Dr. Saini and his team were great! They were able to tell me what was wrong with my dog that day, put her on antibiotics (which has already helped significantly) and have her booked in the new year for surgery, and all for a great price. I had gone to another local vet several months ago when my dog was vomiting repeatedly, to be charged $600 (without being told the price until I paid!) and to have no diagnosis, only for me to later realize that she was just experiencing anxiety from being away from my mom! I understand why they wanted to do these tests, but my parents were away and I'm a university student so that was quite a bit for me to pay, especially with no warning. Innisfil Vet made sure to go over prices with me before, and I feel much more comfortable with them!

My dog has a fever (hot nose), swelling over the right rib and he does not eat or drink. Took him to this vet. He ordered a $200 blood test that confirmed that he has a fever and some infection. Then he had no idea what was the infection, where was the infection, whether the bleeding was external or internal. He had no answers. He took $409 and sent the dog home with a prescription for some antibiotic and “advice” to take him to the hospital if it gets worse. There was no diagnosis, no treatment plan, not even a prognosis- will my dog be ok? I will be reporting the vet to The Veterenary Colledge. I spoke to him and demanded some details about the condition of my dog. The Vet has no idea. $409 to be sent home with some food and absolutely no idea what’s wrong. He was bouncing off ideas: could be hematoma could be this could be that. He basically sent home a 1.5 year old still puppy in a gravely state and did nothing and just pocketed $409. I am so unhappy with this hospital and the service my dog received. Go somewhere else to get the answers. Do not come here expecting your dog to be treated.

We have been using Innisfil Veterinary Hospital for almost 17 years for our 'herd' of fur babies (dogs & cats). Dr. Saini and ALL the doctors there are incredible compassionate people, and highly educated/skilled professionals. They have never ripped us off, often charging us up to half the price that other vet places were demanding for identical services. They often offer two options whenever possible: high cost and lower cost, if you ask. The support staff is also excellent, understanding that family needs are just as important as the pets needs. It is significant that they allow you to be with your pet during procedures, as opposed to other clinics where you are expected to sit in the waiting area worrying and wondering. Dr. Salima has been to our home a few times to assist with our pets end of life needs over the years. We always receive follow up calls to check up on the progress of our pets after any procedures they've had. When it comes to veterinary medicine, you get what you pay for!!! (Cheaper isn't always better!) AND most important possibly, is that our pets actually ENJOY visiting the clinic because they are so well treated there!!!❤️

Warning: Very long post, sorry! Cannot say enough good things about this Veterinary Hospital. I had brought my newish fur baby to another vet (only because it was so close to my house) but always had this gut feeling I should just stick with my original Vet (Innisfil Vet) where our late fur baby was cared for. Every appointment we went to there were all these added fees. I don’t mind paying for care and it’s not just about the money but after receiving an estimate for our upcoming spay appointment for our pup, I was extremely disappointed with all these added fees again on top of just the spay fee, that were not needed in the total amount of over $1500. So frustrated, I immediately called Innisfil Vet and requested an estimate for the same procedure, for a fraction of the cost! Again just solidified my gut feeling to just stay with my original Vet. All in the same conversation I opened a new file to start bringing my new pup there going forward. Fast forward to today…my crazy clumsy 2 year old long haired fur ball feline was playing tag with her brother and dumped my wax warmer all over herself ????????‍♀️. She was not harmed at all. In fact she just strut her stuff with tail in the air like nothing happened, like she didn’t now have a hardened mass of wax covering a huge part of her back. I then attempted to shave her myself with no luck. So I called Innisfil Vet and they of course, said bring her right in and they will see how they can help. I got there and they took her right in, assesses her, called to say they were confident they did not have to sedate her, performed the de-waxing (shaving lol) and called half hour later when she was done. All with an exam, nail clipping and removed all affected areas. I will never go anywhere else for care when it comes to my fur babies!

I was so upset by the judgement received from this clinic. We have a rescued Persian Cat who is shaved down regularly because she does not tolerate brushing. The COVID pandemic found us in a similar position akin to many pet owners with pets who require regular grooming, we were unable to get her in for way too long. We brushed her as much as we could and bought clippers to try and make her more comfortable but alas, we are not groomers and could only get so far before the clippers and our cat's patience ran out. When grooming re-opened, we took her to her regular groomer who understandably, due to the severity of the matts, was unable to finish the groom. That is when we ended up here. We brought our cat in for a groom under sedation to remove what was left of the matting. We knew she was uncomfortable and we felt terrible for her but knew that under general anesthetic, she would not feel any discomfort. When we picked up our cat, the staff made us feel as if we had purposefully neglected her by making comments like "how could you let it get that bad". The veterinarian also called us to say that we needed to feed her more (she's a small cat, who is a bit underweight but she's a finnicky eater) and brush her more ect ect. This was given to us as recommendations with out any investigation into everything we already do to take care of this special needs lady. I know this is a hard and demanding job. It is easy to become jaded, but to jump to harsh conclusions and make recommendations without investigating the situation is hurting the client/clinic relationship. We wish the team well, and thank them for removing the mat but hope that in future, they will demonstrate professionalism in the face of the client.

