They explain each procedure thoroughly and gave me.options. Dr Rose Bahr is phenomenal and caring. Very friendly and personable and took the time to explain what was needed. When you're dog is happy to get there and sad to leave, I think you've found the right vet. We brought the newest member of our household here for his initial shots, deworming, etc and I can't compliment them enough on how friendly and helpful they've been. From a free hour spent with one of their vet techs to go over any and everything about having a new pet, to an easily reachable and approachable staff, I couldn't find a single negative thing to say. We signed up for the one year plan and it's been great value for the money so far. We'll keep going back 100%.

Amazing! If you’re looking for a vet in Peterborough look no further! Our puppy was scheduled to go else where in town for her vaccinations. When she needed to see a vet I called multiple times over 4 days without a response. A friend recommend Sherbrooke Heights, I’m so glad I called. Within an hour of talking to the receptionist, a vet called me to discus her condition, she was booked in later that same day. We will not be going elsewhere. Looking forward to coming back in two weeks for her second round of vaccinations! Thank you for getting us in so quickly!

We switched vet services a number of years ago for convenience when we relocated to the west end. Fantastic experiences at Sherbrooke Heights! Quality of care for our dog is top-notch and they are always quick and efficient to schedule appointments with our dog. Super friendly staff, super knowledgeable vets. If only we had invested in pet insurance years ago our 'frequent' visits would be even more enjoyable!

Sherbrooke Heights Animal Hospital is a fantastic clinic! All of the staff from their receptionists, vet techs and veterinarians are phenomenal, professional friendly and they always make sure I understand what is happening with my fur babies. We had to say goodbye to our 5 year old cat in December and without the support of this clinic it would have been a much worse situation. They were there to support us every step of the way and made sure he was comfortable until the end. We have also added a puppy to our family recently and they as expected have been beyond great with him and everything we needed for him! If you are looking for someone to take your fur baby to be taken care of this is THE place to go! Thank you to the entire clinic for always taking care of our fur babies

Lovely place to bring the puppers for check-ups. The staff is super friendly and remember owner's family and pet names. The vet is very thorough with the pet exams and provides a report to the owner of their dog's health with graphs and other information. No cheating with these things, the vet will know right away if you have been feeding your pet junk food or skipping walks. It's like the smart way assessing your ability to be a good pet parent????. The bills are a bit higher, but you are paying for high quality service????

One of the few vets that really tried to help. I will say, it is crazy how expensive things can be, especially when it takes a while to figure out what's wrong with your dog, or if you have a treatment that just doesnt work, or just doesnt address the pathology. Overall, Sherbrooke Heights Animal Hospital were fair and friendly, and did a good job of caring for our dog. Hard to find a good vet in this city. Would recommend.

Sherbrooke Heights is more than an Animal Hospital to our family, their part of our family, their our friends and their support/service is exceptional. Nearly 10 years ago we brought our first dog to Dr. Hiltz and over the past few years to Dr. Small, he loves them almost as much as he loves liver treats. Instead of being scared to visit the vet, he goes happily to see his girlfriends Stacey and Merrill. The team at SHAH welcomes each pet as if its their own, now with our newest addition follows his uncle into visit everyone and gets the good treats when visiting. If you're looking for a veterinary services in Peterborough you can trust, SHAH should be your one and only stop. To all the staff at SHAH, thank you for everything you do.

We have been going to SH for more than 8 years, to have our lovely standard poodle Vivo taken care of. This past week has been a nightmare for him (and us) as he swallowed a big sock and had to have it removed surgically. The vets and staff at SH are wonderful - caring, knowledgeable and supportive. We are SO grateful for their help for Vivo and us. All are recovering at home now.

I only have the most amazing things to say about Sherbrooke Heights! Between being able to fit in my lop eared rabbit with short notice, putting him in a room right away to keep him calm, and having the friendliest staff imaginable, my rabbit is able to have a calm and positive experience every time. If you have an "exotic" pet, don't go anywhere other than here! 100% would recommend!

I dont know what these people are referring to when they talk about "knowledgeable" "caring" staff???. I went in to find out information about spaying my cat who had recently had her first litter of three kittens. I asked how soon after giving birth could she be spayed? Neither of the 2 women at the counter were able to answer. They had to wait until a younger girl came out and ask her. She had an answer but seemed unsure. Saying "it should be ok now?" When I asked "what if she got in for the Op and they found that she was already pregnant again? Neither could answer. Again the younger one came out and said they could abort the kittens while operating but would be a significant price increase. I was then handed quote on paper for $678!!! When she saw my reaction to the cost she proceeded to try and talk me into putting my cat down or taking her and her kittens to the humane society where im sure they would eventually be put down as well. CARING??????? not in the least. All this place cares about is money. not animal warfare. My friend also took his dog in who desperatly needed an operation to survive. They wanted thousands of dollars and would not even offer any type of payment plan to manage the bill. They also tried to convince him to kill his dog to save money. CARING???? his dog got the operation at another hospital for a few hundred dollars made in monthly payments. His pet has been living a happy healthy life ever since. Myself I got my cat spayed and all vaccines and pain meds etc at High st animal hospital for $230. EXTREMELY caring staff there who cuddled my pet and even took photos and put them on their web site. Had straight definitive answers for all my questions with supporting facts. They even were able (sadly) to abort the new kittens she was pregnant with at NO charge as she was barely 1 week pregnant. THERE IS NOTHING CARING ABOUT TRYING TO CONVINCE PEOPLE TO KILL THEIR PETS TO SAVE MONEY. especially when they can be saved or arent even in a life threatening situation. Why did these ppl become vets? Not because they want to help animals obviously. They just want money. I will never go there or recommend them. Heartless money grubbing monsters. Steer clear.

The vets and staff are extremely attentive. They even call after every appointment to check in. My dogs gets treated better than I do at the doctor's office! There's also a separate waiting area for cats.

All they care about is MONEY. Period. Only went because of proximity, but will now drive elsewhere with my cats. Also super expensive. I used to work at a vet, so know how overpriced they are.....I went after work to pick up meds I thought I paid for already as my bill was 650$, they wouldn’t give the pills to my cat as I forgot my purse-as if I wouldn’t pay!!!!?? Nice loyalty after spending literally thousands of dollars there. You are just a number and money apparently. Also wanted to charge me even more $$ to email a the script somewhere else where I found the meds (they wouldn’t give me ) for half the price...

Went to bring my kitten here for his vaccination, we are in phase 3 and they refused to let me in with my kitten. Expected me to just give him to them and have him traumatized from the vet forever. I hate it when businesses use Covid as an excuse to make their lives easier. I can go to a venue with 1000 people but I can’t be one with my pet in a vet. This makes me Not trust them so I can’t go back unfortunately. I will have to go back to a vet that’s further away, they let me in with my pet last month

When I adopted Miss Star, she had some serious gastro intestinal issues. Dr Small was quickly able to diagnose and treat her. Miss Star acts like a totally different cat now. The office is clean and all the staff are caring and friendly. I also really like that we see the same vet each time we visit. This my favourite vet clinic.

I was stressed and scared to have to send my cat in alone for his check up and shots, but they were great and took good care of him, and got him in and out quickly! Absolute best vet I’ve ever been to! My puppy Maple adores going to the vet which is typically unheard of! They make every effort to make sure the pet is happy while they are there. Maple got 3 needles last time and never flinched - she was so incredibly comfortable in the environment. They were patient with her shyness and made her feel loved and safe before attempting any care. I am absolutely amazed with this vet and will continue to bring Maple, tail wagging, back here! 10/10 would recommend for pets who are afraid of the vet because I assure you they can change your pets mind !
