the pet owner. I have confidence in their handling of my cat,
Very friendly staff and clean environment This was our first time coming to this hospital. We had an emergency with our cat and was taken in right away. The procedure went very smooth.. thanks to Dr. Delgado who was very informative with the instructions, which made everything easier. We knew right away that our cat was in good hands. I highly recommend this hospital to everyone!
Thank you to the entire staff of Vets Toronto Kingston Road animal hospital for the great care of my little Possum. Dr Shimora took Possum's symptoms seriously (frequent urination) and provided immediate treatment to avoid any long term kidney damages. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything. Samantha took good and loving care of Possum while helping out Dr Shimora. She ensured I was updated during this stressful time, providing great support and showing genuine care. Lastly, I really like the Pet Desk application for the appointment options and reminders.
Me and my mom recently saved a Sphinx cat, Sophia, from a terrible situation. We brought her to VetsToronto knowing nothing about pets, especially a breed such as this. We met an amazing vet tech named Samantha who will forever mean the world to us. We were emotional and confused and she was calm and patient. She guided us through all of our questions, concerns, and especially our constantly changing emotions with absolute grace. Her heart is clearly deeply invested in her role with animals and the people who own them or, in our case, find themselves suddenly involved in making life changing decisions about these precious little lives. Samantha became our lifeline. We met her feeling helpless and afraid and because of her, we feel the complete opposite now. We are still going through the process of getting Sophia healthy and Samantha is with us every step of the way. She is what is known as a diamond in the rough. Thank you for all that you do! - Penelope + Lorraine
The staff is very friendly and the Doctors are good. I liked the service as they tried best to help us with our cats
I've never been to a more empathetic and understanding vet in my life. I was worried to tears when I brought my cat in last weekend and now she's feeling a lot better after being looked at and taken care of here. The animal's health is their priority and it shows in how sympathetic they are to the animal, the people, and your budget. Thank you for taking such good care of Cloudy.
Excellent quality care from the staff and the doctor. Safe and observant pandemic protocols. Lots of follow-up from the staff. My cat Joey was in excellent hands. Highly recommend this clinic.
What an Amazing place the crew there is the best in the East End they took care of my Animal when he needed it ❤????. Thanks a million .
Amazing service! They were very concerned about my dog’s health. They diagnosed so quickly and took care of her so well. The vets and technicians checked on my dog’s update. Very patiently responsive. Thank you so much for bringing my girl back to her healthy life.
The entire staff treated us and our cat with very friendly and informative service.
They did everything to try to save my cat. They negotiated prices and especially the day doctor (Mitchell was it?) did everything to ensure my cat was comfortable and loved. They give a paw imprint for free when your pet dies, and they're very understanding. As much as they cost a lot, it's an emergency hospital, and the fact that they're willing to negotiate and potentially give you a lesser price to help your beloved pet is commendable. If it's an emergency, they will help you to the best of their ability.
Went there last minute on the August long weekend Monday, to get my geriatric dogs nails cut and the vet technician or vet (wasn't sure what his role was), was super great, professional, and knowledgeable. The staff was also friendly too. I don't usually write reviews but I feel others should know of this high quality customer service. I can see how they've come to be accredited.
Fast and professional. It was a bit busy the last time we were there but I see how hard they all work.
Thank you so much to Dr. Sun for taking care of my precious pug!! The staff was fantastic. They were great in explaining options to check out this weird lump on my pug's paw to fit him in to get that sorted real quick. Anyway, turned out to be a callus of sorts, and got removed, and now pug back to his jaunty self!
Friendly local vet that has good covid protocols in place.
Brought my daughter's Sphynx cat here. They were thorough, efficient and informative. My daughter was very happy to have gotten a same day appointment with a quick turn around for blood work results indicating no issues.
Dr. Pusong is professional, compassionate, and honest. He very patiently answers questions and explains your options clearly and thoroughly. We’ve been seeing Dr. Pusong for a couple years (we followed him over from Banks Animal Hospital) and we’ve never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision. He is always very committed and attentive - even answering our emails and calling us to follow up with lab results on his days off. The reception staff and other team members at VetsToronto are also wonderful and very friendly!
RUN FOR THE HILLS. DO NOT believe any of the fake positive reviews that they have packed onto this site. If you need to go to a vet out of hours then go to the VEC emergency clinic at 920 yonge street. they charge exactly the same (exhorbitant) prices but whereas VEC is a really professional emergency facility, this clinic is not set up to provide an emergency service and they do not provide a comparable standard of care. They should not do after hours treatment because quite often this involves animals in distress which they are not set up to handle at any level . My story: I took my cat there after hours when he was weak and not eating much - I really suspected something was quite wrong.. The vet as mentioned by others was distant and condescending. they charged emergency consultation rates and took blood - $500 dollars. doctor called the next day to say the blood test was mostly normal, but based on his high white blood cell count she thought he had pancreatitis, she prescribed medication and told me to check in with my own doctor after a week. she did not lead me to believe there was any urgency to the situation. the medication was to be picked up at my regular doctor the following day: when I went to collect it the prescription was not there. I didnt get it for a couple of days. As my cats condition was deteriorating I made an appointment to see my normal doctor but VET failed to send the diagnosis or notes to my doctor over the course of next week. My doctor was therefore unable to treat my cat based on their test results. I am not sure if the fault lay with my own doctor or with these people but between them they botched the treatment of my animal. My cat died a week later. I resented most of all their cavalier attitude, the doctors lack of interest in my case, and their overall unprofessionalism - especially given their rates. It has taken me 4 months to be able to write this but I feel I should record my experience so others dont make the same mistake. I will never go near that vet again.
I'm very happy with the care and treatment they showed my cat. We saw two vets on two separate visits late at night on a holiday weekend. My cat was treated kindly and with effective medicine.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the staff and team at the clinic. Always supportive and always thorough and they keep the best interest of your pet in the forefront of their operations.
I have been using this vet for a few years now. My wife and I just took our new puppy here to meet DR. Sun. The new owners are just as great as the old. They are very knowledgeable and up to date on breeds and health. I highly recommend this vet clinic.
