REVIEWS OF Twin Rivers Animal Hospital IN Kamloops

Nina Gales

We have been bringing our dogs to twinrivers animal hospital for over 3 years now. They are always wonderful, efficient and effective. Thanks.

Karla Pearce

Wonderful!

Deanna Moncion

Hands down the best vet I've been to in Kamloops. Not only are the prices and hours better than anywhere else I have been, but they know what they are doing! I had taken my dog to two other vets in town - and although they were all very nice, the team at Twin Rivers were the only people that could diagnose his arthritis and give us a reasonable treatment plan. Could not be happier that we made the switch!

Twin Rivers has been our clinic for our 5 year old dog since we got him as a puppy. They are reliable, their hours are great, their staff friendly. In the few times we have had an emergency we could always get him in fast, and recieve great care.

Ev Penny

I have a 4 month old puppy, and love that Twin Rivers is open on weekends and has such great hours. The vet I have seen each time has been informative and kind. There was no wait time for the apt. I basically went straight in all 3 times I have been there. He diagnosed my puppy with giardia quickly and effectively. I also appreciated the follow-up phone call I received to see how my pup was doing. The clinic is really relaxed, and there are two resident cats that are super chill. While waiting, you can play with them using a laser pointer. I would highly recommend Twin Rivers.

Mikael Kjellström

Professional service. Had our cat spayed and would use their services in the future.

Shaileen Pinske

Been there twice for emergencies. They didn't give me full answers either time, and they try and charge you for unnecessary stuff. and the second time I went they sent me home with meds for my cat and again, no proper answer for what was wrong. and he ended up dying a few weeks later .. The vet also wouldn't even touch my cat to check him out because he was hissing and growling and he was afraid he would get attacked. So I had to hold him down while they did blood work.. The techs there however are super nice and friendly. But the vet is not and is zero help.

Katrina Louise

Friendly staff and very accommodating ????

Very friendly helpful people . My 4 year old dog had a medical emergency and the veterinarian and his staff were so wonderful to me & made sure they gave him the best care. He stayed in for two days on IV and made a full recovery. I am very thankful for this clinic. Prices were quite reasonable also. We previously lived in Edmonton and the services he received would have been thousands of dollars in Alberta. Thanks again for your wonderful practice !

Lyn L'Ecuyer

Great staff. Great hours. Great care. Thanks!

Alexa Ford

I had an emergency vet visit with my cat, they went above and beyond to give me answers. so thankful for what they did.

I just want to say thank you to the twin rivers animal hospital as they helped me with my dog, knowing I didn't have an arm and a leg to spend, giving me THE BEST results we could have ever wished for ! My dogs infection cleared up in three days and she has been active and back to her normal self since! And they even called me exactly a week later to check up on her condition and to see how we're doing! I will forever goto this vet as all there staff and volunteers were GREAT, with my dog and myself and made us feel right at home! I really reccommend this vet clinic to anyone and everyone! They're prices are great, and there skills are sooo amazing!

Kayla McKay

Amazing clinic. The staff were able to get my American Staffordshire Terrier (pitbull) Chevy in quickly and remove a irritating skin tag at a great price! The follow up call was also a great time for me to ask any questions I may have forgotten at the time of picking him up.

Another great visit to the vet today! Such wonderful staff, always so helpful and they always remember who my dog is even when I pop in for dog/cat food and he is not with me. What made it even better is that my dog was weighed and he lost 2lbs!!! Something we have been working hard on! Thank you for being so caring!!!

Dr. Kataria and staff are very kind, caring people. I was happy to find that my toy poodle did not have a heart problem, it was bronchitis making her cough. He did not pressure me to have dental work done, which is clearly necessary, and advised me not to have it done until the bronchitis cleared up. I appreciated his thoroughness to make sure my older dog would be able to safely have the sedation required for dental work.

Pretty happy with my experience here. They are open 7 days and open late. They also cut me a break on a huge vet bill, without me asking for one.

