Today we had to put our cat of 21+ years down. We called many vets, and decided on Mission Creek Clinic. What a GREAT place! So glad we found them. Compassionate, kind, explained everything, SO thoughtful - it was harder to do then we expected - and they gave us lots of time. Best experience we've ever had going to vets over the years, considering the circumstances especially. HIGHLY recommend:) A sad day - but they kept it brighter. THANKS!!!!

Dr McCarthy is a wonderful caring vet .He cares about your pet and takes time when required to explain everything . He literally saved my dog bentlys life after another popular vet missed a very high fever over doing exrays. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr M .

I like the vets but don’t care for the front desk or the disorganization of this place. Two times in a row now, I’ve called way in advance to order my dog’s pills and when I come in to pickup they are never ready. You’d think there’d be an apology while I waited 15 minutes for the pills…

Had great experiences with a few different vets over the years at Mission Creek. Most often we had Dr McCarthy and he was fantastic. They guided us through years of excellent routine care and when our dog did get sick they treated us exceptionally well. They go over the options, give you the pros and cons before every procedure and can offer optional solutions if you are on a budget as well. I would highly recommend.

It's regrettable to see how this clinic is using COVID as an excuse to provide substandard animal care. A dog's visit to the vet is a very stressful affair, not allowing the owner of a little puppy to be there is simply cruel. I will not be going to this clinic. Thanks for the review, I'll gladly dodge this bullet and go with another provider.

I am not able comment on the doctor's competency. The reception staff of this organization is misinformed, closed minded and arrogant. I was told that I could not bring my puppy into the vet's office. When I asked why, I was told "because of COVID". When I asked for specific reasons I was given the same answer, it felt like speaking to an automated machine. A few day later I received an email stating grossly inaccurate information about the COVID virus (they spoke about increasing cases when in reality they have been decreasing). I politely pointed out that the vet's clinic is spreading misinformation, they resounded within a few hours and requested that I take my puppy somewhere else, which I will gladly do.

We just moved into the area and needed a new vet. Our new neighbor highly recommended Mission Creek and it was great advise. Our little girl ended up going for a dental cleaning and some extractions. The staff and Doctors are fantastic. We found their fee to be very reasonable too.

I have had two very unpleasant encounters with the male receptionist that works at this clinic. I am switching vets as I have recently moved to Kelowna from Vernon and was considering Mission Creek. The receptionist was very rude and short with me over the phone and, once again in person when I came in with my sisters dog for a scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, the vet seemed very nice and caring (like 90% of vets) but dealing with this individual left a sour taste in my mouth. Needless to say I will be finding more welcoming clinic.

Our two dogs and cat have been seeing Dr. Baptie and Dr. Andrew McCarthy for years. They have helped us through everything from routine exams, to problems, to a graceful end for one of the dogs. Dr. Baptie and Dr. McCarthy are knowledgable, kind and caring people who we respect and like. Our dogs seem to like them as well, though going to the vet is always unnerving for pets. Dr. Baptie and Dr. McCarthy are both very capable, and genuinely love animals. I simply cannot say enough good things about them, and the rest of the staff at Mission Creek Animal Hospital. We have never second guessed our choice of vet in 15 years.
