They show a lot of care for the animals that they take under their care. There’s one thing I do miss from a past Vet I had. That is follow up phone calls. It would be nice that after the appointment, to check in and see how the pet is, they don’t do that! I miss that!

It's ok, but I don't think it is right for these people to ensure a Dr. visit even though I just had my dogs seen recently and they are up to date from my last Vet visit. It will cost me 500 to have them seen and I think ensuring money is wrong on all levels before letting u be a client. It is wrong in my opinion and I have never seen this done before. I have 5 pets to all be seen before they even let me in as a client

Best clinic by far in Lanark County. It's the only vet we have ever used since our first cat who we got way back in about 1992. They were amazing with our first cat and when he needed to be put to sleep they were the most supportive people. They even sent us a card after giving their sympathies to us about the loss of our family member. We now have one cat and a dog and they have been nothing but helpful and amazing with any questions or concerns we have with our animals. Our dog has been through some rough things and they have always made me feel like I had options of how to proceed with things for him. They have never made me feel like I needed to do something that wasn't necessary and always make sure I'm comfortable with any decision. Amazing staff and so kind.

On May 1, 2016 I heard about an incident that greatly troubled me. A woman came in the clinic in a panic with two huskies who had a severe altercation with porcupines. These dogs were clearly in distress having trouble breathing and one appeared to be going into shock. The vet tech on duty appeared to consult with the vet and then told the very upset and crying owner that they wouldn't help her and that she should contact her vet, which the owner had already explained that her vet was closed and untraceable. The vet tech was very rude- basically didn't care. I am appalled at this situation and you would think they could have examined the animals, inoculated them if that was an issue, sedated and removed the quills. The owner was happy to pay for expenses... But no. Perth animal hospital sent these poor dogs away. I think their license should be revoked. I think in light of all the media attention animal cruelty is receiving...that this vet would be smarter. I suggest boycotting this cruel clinic. I think charges of animal cruelty should be laid on this vet and the vet tech. Laws need to be changed to make vets obligated and accountable to care for distressed animals. Shame on you Perth Vet!

Yikes here's a place to avoid, got a five and a half month old Labrador that might have a twisted or broken toe need a simple x-ray as our current vet is much farther away. When asked these people told us no even though it was an emergency situation because we were not a current client of theirs we would have to look elsewhere. Very unprofessional, just want to warn anybody out there who might have an emergency that this is not the place to go. Shame on you! My money is as good as the next guys

Dr. Laarman is fantastic. My cat was showing signs of a UTI, and I had to call after hours. He returned my call within 10 minutes, and had me bring him into the vet 30 minutes later. He was great at answering all of my questions, and explained everything fully. He's the only one I will trust with my pets.

I am new to the area and was a little hesitant to change to a new animal hospital. I read a few reviews and wanted to give it a try. I am so glad I did! Dr. Andrea Stringel, the technicians and the staff at the front desk were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and gentle with my dogs. Today, one of my dogs had to have surgery and I could not believe how all the staff were so supportive! It truly is comforting to know that my dogs are in good hands. I highly recommend this clinic!
