My dog had suffered from seizures for quite a while we were told by our regular vet at All Creatures it was no big deal refused to look into. Last night he suffered the worst seizure we took him too KV Animal hospital they were very professional and unfortunately he probably had a tumor . Today we had to put him down and return to useless All Creatures to do it.

Can I get the same service I'm seeing others post? My story with this place is unbelievable.... My dog has been going to this place every month for 5 years, from the beginning I should have known they did not have her best interest at heart - when they wouldn't allow me to update her file to reflect my new phone number for almost four years. It was the rules apparently and I had to use my ex partners phone number for four years to look up her file. Then one day they just changed it, I guess they no longer felt like "it was the rules" to never be able to change a phone number on the file. It was a basic relationship between my dog and this place, once a month Holly comes in for a needle for her Addison's disease and we go home. The first time we really needed this place to help us, nobody was there to help her. Holly developed a cyst on her paw that became infected, and we came in for help. After five years, this vet knows that Holly is very sensitive to being inside that building and that stress is not good for an Addison's dog. In fact, stress can trigger an Addison's crises, and so small acts of compassion can be done to prevent undue stress. However, we were made to wait in the room for about 20 minutes, my dog shaking and shaking. That's ok I guess because it is normal for dogs to be made to wait in the room, but then the vet comes in, does not even look at the cyst or tell me that's what it was (I had no idea what was wrong or that it was a cyst, my second trip to hampton vetinary clinic advised me what was wrong). What happens is the vet walks in, bursts open the cyst and walks out. Her paw is bloody and I don't even have a bandage to protect the raw wound for our drive home. I have no idea what's even wrong with her paw. I pay $90 for nothing and go home with a ten day prescription for antibiotics. The antibiotics sort of did the trick, and then her cyst came back. At this point I took her to Hampton Vet and received AMAZING SERVICE!!!! They took a swab of her cyst to find out what type of bacteria was in there, we left with a care system of bandages, and an antibiotic cream that will help to kill the bacteria, and unfortunately had to give a new 30 Day Antibiotic program for her to take - because the other vet did not provide enough antibiotics that she needed. Because she did not get the antibiotics she required the first time with KV, Hampton vet advised me that the bacteria that remained was even stronger now since we did not give enough antibiotics on the first round and the bacteria left was able to develop even stronger. Holly's suffering with that foot was prolonged because the vet could not give literally more then one minute of time or to evaluate the level of care that was actually required. The one time Holly needed care, this place provided nothing except us sitting confused and stunned with a bloody paw and not even a bandage to go home with, a raw wound open for the drive home and literally 60 seconds of help - So that's what $90 will get you here - prolonged suffering for your animal since adequate care is not provided the first time around. I have five months left with this place - Today Holly had to go in for her monthly needle and unfortunately it is a brand new bottle so we have five months left with them - for five years the vet tech comes outside to give the needle because as I mentioned, Holly is scared of going inside. Today, they made us go inside because they know we are switching to Hampton Vet care. We have never had to go inside once before. Once inside, they treat me with a nasty attitude. They never asked how is her paw? How is Holly? Instead the only thing they said to me was "You owe $350 for hew new bottle of medicine" and that was it. This place has lost touch, they do not care about my dog but are happy to take money. In fact in previous visits I have paid when I was comfortable, but today it was GIVE US THE MONEY attitude. Today as I left and they took out their anger of her leaving to go to another vet by causing undue stress, I think, how low can you go?

Apparently on Dec 10/17 Dr Kelly didnt like something I posted (all generically mind you - no naming names, not naming the clinic) on MY PERSONAL FACEBOOK page. That was the date we were there last. Fast forward to today - October 25/18 - the morning of our first appointment for our TEN pets (meaning lots of $$) and I get a call from the receptionist at KVAC telling me that Dr Kelly has decided that she's too uncomfortable (pissed is more like) to see us as clients. WHA? Over a year old FB post that didn't mention names - which I might have shared, or written myself, God knows because no one can remember the post. I can honestly say that this childish behavior is just that. So - if you want an immature vet who is prone to use Facebook against you for something you cant even remember and she cant even be specific about? Sure go to KVAC. Keep in mind - only my FRIENDS can see my posts - so what does that tell you. All she had to do was call us and ask if there was something they could clarify, something they could explain.....but no..............all I can say now, is that they apparently did us a favor. ADIOS KVAC - this is our huge amount of cash walking away from you and your immature vet. Oh, and apparently they had the foresight to BLOCK ME on Facebook. Good grief.

I cannot say anything about the vets as I couldn't get an appointment. When I first got my Great Dane, 14 months ago, I was told by a lady on the phone (not sure of her position), that my dog was to big and that they were unable to take him as a Patient so I went to Dr. Blaney at the Atlantic Veterinary Hospital on Old Hampton rd in Rothesay. My Dane and I were accepted with open arms and have been there since. Your choice, my experience.

My dog had a burst cyst that needed immediate attention, and Dr Abbate was there to help my little dog when she needed him. I had called the night before to make a appointment, but the next morning, things had become more serious. I called the clinic as soon as they opened, and they recognized the urgency and had me come early. Dr Abbate addressed the issue, and gave her antibiotics, and gave me healing advice. It's been 3 days now, and she is definitely on the mend. Thank you Dr Abbate and the vet techs at Kennebecasis Animal Hospital!!

