We took our elderly dog here for treatments and eventually to put him to sleep. Dr Domke and the staff were great, compassionate and listened to our concerns. When it came time to say goodbye, they allowed us to do it on the grassy patch by the building so that all of us could be present without exceeding the covid limits. In the end, we could not have asked for a more lovely way to say goodbye.

I used to take my dogs there but last May I brought my small dog in to check a lump that developed. They said it was nothing and charged me outrageous amounts for the visit. I called in January 2021 to see if I could talk to a vet or make an appointment because the lump was really growing over the last month or so. They said they need an appointment ($80) plus blood work ($130) and then would give me an estimate for the surgery in March ($500+). I said I would take the appointments but then called other vets. I got into Southeast the next day. Unfortunately they did a biopsy and the lump is cancerous. We have surgery tomorrow. My 9 year old dog is in excellent health otherwise but the prognosis is uncertain. If only St Pierre vet had done a biopsy in May 2021 I wouldn't be in this situation. They appear to only care about the money and give sub par care. I won't be recommending them to anyone I know and will posting the outcome with my pet. I'm heartbroken that I trusted them and now my poor dog will suffer because of my decision and their ineptitude.

They are also affordable and have a lab and all that onsite! They recently just saved my dogs life with a surgery and she is recovering well. they are also there to help you along your journey with your pet :)

Due to an unfortunate accident our little dog popped her eye out of the socket. Of course this happened on a Saturday evening at 9.30 pm. We phoned the vet clinic and couldn’t believe our luck to be able to actually get dr. Venessa Graydon herself on the phone. She agreed to meet at the clinic immediately and within 15 minutes we where there. She was super nice, and did surgery right away. Couldn’t believe how quick and adequate she worked on our dog and how sweet she was towards our super nervous dog and us. I was already remortgaging our house in my mind thinking this would be next to unaffordable because of not only weekend, but also evening and surgery and medication and all other expensive sounding things happening! Much to our surprise the bill was amazingly affordable and we were blown away by how super awesome dr Venessa handled the situation even without any assistance of staff. She gladly answered all curious question our son and I had for her about everything going on with our dog and we learned a lot from her while she worked on our little dog. If I could give ten stars I would but 5 stars it is! Couldn’t have wished for a better Vet! When we went back for stitches removal ( eye had to be halfway stitched closed half way to prevent re-popping out due to swelling) we got the good news the vision was restored, and that visit was at no charge, how awesome is that? THE best vet ever :) highly recommend!

Even during the covid19 pandemic when vet visits were hard to get, Graydon vet clinic allowed us to wait in the parking lot while a vet tech came to our car and gently carried kev inside for his appointment. When the tech was finished with him and the results were ready she brought back a very happy relaxed dog. Kev is usually beside himself and shaking and crying after the vet. This time he seemed happy. She explained what was wrong and my mom went in to pay and grab his items. Even on the drive home my lil boy was pleasant and relaxed. I've been following instructions and kev is already feeling back to his old self! I really appreciated the option of having a vet tech perform the check because it allowed us to get in quicker and they were amazing with the execution of safe social distancing. Overall great experience 10/10 will continue going there. Highly recommend

TLDR; this place is great, clean. A wonderful and welcoming atmosphere every visit. The staff are super friendly, and are willing to assist to help the pet owners feel at ease. Starting at the front of staff, Alisa is always so helpful and understanding. One instance: I came in with my dog with multiple open wounds, even though I had called earlier and was told there was no vet around, because Pet Vet was too busy and I was in a panic. I told her that I just needed a technician to check it out for me so I could calm down enough to decide what to do next. I was told by the technician he would need antibiotics and maybe be put into surgery to close it up, but because there is no vet available she said I shouldn't take her word for it and medication cannot be dispensed, which I knew already. They were both able to direct me to other vets in the Steinbach area that I could go to. Sure enough, I was recommended surgery, even though I was also told by the vet I could go home with antibiotics and pain relief. Also vaccination reminders and health check up reminders sent by mail are so cute. Dr Whipple saw us a few times and Dr Graydon once. They were both extremely kind, and very friendly. My most memorable visit was with Dr Whipple and my late cat. He had been attacked by a dog on Labour Day and I had hoped it wasn't as bad as I had hoped because of circumstances of my adopting him. She didn't make me feel bad for not taking him in earlier, and also informed me that they are open for emergencies if we call beforehand. She did a thorough check with his back end, and offered several good recommendations. He was deteriorating in front of us. I told her I was under budget and that my partner felt he had to be put down. When I told her that, she understood right away. I told her I wanted to know for sure, so she did an x-ray and explained in detail it would be the right thing to do. I am very grateful of the back end staff and technicians, who showed their compassion in their small gesture. He had soiled his box and towel, and so while they were preparing him, they had cleaned him up to the best of their ability and gave him a new towel to lay on in the box. Less than a month later, I received a "Sorry for your loss" card from them. It was very heartfelt, signed by the vet and staff.