I had my beautiful girl in for a molar extraction, because of a large fracture. The staff were fantastic, friendly, efficient and helpful as was the vet himself. Sydney was comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. The surgery was done first thing in the morning and she was ready to come home by 2 pm. She was happy and alert when I picked her up to bring her home and hopped right into the car. They sent me home with some pain meds and antibiotics for her and then followed up a few days later to make sure Syd was ok. They are for sure my go to vet for all pets needs from now on. Thank

Obaapa Ayisa

I had to take Elliot to Ghana with me, my little Pomeranian puppy. They helped me with all his testing and vaccines. Always available to help when I had a concern since he’s my first pet ever. So I got paranoid a lot, but the doctor was always available to me with first aid and answers. Super friendly staff, always remembered us and made us feel welcomed. Thank you!

Couldn't get to see the vet in Cache Creek.. Within 2 hrs of me calling they saw my dog ...the receptionist was very helpful and the vet was so kind and gentle with my little dog

Everyone at Twin Rivers Animal Hospital were very kind and professional. They explained everything and made sure I understood what was going on with my cat Pepper and what was the best course of action to take. I was extremely happy with our experience there and will continue to take my fur babies there as I know they will get the best of care.

Have moved all our animals up to this clinic. Not fancy, but super friendly and knowledgeable techs and doctor without all the b.s. and outrageous pricing.

Did not have to wait and was very professional Thank you

I have had multiple visits with this vet and am never completely satisfied. I feel like every time I am there, we are pushed to buy another shot for something or another medication for that. Don't get me wrong, the vet is very knowledgeable and the staff very friendly. Their professionalism is not the issue here. On one occasion, my dog was sneezing and coughing and the vet determined he needed some antibiotics, just to be safe, and then wanted to charge us $130 for basically a benedryl shot; when we asked about just giving him oral benedryl, he was reluctant but agreed that yes, we could also do that. On a second occasion, my dog needed stitches and we were told nothing about how the stitches were to be removed or how to care for them, and had to call back to confirm that they were dissovlable. We had asked for a cone as well and were told we didnt need one. Unsurprisingly, my dog ripped the stitches out, and when we brought him back to the vet he asked why we didnt use the cone -- because you wouldnt give us one... we elected to not stitch the paw up again because they wanted to charge us for a redo (dispite it being their fault for refusing to give us a cone)and because it was mostly healed shut at this point, so he now only has a scar but no other issues. I also wish the vet had spent time to get to know our dog as well. He just came in, gave my dog shots and left. And one time got mad because my dog jumped out of my arms and peed himself he was so upset and because the needle had hurt him badly. The vet told me i needed to hold my dog down as i attempted to grab him while he ran around the room looking for a way out. Now he's scared stiff everytime we go in the exam room. The vet was also unappologetic and unsympathetic towards my dog during this ordeal and other visits. Not every visit has been terrible, but not enough good ones to even out my feelings on the practice. I am not sorry to say we switched vets, and I work with a few people who have also felt the same.

I have used this clinic two separate times for urgent care needs. 1st time was about a year ago, my dog was bleeding through her nostrils and had something wrong with her throat. No other vet clinics would take her in (I called a few places at 8am) even though it was an urgent situation. I was just about to call the emergency vet, when I called Twin River. (She was still breathing fine, and not in distress but still needed veterinary care right away) They squeezed her in their busy day and we got treatment. My dog made a full recovery. Second time was yesterday, I called our usual vet clinic and explained the situation- another urgent matter with my other dog. I called at 8am and they were already booked for the day? I was turned down and told to use the emergency vet. I called Twin River and they again, came to my rescue and fit us in within the hour. Not like they weren't busy, there was plenty of people with pets there. They were friendly, quick to respond and did an excellent job, covered all the bases and met my requests. I will 100% tell all my friends and family about my experiences. In summary, I am pleased and relieved to have a vet clinic I can rely on. Thank you Twin River Animal Hospital. *I have absolutely nothing negative to say about other clinics, just a let down when your regular clinic can't support you. I get they are busy. I get things dont always go the way we want to. But if I can avoid using the emergency vet I will. My situations were not an EMERGENCY but URGENT. there is a difference*

First time coming to this veterinarian clinic, and I will be continuing to come to this veterinarian clinic.. I have now asked Dr. Kataria to be my full-time furbaby doctor. I brought my cat in today ( Sunday,) to be neutered and they happily complied. I had my cat Captain Jack Sparrow, back home with me by 3 P. M, healthy and well taken care of by DR. Kataria and his staff. I'm extremely happy with their pricing, their services, and they're office. I'm extremely Elated that they are open on Sundays, as it is so convenient for me, near my home, their location in lower Aberdeen, is absolutely perfect, so I am able to pick up, and drop off, on my only day off. Thank you for all that you did for me, and my Kitten Jack. ???? I look forward to seeing you again in The Not So near future. ????????

