(Translated) Due to a handling error during the castration of my 3 month old kitten, I lost $ 2000 and experienced horrible psychological distress. I went to get my kitten the day after his operation and he was grumbling a lot, had secretions and coughed a lot. I was told it was "normal" and it would be 24-48h. I suggested that they keep it for the time that it passes and that I could go back to take it later, but I was assured it was ok. I trusted them. 3 days later the condition of my kitten was far from correct and he was in great respiratory distress. We had to go urgently to Daubigny in Quebec City to put them in an oxygen cage for the night, to finally be told that he probably had an infection of the trachea and lungs after intubation for his surgery. They hospitalized her 24h, so 2000 $ of expenses, antibiotics for 2 weeks, an amorphous kitten and extremely weak and a big psychological distress later, I had to give back my baby to my farmer so that she tries to get back on your feet. THE WORST is that the VETERINARY CLINIC OF THE FJORD does NOT assume responsibility and DOES NOT want to take a share of the costs incurred that would have been avoided if they had kept my kitten until it went well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC WITHOUT HUMANITY AND WITHOUT HEART unless you have a lot of money to lose and a mind of steel. (Original) Suite à une erreur de manipulation lors de la castration de mon chaton de 3 mois, j'ai perdu 2000$ et j'ai vécu une détresse psychologique horrible. Je suis allé chercher mon chaton le lendemain de son operation et il râlait beaucoup, avait des sécrétions et toussait énormément. On m'a dit que c'était "normal" et que ça passerait dans les 24-48h. J'ai proposé qu'ils le gardent le temps que ça passe et que je pourrais repasser le prendre après, mais on ma assuré que c'était correct. Je leur ai fait confiance. 3 jours plus tard l'état de mon chaton était loin d'être correct et il était en grosse detresse respiratoire. On a dû aller en urgence chez Daubigny à Québec pour qu'ils le mettent dans une cage à oxygène pour la nuit, pour finalement se faire dire qu'il avait probablement un infection de la trachée et des poumons suite à l'intubation pour son opération. Ils l'ont hospitalisé 24h, donc 2000$ de frais, des antibiotiques pour 2 semaines, un chaton amorphe et extrêmement faible et une grosse détresse psychologique plus tard, j'ai dû redonner mon bébé à mon éleveuse pour qu'elle tente de le remettre sur pieds. LE PIRE c'est que la CLINIQUE VETÉRINAIRE DU FJORD n'assume EN RIEN sa responsabilité et NE VEULENT PAS prendre une part des frais encourus qui auraient été évités s'ils avaient gardé mon chaton jusqu'à ce qu'il aille bien. JE NE RECOMMANDE AUCUNEMENT CETTE CLINIQUE SANS HUMANITÉ ET SANS COEUR à moins que vous ayez de gros montant d'argent à perdre et un mental d'acier. Merci de considérer ce commentaire.. vous ne voulez pas d'une clinique qui prend votre argent et qui vous laisse vous "demerder" par la suite s'il y a des complications par leur faute.
