I had to have my dog put down. I was given the option to schedule an appointment to be there with him or to drop him off and pick him back up later. Afterwards I received a card in the mail from all of the staff with a pin for my angel puppy. One of the most outstanding and caring vets I have ever gone to! I have taken all of my pets there and will continue to do so! Update for July 2018 Shout out toDr. Fischer. Last week my dog, who had been seemingly healthy prior, contracted a virus or bacteria and was lethargic, unable to keep fluids down, and a whole list of other symptoms. I called on a Friday afternoon when they were completely booked with appointments but they were able to examine her between appointments and determine she needed to stay overnight. Dr. Fischer called me with updates every single time she went in to check on my dog just to let me know how she was and if she gave her anything. I just appreciated them being able to see her before the weekend came but they really went above and beyond!

Had to bring my cat to this joke of a vet and never have I seen a Dr. with worse bedside manners in my life. My cat ended up having to be put to sleep, and I do not blame that on the vet, but he lacks empathy and compassion. I couldn't pay her full bill up front and he said and I quote "We aren't a financial institution." These are not the words you tell someone when their pet is dying. He dismissed me and didn't let me go back with her when she was put down. If you can go else where. GO.

Chelsea Makes Stuff

Called their emergency number because my dog was in distress. They told me that if I didn't have $120 , that they wouldn't see him. He died hours later and since this place is the only place in town that cremates dogs, we had to get a $200 loan. Nothing makes you feel worse than losing your best friend and having to pay for his ashes from the same monsters who turned him away in his time of need.

Dr Tedrow does cremations, meaning that I didn't have to travel several hours to get it done. Dr. Tedrow is amazingly kind and thoughtful.

We had a dog bit by a rattle snake on a Sunday night. The vet returned my call @11:30 pm. We were in right away at 7 am on Monday. Our dog was saved by anti-venom and recovered fully! The staff was excellent and kept us up to date on our precious family member.

I am a new customer. When our last vet retired I didn't even have to think twice about going here because they had helped us in a couple of emergency situations. Dr. Tedrow is very thorough and shows great compassion. Unfortunately our last visit we were referred to U of M and didn't have the outcome we hoped for. We will continue to bring our other pets here though because of her love of animals.

I took my little dog there to say goodbye to him. He was old, blind and deaf. Dr. Lynn Tedrow and the entire staff showed such kindness, compassion and caring not just to me but to Spike too. I would highly recommend them to anyone with concerns about their pets.

Dr. Fisher is amazing!! My puppy had to have surgery in Sioux Falls. The day after we got her home she was in horrible pain. Even though they were closed, Dr. Fisher came in on Saturday to help us. She is so kind and wonderful with animals. We love her!! I will never go anywhere else. Absolutely amazing experience.
