My dog needed medical attention after hours and the staff responded very quickly to help late on a Friday night. Really knowledgeable and friendly, lots of payment options and very good treatment of my dog while she was injured. It was my first time here but I would recommend to anyone living in the area to make this your go to Vet. Thanks Dr. Guse

I'm not sure if Dr. Yett is at this clinic still because I cannot speak to the clinic itself but I can speak about Dr. Yett and Dr. Porter. I had emailed Dr. Yett directly thanking her after she saw my lab mix as a locum in North Bay (she even replied which I found very kind of her). My dog suffered from ear infections for the longest time and numerous high vet bills at a different clinic, but Dr. Yett totally fixed my dog's problem and his ears have never been better since! She also provided a lot of home remedies as he's aging which I find has helped. Dr. Porter is a vet here in North Bay and is amazing with the animals! He truly cares about the pets first and bill second. Thank you to both these vets and I should suggest trusting them with your animals!

I agree with M it seems it all was about the money in the end, bad enough spca made me go see them, they charged me almost 100 dollars to tell me something I already knew and make me pay for painkillers that she did not require at all... and when I returned to put her down I was charged an outrageous price. Nice staff and everything but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in this area unless they are rich...

I brought my dog in due to an abnormal growth and this vet was able to slide me in the same day. The Dr. was extremely knowledgeable with a compassionate manner. Given that the growth could indicate something serious, the vet took the care to explain everything to me step by step. The following day the vet called personally to explain the results of the lab tests. I couldn't ask for anything more from a vet while away from home. I will definitely be using this vet going forward when I'm in Ontario. I almost forgot to mention the ladies that work there as well, very kind and pleasant. Thank you guys.

They were with us for the very worst day of our life but our vet or vet tech was the absolute most wonderful person ever. She made us feel accepted and safe and made our cat feel loved and wanted despite it being her last day on the planet. No one should ever have to put their cat down, but if you do, Englehart Animal Hospital staff know how to make a family feel cared about. Thank you for your consideration.

Would not recommend the vet never even touched my dog, only looked at her and told me they suspect that my dog has a tumour and first thing to do would would be blood test then they have to take X-ray all over her body to make sure she doesn’t have more for that they need to make her sleep.... Only then we could see if there is anything to do for her. The secretary wouldn’t get up if her chair to let the vet know that I wanted the antibiotics Well I left crying and with no answer ... today I went to Temiskaming vet clinic and yes it does looked like a tumour they gently explained my choice ... one she gets an operation and get part of her jaw cut off its very expensive and she would never look the same or two I enjoy the next few weeks with her and give her all the loving and attention before letting her go.... so sad when some people are just looking to take advantage in situations like this. Never I will go or recommend anybody to go to the vet in Englehart. Ps some of the staff where very nice and professional.

I love this vet. Unlike the new liskeard vet they dont gouge you for money and sincerely want to help you animal. Even with the covid and social distancing it was fantastic service! Would recommend them to anyone !