Very friendly receptionists and efficient staff. They took in my pet Chia the same day I called just an hour before closing to check her. She was in a bad state and the doctors at this clinic gave me peace of mind knowing they were willing to help in such a crunch of time. My pet is now being treated and doing better after a short wait for lab results. Thank you VetsToronto!
We had to rush our 8 month old kitten into Vets Toronto, after she ate something she shouldn’t have and we were worried it could be toxic. Though they are not our usual vet, they are open late and extremely ready to help with any type of pet emergency that may arise. Our little Fika had to stay for two nights so they could be sure to monitor her while she was treated. They made sure to have some of her usual food to keep her fed and they called us regularly to keep us updated on her progress. We were so relieved to see how concerned and thorough they were throughout this experience. We could trust that they did what they needed to for our vulnerable little gal and it was done to the best of their abilities. They were reassuring and able to answer any questions we may have had. Thank you for your help. Our Fika is home and more rambunctious than ever!
We brought Bolin here after he stopped eating and continued vomiting. They took great care of him and watched him closely. He had a blockage in his intestines and they diagnosed it very quickly. They also did the surgery and it went well. Bolin is home now, recovering and is alive and on his way to being good boy thanks to VETS Toronto and team. Dr Kim, Sun were great.
I had to take my cat there twice—first in a medical emergency because they were open late, and second to get an ultrasound. Both times everyone I dealt with was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the results to me. Not cheap but they were there when I needed them.
Very disappointed by the service.. No empathy by Dr.D… and really make me feel uncomfortable..I don’t suggest this place
Scout had the very best experience here. He came in with a fractured tooth that needed to come out. From updates while he was there to check-up calls after he came home with me, I am so happy I chose Vetstoronto Kingston Rd Animal Hospital to take care of him ????
VetsToronto has been taking care of my two cats for the past year and we couldn't be happier. They have helped us out in urgent cases and always take the best care for our furry pals - they really care about the pets in their care. One of our cats has quite a few issues and anxiety visiting vets but never before has been more relaxed. Highly recommend trusting them without your pets!
I have a cat that was recently treated by Dr. Delgado de la Flor. Her expertise and choice of treatments have really helped my cat recover. She and the rest of the team at the Kingston animal hospital took the time to walk me through the process and patiently explained everything that I needed to know. Their service is reasonably priced and follow-ups and responses were timely.
A $100 non-refundable fee to hold an appointment, while my wife and I figure out who can bring the cat? Yeah, whatever. I will go somewhere else. Luckily my cat isn't disimbowelled and requiring emergency car. I'm sure the vets and vet staff are more than capable with the animals and the owners, but the admin staff have a few things to learn about bed side manners.
I brought my 8 week old puppy here on June 1st after noticing he was experiencing vomiting, diarrhea and what seemed like dizziness. He was unable to walk on his own without falling over, and he was unable to keep his head up, an employee took my puppy in and had me fill out paper work and asked me lots of questions on his state before arriving to the office. Shortly after, the vet called me and said that she was unsure what was wrong with my puppy. She said it seemed to be some sort of toxicity or something neurological, and that he could not be treated at the office as he may need overnight supervision. They did NOT run any tests to rule anything out before returning my puppy to me, from there I went to a different emergency veterinary hospital nearly half an hour away, they were amazing. They thought he was showing symptoms of Parvovirus, which they tested for and had a negative result, they then completed a urine sample which came back positive for THC. Unfortunately, my puppy must have ingested some marijuana outdoors. This was avoidable but could have been ruled out at this veterinary office if they simply just did their job. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted in their lack of professionalism and care for my animal.
My cat got really sick during the holidays and I didn't know what to do. I was hoping it would pass but it did not and I found myself in need of a vet on Christmas Eve. I figured I'd have to call in an emergency vet and pay all kinds of fees but someone recommended Vets Toronto to me. They were able to accommodate me to come in quickly and helped me and my kitty spend Christmas together. Rates are very reasonable for a vet and the hours can't be beat - open 365 days a year! It was honestly such a relief and the staff were lovely.
Very kind and took good care of my dog Lulu!
Fair pricing, reasonable treatment plan, great customer service
Throughout our journey adopting senior cats the past few years, we've made many routine checkup, after hours, and emergency visits. From the ~10 vets we have been to, VetsToronto has been hands-down our best vet care experience. The team is patient, friendly, helpful, and so understanding. We admitted our cat for a 6-day stay last year, and each time we visited the vet on duty took the time to speak with us to fully explain the goings-on. Fuzzy One emerged a happy dude! The front of house staff/vet techs are just as amazing. The cost is totally on par with other clinics in Toronto. Pet care costs money, sure.. but I can't think of a more worthwhile investment. If you're at the stage where you may need to make the insanely difficult decision to euthanize, you know it really is a unique pain. The team here truly respects that and can help you out. Thanks, y'all.
I have had nothing but first rate experiences with this clinic, and particularly with Dr. Mitelman. A few years ago, my 21 year old cat was very sick. Dr. Mitelman diagnosed her very quickly and her treatment gave her three more years with me. She passed just shortly after her 24th birthday. I am so grateful to Dr. Mitelman for giving me those three extra years with my beautiful cat. My 11 year old dog recently started refusing food. She was panting and distressed. Dr. Mitelman diagnosed her within a few hours after blood tests, x-rays and ultrasound. It has been one week and the treatment he prescribed for my dog has turned her into a puppy again. His diagnostic and treatment skills are phenomenal. I trust him more than any other vet with my pets. The front staff are extremely friendly. Dr. Sun has also been looking after my dog, and she is always available to answer any questions and address any concerns. They are very patient and caring. This clinic is first class and I highly, highly recommend it.
