Good. Great employees
Picked up cat food. Very friendly and helpful staff,
Helpful, knowledgable, caring but so busy!
I felt comfortable with the staff and the vet was thorough explaining things to me which made me happy. People say you can tell what the vet is like by your pets reaction when they get home; well our baby showed no stress and seemed relaxed. She played for a bit and is now resting comfortably. Very happy with our decision to take our pet there.
Very friendly staff and doctors. Showed great care for my dog :)
They were very professional in handling a difficult situation with a dog we had just bought.
The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful ????
Prices are reasonably. Staff is friendly and professional. Taking care of my dogs for 20 years.
I've been going to this clinic with my pets for about 20 years and feel very comfortable recommending them
We have had great experience with the Clinic. This is our third visit. Very helpful and professional. We're new to the place since we have a new puppy 6 months old. Prices are reasonable, so far it meets our needs! They're informative about all the treatments and what needs to be done.
Have become over priced and the male vet they have there is not personable. He seems to be just out for the money. Too bad they used to have a lovely lady vet there before.
Helpful, knowledgable, caring but so busy!
After bringing my cat home after a few years spent with someone else, she was alarmingly thin. The doctor here diagnosed her with hyperthyroidism, which makes sense for an otherwise healthy, 13 yo cat. He prescribed a trial run of methimazole treatments, which is relatively routine. After the first week, it was clear the medication was making her vomit, a lot. We called with our concerns and were dismissed. During the second week of trial runs, the dosage is doubled. The vomiting worsened and she became lethargic. When she went in for her checkup her lymphs in her neck were enlarged. The vet here did a biopsy, that I didn't think she needed. It seemed clear to me it was because of the medication. A day later she developed a nose bleed. The vet here scoped her and wanted to take a chest xray to check for cancer. Again, I didn't think that was the cause nor did I think it was necessary. He did it anyway. He wanted to keep her for three more hours than necessary. I demanded that I be allowed to take her somewhere else. The second vet recognized the emergency and we took her to the animal hospital in Kelowna. By then she was bleeding from her rectum. We gave her an IV and a blood transfusion. No visible cancer in the xray. 24 hrs later she was internally bleeding in her hind legs. The non-specific bleeding wasn't stopping and she was missing clotting agents from her blood. The transfusion didn't seem to help with that. She was bleeding from her nose, her rectum, and internally. She had to be put down. After finding a study done on ~200 cats treated with methimazole in a journal of veterinary medicine from the 1980's, serious bleeding disorders or other serious hematologic problems can develop as a severe reaction to the medication in a small percentage of cats. Why were we not warned about any side effects? Why were we dismissed when we called with concerns about side effects? Why wasn't an alternative diet a suggested treatment in lieu of medication in an otherwise healthy cat according to her blood test? Did the doctor allow me to medicate my cat to death? I can't prove anything, and I'm not a veterinarian, but my beloved cat is dead days after giving her this medication for two weeks. To me, it feels like negligence and malpractice in a for-profit system. I feel like I was directed to poison my cat and because I didn't fight the doctor hard enough, I killed my best friend. I will never bring a pet here ever again.
They took great care of my Aerial. Very thorough and explained everything.
This is the best place to take your fur babies They are pleasant and understanding how we love our pets and go above to help us .Martie would not let me take him anywhere else , plus you can go in with your babies and hold him or her my cat being a Farrell cat needs me to be with him at all times in a stress situation love that part and they text you to see how the animal is doing , have had nothing but pleasure with the Drs ,only place to go xxxxx.
Vets that care, pricing that isn't outrageous, and they put my dogs at ease when I bring them in.
Great place! Very caring and accommodating staff.
Great place! Very caring and accommodating staff.
Expensive!!
Always very good to my dog and he is very difficult for them
The staff and Veterinarians at Anderson clinic are so kind, caring and compassionate that I couldn't imagine taking a pet anywhere else. John Cruickshank has got to be the most dedicated & thoughtful doctor I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you all for doing such an awesome job!
Dr Bull is a very kind and caring man
Extremely nice and friendly staff the system they have in place for covid is top-notch keep up the good work
Can't say one thing bad about this clinic. They are so friendly. I would highly recommend Anderson Veterinary Clinic to everyone
Brought my 2 pups in for their boosters, and the vet was wonderful with them! They are naturally fearful of the vet's office, but she got down onto their level for their physical instead of doing it on the exam table, plus she carried them and rocked them back and forth during their boosters so they didn't even realized it had happened! I am such a happy puppy-mommy with this visit, I can't even express how happy. :D
Really felt that they cared about my puppy Ace.
Dr. Bull and the entire team at Anderson VC have been in the care of my pups for 3 years and I have nothing but good things to say. Through some difficult times and decisions, Dr. Bull has been professional, kind and, of most importance to me, sincere. His advice has given confidence and assurances along with sincere input of the possibilities be the situation negative or positive. I love my dogs (two large breed) and have full confidence in the care given at Anderson Clinic.
