Recently became patients at this clinic and it is amazing! My dog is extremely nervous and often needs to be carried into the vet (she is 65lbs) and they make the environment very welcoming! She had to get dental surgery and the entire staff took very good care of her. They were thorough with her aftercare instructions and have been more than happy to answer any and all of my questions. Very happy with the care we have received here and we are happy to call them our new clinic!

depends who you get in with. Dr Jason is second to none, incredibly knowledgeable and always so helpful, the reception staff are usually really great too. The other vet here, Dr St Louis, was not even half as helpful when I saw her. She didn’t even read my pets file before meeting my pet... which is so clearly unprofessional. She then wasted the appointment talking about something non related and totally unimportant, in a clear attempt to try to get me to spend a bunch of money on completely unnecessary medical procedures on my pet, and was generally really rude otherwise as well. Would not see St Louis again, might go again if I’m guaranteed that I will see my pets actual vet, Dr. Jason, and not some other, less knowledgeable, ruder veterinarian.

After visiting a few vet clinics in Kelowna, we have found the PERFECT one here at Pandosy Village Vet. Our little Leo had a cryptorchid and got neutered last week. We instantly felt confident because of the love and affection the front desk, nurses, and vet gave him upon arrival. It was comforting knowing that he was being treated with love when we left. It was honestly priceless. They even called and gave a quick update to let us know the surgery went great and he was just recovering. We had a terrible experience at a DIFFERENT vet clinic in the area and felt zero passion or love for our pup when we went in. Pandosy Village Vet is the place to be if you want your baby to be cared for and loved. These people truly love their furry little patients. Thank you Dr. Jason Rowan and staff for making the entire process the better than we could’ve expected, and treating our Leo with lots of love.

We have been going to Pandosy Village since we moved to Kelowna. In May of 2021, we brought home Walter, a lovely little German Shepherd that has had us at the vet for vaccinations, weigh-ins, eye infections, nail clippings, calcium deposits, drop-ins to buy treats. We are there a LOT! To say Walter loves Pandosy Veterinary is an understatement. The staff are exceptional. They treat your pet like they are family. I started taking my cat's to Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital for regular checkups after 10+ of my friends had recommended them with glowing reviews. My babies have been seeing them for regular checkups for 3 years now and the service has always been 5 stars. My cats are mama's girls and wary of strangers, but the staff is able to earn their trust and make them feel less stressed. I was especially impressed with my most recent visit. 2 days ago, I noticed one of my cats, Lana, was behaving strangely. I examined her and noticed she had a bite wound on her back and it was pretty badly infected. I could tell she was in pain but not in immediate danger so I emailed her vet, as it was 2am and they were not open. They responded very quickly and called me right after open. They were fully booked up for the long weekend, but they were able to squeeze her in early the next morning between appointments. I was worried she would freak out since social distancing prevented me from going inside with her but when she came back out she seemed to be feeling great and wasnt upset at all. They were very efficient and thorough. They cleaned up her wound very nicely, gave her antibiotics and gave her the pain medication. I was surprised by how fast it was and by how immediately I could see a difference in her mood and comfort. They gave me 3 more doses of pain meds for the next 3 days and gave me instructions for keeping her wound clean and what to watch for. We have been home for 4 hours now and she's been snoozing next to me on the couch the whole time and appears to be quite content. Lana is a very smart girl. She got in the carrier willingly so Im sure she knew where we were going and understands the vet made her feel better.

Vet refused to assess our rescue cat because she was irritated. We went to Rose Valley an hour after and the vet there was AMAZING. I'm sorry but Pandosy Vet seemed off and lacked compassion and confidence which is never a good sign when you are trusting someone with your little furry friends.

Took my dog to this vet in Aug/15 because my dog wasn't eating. Was told she is healthy and is probably stressed or picky about her food. Called him again in October because she still wasn't eating and she was looking anorexic. Vet told me to stimulate her appetite by walking her or try not feeding her any treats or access to any kinda food for a couple days. I took her to another vet and she was diagnosed with a serious heart and liver disorder and I ended up putting her down the other day because she had a 10% chance of survival. Avoid this vet!