Vet with an attitude. Not good for business, not my business anyway. Found much better "bed manner" at the clinic across aberdeen mall

I really like this vet. They explain what's going on with your pet and why things need to be done. Feels like they actually care about animals.

Our 16 year old dog got very ill on a Sunday. We live in Sorrento and as our vet clinic was not open, we drove into Kamloops to Twin Rivers vet clinic. Navdeep was the vet that took care of our little Molly. He and Sophia were terrific! We didn't have an appointment and Molly needed some urgent care. She ended up having surgery. We were told the risk was high due to her age, but we didn't really have any choice. Molly is doing well and I can't thank Navdeep and staff for all of their care and empathy. I would not hesitate to take any of my pets to this clinic.

The Dr. is very friendly and professional. I had to drop my kitty off at the door because of covid restrictions. The vet called for the phone appointment at the time he said he would and also followed up when he promised. I found that he was very clear and detailed with information. The staff kept my cat for a few hours to obtain a urine sample. My issue is that when I picked my cat up from the appointment, he was DRENCHED in his own urine. There was a puddle of urine in the bottom of the carrier. My cat was slipping in his urine on the drive home and was extremely anxious, bashing at the carrier door to try and get out, which he's never done. I was almost in tears watching him stress like that. I thought, ok maybe he peed at the door when they were handing him back to me.. .but they said he already went pee. I called to ask if they knew why he might be covered in his own pee and they just said "oh yeah, we had to get the urine sample from the cat carrier". I am SO frustrated that they did not even towel my cat off or wipe the carrier out. He left him to pee in his own cat carrier and then sit in it for hours (most vets would put cats in a boarding kennel with a litter pan to get a sample). I hope that my cat doesn't develop any behavioural issues because of this, anyone with a cat knows how shameful and stressful it is for them to be covered in the own mess. Also, the carrier door was not completely latched when they handed him back to me in the busy parking lot. Thank goodness I always double check! I am just disgusted at the lack of professionalism. I will not go back which is too bad because the vet himself seems great.

Chantal Cadorette

Always take such great care of my animals, and are very quick to accommodate appointments!

I sadly do not recommend this vet clinic. I took my 10 week old puppy in. I was told she had a heart murmur and needed extensive x-rays and a specialist. Of course, for her health i agreed. The bill was very large. I visited another vet for a second opinion and she does not have any signs of a heart murmur. The receptionists was very nice, but the vet was very unclear and caused me a lot of fear and unnecessary money. This is a business to make money.

