My 10 year old cat and I have moved around alot and have never found a vet clinic we really jived with. After moving to Scarborough we found Beaches-Fallingbrook Vet Clinic on a 'near you' Google map search. We made an appointment based on its closeness to our home but after a few visits we realized we always left with such confidence in our pets health. Dr. Matt Haghighat is absolutely wonderful. He clearly loves all animals. He is professional yet warmly charasmatic. He is thorough, reassuring and won't suggest unnecessary tests and treatments for your fur babies to make an extra buck. Its so obvious he cares about you and your pets. The services are super affordable and front desk administration is amazingly friendly, accomadated and knowledgable. I couldn't recommend this vet clinic more highly. We love it here, we love Dr. Matt and now that we have a second cat, we feel comforted by the fact that we have a great vet clinic to rely on.

I came to this clinic with my foster dog and the person who greeted us at the front desk was so pleasant and kind to Sorbet and myself. When I picked her up after her spay Dr. Sam Shahsavari spent time going over all my questions about her and explaining the aftercare. Everyone at the clinic were very professional and knowledgeable. Sorbet's stitches were barely visible and healed really well. Great clinic!

We adopted Tofu from Redemption Paws but he has heart worm, hence, we have been working with BF with his treatments. The vet tech Melanie and vet are responsive and they treat him with love and respect. Tofu also has diarrhea and little coughs here and there, they gave us extra medication to help him and it was done on timely fashion as well. A little improvement: the vet is quite busy and sometimes, we would leave voice mails and waiting for the return. Maybe just more prompt returns, but I know it's difficult with the packed schedule. Again, we are very appreciative of your support. We understand and we love you! Thank you.

I honestly can't say enough great things about Beaches-Fallingbrook and the team here. They are incredibly responsive and answer all of my questions whether I've emailed or am talking directly to Dr. Sam or Dr. Matt on the phone. And being a first time dog owner, I have a lot of questions! My dog has had to have more than average vet visits due to her previous circumstances (5 visits in 3 months) and every time we go, she runs in the door without looking back, excited to greet the team here.

I had a horrible vetting experience every single time I went. The girls at the front had no knowledge of my dog, despite him being there many times. When my dog stayed overnight, they took the leash I had, and let my dog completely destroy his leash, and didn’t think to hand it back to me.... I wish they used common sense to removed the leash and use one of theirs, as my leash was quite expensive. when I’ve been called to pick up medication, only to have to wait 30 minutes while they find it....and it was right on the counter the whole time. I also explained how my dog had blood in his stool, to which the Vet said “oh, it’s only colitis” without even looking at my dog, or even asking questions.... I went to another vet and found out he had some more issues beyond Colitis. I’m so happy to never have to go back here again. I do not recommend.

He is an amazing person and very knowledgeable. Took such good care of her and calls to see how she is doing. He treated her for an ear infection and then did some dental work on her. Kept her overnight and didn't even charge me - just wanted to make sure she would be ok. Wow. They run everything past you ahead of time so no surprises. Reasonable prices, and he only suggests what you need. I give them an A+++. So happy I found this clinic and Dr. Matt !!! ????

My labrador mix Kiki came in with a serious Pyometra condition. She was extremely sick and could not pick herself up. The staff was so courteous and accommodating. Despite being an older dog, Kiki underwent surgery anyway. She was required to stay overnight and we appreciate the vet's kind gesture to check on Kiki several times all throughout the night. It has been a week and Kiki is fully recovered and back to her usual bouncy self! We want to thank Beaches-Fallingbrook Vet Clinic so much for saving our pet's life and for their outstanding service!

I couldn’t praise these guys more. I love them and this clinic so much. In December of 2017 I adopted two mini poodle mixes from the rescue redemption paws. Dr Sam and dr Matt treat all of the dogs through redemption paws. I had gone to them a few times post adoption, but then later opted to go to a vet clinic closer to my home. I would later come to regret that decision. After that clinic gouged me money, time, and my sanity I went back to dr Sam and dr matt. These two couldn’t be kinder humans. They genuinely care for animals. They don’t blind you with cost, and they are very communicative. I will never go to anyone except these too, and will gladly take the Uber charge to make it over to Scarborough even though I live downtown Toronto. Trust these two, you won’t regret it! I’ll be bringing my cat there for his annual check up come the spring. And another thanks guys, for being decent human being with a love for animals. You guys rock!