Amazing, caring, and compassionate. So lucky to have this clinic in Penticton!
Very good to my kitty. Reasonable prices and always friendly and helpful.
Took our puppy there for his second set of vaccinations and were pleased with the staff and cleanliness of the building. The doctor was very knowledgeable and treated our puppy like it was her own. Needless to say, we will be returning for his third shots in a month. Thanks!
I trust the whole team. I've been coming with all my dogs for over 25 years. They never "over test" and are so thorough and compassionate.
Even though the Vet is not Stewart's favorite place to go we had a great first visit to Anderson's Vet Clinic today. Dr. Crookshanks is knowledgable, kind, thorough and prudent. I felt like he totally "got" my dog, understood his greatness, and appreciated and supported my feelings about his treatment. It was all pretty delightful. The staff were all wonderful too. Great job over there at Anderson's! Stewie gives PAWS UP!
Thanks to Dr. John and all the staff for their excellent care.
Brought my male and female cat to get fixed and both times were absolutely atrocious. Invoices differed greatly between each time it was either printed or sent and it felt more like a cash grab during the pandemic. Not at all a fun experience either times.
I have been extremely happy with Anderson vet. All the vets and assistants are wonderful with our old dog. The doctors are compassionate and thorough. Highly recommend.
Dr. Bull is seriously an incredible vet, he's so patient, kind, and helpful
Great friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. Exam didn't take long and everything that needed doing, was. Definitely going there from now on
Pricey, but their care and compassion is unparalleled. Took great care of our girl.
Excellent care for your beloved pet!
Great Staff. Anderson has taken good care of my bully on a few worrisome occasions.
not my usual vet,I went there to buy cat food. They told me that the cat food I wanted was prescription cat food and that they would need something from my regular vet to say that I was allowed to buy it. It is recovery cat food and you can buy it at any other veterinarian without a problem. So I had to phone my regular vet and have them call Anderson. Anderson then said they wanted a prescription fax to them, which my regular vet was kind enough to do. I had to stand outside for 15 minutes in the cold wind while they organized all this. It was ridiculous and I will never return there again. You can walk into the soyuz vet and literally by the same cat food without a problem in 5 minutes.
Excellent service for my puppy's 1st shots
Veterinary Clinic it's an expensive one.
Always friendly and helpful, have been going here with my fur babies for years. Love the care that we receive each time.
Very accommodating. Excellent service.
Very helpful, pleasant staff, and friendly vets. They've been there for us with all our pets, and we always leave with every question answered.
Clearly this veterinarian only cares about money. We have a very sick white, elderly, cat that may require expensive treatment but instead of being helpful and quoting us prices for an exam, biopsies, anesthesia, etc their receptionist was totally dismissive, lacked compassion and was no help at all. If I could give less than one star I would. We will go to Spall & Harvey for treatment for our 7 cats and 2 dogs where they actually demonstrate empathy, are knowledgeable about costs involved and actually try to help customers provide the best care for their much loved pets.
Friendly knowledge staff the only vet I use in Penticton. Nexgard flea and tick treatment, dog dental chew sticks and dog kibble
Great care for your furry or feathered family member
Great pet care.
We just relocated from West Vancouver. we have two Rescue cats Zeke and Rumble. 10 year old brothers. We were skeptical on finding a new clinic to have their nails clipped as the 6 years we have had them they have been terrified in going to have them done... They have them clipped every two months and I dreaded it more than they did i'm sure. Rumble use to be traumatized for two days after before he would return to his normal loving self. The staff here were fantastic with them. We are pleased to say more so thrilled to say after returning home you would never know they even had them done other than no claws.. The two gals rock that looked after them... SUCH A FRIENDLY CARING BUNCH AT ANDERSON'S VETERINARIAN CLINIC IN PENTICTON.
This vet clinic went above and beyond to bring my cat in for emergency visits, and solved a major underlying issue for him. He's super healthy now and I owe it all to the expertise at Anderson's. Though they are not the cheapest vet, I would recommend them to anyone needing great care for their pet. Thank you Anderson's!
I went to get a specific parvo distemper shot only, I was assured over the phone they provided it. So I showed up, they did the exam, and they tried to inject a 4 way vaccine, which I specifically said I didn’t want. I also confirmed 2 more times before going. So I didn’t get the shot as I was told They had, then they charged me $80 for 10 minutes of looking him over. I would never have gone in the first place if they had actually told me the truth. So now I’m out $80 and I need to go elsewhere to get the 2 way shot as I requested. Waste of time and money, highly recommended to go elsewhere! The vet also doesn’t support feeding raw, which is the canine natural state of eating. Go watch the Netflix “pet fooled” and see how terrible the kibble really is.
All of the staff are very helpful and friendly.
The Veterinarians are great, caring and knowledgeable. Staff friendly.
Very lovely people and very good with my dog, highly recommend.
Amazing staff!!! Always quick to answer and make you feel at ease dropping your pets off there!
Professional, thorough and caring.