First time visit and had the most amazing service from the first phone call with Tia to the most exceptional service from vet tech Samantha. Was in a total panic needing assistance with my dogs tick and found it at the Kingston road Clinic. Even tho my dog was scared and squirrelly they handled her fear and my nervousness with the utmost professionalism! I’m so grateful to them and the last minute appt that I got. Thank you thank you. Thank you. Will be a repeat customer / patient for sure thx Nicole
Saved my beautiful little angel Diamond dove. She got her little toe caught in some string or something, and was turning color, I couldn't get it after trying my best. They got her in on a Sunday, within an hour, with no garentees and the doctor succeeded I was so worried and upset. didn't want to go to work, just wanted to know if and how she was healing. . Prayers helped too, thank you all so very much. Words can't explain how greatful
Fast, quality service, they even took us in late in evening with very little notice. I was turned away by a few other clinics, and was welcomed by VETS with a warm and professional manner. They really do care about your pets, and the recommendations were considerate and reasonable.
The vet and staff were very friendly and took great care of our rat. I would recommend this clinic for any exotic animal and bird!
I regret going to this hospital, all they cared about was money, they kept asking when we were going to pay as me and my partner were in tears as our cat was dying, they charged us 565$ to take blood and put our cat down, they showed no compassion or empathy. They made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. We lost our cat today, and I will ensure no one I know goes here, wish I could give 0 stars.
They helped my sick turtle!! :)
Love love love this clinic and Dr. Sun! Highly recommend. I have a geriatric beagle and we're regularly at the vet for all his aches and pains. Dr. Sun is always very thorough and takes a lot of time with us. They're also reasonably priced for a vet clinic in Toronto and have great hours. It's very easy to find a time for an appointment after work. Best vet I've been to.
Fantastic service! We were referred to this clinic by Euclid Animal Hospital and were accommodated the same day. The service was prompt and the staff were knowledgeable and caring! Thank you for taking such good care of our cat.
I had trouble getting my cat in to see her regular vet, and I was pretty sure she had fleas. I managed to get a late Saturday night appointment at Kingston Road Animal Hospital, and I was incredibly happy with my experience. It was a bit scary leaving my cat for her appointment, but I fully respect COVID restrictions and also learned she was in great hands. Dr. Shimura went above and beyond to treat my cat and to make me feel at ease. After returning home, I called the clinic to ask a few questions. In peaking with her again, I knew Dr. Shimura was invested in my cat's health and well being. She also sent me an email follow-up that night and called me the next morning to check on how my cat was doing. Even though this clinic is not as close as our regular vet, I was so grateful for Dr. Shimura's care and concern that I (and my cat) will likely become a regular client. Thank you!
From the moment I brought in a 6-week old feral kitten, the staff have all been so attentive. I love that they have late hours because I arrived after 9 pm seeking assistance after finding this little one alone (for hours). The tech on call was Samantha who so helpful with great advise and gave the kitten a quick once over for fleas and advised that I return the next day to see the vet. We did so and have been returning regularly for additional support. The little kitten, now named Luca, is happy, healthy and growing! He was less than a pound when found him! His vet is Dr. Priscilla and she has been extremely helpful, caring and attentive. I very much appreciated the surprise follow-up call the other day to check in on Luca. Luca is my second rescue. My first one (Wenjack) was also brought here dour years ago. They are the only vet hospital open late that I am aware of in my area (Kingston Road village). I am so pleased and fortunate to have them minutes from my home. Thank you!
Very friendly and attentive team. I've been taking my pets to Dr. Pusong for many years at Banks, and he is a most caring, kindhearted Vet who truly has a passion for animals' health and well-being. I've known Marissa a long time too and she is so cheerful (always smiling), very reliable and goes the extra mile. I recently met Fiona since Banks merged with VetsToronto, and she is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with too, either in-person or on the phone. Great group.
No complaints at all. Very kind and forthcoming staff.
Friendly, fair priced and very kind to you pet. They take time to explain and help you make the right decision for your loved pet. I had my dog "Moose" in for a minor surgery and they took such good care of him, when I got home I noticed they trimmed his nails free of charge. Things like that go a long way with me, compared to most vets in this city who over charge and nickel and dime you. Absolutely recommend!
Dr. Sun and her staff were extremely helpful when Charlie started to urinate around the house (very unlike him). Charlie actually liked Dr. Sun which made us feel very comfortable! She gave us an explanation for her recommendation for the lab work we had to do, which helped us understand what was going on with our little guy. We’re so glad they open late as well, since Charlie always seems to be getting into trouble around 8/9pm! Great clinic!!
Very very bad service… no support from Dr.Delgado when it was time for me to let go my best friend, this lack of professionalism made this difficult moment even more difficult… avoided at all cost
Our experience could not have been better! Dr. Delgado, Samantha, and the rest of the team were kind and professional. They have been so supportive helping us to learn how to manage our cats diabetes. Thanks to them my kitty is on the mend ????????
My puppy is very fussy about people and he is often very nervous going to the vet (excessively crying and whining as soon as I leave) but with VetsToronto he walked into the building like he had been there a million times! They definitely passed his standards and they made me feel extremely comfortable and well informed. Highly recommend :)
We took our pup for the first time to this clinic and they didn’t overcharge us and didn’t recommend a bunch of tests, they provided an immediate, non-expensive, solution for him that worked! Very impressed with the service!
A bit of a close-to-the-bone business model, but given that our regular vet could not see our ailing cat the same day, this clinic stepped in gallantly. The long hours mean that animals staying overnight are supervised more than in other clinics. I was also relieved to know that my cat would be coned (to prevent her from pulling out IV) for the handful of hours humans were not around. A trifle more value-added, like a complimentary nail trim and a free pill injector, surely would have been nice in light of the expense.
Just called for help with an issue, and Joaquim was amazing. I haven't taken a pet here, but just from speaking to this gentleman, I feel they would definitely take care of ones pet. A HUGE thanks to Joaquim, from my hubby and I!!????
The care I got tonight for my cat was amazing. He had peed in his carrier and they cleaned it for me. So careful loving and thorough... Big difference since new management. Thank you to the wonderful vet and staff there tonight ❤️
Always great service! It's a little out of the way since we moved, but I still take both my dogs here and will likely continue to. (Pricey for some services like spay/neuter, I would recommend somewhere else for that)
Our dog Marshy had terrible hot spots after a trip to the cottage. We were able to get an appointment same day & the Dr. was a huge help with good advice. Marshy's treatment is working very well & he is feeling much better. Thanks to everyone at Vets Toronto for all of their help.