They have taken over care of our senior dog...patiently refilling prescriptions, taking last minute appointments to see him when he was declining and eventually assisting in putting him down in a very humane, respectful and caring manor. They made sure it was at the end of the day so that we had the privacy we needed, and they gave us as much time as we needed to say good-bye and mourn. They also suggested, we can settle our bill another time - what a classy and caring gesture. I highly recommend these professionals at this clinic and as a bonus, they do not gouge with unaffordable prices. Lastly, the reception staff is also always very helpful and kind.

In March 2018, my cat Nigella suddenly stopped eating and was chronically vomiting. It was 5:30 in the evening and no vet would see her until the next day; that is until I called beaches- fallingbrook, spoke to Dr. Matts and he agreed to see her that evening at 7pm! Long story short, she had multiple x-rays, surgery to remove a foreign object, stayed one night and follow up. At the end of all this, my cat has fully recovered, and is now flourishing. The overall cost was fair & less than what my usual vet charges. Thanks Dr. Matts and Dr. Sam. Highly recommended and will return.

This place is clean, nice and convenient. The doctors are responsible, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I took my cockatiel there as she was laying egg continuously! They helped my by goving me advice on her diet, location, light exposure and so on. It solved my problem. I saw they were doing x-rays, ultrasound, some lab tests and small surgeries on site.

A caring and trustworthy location! We are relatively new to this location and the service has always been friendly, courteous and exactly what we wanted/expected. Even more so, recently our dog was acting VERY strange. 7 hours had passed where she was highly anxious, rapid heart rate, running back and forth, dilated pupils, we were terrified. We called the office and the vet said to monitor because she was still eating and drinking. If by end of day she was still acting up then bring her in. We were so upset because we were afraid our dog won't make it or get worse. We panicked and took her to another location, spending $400 on blood work and medicine to calm her and told she may have to go to emergency. We were distraught but decided to give her 24 hours. The doctor at Fallingbrook called us at the end of the day to ask how things were going. We explained our day and he said the reason he told us to monitor was because it sounded like THC (cannabis) toxicity and he sees it often with weed being legalized. He suggested she should come down from it and the meds were harmless anti-anxiety drugs but if she's the same by the morning then bring her in. She was better overnight and the doctor again called in the morning to check in. Had we listened to him the first time we would not be down $400. We felt awful that we didn't trust them as the expert care provider for our dog, and they actually knew EXACTLY what was happening. If you made it this far, know that your dog is in trusted, smart hands and they care! Highly recommend.

Very satisfied! So our dog got really sick Saturday night and worse on Sunday. Everywhere including our own vet was closed. We had 3 options, ER (hate vet ERs, just take your money and send you home), another clinic (wanted to charge me $200 bucks just for an assessment!!! and quoted me with a battery of tests over the phone which would have gone over a thousand, so my alarm bells went off) and this clinic. I chose them because they charged the same assessment fee as my own vet and we had no other choice. I am so glad that we came to see Dr. Sam, he explained everything and was not too hasty to offer tests and stuff. Overall his prices were comparable to my own vet and fair. He followed up the next day to check on us and we couldn't be happier with the level of care and compassion. Thank you Dr. Matt & Dr. Sam!

I went to Dr. Matt after my previous vet gave me a quote for proposed treatment of my elderly cat. Since I wouldn't be able to afford the treatment, I went to Dr. Matt for a second opinion on the recommendation of a co-worker who also used to go to my previous vet. Dr. Matt gave me a totally different diagnosis which was proven right after a blood test, he charged about half less for the visit, and he gave me no-nonsense advice and expectations for the future of my cat. I've been to Beaches Fallingbrook with three of my foster dogs (Grover, Caesar and Cisco) from Redemption Paws and the care they've received is excellent. The staff are very friendly and always make sure to explain any treatment/medications needed to me. It's clear that everyone who works in this clinic loves animals. Our very senior dog had an emergency issue today (on a Friday late afternoon) and after calling 6 clinics (multiple ERs including the ER where she sees a specialist) I kept being turned away because everyone was at capacity. Beaches Fallingbrook Vet Clinic are incredibly caring and knowledgeable veterinarians. They go above and beyond for their clients and make you feel very comfortable and that your fur-companion is in the best hands. They even extend themselves well beyond most other vet clinics for Toronto-based dog rescue, Redemption Paws. The vets at this clinic treat Redemption's dogs with incredible care and even stay late on many occasions accommodating incoming dogs. This team is one of the best in Toronto and you and your four-legged (or three-legged!), companions are in excellent, caring hands with Beaches Fallingbrook!!