Okay, so my review of Twin Rivers Animal Hospital. This is all my personal experience of their $79 neutering. Starting the day before the appointment. I was given a call to remind me of my appointment the next day. It was 7:30pm when they called. She told me he couldn't eat or drink past 8pm. Seemed like a last minute thought to call me. Found it strange that they called so late. Next day. Arrived at the vet at 8am, signed all the paperwork, and they took him in the back. Never been there before and so I was kind of uncomfortable that I never met the vet and wasn't even told him name. Oh well, same thing happens at the SPCA so I wasn't worried. Later that day. They told me they'd call me between 2 and 4 to let me know when you pick him up and they never did. I was getting pretty worried so I called after 4 and was like "is he okay? Can I get him" and she's like "oh, yeah. Come get him. He's good." That's really unprofessional and I was worried for my cat. I go in and get him and pay. I pay $15 extra for getting both a tattoo and a chip. Got home and let him out and he was SOAKED with pee. My kennel wasn't though so it happened at the vet. I called and she said it didn't happen there and that she cleaned the kennel and it was fine. Said nothing she could do about it. Paid $15 additional to get both a tattoo and a chip and to my surprise, I got home to put my name on the chip online and found out that it's another $20 for me to do that. I was never told that. I pull apart the paper work and it was at the bottom. I wouldn't have gotten it if I had to pay so much extra for it. My kitten wore his cone every day. I took it off once a day for 10 minutes to wash it cus it would get dirty from the litter and the water fountain. He would sit with either my dad or sister during that time and would get cuddles. Never let him lick his sutures or scratch his face to avoid infections. Saturday, while I was cleaning the cone, my dad noticed that my kitten's ear looks really gross. The tattoo looked infected. Super raised and black and goopie. Used a wet paper towel and cleaned it, became the same again in a few hours. Watched it over the next couple days and cleaned it multiple times a day. Today I got him into the vet. Showed up a few minutes early and waited for 15 minutes in the exam room. Finally met the vet. He said he's never seen something like that before but swears it wasn't from a dirty tattoo needle. He said, "I'll clean it," and then picked up my kitten and left the room with him. I'd like to point out he held him really oddly and wrong. One hand under the chin and one under his ribs by his arm pits. Nothing supporting any of his end half. Walls were thin and I could hear a lady on the other side of the door telling the vet what she saw, what he should be administering and how to clean it. To me that made it seem like he didn't know what he was doing. He came back and told me that it was my fault that it was infected. That he needs to be wearing the cone at all times and he probably cut it while itching it. My kitten never had a chance to itch it. I confirmed it with my whole family that while the cone was being cleaned, that he never itched his tattoo. The tattoo itself after being thoroughly cleaned, I could see a huge slice above the tattoo. Doesn't look like a cat slice though so I do not think he did it. I believe it happened when they were tattooing him. It was infected though so I was given a cleaner and meds to do twice a day for 5-7 days. Luckily I was only charged for the meds and not the visit so that's a plus. Overall, this hasn't been the best experience and I definitely would not recommend this vet. If you're looking for a more affordable option for spay and neuter, just go to the SPCA. I'd also like to point out that the vet was also kind of hard to understand at some points and didn't seem like his English was 100%. Again, this is just my personal experience.

Called Twin Rivers on a Sunday and had an appt with them within an hr. Brought in a stray cat that visits us frequently.... they were kind, caring and understanding. We were new customers and they did not charge us an emergency fee - very reasonable rates. Will be taking my pets here from now on, gained a new customer ????

most unprofessional, terrible experience. My dog tore her declaw while camping and my regular vet had no space. I took her to Twin Rivers who could fit me in.. a guy came in wearing a white coat.. didn't introduce himself, ask how I was doing or anything. I didn't even know if he was the vet, and he literally seemed scared of dogs... He asked what happened so I told him.. and then he proceeded to grab my dog's paw where her injury was and I had to tell him to be careful.. he asked me what I wanted to do and said there were two options - cut the nail or remove the dewclaw surgically.. no other information. I asked him what his recommendation was and he said it was up to me. I asked questions and got very short basic answers. English was not his first language and it was REALLY hard to believe he was a vet with his answers and mannerisms. He made me feel SO uncomfortable. He said he'll bring me a quote for both options. A tech came in with the quotes and I had to ask him if the previous guy was the vet. Didn't see him again. I left, had to pay $60 exam fee and went to my car and bawled. I wouldn't let them touch my dog if you paid me a million dollars. It's baffling to me that this vet has good reviews. The vet in question isn't even listed on their website. I ended up taking her to Kamloops Vet Hospital after hours and paid an extra $300 and am SO HAPPY I did. Worst experience ever here.

