Bambi my Shih Tzu had a terrible eye injury and required 3 surgeries to save her eye. The staff were amazingly accommodating and so generous and caring. Bambi got her surgeries which were all successful and she still has two eyes! The vet was amazing and despite all the things Bambi went through she still runs in every time with her tail wagging acting like she owns the place. In the last month or so both our dogs have had some health issues. We have two Great Danes, Tillie and Brian. Everyone at West Kelowna Veterinary Hospital is caring, helpful, dedicated and always empathetic to our concerns. We are so thankful we found them about four years ago. We have had small animals for decades but truly we have found the best veterinary service ever with Dr. Dube and his team. Our puppies love to visit them. They care so much and if we’re having to do home treatments, they call us to check in and see how its going! We LOVE them! Can’t recommend them highly enough!

We lost one of our beloved boxers in February (they were amazing during that terribly stressful time)and since then his partner, our slightly younger boxer has started to shut down as well. Visit May 21, 2021. I have been to other Vet clinics in Westbank before, but this one is the best. The place is calm and quiet, the staff are absolutely the best! They were patient with our shy puppy and patient with our questions, they took the time. Dr. Dube provided info, pros and cons, and allowed us to process and make decisions, he did not push product on us. It was a very positive visit for our puppy and her puppy parents. We will be staying with Dr. Dube and the West Kelowna Veterinary Hospital.

We recently euthanized a beloved family member and despite short notice and a fully booked office, we were welcomed and accommodated for. Sincerely cannot recommend this vet enough. Have experience with several offices and this is the best service we have come by. They are very clear about treatment options and sensitive to cost whenever they make recommendations. The best part is they explain exactly WHY and HOW issues happen so we can understand not only how to treat but how to prevent (if possible) anything from re-occurring. Open to emails and calls to inquire about rashes, itches, etc and they always welcome our animals with a huge smile and treat them as their own, which we really appreciate as fur parents. Pretty disappointed about not getting vaccinations for my two dogs whose been a this vets patient since day one. Also being referred to ANOTHER clinic for consultation for possible tick infection due to this clinic limited operation during covid19 is bad business practices. If a cashier can exchange currency for goods and service with the public at large, I don’t see a real reason why a vet can’t examine my dog?

I had a very sick kitten given to me, and not a ton of money, they helped me out without any kind of judgement (which seems to run rampant with veterinarians in Kelowna!!) I will always use these guys! All the staff was just very kind and you could totally tell that they were about the ANIMALS, not cash flow, or being martyrs, etc. I'm very happy they are here!

BEST vet clinic in Western Canada. Seriously. We make the 16+ hour trip from Fort McMurray AB to bring our fur kids to Dr. Dube and his staff. It's the only vet Clinic where I'm at total ease taking my two doxies to. The clinic has my doggies best interest in mind and they don't make them just another billable or an insurance claim opportunity. It's safe to say I trust them fully with any recommendations or procedures.

We have been clients of Dr Shona’s for the past 18 months. Jeanie, a veteran American Staffy was accepted at the beginning of the Pandemic after we moved to West Kelowna from the Kootenays. Jeanie always loved her visits to the vet and even her ‘final’ visit, she was cared for exceptionally well by Dr Mike and the team. They gave us time to be with Jeanie before and after she died, took care of us and ensured we understood the process. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

From best to worst. For five years we trusted Dr Robertson at this clinic. Sadly he left to penticton and this clinic has gone down hill. Failing to respond to calls promised, forgetting to send prescription info to pharmacy the list goes on. The latest is over charging for medication and handing out quotes for dental work like they are chicklets. The last straw was being pitched on new medication for my dog and promised a call to either refill his meds or start something new. We apparently fell to low on the list of priorities to get a call back as promised. My advise start looking for someone new.