Helpful
You honestly couldn't ask for a better vet Tyson Bull is simply amazing! The whole clinic is fab and CARING. Hard to find these days.
Did not keep me waiting . very good with my Dog. Price pretty good. Friendly Staff
I can't say enough good things about the staff here. Wonderful with the last few years of our dogs life
They are very caring. They are taking the proper precautions during Covid 19 They come to the car & take your pet for treatment & then return it. The Vet then comes out & reports to you what they did. All very efficient & caring. I have been taking my various pets for many years.
Everything from the vets to the staff at this wonderful place are absolutely amazing. I would give it 6/5 stars if I could. They have saved my dogs life. Thank you guys for everything you're simply the best - ginger Johnson
Top notch service!! Super caring!
Fantastic vet. They're great with my vet-aggressive dog, and make me feel comfortable (and not self conscious about his bad behavior)
Was able to fit me in at the last second. Amazing experience here, will be taking my cat here for everything in the future. Dont go anywhere else, this is where you need to go.
My cat was coughing constantly and I thought he had a trapped hair ball in his throat. After I noticed he was starting to breathe through his mouth, plus seeing he was taking quick short breaths, I decided he must go to a vet. At Anderson, they managed to slot my cat in on the same day. He had an x-ray done here and found water build up around his lungs which was limiting his breathing capability. They quickly got in contact with the veterinary hospital in Kelowna for treatment. Thanks to the quick actions done by Anderson, my cat is still here. Thank you.
Every time I go here it is a good experience and my dog has a great time with the vet and assistants! They were very quick with the extra safety measures due to covid, so that was nice too. Definitely recommend this place!
Took my buddy Oscar there for a small operation his paw, having pets for over 35 years and dealing with many veterinary clinics over the years I can say by far this is the best veterinary clinic I have had the pleasure dealing with. They tell you everything up front no hidden surprises very professional. Thank You to all the staff there job well done guys:)
They are always accommodating and very kind and loving towards our animals, Tyson is amazing...and all the girls that work there...
Very helpful, compassionate and nice to my overly excited dog
It was a very sad say, we put our dog down, not even a week after our cat. Very sad !!!!!!!!
Very caring place for our pets.
Doesn’t matter if animal could be dying we’re booked go somewhere else
This is a very compassionate , professional clinic. We called in with an emergency during working hours and they rearranged their schedule to see us while our regular vet wanted us to go to Kelowna. We will be bringing all our pets to this clinic. Dr Petrisor did an excellent job stitching up our badly injured dog. The staff is friendly, we are so happy they could see us.
Covid protocol in place, friendly staff, my appt was on time. Vet Dr Tyson personable. My first visit with a 4 Mos puppy, very happy.
Absolutely the kindest group of people. They look out for your pets’ best interests and help you make informed decisions. Dr. Cruikshank is very knowledgeable and amazing to work with. Highly recommend this clinic.
Bit pricey for what you get (lack certain diagnostic equipment) but caring staff.
Great!
I took my 2 month old puppy there for her second vaccination. Very friendly staff. They go above and beyond to make sure your fur baby is healthy and doing great! They made sure my puppy was right on track with growth and her health. I will definitely be going back. I highly suggest this vet!
Best vets ever. All the stuff is wonderful.
Highly recommend! The friendly and knowledgeable staff put us at ease when we took our dog in for a wound assessment. Very good COVID safety precautions in place as well.
First time taking our Great Dane in and was very happy. Was hoping for a last minute appointment as our Dane seemed to have an infection and within an hour they called with a cancellation for that day. Also returned the next week and got our girl her vaccinations.
Very caring staff showing concern for our pet. We have mainly used Tyson bull for our black lab, he is. Knowledgeable and understanding. I would highly recommend the Anderson clinic for first class care.
Pet was cared for very professionally

Staff are very caring
Anderson Vet is always fantastic. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. They always give all the options available, and information explaining any injuries in plain language making it all easier to understand.
Alright place
I am so thankful to have such a wonderful and compassionate veterinary clinic. There have been numerous amounts of occasions over the last year where my chihuahuas needed immediate attention and not once have they turned us away no matter how busy they were or how close to closing time it was . Dr. Cassandra has been so amazing and I just want to give her a big shout out on behalf of my little Diesel and Daisy ! Thanks for being so amazing .
Wonderful
We're very disappointed. Our dog has several fatty deposits - little lumps under the skin - and one in particular worried us because of it's size. The vet was very professional and caring, and said it most most likely nothing serious, but just to be sure he recommended a biopsy using a needle to extract a sample for analysis. When we asked what this would cost he said approx $120, so we said yes to the procedure. When we got the bill though, we were very surprised to discover it was actually $202. Apparently it slipped his mind to tell us the cost of the needle is $60 and there's a $22 shipping charge. After several very satisfied visits to this clinic this was a very negative experience and unexpected - and we think a very poor business practice. It felt a lot like bait and switch.
Very busy phones but wonderful staff.
They are very polite really understanding and did everything to help me and my cat thank you to all that work there big hugs from me and my baby ( cat)