I brought my aged cat Freddie in and he had been attacked and badly wounded by a neighbourhood cat. The vet had a big job to perform surgery to reattach his tail and treat the wounds. I had to come back twice for the wound treatment and follow-up. I found all of the staff so friendly and professional. I was expecting a very large bill so was pleased with a very reasonable one. I told my sister who lives in Ottawa and she agreed that I got a good deal at Twin Rivers. Also, my cat seemed relaxed. In addition, the staff did not try to add on unnecessary fees for items that I did not want. Another local vet did this to me and it has happened to me in other provinces. I simply do not return to these vets and let others know of their unscrupulousness. In conclusion, I recommend Twin Rivers Vet to all of my friends and will return to them should the need arise. First time there. We brought our cat in. We were asked to come in the examination room and wait for the vet. They took our cat out to weigh her then let her run around the floor. We quickly noticed streaks of blood and spots of drool from a big dog that had just come out. We didn’t say anything in the moment. The vet came in without introducing himself holding a sticky note pad & pen. He was not very friendly and didn’t seem to like cats. It was very hard to understand his accent. When we returned to get our cat 30 minutes later the blood etc was still on the floor. We mentioned it and got the impression that it wasn’t a concern. Really? My sick cat walking in dogs blood and drool? It should be common practice to clean the exam room between visits. Just didn’t get a good vibe there and didn’t feel or see any love for animals. Won’t be returning. Twin Rivers - your response is a lie. We waited before we were invited into the examination room AND the second time as well. We r super aware of the COVID REGULATIONS especially at this time. We did not move unless told to. We mentioned the blood the 2nd time because it was still there when we came back 30 mins later WHILE other clients and animals had come and gone in that room. I wish I would’ve taken pictures. SO don’t you dare LIE about what happened We deserve an apology for literally calling us liars.

Jenna Zdunich

Friendly and helpful staff! Got my pup in right away when she wasn't feeling well.

Carla Hollsworth

Such reasonable rates. The Dr was very thorough for our puppies health exam!

Matt Nutting

We chose this vet because they had the cheapest prices we could find. When we dropped off our cat this morning to get fixed, they assured us that there would be absolutely NO extra charges, aside from the cone of course. Wich turned out to be too big, anyway. But when we went to pick up our cat, they said there was an extra charge because our cat was in heat. Very frustrated with this as the $130+ we paid is already a chunk of money for us. Definitely wouldn't recommend. They'll lie to you for money.

Jordana Bath

I wouldn't recommend this place. Especially if you are ever trying to get a third country health certificate for travel. It's not the vets job to know how to fill one out which I understand, so I did a months worth of research so there would be no mistakes. On saturday I came back to the vet to get him to sign my paper work. Any time I would tell him what I required from him he would argue with me and say I was wrong. I would then prove from the CFIA website/ emails from them as to what they required. They are very specific, I wasn't trying to be picky but I couldn't make any mistakes or they won't endorse the forms. I had to get my cat a rabies vaccination as that's required for international travel. It states right on the CFIA website the rabies certificate MUST have the animals microchip number on the form. The one he gave me was missing this. I told the vet I would require a new rabies certificate and he told me he absolutely could not "alter" the form. He told me the health certificate he was going to give me would be sufficient enough. I knew that wasn't the case because of how much research I had put into this. On Monday I had to travel to vernon to get my forms endorsed by the CFIA, they confirmed to me the rabies certificate needed to have my cats microchip number on it. I had to tell her I knew that, but the vet had refused to redo the form for me. She then phoned the vet to tell him they required a new form. I picked up a new form today and it now has the microchip number on it. I don't understand why this was even an issue in the first place. All he had to do was add a line on the rabies certificate to include the microchip number but was adamant he couldn't do it. It was a real headache dealing with a "professional" person, who would rather argue with me, than take the time to fill out paper work properly. Honestly just don't waste your time, go to someone who will actually take the time to listen especially when dealing with somethimg so important. I now have to waste more time and money going back to vernon to get this certificare endorsed again for something I KNEW would be an issue all because the vet claimed he was right. Don't waste your time or money here.

Great service. Squeezed my pup in on short notice on a Saturday. They even called to follow up on his progress a couple days later. Have been back twice since for different things and great service each time.

michelle wood

I love my puppy. He's family to us and at twin rivers they treat him like family. When Oreo got sick and ingested a foreign substance (he suckles so possibly a blanket or part of a toy) they made sure he got the best care and consulted us on all treatments. They also kept in touch with us all hours of the night because they knew we were scared for our boy. They took him for a walk when he was able and cuddled him because he thought we had left him there forever even though it was only one night. Twin rivers also deals directly with a few large pet insurance providers so for us that means our vet bills are directly billed to our insurace and we only have to pay the 10% we owe. This was important to us when Oreo got sick and our bill was thousands of dollars as he needed overnight care and IVs and medicine. Last but not least the customer service is great. They are kind and helpful with all questions and have great hours ????

DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PETS!!! the guy here tried telling us our dog had rabies, he even called the next day to see if she was dead yet, NO, SHE DID NOT HAVE RABIES, our dog got properly diagnosed (by a vet who KNOWS what they are doing at a DIFFERENT CLINIC) with a neurological hereditary disease and is doing just fine. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GOING HERE BECAUSE THEY ARE OPEN & IT'S SUNDAY- WAIT FOR MONDAY MORNING, Save your pet and your money for a REAL vet, not this joke.

EXTREMELY dissatisfied. I called to ask a question about my dog regarding poison control and the receptionist was so unhelpful and disregarding. I proceeded to ask which vet was the emergency vet for the night and he couldn't even give me that answer either. I will never be calling again or referring this vet to anyone who cares about their animals and want actual help.

Nice quick visits.

Our best friend of 16 1/2 years was in need of being put down due to failing health. We phoned for an appointment, when we brought him in the assistant was quick to deal with the paperwork side and have a room prepped. We were brought into a room where we spent our last moments together. The Dr was just incredible,so gentle and compassionate. From start to finish in such a difficult time you couldn't ask for a better place.A big thank you to Twin Rivers Animal Hospital for making a emotional time a little more bearable.

Have been there before and was overcharged because the vet knew I had insurance and he went way above and beyond the quote because "you have insurance" Also had them do a dental cleaning on my dog and found out after they pulled her front tooth without checking if I was ok with that or not. Now just had to call because it's after hours and all the good vets are closed and he doesn't have a moment to answer a question on if something my dog ate is toxic or not.. Bringing her to another vet tonight for treatment thanks for caring about her well-being.

The doctor was prompt and courteous

Today I was unfortunate enough to hit someone’s poor cat in my neighborhood while I was on my way to work. After having no luck finding its owner, I rushed to the nearest veterinary clinic which was Twin Rivers Animal Hospital. I brought the cat in and explained my situation, that I was not the pets owner and that I hoped they could identify it in order to find the owners. The Veterinary Technician examined the perished animal while it was in my arms and found no identification. I asked if they would accept the animal and use their resources to help. She explained to me that she would be unable to help unless I paid $55 for cremation. After reiterating to her that I was not the pet’s owner and that I did not have the funds to do so, she stood her ground and said she could do nothing for me. She was very reluctant to help me find an alternate solution, even the number for the SPCA, and let me say, I felt lucky to get a cardboard box and a garbage bag to take the cat somewhere that would help. Needless to say, whether this is store policy or not, I would never, ever, recommend this animal hospital to anyone. I felt the staff to be cold and unwilling to help in this very difficult and sensitive situation. Unless you have money, this “hospital” will be very reluctant to help. They seem to be much more motivated by money than with the love of animals, something I don’t look for in a vet.

Doctor Kataria . is a very caring and compassionate Person. We trust the level of care that he is providing to our boys (dogs). Dr. Kataria was very caring and gentle during our hardest of times when it was time say goodbye to our past boys. We strongly recommend Doctor Kataria service's to anyone that is seeking the very best care of their pets.

I recently took my kittens in to get spayed and was treated exceptionally well. From the Dr. to the rest of the staff, everyone was super and would highly recommend this Clinic.

I have been to twin rivers several times and have been very happy. The last time my poor little dog was very sick. The vet was very caring and talkative. Very helpful and informative. Given the concern he could have done a number of unnecessary tests to make money but he didn’t at all. He made the best. Voice and saved me a lot of money that I know some vets may not have done. Definitely recommend Twin Rivers . Tammy & Sophie

I will never bring my cat there again. I informed them she is high stress when I dropped her off for her appointment at 10 am, I didnt even get to meet the vet they just swooped her away. Then she sat in a cage for 4 hours, allowing plenty of time for her anti-anxiety pill to wear off, until they attempted to BEGIN her appointment at 2 pm. She was so stressed and scared by then she didn't respond to me at all. Then they made ME feel bad about her aggressive behaviour - I gave them fair warning. Do NOT recommend.

Quick and very thorough. They make extra effort to accommodate. Knowledgeable veterinarian.