Good communication, people are very patient to explain to you.
Dr. Shimura and her team have come to the rescue more than once for my kitten Louie! They outline everything in a professional step-by-step manner alongside a warm and compassionate lens. They follow-up with care about their service to make sure your pet is on a positive road to recovery. So grateful to have them as a part of my support team! Thank you for going the extra mile for us!!
brought my kitten in to get him checked out and was told that he was underweight for his age and was sold a slew of products to make him better, and I had later found out that he wasnt the age i was told and was healthy for being 6 weeks old as oppose to 8 weeks and half a pound underweight this vet didnt seem to know the age of a kitten from an hour of having him and instead sold me products that werent needed aswell as essentially a bio-k for cats which i had to refuse since he seemed healthy, after a week of having him i had given him KMR a replacement for his mothers milk and he had taken to it quite well, yet i was advised against giving him that and instead force feeding him dry/wet food because they seemed to think he was too old to have it, which is quite unprofessional as theyre a vet there are charts online and weights by age for kittens you should listen to the client rather than supporting your best interest sometimes, because some people know what theyre talking about apparently more than the people who run the show at VetsToronto Kingston Road. edit- i was told id get a call from them regarding this and i hadnt, they also failed to diagnose an eye infection
I come here fairly often for my own cats and foster cats. All of the staff are great and the medical staff are really caring and take great care of my babies, even the grouchy ones. The long hours are a lifesaver and they have always been able to fit me in for an emergency. Prices are quire reasonable for a city vet. Very happy they are just up the street :)
My dog has an eye infection. I called today July 24 at 5:50pm and front line person coldly said they are fully booked this weekend. I understand that but she didn't even asked me what I needed nor offered any assistance, totally uncaring attitude. I am not even a new customer. TOTAL DISSAPOINTED!
While I appreciate the immediate service that VETs Toronto was able to provide me with, I am extremely disappointed with the outcome. My dog and his issues were treated as a priority upon arriving to the clinic, but that drastically changed once we left and the payment was received. If you aren't able to commit to a timeline, then don't promise it to your clients. If a client has to reach out to you multiple times because they are waiting on results from you, you should have the decency to respond to the multiple requests. The clinic was beyond unorganized, and highly unprofessional. I will not be returning and would not recommend.
A two week old kitten in our rescue at Cats Cradle Toronto had an eye infection or injury that resulted in the need to have it removed pronto. Vets Toronto was incredibly responsive to our need and scheduled surgery the next day. Wee Earl was monitored so carefully and in and out of surgery at a great pace (which is important for teeny tiny kittens). We are so grateful to the whole team and know they are rooting for our little guy!
Incredible Vet Services full of heart and love from the many people working here. Big shout out to Marisa at reception and Dr. Delgado. You always make us feel important and thanks for taking amazing care of our Dexter!
Great service. Not my usual vet clinic, but mine was closed and VETS has extended hours. Dr. Sung was great to deal with, and if I was in a similar situation I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Nice polite staff and not as expensive as you might think
I’m always confident that Bella is getting the best care at Vets Toronto. Thank you all for taking such great care of my girl.
The vet made my girlfriend cry, but also she's sensitive. Good availability for a pinch, vets are very knowledgeable.
Daisy and her people love her veterinary practice! She goes bounding up the step and through the door everytime. She is never fearful, because she knows she will be treated well. The staff are kind and knowledgeable and take the time to explain everything to her people. We have been very happy here!
Dr Barrientos and Dr Delgado run a terrific clinic. Plus their hours mean access when emergencies happen.
Staff have been amazing and have offered me in my situation more than great vet healthcare for my fur baby. Affordable costing, and great help as a dog owner.
I normally don’t do reviews but this clinic has helped my cat so much in such a difficult time. I am so thankful to everyone at this clinic. I had brought my cat because he was acting weird and found out that he was having a blockage making him unable to pee. The clinic was aware of our budget throughout the whole process and each and every alternative treatment to a surgery was tried.
Our Doctor, Dr. Pusong relocated to a new address recently and the level of service has not changed. My family loves the quality of care that our pets have always received at every appointment with our doctor --16 years for my cat and nine for my dog who's since passed . Compassion and love is what we've always ever seen in our doctor, and it's the same with the new team that I've since been introduced to now at the new location. The other doctors, nurses, technicians, and front desk are all super. I highly recommend Vets Toronto Road Animal Hospital. Your babies will receive nothing but the very best of quality care. Needless to say that I am very happy with this hospital. -Nancy
I came here because my last vet was not quite good and in my first visit I felt so much relief and very welcomed by the front staff. Dr. Delgado was amazing with care and explaining what was needed to help my pup Memphis. The prices here are very reasonable and they are professional. I am glad to have found a reliable vet!
$98 to check his heart rate cause she couldn’t help us yet we still had to pay for a “check up” which was a heart rate check! We were in an out in 1 minute. Criminal
I give 4 stars due to my most recent visit and combining it with Friday's visit. I had gone to Vets on Friday and was not pleased with how the vet didn't take my concerns and the condition of my dog seriously. Needless to say, I had to bring my dog somewhere else on Saturday and was from there, referred to a neurologist. Sunday, Dr. Delgado (not the vet who had attended my dog on Friday) called me with the results of the blood-work I had ordered for my dog . She was patient and attentive as I spoke to her regarding my concerns. My dog's condition was still rapidly deteriorating. I called her more than once to ask her questions. Each time, she was compassionate and accommodating. In the end, I ended up rushing my dog back to Vets Toronto so that I could have my dog seen by Dr. Delgado. Dr. Delgado also mentioned my dog seeing a neurologist and observed the symptoms my dog had, of which I was so concerned with. She and the vet techs handled my girl gently, from what I saw. Dr. Delgado further assisted my dog and had the courtesy to take the time to speak to me outside (respecting COVID restrictions and guidelines, etc.). Had my interactions been only with Dr. Delgado and the vet techs, I would have given Vets a 5 star review. If not for her, I would have given Vets a much lower rating.