I can't say enough good things about Beaches-Fallingbrook Vet Clinic. Everyone there, from the warm and caring administrative staff to the incredible Dr. Matt and Dr. Sam, who have seen our furbaby through cancer and numerous emergencies, are the best. On the most recent occasion, our dog ate an entire loaf of raw bread dough, one of the most dangerous things possible. Both Dr. Matt and Dr. Sam, as well as the support staff, stayed after hours to make sure he was ok, performing abdominal surgery late at night. They have called numerous times to make sure he's ok. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our precious dog.

Visited Beaches Fallingbrook Vet Clinic yesterday with our Redemption Paws foster dog. They were wonderful to deal with - from the lovely and accommodating receptionist when I had to change the appointment to the friendly, professional, and strong (lifted 70 lbs of dog off the table!) Dr. Sam Shahsavari - our appointment was a breeze. Dr. Sam was so nice - he helped me push and carry a very scared dog around the clinic when she continuously did her imitation of a throw rug. I know how sweet she is, but he doesn't. Brave man! A big thank you to this clinic for being so generous to Redemption Paws and their rescue dogs.

My precious 11 year old cat, Cookie, was not eating or drinking for a couple of days along with some other symptoms. I cannot tell you how helpful this vet was! They were able to see Cookie last minute, and were very friendly and helpful to me at a time where I was super stressed out about her wellbeing. They have the proper COVID guidelines in place. The front desk staff was extremely friendly on the phone, and Dr. Matt was super helpful. He walked me through her entire diagnostic results, explained me what each and every test meant- and what I should/shouldn't be concerned about. He took his time and helped me find a solution to help my sweet girl back to good health. She came home feeling so much better and I am so grateful! I love this place and will be coming here from now on! Thank you to all the friendly staff here who took such great care of her.

Absolutely fantastic vet hospit. The staff are so kind and accommodating, and Dr. Matt took such great care of my sick cat. He explained procedures, tests and results to me patiently and in detail, making sure I understood everything, and gave me as much time as I needed for questions. I felt that he truly cared and appreciate the time he gave me. What really stood out and made this experience even better is that he referred to my cat as "your baby", which she is. I had taken my dog here for an eye issue that I had assumed was either an eye infection or something inside the eye I could not see. This was my first experience at this clinic and it was less than an okay first impression. There were a few things that caught me off guard. First being that they never presented me with a treatment plan breaking down the cost of the treatment and meds associated. Secondly the bill came to close to $400 for 3 eye drops and an anti-inflammatory which I discontinued after 2 days of use because it irritated him more than before and the oral medication made him vomit. The clinic never once called to check up on my dog to make sure everything was going okay and I was told to call for follow up. I have worked at clinics before and I have never seen a clinic run this way. During the exam the Dr. did a few eye exams and determined it was an "ulcer" and that if the meds did not work after 10 days they would need to reevaluate. His next course of action would be to do an invasive procedure with a dremel to the eyeball. Long story short this place is a money grab with no follow through for appointments, my dogs eye healed on its own without the excessive meds and diagnosis.

Very friendly and informative staff. The space is quiet and well lit. I was so impressed with how they treated my little shih tzu that I decided to bring my parents 8-year-old berner in while I was house sitting. An anxious rescue with a horrible history, the entire staff was extremely patient and understanding of his needs, even while treating his infected claw. I thought for sure they’d have to put him under, but we managed to cut the nail without anesthetic, and he was calm throughout. I’ve never seen him so well behaved at a veterinary office before!

My Charlie is now 6 and since he was 3 he's been aggressively itching from allergies. I went to three different vets who struggled to identify and help the problem so we've been coping with creams and whatever home remedies I can get by on. I moved into the beaches area a year ago and needed a new vet and annual check up for Charlie so I tried this clinic and on the first visit the vet recommend cytopoint which has been an absolutely life saver for my guy. They're always kind here, always generous and I could not be happier

This is such an amazing place to take your pet. I took my senior Chihuahua 14 year old dog with dental problems Who also has congestive heart failure to his own vet in New York. They were not willing to remove his teeth because it was too risky of a surgery due to his heart condition. While visiting family in Canada my daughter recommended Beaches Falling Brook. I'm so thankful I took him there. They took such gentle care with him and they did the procedure keeping his heart condition in mind. They did a chest X-ray 1st to be safe and then went along with the procedure and the saved my little guy's life. I highly recommend them. You can tell that they care about the animals. My little guy is so much happier now it has so much more energy now that he is not in pain. Considering all of the teeth that the removed he has recovered remarkably fast and well. No bleeding from the mouth after, no major swelling, and he was able to eat right away. It's only been 5 days ago that he had the surgery and he acts like a much younger and happier dog. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
