My kitten Jasper is not a fan of the vets and can get pretty aggressive. The staff at Barriefield are so wonderful and do a wonderful job at keeping him as comfortable and calm as possible under their care they answer any questions I have and are very accommodating. I’m so happy Jasper has such lovely people to help make sure he is happy and healthy even if he is a pain in the butt sometimes!

Dr. Morrison and Dr. Edwards have been caring for our rescue Dalmatians over a period of 10 years - Dr. Morrison for ten and Dr. Edwards for three. Both are patient, concerned and caring practitioners. Having lost several rescue Dals to old age and associated complications, I am grateful to have such honest and supportive partners to comfort us through the palliative care and final stage of our beloved dogs. I am always well informed regarding treatment options, possible side effects, and costs beforehand. I highly recommend this clinic and extended staff to all pet owners.

❤ Barriefield Animal Hospital has been amazing to our family over the years!! We've had several animals including a few with illnesses that require frequent checks and monitoring. They've worked carefully to create and adjust treatment plans that work best for our family. They've always listened to us & treated us with great respect. My rescue cat broke his upper left canine tooth and needed an extraction. I did some research and chose Barriefield because I had heard good things from people I know, and Dr. Megan had a special interest in Dentistry based on the website. If your animal's well being is your biggest priority, as well as awesome customer service and clinic atmosphere, then I HIGHLY recommend bringing your pet to Barriefield Animal Hospital. I took comfort in knowing that Dr. Megan was experienced in dental extractions and the procedure went great! I also love that it's a cat friendly practice. My cat is very shy when taken out if his element and I believe it really made him feel more at ease during his stay :)

Very good service, very kind people! I got an appointment right away when I explained how bad my cat was feeling. They took my cat in even if they were closing soon and explain me what was the situation very quickly. Sadly my cat passed away but they gave me the time I needed to say my goodbyes to him. The only thing it's missing for my point of view is a "Night care" when animal are sick and can't return home but other than that, very thing was perfect. I didn't have the chance to say Thank you to the team because of all the emotion that came throught that day, so THANK YOU very much for your great service!

We have been taking our dogs to Barriefield Animal Hospital (BAH) for the past 15 years. In that time, they have lovingly and professionally cared for our four Old English Sheepdogs. BAH also provides excellent boarding facilities. It has been very reassuring for us to know that our pets are being boarded at their vets where, should any medical issues arise, they can be treated and monitored. We highly value Dr Cameron Morrison's knowledge, compassion and dedication. The entire team follow his example and consistently deliver high quality veterinary services. Most recently we had taken our OES, Winston in to be boarded while we were away on vacation. Winston was scheduled to have a cyst removed while he was being boarded. We received regular up-dates on Winston’s condition via email including reassuring photos of how he was doing. We want to extend a special thanks to Cameron, Sue, Jennifer, Amanda and London for the excellent care they provided to Winston. It is a great relief knowing that he is being loved and cared for while we are unable to be with him.

They saved my puppy. I had been going to another vet for 4 months before going to barriefield and in that time my puppy was being given constant doses of steroids and medications to ease his reoccuring skin condition. The vet told me there was nothing more they could do for me and I called barriefield, they saw me the next day and in one visit with them they determined my dog was sensitive to gluten. Today marks 2 weeks gluten free for my puppy and he's never been happier and never looked better. I can't thank these people enough

I have 1 dog and 3 cats that are seeing by this clinic. They are genuinely caring about animals, the prices are reasonable. Also everytime I call to ask questions (even if it's 2-3 times a week when I get new furry kids) the always help me over the phone; most vet I dealt with in the past wouldn't want to answer and wanted an in-person consultation to get $$$. Barriefield was recommended to me by a friend when I first adopted my dog. Staff were very accommodating with my "new to me" elderly dog and all of my new dog ownership questions. It was evident upon arrival that being a rescue she has had limited and/or negative experiences at the vet. They were very patient and created new positive experiences for her. I have never dealt with the clinic outside of Covid19 but their current protocols have kept visits informative and safe for my dog and myself. Recently, my dog had a surgery and staff fully explained the procedure with full transparency. I was called throughout the visit with updates, as well as checked on the next day. My dog is happily healing and much more comfortable eating. My dog and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Thank you Lily, Emma, Rylie, and Dr. Morrison!

Moved to kingston 3 weeks ago and one of my dog was very sick peeing drops only and blood. Walked in and explain the situation .. the assistant answered me rudely we do not take walk in ! There was no customer. I asked her to ask the vet and she refused ! They clearly don t care about animals even if they advertise on their window Emergency I am a dog show person and own several stud dogs they missed an opportunity to have a customer ! 4 days to have an appointment for an Emergency !!! Your animal can die !!!! I ll make sure my colleague breeders don t go there !!!!!!
