A great experience for a horrible day with our dog. We had the worst night with our 11-year-old Boston Terrier. I had no appointment. I just showed up at 8am when their doors opened and they took me in right away. They were extremely helpful and respectful. Even though we had to put her down, it was as good of an experience as I could have asked. Thank you, Chelmsford Animal Hospital!

My dog needed emergency care, and Chelmsford animal hospital was on call today. I called around 10am, and by 1pm she was in and being prepped for surgery. The staff were amazing and so friendly, and I was called as soon as she woke up after her surgery. There was no waiting game or wondering. Thank you guys for saving my baby on such short notice, I’m unbelievably grateful.

I wouldn't recommend this business to ANYONE. I've heard too many bad stories about this place in regards to people getting ripped off and for its overall negative attitude toward their clients during times when they should be helping them with their animal. I've also noted, from my own previous experience with them, that they care more about the bottom line ($$) than the animals themselves. For anyone looking for medical CARE for their animal, I'd personally recommend Walden Animal Clinic. Their service, like many others out there, is polar opposite to that of the Chelmsford Animal Clinic.

We really appreciated the great service and care for our beloved cat Buster. He came home today after an emergency procedure and is very content and is recovering quite well. The only disappointment we have is he was urine soaked, the smell was unbearable. We understand the procedure required a catheter, however we would have expected him to be cleansed somewhat before being discharged.

Our dog ended up losing his balance while out at camp and was unstable on his hind legs. Chemmy Animal Hospital is not our regular vet but they were on call. Our poor boy ended up having a seizure on the way and a second one after being brought into the clinic. The staff there were so kind and sympathetic to our pet. The vet today was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I left feeling as though we had the right next step for our pup and where to go from there. For anyone wondering, likely diagnosis is canine epilepsy. He's on meds and hopefully they work!!

The BEST animal hospital ever our dog is terrified of vets but she stopped shaking, and didn't mind the vet. The vet took her time to get to know her, in a gentle manor. Best experience ever!!!! It started once we walked through their doors.

My 8month kitten woke up very very ill and so I called around and this was only place who had availability...I drove there from the city and they saw us right away. My poor baby cat had a virus and did not survive...however the staff were just amazing and sooooo sweet and supportive throughout this whole devastating event. I'd like to extend a very thoughtful Thank you to Dr Marin and the staff member on the evening of the 12th. We unfortunately had to have our sweet girl put down however the Doctor and woman working took amazing care of Morgan and us. It was an incredibly tough evening and would never wish to make a such a difficult decision to let a beloved pet go but I appreciate how much love and sympathy you all provided to my spouse and I.

I would like to take this time to thank Dr Jones for doing blood work on my dog and focusing on the wrong numbers that the test results showed. Dr Jones looked at the numbers that showed my dog could have had early onset Kidney disease. Once my dog was rehydrated and those numbers went back to normal she released my dog to my care and didn't take a look at the numbers that should have raised her concern about Addidson's disease. Instead she handed my wife and I a bill for a $1024.00 and sent our dog home. 2 weeks later and now my dog is being treated by a Vet who took the time to look at the whole picture and my dog has been diagnosed with a UTI and Addison's disease both which Dr Jones missed. Because of these misses my dog has had to suffer more then she should have . I would not recommend Chelmsford Animal Hospital to any pet owner because of the rushed service, miss diagnoses and the fact that they always hand you a big bill at the end of any treatment making you wonder if they care more about the money then your pet. I have received better care with our new vet in the 2 weeks she has been seeing them then I ever did in the 15 years I was brining my pets to Chelmsford.

We had missed a appointment and they decided to cut us off . They refuse to help us or even sell us anything , my dog needs special dog food because she has allergies . They won’t even sell us dog food . Darren stinson was the vet and he’s very rude . Very hard to talk to and not a people person. I wouldn’t suggest going to see him . Very unprofessional.

Thank you so much for helping our orange tabby cat, Toby. Dr. Stinson has an interest in veterinary opthalmology and has special eye equipment not available everywhere so he agreed to have a look at Toby's eyes for a second opinion. Dr. Stinson diagnosed Toby's corneal dystrophy and glaucoma. Toby's new glaucoma drops are working well and we are most grateful to Dr. Stinson and the CAH team!
