Dr. Brown and the entire staff at Gull River Veterinary Clinic are awesome. I started bringing my dog and cat here after an emergency vet trip with my dog that turned out to be congestive heart failure. I had been unhappy with the vet’s office I had been going to and I’m so glad I switched to Gull River. Although the clinic was a 40 minute drive compared to under 5 minutes to the other vet, it was well worth it. Dr. Brown is caring, gentle and calm. She explains your options while not pushing medications or services or making you feel guilty for your choices. Although my beloved pets were both at the end stages of life, she gave me valuable extra time with them with her care and made the heart-wrenching end of life process so much easier. I was only a client for less than a year but was always treated like I’d been coming for years. For all these reasons, I will always be grateful.

I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone in the area needing vet services! We were in the area only for a few days when our dog developed a nasty hot spot and was not able to sleep at all anymore. The vet was able to see us the very morning we called, and both her and the staff were very helpful, comforting and nice! I was extremely and pleasantly surprised when they followed up with us several times after we left the area to see how our dog was doing! To be honest our own regular vet did not do that, so I appreciated the calls even more. You can tell they care, and that's all you need when your pet is not feeling well. Much much appreciated!

We had such a great experience here thanks to Dr. Brown, Pam and all the staff at clinic! During our cottage stay our senior dog developed pneumonia and we scrambled to try to find a vet in the area. We were turned down by a couple vets until finding Gull River. Dr. Brown squeezed us into her busy day and provided a full work up on our dog. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything and was very caring. I cannot thank Dr. Brown and all the staff at Gull River for their kindness and hard work! Our dog is now on his way to recovery!

Genuine care for their clients is shown in small personal touches, from follow-up phone calls post-surgery to before and after photos of their teeth. They are honest and so kind. If you are looking for a vet that truly loves animals I highly recommend Dr Mandy Brown and her staff. I was up visiting my parents at the cottage and my Black Lab Angel loves to swim. I think she may have got water in her ear as it was really bothering her. I called the clinic and they were able to get us in that morning. They were all very friendly and Dr Brown got down on the floor and greeted Angel and gave her lots of pets and talked to her. She was very gentle with Angel and you could tell that she truly loves working with animals. Great experience all around. Thank you for all you do for our furry family members ????????????

I brought my dog Bailey for a sizable growth on her eyelid that needed to be removed. Bailey suffers from anxiety and is cautious of people. Especially men. I was told that it would be a challenging surgery as a small wedge had to be removed and then stitched up making the eyelid smaller and tighter. The surgery was performed and Bailey is doing great. She seems happy to see the staff when they come to take her as during these Covid times I am not allowed to be with her. I am so pleased with the way their compassion and understanding they show Bailey make her feel comfortable and trusting and me as well. I feel they go the extra mile to make your pet a positive experience. Thanks to the Surgeon and staff. I will definitely be a customer for both of my ladies for all future events.

We can’t say enough positive things about Gull River! They have always answered the call for either regular check ups or shots to emergency visits, even during the height of the pandemic. Their calm, compassionate nature sets us at ease at every visit. We recently had to say goodbye to our retriever Tagus which was a very difficult decision, the staff were so kind and caring. The little touches were so special! Last week we received a card in the mail that the staff had each taken the time to write a personal message about our loss. These are the gestures that make this office our first pick in veterinary care????????

I took my dog to Gull River Veterinary Services for the first time last week and was very very satisfied. The building itself is very inviting and welcoming. The service was wonderful and the doctor was wonderful and took her time with Luna and carefully explained everything to me. Mostly I was very impressed by the fact that they did not try to get me to buy anything I didn't need. The bill was very fair and I would recommend this service to anyone seeking veterinary services - I will definitely go back.