I took my two pomeranians here for a dental cleaning/extractions. They took excellent care of my dogs, at a very reasonable cost (bearing in mind canine dental work is crazy pricey to begin with, but taking that into account their prices were fair). They didn't skimp on any options such as blood work, anesthesia, etc. They won't do the procedure without blood work, which I believe shows they don't believe in taking ANY risks with your pets (some places will do with without to help save costs). Very happy with my experience here and will even make the effort to drive back for future procedures! (we live in Calgary). A+++++++++

Really cool shop with staff who genuinely care about animals. The stuff they stock is always high quality and often sourced as locally as possible. We've found that we end up with better quality products than the big branded pet stores, and surprisingly without spending noticeably more money. On top of that, the veterinarian on hand is top notch and easy to deal with. I really appreciated that they seem to put the animal's welfare first. Obviously there are costs associated with running a business and animal care is never cheap, but I've never felt better about spending money to take care of my animals than I have here. Thanks everyone at the shop for keeping quality businesses alive! People do appreciate it.

Honestly the best vet clinic in town, the staff really do care about your pets. The enviroment is always calm and relaxing, extremely professional staff, clean facility, and the services and treatments offered are really fair priced especially for top quality care. Dr. Jason is amazing at what he does, and i love the fact that we can choose between holistic & commercial treatment because having the option helps us feel comfortable with every situation. The staff always go above and beyond to make sure every visit goes smoothly, and Jynx always leaves wagging his tail because of that. It is my pleasure to write a review for this wonderful team of caring professionals today! I've been around the Okanagan awhile and I've always been particular about my pets having the best care I can possibly obtain for them. As such, I've run the gamut of some offices that aren't very clean, a few vets that barely examine my pet but prescribe medication anyway, some that are changing vets constantly and some that are crazy expensive without helping much. It shouldn't be so hard to find good veterinary care but it is! Almost 4 years ago, I had my little shih tzu neutered and he died 2 weeks later so it was with considerable trepidation that I phoned around to inquire about having my tiny yorkie/shih tzu cross puppy ("Buttons") spayed. With only one exception, I was given prices of around $250.00. It was when I called Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital ("PVVH"), that their lovely Hannah immediately gave me a COMPLETE breakdown of what would I would be charged for (i.e. pre-surgical blood panel, i.v. during surgery, surgery, post-surgical medication) which was a lot more than the $250 I'd been quoted by others. So, I phoned the same clinics again and it was only when I asked if they were quoting me the FULL amount that they gave me much higher totals. I don't like ugly surprises in my financial dealings so PVVH earned my trust. They were compassionate when I explained my worry for my tiny girl and I was so pleased with the wonderfully clean environment that I stepped into the morning of her surgery. I deeply appreciated Dr. Jason's call immediately following her surgery to tell me that everything went well and that I could come pick her up around 3 pm if she was doing okay. This was also a plus in PVVH's favor since all of the other hospitals had told me that my puppy would have to stay overnight. I think that I am capable of keeping a closer eye on my puppy than a vet who simply pops in to check on the animals every few hours between closing and late night. Moreover, I think a puppy feels better at home and doesn't have the obstacle of unnecessary upset complicating their recovery post-surgery. When I went to pick my furbaby up that afternoon, nurse Amelia supplied me with her pain medication and answered all my questions patiently and knowledgeably. Then, for three days afterward, someone called me each day to update Dr. Jason on how Buttons was doing. She is now 9 days post-surgery and her incision is healing beautifully. I feel so grateful to have found such a capable and caring medical team for my 2 little furbabies and they have my highest recommendation for veterinary care that really DOES go the extra mile to provide excellent, tender care for our furbabies. Thank you so much Dr. Jason, Amelia, Hannah and the rest of the team for your wonderful care of my Buttons (and me)!