No one available to actually speak to, message says leave a message and they would respond in a couple of days. Not helpful.
I brought my dog Sadie as she was feeling listless and the doctor diagnosed the problem very quickly, did the operation and sent Sadie on her way home with the appropriate medicines all within three quarters of an hour. Blood work results were also given to me within 2 days as promised. Sadie was brought in because our regular vet was not available on short notice - if I lived closer (I live in downtown Toronto) I would be very happy to have them as my vet hospital and for this emergency they were great!!
Attentive to any issues. Friendly, reliable, efficient service. Staff really care about your pets!
We have been coming to this clinic for about a year and have found the care to be excellent. Our pup recently had to have her eye removed and Dr. Sun took amazing care of her and made sure she was well taken care of. Would highly recommend Dr. Sun!
I recently had to put down my cat. He became sick so quickly. All the staff , techies and vets were caring an compassionate to Conan. When we had finally made the agonizing decision to put him down, everyone was very supportive. Conan went quietly and peacefully in my arms surrounded by his family. Special thanks to Dr. Jonathan Mitelman Thank you for caring so much. Dawn
Every person I've met at VetsToronto has been kind and compassionate, and I know this energy goes a long way with my pets. I've been super impressed with the vet's flexibility and friendliness, and having them nearby is a comfort. The level of service here is exceptional. There's no designated parking, which seems daunting, but I have been successful parking right in front of the door during every single visit so they are clearly managing their schedule well! COVID protocols are well-handled here, but I'm looking forward to a time when I can see everyone's smiles!
The staff I interacted with were so kind, patient, and understanding during a very difficult time. I appreciate how smooth and easy things went for me and my sweet cat. Thank you!
I brought in my 4ft boa constrictor (snake) because she had a bacterial infection that was causing her not to be able to breathe. The doctor and front staff were very kind and loved my snake . they even took photos with her. When it came to billing they were realistic prices and allowed me to decide what I wanted from what the doctor decided needed to be done. When I had decided to only go with the meds the doctor came in and showed me how I would inject her and where. I really like this vet and would bring my animals back there any time !!! Thank you !!
I more than appreciate all the hard work that this clinic does for their clients AND new clients. I had a great experience with the staff and the Doctor. They are quick to respond and get the proper care your pets needs. Please consider this clinic for your furbabies!!! ❤️
WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!! They were so good to my dog and so straightforward, I appreciated that. I came to check out the new ownership because I saw some new posters and such, so thought I'll take my dog here for a check up to see. And they turn out be great! Good job on the refresh!
Booked an appointment a few weeks ago as this is the sister clinic to our normal vet and this location is closer to our house. Our appt was cancelled because they had a COVID issue but no one called us to say the clinic was closed. We simply showed up at our time and saw hey weren’t open. This should have been a sign. We were able to rebook for this afternoon and the appt was for 5 pm. They had over a month to get our records transferred from the sister clinic but never did. Our dog is 13 yes old with many issues and his patient history is very important. When the vet finally called (35 minutes after being dropped in) she had no clue of his past history, blood results, medications etc. I didn’t think I would have to know his records inside and out and when I conveyed my displeasure they didn’t have his records the vet said it wasn’t “her job” as if that makes it better. The end result was her asking me questions I didn’t have the answer to and my response of saying, “if you had his records you’d know the answer” was apparently enough for her to refuse to continue with the appt. Overall a brutal experience, would never consider going back.
Very efficient and on-time. Great with my puppy, who is a nervous girl. Follow-up calls a nice touch to make sure all is well.
I had to leave my elderly dog alone with the vet for tests (due to covid restrictions) even though it was my first visit to this clinic I had to trust all would go well. The staff were so kind and helpful and the vets very professional, followed up regularly and were very caring. My senior dog Cao was taken care of well and I am thankful for that.
My 1.5 year old dog was having some issues so I took it over to see Dr Sun. She was really nice and thoroughly checked on our dog. The service was great and the cost was affordable compared to other emergency clinics. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Sun.
Each time I had a concern, the VetsToronto team was always available and open to communicate with me; they promptly answer all of my concerns and follow up to ensure my little puppy is well. They amaze me each and every time I visit.
Good service, excellent staff
VetsToronto have been fantastic at a time we really needed them. During this pandemic, they were the only clinic who were willing to take in my aggressive (feral-like) cat. They were really professional in the covid protocols, and were able to help Abby. After the appointment requiring sedative, the doctor contacted us to make sure she was doing okay... two days in a row! We will definitely be using this vet again, and I'd strongly recommend them
Wonderful experience with helping my little furry child when she was in pain. Quick diagnosis and advise going forward
VetsToronto is great! With the Covid restrictions preventing human companions from coming inside with their pets, the system for dropping off my dog, speaking with the vet, paying, asking questions, etc., was flawless and easy. Highly recommend!
I needed an emergency vet appt over the holiday. Vets Toronto stepped up! They are caring, compassionate and wonderful. So happy that i found them!
They always have my Dog's best interests in mind and have performed surgery on him many times for a recurring health problem. He was perfectly fine after each operation and post op care was provided with generosity. The only issue is that wait times to see a vet can be quite long, but this is a small trade off for their great staff and pet care.
The best care we’ve found for our senior cat. FOH staff and docs are top notch and genuinely care. Highly reccomend.
I have been going here for 35 years and think the staff are truly amazing. They are kind, respectful and always go the extra mile. When one of my cats was dying, who was terrified of going to the vet, they came to my house to put her to sleep, for which I shall be forever grateful. Dr. Mitelman is mine and my son's hero, and I cannot speak highly enough of him. I would totally recommend them to anyone who is looking for outstanding care for their pets
Managed to give us a last minute appointment. Receptionist and vet were extremely nice. Vet was great, providing detailed input. Sparkling new facility. Not our regular vet but would highly recommend.
went in for an appointment was charged 600 for my first appointment and i only wanted a check up they said they did all the care that was needed without even asking this place cares about money and nothing else
We were very happy with the service and availability.