St.Pierre Veterinary Hospital/Clinic has been our vet for many years. They are the only vet we choose to use. The staff at the Clinic are very friendly and helpful. They remember your name and your pets name. They take the time to explain procedures and what needs to be done for your pet. They will not suggest unnecessary things . My husky is always happy when she goes there. If you have questions they always make time to answer your questions. We will continue to use them as long as they are open. Dr.Venessa Graydon is super friendly and personable.

The clinic has a new service where I sat in my car and spoke with the dr and watched the exam via Zoom conferencing. When it came time for our beloved fur baby to leave us, the folks at this clinic were amazing. Although it was a heart wrenching time for the family, we opted for an inhome euthanasia. We could not fathom a long one way drive to a clinic, and a table or some such contraption that was cold an sterile. Instead we made an appointment in our home. Our Dog enjoyed a wonderful final day with family enjoying all the special things she enjoyed the most in her life. When the Vet arrived, she was professional and more importantly set back and allowed us to spend our final minutes together without being obtrusive or awkward. We created a memory in those moments that will stay with us a life time. Thank you for being professional, non obtrusive, respectful and humble. I was surprised the cost of this was not that much different than an appointment at a clinic, and although I do not wish anyone to go through an event like this, when or if it comes time - do your research, and make the educated choice that is right for you. We've had to call St Pierre Vet twice for emergencies on weekends and both times they've taken us in with open arms. You can truly see how much they care about your pet as though it were their own. My cat had been seeing dr whipple for 4 years every 4 months or so. She was always very thorough and explained things to me. My cat had to be put down by another vet at the clinic. I did not get a card from the clinic (I have every other time I’ve had to put a pet down) and that vet also forgot to take my cats paw print for me (which is on the form you fill out before euthanizing an animal). I understand the element of human error but this was a Sunday and were the only people in the clinic. So disappointed in their lack of care once my cat had passed on. Worst part is the vet couldn’t even be bothered to personally call me and apologize.

I've had my kitten literally since she was only a few hours old, she's my fur baby and leaving her with anybody worries me. I wouldn't trust anybody but the staff here with my kitten, they made me feel comfortable leaving her overnight when I couldn't pick her up immediately after she had been spayed. They're gentle with her and always answer my questions fully. Their prices are very reasonable and you can definitely tell the people who work here have a deep love for animals and animal health.

Regular customer, brought in cats and kittens for check ups, treated three cats for ear mites. One tube of ear mite treatment was near empty due to a processing/packaging defect. Treatment did not work. Called back for an additional treatment and was not refunded, was asked to pay for the additional treatment. A customer should not have to compensate for a manufacturers mistake.

I really love this hospital. Firstly, they clearly love their patients. When I bring my two dogs there, they are not nervous. My collie - shepherd mix, named Rupert has a seizure disorder and becomes very anxious when separated from me. He recently had a dental scraping done, and became very anxious afterwards in his kennel. The staff sat with him for 40 minutes so that he would not seizure and would calm down until I got there. That is really going above and beyond and I appreciated it so much. The doctors and all the staff are kind and friendly and call to keep me posted on how things are going. Also, they don't charge ridiculous prices like some of the hospitals. Keep up the good work. I am so happy with this hospital.