Twin Rivers Animal hospital has provided terrific service to me and my rescue cats for almost 2 years now. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the doctor is very thorough, the premises are very clean and the animals are treated very well. It was very kind of the person who has written a comment to take the hit cat to the clinic, however the veterinary hospital cannot be expected to pay for every stray/hit animal that is brought in that the person says is 'not theirs'. In my experience with cat rescue, if one picks up an animal on the side of the road, that person is to be commended, but they are also at that instant accepting some responsibility for that animal. Had that cat been alive and treatable, it is likely the clinic staff may have called a local rescue group for assistance - which in the case of the private group I work with, the assistance would most certainly have been given.

Being open on Sunday was a bonus as our kitty was sick on Sat. They were able to see her within only a couple of hours of calling. She's on the road to recovery. Good prices as far as vets go (we've been to many).

I've used this vet for awhile now and do not plan on going anywhere else, they always have space available and fit us in if it's an emergency. The vet is awesome and goes over every possibility and address every concern I have :) I have also phoned a few times with some (probably dumb) questions when we first got our puppy and they always happily answered.

Kendra McCart

I’ve been taking my cats here for years, and Twin Rivers always provides the most affordable and accurate care. One of my cats had a very bad upper respiratory infection last year, and the vet even called me to check in and see how she was doing after a few days on the antibiotics. The vets here know their stuff and are always straightforward with me, and I appreciate it. Definitely recommend taking your furry friends here.

Anne King

Staff and veterinarian took super care of my golden retriever. Doctor spent time with me explaining what needed to be done for my fur baby. Will be back again if and when needed.

Drew Boeckx

Our regular vet that we usually use wouldn't get our very sick pupper in for 4 days from our emergency call. Twin Rivers got us in right away and ended up keeping her overnight for IV meds and monitoring. Set up a very effective care plan over the last couple of weeks and even got us in immediately for another emergency early one morning. Was much cheaper than I thought it was going to be (still pricey but you have to expect it without insurance) and kept us in the loop with diagnosis, treatment path, and forseeable complications with recovery including a treatment plan to combat those potentials as well. My fiance and I are both healthcare professionals and have a good understanding of the diagnosis and pathophysiology involved and the Dr. made sure to take time out of his day to properly explain in depth everything that was going on. Even went as far as giving us a copy of the blood work everytime we drew blood. 5/5 and will exclusively only take our animals here from now on. Completely won us over. Thank you!

Horrible vet with out proper staff has a vet working under another vets name well the other is on holidays... and doesn't treat theyre staff well in fact the staff is scared of theyre boss and lies to protect him this vet killed my dog and won't take any responsibility for theyre actions

Twila Manson

We’ve been taking our cats here since we moved to Aberdeen. We started out using them as they were the closest to our home, but now after using them for the last few years I’d keep them as our cats primary care. Prices are in line with what you’d pay at other vets, but I find the care here better than many other places I’ve experienced. The vet there (can’t remeber his name) is great and will usually go over a treatment plan on the phone with you, without making you come back in to discuss it personally. And they will always discuss with you any other additional treatments and the reasons for them, before going ahead and doing them. And even once with one cat, after several tests were discussed, 2 tests were not done (even though I’d already given the approval for them), because the issue was found with the first test they did. They could have easily gone ahead and done the tests and billed me for them, but instead they chose integrity over profit.

They r AWESOME! Belle loves going in 2 c them

Totally was impressed with this Animal Hospital and the staff! First time I came they gave my dog a Tick biscuit/medication to ward off ticks. The price was much below the vet I used to go to. They later sent me a email to tell me what injections my dog was in need of. I booked an appointment & they worked around my schedule. The receptionist was friendly and the vet was kind & helpful & my dog wasn't at all stressed. I will definitely go back & have them as my dog's regular vet!

Only been in town 1 week and have already used this place 2x. (Super accident prone puppy). They have been wonderful and have managed to get him an appointment in a very reasonable time frame. Same day or next. Great service. Great availibity.

Erin Hunter

We started going to this vet after our dog had an emergency at Christmas and this was the only vet open on boxing day. They were very thorough and even called later to find out how she was doing. We have since started seeing this vet regularly and we are very pleased.

The staff was amazing they took my dog in at the last minute when he was hurt on Vacation