It is always a 5 star experience at Pandosy Vet, I have sent all my friends and family to them. We don't have many holistic vet options in Kelowna but this place is by far my favourite. The staff is always so friendly, Jason and Arnica treat your animals like their own, I wouldn't trust my 3 dogs with anyone else! And I also highly recommend Dr Pam for Chiro... she has helped my dogs excel to their full potential in dog sports (agility, dog sledding, and frisbee)!

In our experience this clinic is extremely un-professional and borderline neglectful. We had no follow through from Dr. Jason. They took our dog in and told us they would provide blood work, ultrasound and x rays which we were happy to pay for. We found out after pick up they didn’t do 2 of the 3 items. Along with numerous other items that they didn’t follow through with, this clinic seems to do what they feel Is best for their agenda and not listen to the animal Owners. There is a massive disconnect between people working in the office and the doctors. This place has lost all of our trust.

We had a chiropractor appointment for our dog a week after she was hit by a car, and after being to 2 other clinics in the city, there is absolutely no comparison to the level of service, knowledge and compassion shown by the techs here. I am a new puppy owner and unfortunately my little lab Oakley has not had the best start health-wise. Despite the fact that most of our friends have pets, I chose not to ask them for their input on veterinarians and decided to research on my own via the internet and reading testimonials. After reading so many wonderful reviews about Dr. Jason and his team at Pandosy Village Vet Hospital, we decided to visit him a couple days after we brought him home from the breeder's. I cannot say how impressed I am with the amazing service he and his staff have offered. Not only do they provide top notch customer service, they genuinely care about your pet and his well being. I was so impressed with the fact that after popping in to purchase some food and simply having a conversation with their staff about the issues I was still having with Oakley, they called the next day just to see how he was doing (it wasn't even a follow up after an appointment). I've been to a few pet shops in town purchasing various items for my little guy; be it from treats to leashes etc.... Every time a clerk in the pet shop asks who our vet is and I tell them it's Dr. Jason, they reply with a "You're in very good hands" comment :) So happy we chose Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital!

He has my dogs best interests at heart, takes his time examining and we aren’t just a number. My dog is very particular with strangers, especially men, and she likes him as much as could be expected when someone is sticking a thermometer up your....... I've been using the services at Pandosy Vet for over a year now. The holistic and integrative approach to medicine is what stands this clinic apart from the rest. I love that they use a whole body approach from herbal medicine to chiropractic care. Its made all the difference in the health of my 3 border collies. As a professional trainer what strikes me as the most unique aspect of the facility is that it doesn't feel like a vet clinic. Dogs are at ease when they visit, they do not experience the usual trauma or anxieties of seeing the vet due to the relaxed atmosphere and none clinical decor. The shop is beautiful with great quality toys and there's a natural line of single ingredient dog cookies to purchase!! My dogs love coming here! And so do I!

Wow...beautiful office- coffee and tea even offered, very sweet staff. The vet was completely honest and didnt try to push any care that the cat did not need which is appreciated. Went in for just a dental estimate but turned out she did not need any work, will be back to this vet because found them to be trustworthy.

Only been once so far but that experience was good. We definetly plan on coming back here. Especially enjoyed the fact that our kitten was allowed to room free in the room, think she wants to work here now ;). Another thing that felt good to me is that it didnt feel overly clinical. Beside a fold down table for the exam, nothing screamed vet, which I think is a huge plus! Especially for nervous owners or pets, I can imagine.

I have an 11 year old Westie who came down with a skin issue about 3 years ago. After 3 difficult years for both her and I and being treated by 2 regular vets and being treated with many different meds and many, many dollars later it was suggested to me to try a naturopath. Hence Dr Rowan was visited by us and he diagnosed on our very first visit as having a hot, damp body and was prescribed a herbal remedy. Five months later she has no skin issue and her coat is full and healthy. I fully recommend Dr Rowan and staff for a healthy solution to skin issues for sure.