I went to vetstoronto since my regular vet was closed for two weeks. I was disappointed in the way I was approached at the door. Reception desk support was not very friendly - on all three occasions I had to come in - so not a one off. Silly not funny jokes when asking if my cat had been in pain. No parking closeby so you block a lane on a busy road stopping in front of the door. They are more expensive. They are not sharing vaccination and other updates with my regular vet - although they advertise to be sister vets- and I need to keep sending reminders. I really didn’t get any feedback about the specifics of the exam of my dog - he’s 12+ with severe heart disease ... at a usual exam I get an update on his heart murmur, or anything that can be noticed at a regular exam. What I did like was that they’re open late, which worked well for me. However, I will never go back again. It thought it was a waste of money. I should have waited two weeks but thought to do good as both my cat and dog needed a check up and vaccines.
Over the past month I have been dealing with multiple issues with my 5 year old dog that started with an emergency visit at 8:30 pm to the Vets Toronto Kingston Road Animal Hospital where I saw Dr. Lucia Delgado. Throughout this past month and through various issues I have encountered, the team was great. They not only were very supportive on the first night, but followed up with check in calls for the following few days after each visit since then (I had to go in 2 more times). This past week, I had to take my dog to a neurologist and the next day Dr. Delgado followed up with me directly after she received the neurologist report to make sure I was comfortable with the approach and answer any questions. I really value Dr. Delgado's approach and advice and would highly recommend her and have been very happy with the clinic to date.
The ppl there are very friendly and accommodating
After realizing that my cat, Theo may be experiencing Urinary Blockage/ tract infection and my vet was fully booked, I was referred to Kingston Vet Clinic as an emergency. Kingston Clinic was the only vet clinic that was available because all of the emergency / after-hours clinics in my area were full. Dr. Delgado took her time to listen to my concerns and staff immediately assessed Theo and began medical procedures. She was very professional yet personal and prescribed a protocol that I felt comfortable with. I also wish to recommend Samantha, the Vet Technician for explaining the exact information I needed to know about Theo's new dietary needs, medications and follow up steps. Samantha is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. Theo was treated with care and I was reassured that he was going to be back to himself. I definitely recommend and thank the whole team for their outstanding work. Great Experience! Susan Chazi And Family (Buddy n Lilli n Theo)
Vets Toronto truly cares about our little fur babies. We just got a new French Bulldog puppy and we took him in for his 7 week check up to make sure baby Hughie is healthy. The vets truly care about our little baby and it’s officially made us want to keep bringing him to this clinic. We are so so happy with their service. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby Hughie.
Thank you, Samantha and Dr. Robson, for looking after Chloe so expertly and compassionately in her last moments. It is very difficult for a pet owner to lose a dear companion. I will forever be grateful to you both, and to the staff, for your professionalism and kindness during this time. I wish you all the very best!
I visited this clinic last night during extended hours. Our dog was vomiting throughout the day and we wanted a professional to take her vitals and provide suggestions for next steps. Thankfully vitals were fine, however, our visit to this clinic was anything but. The veterinarian we saw appeared annoyed, condescending and completely uninterested in treating our dog. For example, when I inquired about side effects for a suggested injection, her response was simply that all drugs have side effects. The veterinarian was visibly off and aside from purchasing some gastrointestinal dog food (which she didn’t even provide feeding instructions for - thankfully the front desk did) I decided not to act on any of her treatment recommendations. I was told multiple times that the clinic would call the following day to checkup on our dog but not surprisingly the call didn’t transpire either. I’m grateful extended hour clinics exist but I only recommend visiting this particular establishment as an absolute last resort.
Super nice staff-- never make me feel like a crazy dog mom with all my weird anxiety about my pup. I always leave feeling really positive about my dog's experience here and the doc seems super knowledgable/reliable. They're a little pricier than other places I've been to, but I personally think it's worth it and would definitely recommend.
Stress free process. Dropped off my cat to the technician at the front door. Clinic called me when it was time to back to get her.
Dr. Delgado and the staff of Vets Toronto run a tight ship, and really give us piece of mind every time our dog needs to go there. He has had one surgery there and the quality of the stitches was excellent - never had any worry with infection and healed very quickly! Highly recommend Dr. Delgado and this Veterinary Clinic!
Bad parking options
My dogs are my babies. I trust VetsToronto Kingston Road Animal Hospital with them. Everyone here is always so kind. Dr. Pusong has been our vet for over 15 years. He has taken care of all my dogs and is the kindest doctor and so caring. Always ready to answer any questions I may have. He was very loving and kind towards my dogs and supported me when it was time for me to let them go. I adopted 2 boys 3 years ago and I continue to take them to Dr. Pusong. He always greets us with a smile and my boys love him. I would highly recommend VetsToronto, the staff is so welcoming!
I had an experience at the vet with my dog here that absolutely exceeded my expectations, the customer service over the phone was proffesional and spoken with clarity , they provided me with a few options that actually fit my limiting schedule. i showed up a little late to my appointment and was sure i would be turned away as i was their last appointment but none the less Ralfi was seen and is all better now all thanks to the team. Extra points to Hunter for keeping me calm. Keep on smiling
I have been a customer of this place since Dr Morris Sampson opened in 1985. They have treated our 3 dogs and 5 cats and us very well! Thank you JimKempton
They treated me well and took care of bear in a fast manner, even thou I was early. The price was cheaper then I expected too
Worst experience i had so far at a vet. Bad service, not professional, condescending, lack of empathy and any basic support when you have a really sick pet. It is really sad to see people behaving this way, when it is basically a place that is supposed to provide support and care for your sick and vulnerable pet. Please be careful and think twice before trusting them with your family member.
I want to thank Dr Pusong, Samantha, Caitlin and who ever helped me that day say good bye to my little girl. You all made such a devistating time bearable. I can't thank you all enough for your warm words, smooth process, and heart felt empathy.
Amazing place to take your love ones
They were really good with my dog and helped him out so much. I was able to see him before he went in for surgery, my dog is a psychiatric service dog in training. All the staff explained everything to me in a way I would understand what was going on with him and they saved him. I'm so thankful for all the staff that work at this clinic, I would be so lost without my dog.
