They say one thing and lead you on to get you to buy in. They once did a full dental cleaning and x rays on my cat because they thought something was wrong with his teeth. And nothing was wrong. His back teeth just eroded naturally. A second thing is that they gave me a quote online about boarding services and then the real price i was billed was much higher. Looking for a new vet right now. Edit: my cat has just passed. Initially he got lost in December. I was looking for him ever since. We found a body in march and vca was willing to send me his dental records by email. And im truly thankful. Im thankful also he got xrays done or i wouldnt be able to match him to his body. Adding two stars for their sensitivity now. Thats so important

This clinic is the most outstanding facility I have ever brought my dogs to. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind hearted. They take the time to explain all of the pricing, and ensure your animals are as comfortable as possible during their stay with them; which is something I appreciate immensley, as my dogs tend to be a little nervous when they arrive. I have seen some negative reviews for this facility - which is understandable, as you can't please every client - but rest assure this clinic is amazing and you will not regret bringing your animals here! Easy to distrust between sky-rocketing prices and constantly 'needing' to examine your dog in back rooms without you. Never heard of that before this place and as a pet owner, that can easily make you anxious. The doctor I had for years, assured me for 8 months that something I had noticed about my dog was nothing. My first visit at my new clinic- WHICH WAS NOT EVEN FOR AN EXAM- ONLY FOR A NAIL TRIM- the doctor noticed the issue and actually identified the cause FREE OF CHARGE and prescribed a medication. An issue my poor pup suffered with for 8 months has now disappeared in 2 weeks with a new and actually attentive doctor who examined her in front of me, as he should. the kicker? the old doctor assured me time and time again there was nothing wrong upon inspection of the site. the new doctor was able to SHOW ME signs of irritation and infection that were easily visible if one took the time to look. Expensive $$$$ does not mean they are any better. don't let your pets suffer the consequences of going here. I will never make this mistake again

Don't let the very few bad reviews hinder your opinion of this clinic, they're fantastic!! Everyone is really friendly and patient, every step of every process is clearly explained, prices are clearly stated, and it's very easy to see how much everyone cares about animals. Just remember, not everyone is easy to please and there will always be disatisfied people, but listen to the majority: this clinic rocks!!

Was quoted $61 for a cat checkup. During visit was told a quote would be provided prior to any procedures. That was good. The billing was in the $80 's for the exam not $60. She said the prices were changed as of today. There was a $57 charge for a return visit. Turns out they advance bill then refund you the next visit. There was a $50 fee to shave some hair and swab a small infection. I felt that should have been part of the $60 experience and said no. An antibiotic was agreed on and the vet was going to take my cat with her to another room to administer the shot which I'd never seen in all the years of vet visits. I declined that and requested her to bring the shot and administer it with me present which she did. Left a little unsettled. Realized later the vet didn't check for fleas...somewhat a basic thing that should be done...anyway the staff and vet were all pleasant.

I absolutely love them . We take our 2 cats and our puppy for check ups and medical needs. They are so friendly and helpful. They actually listen and offer helpful advice. Juniper Lily, Bella and Roxie love them too.

Asked the vet over the phone if they have a guarantee on their vaccinations, basically stating that if they give my pup a needle, he won’t die, they couldn’t guarantee anything.. That drew a red flag in my eyes, then when I arrived they asked that I sit in the room.. We found out that our puppy only legally needs Rabies, which he was too young to take, he’s 10 weeks, and he needs to be 14, so we were ready to leave.. Then the ladies at the front desk asked that I pay for an examination, which was not even done, they didn’t look at the pup other than the vet petting him when she walked in.. Very nice Vet, high charging, un-delivering, facility. I was asked not to return when I refused to pay their made up $56 charge… I happily left that facility free of charge Would not recommend anyone come to this facility

My first appointment with this clinic for my 5 year old dog. He was due for his annual vaccination plus he started having seizures a week earlier. The staff has been completely efficient, professional and pleasant to deal with. Everything has been explained fully to me, including the fees I would be billed for all his care. The clinic was clean, well laid out and a tv in one section. The only negative which is common to almost every clinic I've ever been in is that there's no hitching post. Hard to rummage through a purse or pockets while holding on to a dog. There should be a hook on the wall to attach the leash to. Appointment times so far have been completely convenient.

Do not bring your animals here for a check up unless you want to mortgage your house. The staff is nice, agreed, however, I have a small dog that has a collapsed trachea and an enlarge heart. I have been bounced around to three different clinics and they all say different things. I did a follow up today as I was given a recommendation and all of a sudden that recommendation was in correct. I will never bring my animals to this clinic again and I am filing a complaint against this doctor and clinic. People be aware.........