First off I need to draw attention to the Pounce and Hound pet store within this veterinary hospital... It is awesome! Honestly one of the best I have been to, and if you haven't gone yet, GO!! The quality and thought that has gone behind each and every item that is brought in is mind boggling! As strange as this sounds my favorite obsession right now is their litter box poop scoop in the shape of a paw... it took me so long to find one with fine enough slots to properly and thoroughly clean out our cats litter box, and the one I found here is absolutely perfect! Also, they bring in the canned cat food Tiki Cat (which is incredibly low in carbohydrates) so I think that speaks volumes as well! As for the Veterinary Hospital itself -- amazing! We had already stopped by the store a few times and were so impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of all the staff that when our kitty got sick we took the chance of changing our vet to Dr. Jason. I'm so incredibly thankful we did. I honestly couldn't imagine a better vet. He walked us through every single option, the price points, further outside consultations, and more! He clearly cares about each and every animal that walks through his doors, and it shows through all the effort he and his team put in. The level of comfort that we, and even our cat, felt here was insane... it definitely didn't feel like a typical vets office, which was such a nice change. Even during the tense moments of our visit this amazing team had us smiling through the swapping of previous silly cat tales! It should also be noted that Dr. Jason has clearly done his research on animal nutrition, and while most people may think that's not a huge deal it actually is. Not very many vets know a lot about animal nutrition being that it's not really well taught in veterinary school. The fact that he has taken his own time to put effort into really learning it himself (which believe it or not, not a lot of vets do!!) is pretty great, and it clearly shows by the fact that he offers a raw food selection, and some awesome canned food! I'm so thankful I've found both the Pounce and Hound pet store and this veterinary hospital! Together they make a great team in making our cats (and ultimately us) healthy and happy!

Dr. Jason and his staff have been absolutely incredible and so helpful since we first brought our new puppy in to see them. We always knew they were awesome since we bring our two kitties there as well, but as two very tired new puppy owners, we were blown away by the extra mile they took with helping us. They walked us through all the new puppy stuff and answered all our questions (and there were a lot since we truly believed our puppy was possibly from a different planet where only the really crazy puppies are crafted). We ended up enrolling in the puppygarten classes and everything completely changed. We went from being exasperated and exhausted to finally having fun and being able to brag about our little guy. I could not recommend these classes enough and feel so grateful to Shona and Pandosy Village Vet!

I love having holistic options when it comes to my animals health! I was able to be with my dogs throughout the entire visit which I loved. Pandosy Village Vet is so wonderful! We have had some trouble with taking our dog to the vet in the past but he love to visit the girls here and they are all so helpful and caring. The doctors are also both fantastic! They are not pushy like some vets and really care and take their time with our anxious pup. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

Pandosy Vet is the best holistic vet clinic in Kelowna! Dr. Rowan has treated our dog since he was a new puppy. He is highly professional, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. He has always educated and presented me with both the conventional and holistic options for our dog's health. Most recently, my dog contracted kennel cough, which was quickly resolved in a few days with a herbal tincture instead of antibiotics. The store is beautiful and so stylish with a great selection of unique products including yummy, healthy treats - my dog LOVES the dried sardines! I highly recommend Pandosy Vet!

I chose this vet for my new puppy because they fully support titer testing to determine which vaccines are really needed for each pet. The breeder of my puppy thought this was important, so I read up on it and the standard practice of over immunization and the effects that this could have down the road. Not sure how much of a risk this really is, but now that I have been exposed to this viewpoint, I definitely prefer to play it safe. Anyways I really think they did a great job designing this clinic, and everyone we meet there was super nice and very competent and professional.

Very unprofessional staff. Quote one price then increase amount due after the fact. Hannah whom works the front is very two faced. She will tell customers one thing only to turn to her boss to fabricate another story. I understand for Arnica to defend her staff but to be so quick to dismiss your pets care instead of communicating a resolution is very unprofessional. Her lack of customer service skills and inappropriate gestures towards her clients is out right ridiculous. Very sad as a claimed family business there is not one thing about it that our furry family appreciated. On a side note save your self some money most of the holistic foods this vet sells is available at local pet store for a fraction of the cost!