The team at Vets Toronto are fantastic. I really believe they care about my dog and their actions show it. After my dog was taken to a hospital visit over the weekend, they followed up a few days later (to my complete surprise) to ask how he was doing and if any follow up should happen. I was really impressed and pleased to hear from them. I fully recommend this location.
Really great service and care
It was perfect. We were met by an incredibly friendly and helpful team who made us feel a lot more comfortable in our first week with our brand new kitten. Receiving a follow-up call was an unexpected and very welcome surprise. Great hospital, great people. Thank you!
The people here were great and fit in my dog Pippa who was suffering from fall allergies. It was short notice and my regular vet was closed. They were very friendly and gave Pippa the medication she needed.
They are an incredible group of caring people taking care of our dog. Very understanding to our feelings and sympathetic to our concerns.
First time there and amazing experience. Very thorough and thoughtful. You can tell they really care, and happy we chose them to be the vet clinic for our dog.
I was initially pleased with my cats appointment but while waiting for results she didn't get better I called them for the next course of action only to find out they already had her results and no one called me. I asked them to email me information regarding the food to help with her bladder crystals to just get a phone call again asking of I wanted to purchase the food. I never got the email. Tragically my cat passed away that night (I'm not blaming them for that as i believe it was unrelated to the issue I went to them for). They called me the next day to discuss the results with me because they were unaware that I had already found out. They just seem unorganized. I was very dissapointed with their communication.
Dr. Pusong is kind, compassionate and will spend the time necessary to discuss prognosis and potential remedies. In the end, Ginger, our geriatric kitty, did not make it but Dr. Pusong was a wealth of support and information during the struggle to save her. In addition, Dr. Delgado has also given superb and loving care to our cat, Boo, in the past. Between the two of them, you are sure to receive exceptional service from this clinic. Thank you Dr. Pusong and Dr. Delgado. Your care and compassion is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten.
Support Staff are polite efficient and responsive. Marisa is number 1. TaKed only to Vet Dr Pusong but explained verbally meds for my feline Banjo and to followup if any problems,
Caring people - that relate to me and to my pets.
Great help and quick response to our emergency.
Best Vet Clinic in the City... I've been to a few.... I have a cat with some medical issues, and this is the only clinic that actually followed up and called just to see how he is doing. 10 star clinic!
Yesterday night was a very scary night for me. My dog Toby's face swelled up like a basketball. I had no idea what was happening. I googled a vet that was still open as it was 10pm. I called the first vet I saw and it was this one and I am so happy I did. The person who answered the phone heard the panic in my voice and just said come in don't worry. I grabbed Toby and we went. Let me preface this with saying that Toby is deathly afraid of the vet and has never allowed a single vet to give him a shot or do anything to him for that matter. The customer service was amazing, they kept me up-to-date, told me what happened and were able to give Toby a shot!!! That alone blew my mind. From start to finish tbey were absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier that something so scary led me to an amazing new vet. I have changed over from my old vet to VetsToronto and I am recommending them to everyone I know and don't know. They are professional, sweet, caring and will make you feel comfortable even in the most uncomfortable situations. So to the VetsToronto team, Toby and I thank you for everything you did for us ????
MOLLY loves Dr. Ron Pusong and staff. She was formerly a pet patient at BANKS and transferred to VETS TORONO KINGSTON. Same friendly, caring staff and now we can shop online for vet approved food and products. They send out helpful newsletters, and remember each of their furry patients names. That is important to me that they treat Molly as special as she is to me.
Punctual, respectful, friendly and warm. You work in this field because you love animals...and the fact that as loving animal custodians, we walk away also feeling cared for is a bonus.
I went into the clinic today and was greeted by their welcoming staff. Brendan and Dr. Delgado de la Flor made me and my cats experience stress free. Their attention to my concerns and the care they gave to my cat was great. They didn't recommend any unnecessary treatment like I've encountered at other clinics and were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this clinic!
The team of Vets Toronto has done a tremendous job to treat Romeo! They were so friendly, welcoming, they took the time to answer all my questions and to calm me down. Very professional and reliable. They also charge reasonably compared to other vet clinics. Highly recommend!!!
My animal (cat) was seen quickly and the discussion with the vet was thorough, informative and he answered all my questions. It’s a good system you’ve devised for this unique period in time. Thanks
Our pup was diagnosed with parvo and had to to hospitalized for about a week. Dr. Barrientos was able to squeeze us in very last minute on a busy day to do the parvo testing which came back positive and was hospitalized immediately. She was treated by Dr. Pusong who was extremely kind and meticulous in treating our puppy. He also tried his best to keep the cost as affordable as possible and always asked us for approval before going ahead with anything we weren't made aware of prior. The technicians that looked after our puppy Samantha and Brendan were so patient, friendly and very informative regardless of how many times we called everyday for an update. Everyone at the clinic was so kind and really cares for the pets they look after. We are forever grateful for everyone at Vets Toronto Kingston Animal Hospital for saving our puppy's life!
Dr. Lucia Delgado De La Flor was through and patient in her explanations, was able to squeeze us in with a short notice appt when our regular vet wasnt available. Overall average experience with added points for convenience but deducted points for the one hour road side wait for examination and another hour road side wait to have shots and blood taken.
This is not our regular vet but they were open today when we needed a last minute appointment. Our dog was having a bit of an emergency and they were able to see us within 30 minutes! The doctor was very kind and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend them!
Brought Phoenix (10m old rottie) in for an exam. They suggested to do x-rays which ultimately turned up a tennis ball in her stomach! The explanation of options for removal & helping to coordinate with the emergency clinic for surgery were unparalleled and kept us as calm as possible. The even called to check up on her a day later. Thank you to all on the team!
Vets Toronto Kingston Road Animal Hospital saved my sweet pup. Dr Delgado is an amazing vet and person. During this crazy time for all of us, I had no where to get my four year old pup taken care of. Dr Delgado called me and made me feel calm in this time of so much anxiety. We brought our girl in to her and right away Dr D figured out what was wrong. She did her surgery and our Emma was fixed up. Vets Toronto is Emma's new Vet clinic. It so true, that in very difficult situations the true heroes shine. Dr Delgado and her staff are all shining stars that save our animals especially during this scary time for all of us. They remain open so our sweet fur kids will get the care they need. I can not wait for this virus to pass so Emma can go visit the clinic to say hi to all her new friends there. Also as an interesting fact, Emma right away was loving Dr G. This has never happened before. My dog was injured but still had it in her to start licking and really loving Dr Delgado. Thank you again Vets Toronto!!! We will never forget how you helped our girl.