I have been taking my little guy to the team at Morningside Pet Hospital since the day he joined our family. The entire staff have been a pleasure to interact with. I have never seen a dog so excited to actually go into a veterinary office before, it literally takes most of my strength to hold Bentley from pulling me flat on my face. I can tell by my little guys demeanor that he truly feels comfortable visiting the vet's. I know the entire staff treats all patients as if they were their own. I feel truly relieved that my little guy is in good hands with the staff at Morningside Pet Hospital. On a side note, I always Google Morningside Pet Hospital in order to get the phone number to call, and recently I noticed a "not so positive" review and was quite shocked. Please don't let the opinion of a few dissuade you from the wonderful people here. This is truly a "one of a kind" establishment and you wont regret taking your companions here.

By far the friendliest team I have ever met. My girl has been going to this vet since the day that I got her. She is never happy to go there (but not aggressive towards the workers). She just gives them a hard time by pulling away or hiding. They never seem to get annoyed and I am usually quite embarrassed because she is so stubborn. They remember that my dog is blind and always lets me know when other animals are coming or leaving so I can hold her. But they do have high prices (my dog was barely there overnight) & they couldn't find out what was wrong with her and we paid $1000. The only advantage to this was she got fluids and medicine that helped her get better. We paid for different tests and examinations and they couldn't give me a straight cause. Overall, I really like it and I recommend it to others due to the friendliness of these workers.

With the most difficult decision of putting our beloved senior dog down, my vet clinic changed the rules 5 hours before my scheduled appointment and told me I could not be with my dog when they put her down. We called VCA Morningside and the staff was so compassionate and was able to schedule my appointment for the same day and allow me in room for the procedure. The room was calm and comfortable for both me and my dog. I can’t thank you all enough for allowing me to be with my dog during one of the most difficult times and showing such compassion and care for end of life procedures. Thank you again for making one of my hardest days a little more peaceful. I am truly grateful.

The staff is nice, however, the place is extremely overpriced. I had to wait for 20 minutes for the vet. The vet spent with us 2 minutes max. I was shocked to see that the charge for this visit was $100! This is an equivalent of $3,000 per hour! Ridiculously overpriced! save your money, take your pet somewhere else.

In the past 2 years I have had to put both my fur babies down and choose this vet. I truly love and appreciate all they have done to care for my babies, i just picked up my 16 year old dogs ashes, I have never taken my dog there as a normal vet appoinent but they cared for her as if they have seen her her whole life! When I picked up my babies ashes today the girl was so sweet! And when I got home I was greated by a letter in the mail that moved me and put me to tears! They truly care about your animals as family and thats such a big thing for any pet owner. A few vets I called didnt even have a private room they have you sit on the floor to go threw the whole process with your loved ones. Here! They give you a private room with a couch you can sit on, take all the time you need, are kind and respectful they understand how hard it is and for that I truly appreciate everything you guys have done. If I could give a 10star Review I would! Your team made this hard thing to do just that much for easier. The personal written card from Sarah touched my heart. You and your team are wonderful!

I've never experienced a vet like this place.. very helpful staff go above and beyond anything I could possibly imagine for my little girl (10 month doberman) we got her about 4 months back and were unaware she had a broken leg prior to her coming to us which has caused significant damage which is unrepairable at this time.. givin our situation and everything going on VCA Morningside has gone above and beyond any expectations from calling just about every surgeon there is for options on my girls leg after exhausting every possible option im 1000 percent on there decision, not only have they gone above and beyond for her care but they go above and beyond for the parents to. I've seen some vets in my life with passed experiences not being as pleasant or feeling the vets only care about money. I dont feel that at all with VCA Morningside I'd recommend them to anyone needed any type of vet service big or small VCA Morningside is in my opinion the best thing that happened to us in our current situation i couldn't have made it this far without them and there continued support I honestly believe our girl has a chance at a happy mostly healthy life because of VCA Morningside. They will forever be my choice for any veterinarian services

Used to be a great place to take your dog. Was taken over by the CANDY BAR CO. MARS. Prices are high compared to other vets. That are not owned by huge corporations. Do not use them that's my advice from my recent experiences. I'm still amazed this place is still open so glad for my dogs I left. Have a Veterinarian that now looks at my dogs not just interested in charging overpriced fees. They used to care . What happened The Mars Co. Bought them. My dog Thug has been a patient there since he was 4 months old . He use to walk around the office behind the counter giving and getting all the love. Unfortunately due to a new dr Dr cheng and new staff . My dig now is labled aggressive and has to be sedated. My obediently trained dog who took his first needles there has to be muzzled and again labeled aggressive . Im offended and totally disrespected by they people i thought cared about my dog . New people new attitude i guess now my dog carries a label because of inexperience and lack of caring Mike germiquet once loyal
