Robert Michaud Owner, Hôpital vétérinaire de la Montagne Gatineau, Quebec, Veterinary .... doctor and his team are very professional ... April 20 I was looking for a clinic that saw my almost dying Rozlka yorke terrier, Eardly hospital in Aylmer in which had been costumer for 20 years, 2 days before I was with Rozalka in the clinic we have prescription for med., and we pay $270 , they disappointed me very much, without asking the doctor lady from the front desk sent me to the emergency room in Ottawa, which automatically connected with a huge expense, I called a few other clinics, and I heard the same.... emergency...., only doctor Michaud replied and to my delight answer was a positive we have visit at 7:30 pm the clinic was open until 8:00 pm Doctor and his assistant stay with us until 10:00 pm. I was very insistent to do ultra sound and X-ray , but this wonderful man did not want me to pay for additional expenses, he said that we will do only a blood test and later we will see what's next. DR. Michaud ordered me to discontinue the medicines which I got early from the Eardly Clinic, food that I could feed the syringe with and the same way to give water. the next day DR. Michaud called with the result of blood, the test show that was something wrong with kidneys, nothing serious, of course I fell into panic, what should I do? i need some medicine more tests ?doctor answer was..... for now nothing, do what I ask, we will decide on Monday. My beloved rozalka was in agony, I with my friend, we are already mourned Rozalka, she was like a cloth poured through our hands .... about 4 pm r Rozalka got up and went on a diaper to pee, on the way back went to drink water and eat some food, to my great joy, an hour later Rozalka drinking and eating , she followed me, she was very alert ..... medications prescribed in Eardly Clinic were inappropriate, Rozalki organism was systematically poisoned ..... in my eyes Dr. Michaud is a wizard he saved Rozalke for not big fee ....... I highly recommend, wonderful doctor, it's hard to find one like him ..... thank you doctor, I am very thankful Rozalka, too Mila Andrzejewska

Dr. Michaud is second to none! He loves animals, he's caring, immensely knowledgeable, and will take the time to explain. I have no complaints if I need to wait and that's because he's giving his utmost attention to emergency situations. It doesn't feel like it's all about the money like other places I've gone to over the years proposing unnecessary procedures. This would never happen with this veterinarian. Here's a concrete example: Two weeks ago Sunday, my lab developed a worrisome cough and was gaging, and this went on all day. At 11:45 PM, my dog was coughing so much that I called Dr. Michaud's cell phone and left a message not knowing if I should bring him to an emergency hospital. Within 10 minutes, he called me back, asked questions, and provided a recommendation. I got immediate results and am very happy to share that my Harley's cough quickly subsided and totally improved. Not only did he save an enormous cost, time and panic, by not needing to go to the emergency, but he reassured me. I was so worried. What doctor do you know, be it a veterinarian or for that matter a medical doctor, that is as caring and devoted as he is? Thank you, Dr. Michaud, you are top notch!...and that's why I rate you second to none. My pooch is sooo lucky to have you. Happy New Year!!!

(Translated) 3 years ago we were referred to Dr. Michaud by a work colleague. Our Labrador needed veterinary care. Dr. Michaud diagnosed our dog very quickly (after examining him) and prescribed a treatment which cured our dog. For several years and after having consulted some veterinarians in the region without success, Dr. Michaud cured our dog. He is empathetic and very "down to earth". He should be a reference for all young veterinarians in Quebec! (Original) Il y a 3 ans on a été référé à Dr. Michaud par une collègue de travail. Notre labrador avait besoin de soins vétérinaire. Dr. Michaud a diagnostiqué notre chien très rapidement ( après l'avoir examiné) et a prescrit un traitement qui a guéri notre chien. Pendant plusieurs années et après avoir consulté quelques vétérinaires de la région sans succès Dr. Michaud a guéri notre chien. Il est empathique et très " terre à terre". Il devrait être une référence pour tout les jeunes vétérinaires du Québec!