Wish I could rate this place zero stars. Absolutely horrible service, our family has been taking our two dogs here for 12 years now and consistently are pushed to spend ridiculous amounts of money on unnecessary vaccinations and tests. The vets that we have had in the last few years just want to get down to business and want to quote "talk money later". Today Dr. Eugene Alexeev was uneducated on our dogs files and not understanding at all when we asked for explanations on each vaccination in order to determine which were really necessary. This place is a total cash grab and I am not convinced that the vets we have had even care about the animals they treat. Only positive thing to say about this place is that Esther at reception is lovely, genuine and personable and seems to really care about clients and their pets. Only vets that our family has ever had a positive experience with have left this animal hospital.. wonder why. The cherry on top today had to be when the vets assistant was incredibly unpleasant and unskilled. While our dog was getting his vaccination she had no grip on him even after we told her that he was going to squirm. He was poked and prodded with a needle with no success and no apology from her when I stepped in and did it myself because I couldn't bare to watch the repeated attempts and failures any longer. DISGUSTING.
The staff's were amazing and the hours of operation is really helpful especially when they are open on Sunday's. Had to get my senior dog checked out because he had a urinary infection, while most vets in the area were closed on Sunday's, Vets Toronto was available to help out. Thank you to all the staff members at Vet's Toronto Kingston Rd for helping us out and thank you for being available during these tough times. Stay safe everyone!
I have brought my cat to this clinic for years. My cat has gone through surgery here years ago and the vets have been nothing short of amazing. I brought my cat in today and Dr. Barrientos was great. He explained everything and gave me all my options. My cat was sent home on fluids and some other things to help his digestive issues and he is already feeling much better. I don't feel like this clinic is a money grab, at all and I truly feel they care about your pet. Their prices are far far far better than any other clinic in the city. The other team members were incredibly helpful too and answered any questions I had in a very friendly manner. If you want a vet to trust come here.
Brought my dog ???? in two times and was very impressed with the service and care.
Dr. Pusong takes great care of Pickles, our special boy :)
I went to Vets Toronto over a week ago with the suspicion that my cat had ingested something he shouldn’t have. My regular vet was fully booked so they suggested me to go to Vets Toronto as it was their sister clinic. Although they were prompt and the receptionist was very nice, I was not happy with the vet who took care of my cat. She was not forthright about the diagnostic methods. I also did not understand she was saying over the phone. I was not allowed inside due to covid precautions. She first said that we need to do an X-ray, after the X-ray didn’t display any abnormalities, she was trying to get us to agree to doing 3 more X-rays and blood tests as well medications. I unknowingly agreed to an injection over the phone, which I later found out after looking at the receipt. I kept asking her to clarify what she was saying. I was overall very exasperated and eager to take Coco home. He is fine now.
Good service, very thorough and informative. Received a follow up call to check in and make sure everything was okay the next day with my pet, which I really appreciated! Have a nice app also to jeep track of pet personal details, and upcoming dates scheduled for shots etc. Very Impressed with that :) Will definitely bring my pet back!
Outstanding care! Can't thank the Doctors and staff enough for all the care and support they gave to our dog Lily. After she was attacked by another dog, we rushed her to Kingston Road. After several surgeries, daily care and lazer treatments, It was a tough long road to recovery but she made it! The dedicated staff helped us through this challenging time with attention to detail, constant care, support, communication and top notch expertise. We are very grateful and want them to know Lily is doing well! We will see you all again.
october 2 2021 my dog AL was brought in for a itching problem I spoke with Dr. shimura about the itching and a small cut from him scratching, I asked her for Apoquel for AL she said she would have some meds ready but what l received was clavaseptin and a neck sock and a bill.gave him one pill that day but the itch got worse so l gave one more pill the next morning and another that night. that night he itched so bad l thought he would eat himself!. call the vet that morning for the apoqual and another bill but just one apoqual that day AL was calm with a bit of a itch but doing much better, as for the other pills they could not be return as they were no use to AL or me, that is money lost as the apoqual calmed him!!!
The ladies that took care of my puppy (he’s not a puppy he’s 4) are amazing! I know it’s their job to love and care for all dogs but I always get worried about how people look at my dog because he’s a bully mix.. people on the street look at him like he’s such a bad dog but he’s the sweetest! Thank you to this team for caring for him the way you did/do! So appreciated!
Absolute amazing customer service! Our female, Harley just recently gave birth and it was our first visit. The dr gave us a call shortly and notified us that she didn’t feel any more puppies in her stomach. We appreciate the clinics honesty and saved us $$. Many vets care about the money more than their clients! This is our first visit and definitely will not be the last! On behalf of Harley and I, we thank you so very much ♥️
My dog Phoebe received the best care here. It’s so stressful to drop your dog off (during covid times) and not be able to go in with your sick dog. Dr Sun called me and was so incredibly kind and reassuring. They gave everything Phoebe needed and called the next day twice to check in on her. <3 I was really worried about the cost being extended hours coverage but they were the same price I pay with my regular vet and didn’t ask to do any unnecessary testing.
I feel this review is long overdue. I've been a client here since December 2014, both my female peruvian guinea pigs Cocoa and Caramel received the best of care under Dr. Mitelman and Dr. Satha. The first time I came to this hospital was for Caramel, who had a cyst rupture. Little did I know that in the coming years, 3 surgeries would follow for Caramel, as well as 3 surgeries for Cocoa either for more cysts, ovarian cysts, tumours, spay, ect. They both recovered well, and Cocoa passed away October 6th 2017, whereas Caramel passed away March 26th, 2018. Both were 5 1/2 years of age when they passed. Thank you for looking after my sweet girls throughout their troubles.