My vet office was unable to see my dog. I called Innisfil Vet and they told me to bring my dog right over. I had already taken her to two emerg clinics and her facial swelling was totally distorting her face. Her eye was sealed shut. Biopsy results from the emerg clinic had not come back yet. Dr. Saini took the time to explain possible diagnosis and was kind, compassionate and very thorough. Daisy was prepped for surgery. Luckily, it was just an abcessed tooth. Dr. Saini explained pre and post care and medications for my dog and followed up with two post op calls. I really appreciate everything the staff at this office did for my dog. I would recommend this vet to anyone. I have transferred my records to the Innisfil Veterinary Hospital!! I would like to thank Dr. Saini very much for the great care, compassion and knowledge!!

Cannot get a straight answer. If your pet is sick and you come her be careful what you say because whatever you suggest, even if its wrong because your tryi g to be helpful, they will do that, even though they know its wrong, and charge you the big bucks. If you come tomorrow and another vet is on they will want to do the same xray again as the day before for the same thing and charge you $380.00 again.give you meds to be taken with food when the dog isnt eating.takes saying he wont eat 4 times literally before they hear you. I dont like how you get a different vet every time. But they do speak with a sweet tooth. Very expensive. Dr Simali wanted 60 percent down on the phone before any diagnosis when i had spent 600 just 2 days ago dr. Linda Hamilton that i had at first took the time to chat with me. But the rest no.

Just walked out and will never return. Taking my business to Alcona Vet instead. Had an appointment for my dogs second boosters last night, called them to say I may run a bit late and was told don't worry at all, just come in tomorrow and we will take care of it. I re iterated many times, are you sure? I was told yes. I get there today with my wife and they basically say "why are you here", smirk and mock us and say well we don't have time. This is a terrible way to treat a new client, especially in a small town. They easily could have brought him in and given him his shots, that's what it takes to essentially build a relationship with your community, not laugh in your clients face and mock them and say ok bye. Smh.

These are the most caring, compassionate, non-judgmental pet care professionals I have ever encountered. I have two occasions to be helped by them, the first a very sad occasion but they helped to make an unhappy event more bearable and I recall only the compassion and caring way they helped me through. Recently my little dog displayed some health changes and worried, I called for an appointment. They made an appointment for me same day and made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Hamilton took lots of time to discuss all the possibilities and options and suggested we start with blood work to confirm or eliminate possibilities. I left the clinic feeling 100% better. 24 hours later (an hour after the end of her work day I might add) Dr. Hamilton called to happily tell me there was nothing serious wrong with my little 16 year old dog and in fact expressed she was amazed at the "boring" blood work. There is a reason the Innisfil Veterinary Hospital has been in business in Alcona for 20 years. It's the wonderful people who work there. Not impressed. I was in today to get 5 puppies to see the vet. With there door open I witness two nurses pull a dog across the floor with a blanket. The dog was just finished surgery and not to think they would have a moving table to move the pup on. No. They dragged the dog with a blanket across the floor to move into the next room. I will never come back here again. That was the most cruel thing to do.

I moved up to Innisfil 3 years ago and have not been impressed with the level of care my pets have received at this location. There are too many vets here and only Saini is actually competent/capable of doing more than administering shots or providing general pet advice. Saini has treated my dogs successfully, but the same can’t be said of his ‘associate vets’. My shitzu is 13 years old and suffers from occasional lumps that have been tested for cancer cells but are always benign. Dr. Salima advised me that one of these lumps was just a cycst that could be cut and the debris could be removed so as to not continue to grow and impede his ear canal. He has had this bump for quite a long time but I was worried it would continue to grow per her warnings. I allowed her to cut the cyst, but it was not a cyst at all and instead a growth! It was solid flesh and could not be removed unless he was sedated. I was stuck there for an hour while she tried to get his ear to stop bleeding and it continued to reopen at home for the next couple of days. He was in a lot of discomfort. My dogs issue was not resolved, only exasterbated, and yet I was still charged for this ‘service’. My mastiff had an issue with producing a large amount of black discharge from his ear so I took him into the vets. I believe I met with Dr. Basavaraj who was terrified of my mastiff because ‘the dog was watching him’. He wanted to muzzle him. The vet seemed very inexperienced with handling dogs. He advised me that my dog was allergic to something in my home and sold me a bunch of ear cleaning products. I used these products for over a year once or twice a week thinking that he had an ongoing allergy issue. When I took him into my vets back in Newmarket they performed a swab test and informed me that my dog had been suffering from a yeast infection in his ear…. They gave me proper medication and the issue was resolved shortly.

Our beautiful furbaby Becky had to be put down at 12 year's of age due to complications of her health.we had an appointment for 11.30 .when got there kept us waiting in room for 20 minutes after nurse came in they put her on a blanket that smelt of death and being so upset putting my dog ???? down forgot her blanket at home .it was horrible lying on floor with my beautiful Becky.petting her as she passed. On blanket of death. Please try to rember your fur baby's blanket. So you don't halfto go through this. Greatly missed my beautiful girl.Always with you Always with me.

First time taking my pet to this vet. Found the front staff, vet tech and the vet to be all very friendly. The vet ensured to explain everything to me step by step. My dog has a growth on his neck that may be Lymphoma but may not be. I was explained the different possible scenarios and outcomes that can happen and the process for getting the necessary samples. I was provided with timelines to expect for the results. I was also carefully explained the estimate before anything was completed to ensure that I was happy with the pricing before anything was completed. Hard to say how reasonable their pricing is as only initial visit and testing so far but it did not seem too outrageous and made sense. Will update once my dog has had some further visits.