They are caring to their pets but if you dont mind a nice 30-45 min drive to save a lot of money than St Martins NB on Upper Quaco Rd is a wonderful Vet Office called Stoney Brooke! Quick appointment dates! Open Monday to Friday 830am-430pm local time. Had my girl Puff fixed there & the incision was literally a dot on her belly. Instead of a big long scar like my poor girl Abby got when she was fixed! They are hands down the best clinic in the area! Great affordable prices 150ish for Puff to get fixed & $75 even to have their shots 1 & 3 year ones ! They currently due to covid have window service when purchasing an item & one person in at a time. Not sure if it has changed since though. That was 2 weeks ago! Definitely give them a try!! ????????

Today I called KV animal hospital to book my 6month old kitten for his neutering and pick up another box of Advantage. Their website indicated they were open til 5pm. When I called I received their voice-mail saying they were closed. I knew this was not the case because I was in their parking lot waiting to arrange a pick up for some advantage. I also wanted to book his neuter surgery. My cat had been going to them for all of his shots since he was 3 1/2 months old. I walked up to the clinic doors and it was open so I walked in to wait for assistance. At that point I asked if they were closed because of the voice-mail and the lady behind the desk was short and curt saying no were open. When I explained to her that I called and let her know the voice-mail says they are closed today she ignored me. Then I a second lady came to the desk and answered the phone about someone outside asking to come in. She told him that she had a line up and they only wanted one person in the clinic at a time. The staff were very unfriendly at KV animal hospital as they would not acknowledge why they had falsely put on their voice-mail that they were closed and gave me attitude because I came in their open clinic where I only brought my kitten for routine care to ask to buy more advantage. I was planning on booking my kitten Ories' neutering appointment and decided that due to the unprofessionalism from the front desk I did not want to be treated like that again. I love my kitten and just want to take him to a place where people are respectful, courteous, and of course can provide my fur baby with the best care. Not very professional or friendly staff. Maybe caught them on a bad day. Not sticking around to find out.

If I could go to a Veterinarian rather than a family Doctor, I would go here! Why?, Fun fact #1 FROG will ensure the highest level of quality care possible for your pet. #2 Dr. Kelly doesn't hesitate to sit on the floor to get down to your pets eye level..the examination table is just an option :) #3 Everyone that works there has a pet..seriously, chickens, minis, goldens..it a virtual Noah's Ark!! #5 It's rumored that one of the technicians is an amazing dog obedience trainer, although, I think it's extends to humans too, I haven't chased the mailman in months #5 Definitely not a fun fact but a necessary one. When it comes to the hard end of life decision, Dr. Kelly is the most caring, kind and compassionate soul. She held my boy Frank long after he had passed, and let me exit through the side door so no one had to see me ugly cry. In all seriousness, EVERYONE that works there is amazing, they care for your pet and your person.

Awful.The "lady" in reception was rough and rushed.She snatched the pet carrier away,banged it on the washroom door and again on the door jamb into the care area. Asked to remove hair lumps(cat was in for claw clipping),and instead of a clip she shaved a swath 2in by 5in... ridiculous! Then she grabbed my Mother's credit card and slapped it on the auto-charge,too busy to let her handle it by herself,about30 seconds,! Never again. Steve Smith..849-4942.

I'm sorry but , our appointment was for 4pm. We were late getting there arrived at 4:10 first thing out of their mouth's was please pay us the money 300.00 found that strange. So I was expecting the vet to get to work quickly. Had to wait in a room for over 20 mins as he was attending to other patients. I thought I would be the last of the day but that was not the case. My dog by now from waiting so long figured out what was going on from step daughter and myself crying uncontrollably. She started to shake and tremble , she was terrified. Vet came in to inject a sedative in her rump and the dog turned around to look at the vet and he said dont look at me. Nice thing to say. At least with that over she relaxed. The he came back and put her down. While we left alone with our pet while she had her last breaths. I came out to witness more dogs being shuffled in for one reason or another. I would have figured we should have be the last patients there but not the case there were a few. Our pet last minutes was of her being terrified. What a great way to depart this earth . I am totally appalled at what happed. Do not take a animal there to be put down . I would not wish this experience on anyone or any animal. The memory of having to put down your dog is bad enough but this is far worse.

The KV Animal Hospital has poor business practices. Ruger had an appointment for next wednesday. I called to confirm the appointment. Moments ago, Angie called to inform me that they have to cancel my appointment because the hospital is no longer my main vet. In November of 2019, I had two dogs with kennel cough and one with pnemonia and I was unable to get in immediately, so I had to make an appointment at Rothesay Ave Vet (They were great). Ruger has been a customer at KV animal hospital for 4 years and because we had to go elsewhere due to them booking months in advance. They now refuse to see him. Please be aware of how little they care about their customers.

My girlfriend and I brought her cat in because he was dying. (16 year old cat). We brought Sammy there to end his suffering. Instead they hooked him up to an IV for about 5 mins and sent him home with us. Charged me 211$ for hooking him up to an IV. Sammy died within an hour of us being home. Thanks for making us pay 211$ to witness our cat die.

I have not had any experience with this Animal Hospital until this past Sunday. We were trying so desperately to find someone to see three dogs that had had an encounter with a porcupine.and finally the doctors here were able. It was awful and when we finally got there they worked on one of the dogs for at least three hours taking out quills. They were poked many times themselves and bleeding. They tried so hard but were very up front and honest about the quality of life he would have had trying to to recover because so many quills had broken off and were unable to be removed. They waited patiently while the hard decision was made to let the dog go. After that they still had two more dogs to deal with. We were all very tired. I thank them so much for seeing us that night.
