This has been our primary vet for just shy of two years now. The staff is fairly friendly most of the time, sadly they have horrific time management. Our visits that are scheduled in the afternoon or early evening are never on time and our last visit we were forced to wait for an hour past our scheduled appointment. We watched multiple people come and go AFTER our arrival and while we were waiting past our appointment time, they were being helped before us with a seemingly urgent behaviour while were were ignored. So much so we had to call to ensure that we hadn’t been forgotten about, and we were hung up on before we could inquire as to how much longer we would be forced to wait. When we were finally acknowledged - there was no apology, or any sort of thank you for our patience in waiting for such a long time after the agreed upon time. Very disrespectful and unprofessional, regardless of how busy you may or may not be at any given time. A thank you for our patience and understanding would have gone a long way, especially after making us wait for and hour. The “checkup” lasted less that 4 minutes with little interaction or attention to any questions we had which were all dismissed because they had a “busy day“. Not impressed and currently looking for a new vet.

Absolutely lovely team, always a good experience in the few years we've been here. However, I switched vets and with x-rays, my cat was diagnosed with a bone spur in her hip which explained what this vet just referred to as just an 'arthritic flare up'. The dosage of pain medication she was given shocked the new team as it wasn't nearly enough for a senior cat. I also asked to get bloodwork done to confirm everything was normal but they didn't mention anything about bloodwork. The vet said "we can do x-rays to see how bad the arthritis is but that can be done later down the road" instead of doing the x-rays right then and there to come to a diagnosis. Overall I think this clinic is a good place to bring pups and kittens for vaccines and check ups, but if you need more thorough care and medication plans, you should look elsewhere.

I have no words to describe these incredible human beings. Long story short, we thought our dog was a best case scenario: leg amputation or worst case: put down. The doctor worked tirelessly examining all options and they were eventually able to save my dogs leg. I am humbled, emotionally drained and just too grateful to put into words. The aftercare and concern from every employee has been unparalleled. It was as if my dog was his own. I will be forever indebted to their kindness and humanity.

Dr. H is Very knowledgeable, extremely thorough with his examinations and willing to answer questions and explains options for Daisy who is a very sweet Cocker Spaniel and is now 15 years old. ???? It is such a relief to know that Daisy is in good hands at their office. The staff are also amazing ! Very knowledgeable, friendly and well organized. When family or friends ask where I take Daisy without hesitation I will always recommend this office because I am confident the owners will be happy with the experience and their amazing pets will receive excellent care by a knowledgeable and compassionate Dr. Harxhi and his staff.

We love this vet clinic! The doctor is so kind to our French bulldog puppy and they are very careful about giving shots only when the dog is 100% healthy ie. no loose stool in the previous 48 hours. We really appreciate that because some vets give the shots no matter what, just to make some money. This vet clinic also calls the day after shots to see how our puppy is feeling. Highly recommend.

Best clinic ever!!!!!!! Dr Ervin treated my Bernese for 5 years and there is nothing he wouldn’t have done to make sure she was healthy. He is so knowledgeable and caring. I am conflicted. I had great service from the experienced staff for my dog. They took great care of him and initially (summer) I saw a replacement vet who was also very good. But then in the fall for a set of booster shots and some maintenance nail clipping, I got a new staff member who clipped my dogs nail wrong and right after that (while he was crying and bleeding) the main vet got her to hold him for the shots which I was totally opposed to and for good reason. He was freaking out. I was shocked. I moved to another clinic.

Made a visit with an newly adopted dog at noon on Saturday during Covid. Only one of us allowed in with dog due to Covid. No other pets or owners were there at the time. I had scanned & emailed doggies records ahead of time and they had uploaded into their computer. The two assistants were great as was the lady at the front desk. Dr Harxhi was amazing - I never felt rushed and he made sure that I listed all my issues and concerns. He was very professional and reassuring - it's clear that he loves his job. He didn't push tests or try to sell me anything.

My dog required surgery recently to remove a lump that was located between her eyes. This caused me great concern because of its location and what it might be. Dr Ervin is a very caring man who did an excellent job removing it. The incision was large but it is healing very nicely and I do believe there will be no scar when it is fully healed. The staff at the clinic were friendly, professional and attentive to the needs of my dog and also to me as they knew I was nervous about the surgery and its outcome. I am so glad that I have such a good vet taking care of my dog. I highly recommended this clinic to anyone who needs a vet! First rate!

I don't know what the previous reviewer is talking about. This vet is great. I have had to go in a few times for my puppy already due to a UTI and routine immunization, and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to see the doc. Staff greet you immediately when you walk in the door. Dr. Ervin seems very knowledgeable, and he never makes me feel rushed. He answers questions by providing the facts and leaving the decision up to the owner, which I really appreciate. Fees charged were very reasonable. When my dog needed antibiotics, he charged for the drugs only, but not for his consultation time, since we had already been to the emergency vet. This in spite of the fact that he did indeed examine my puppy and spent time providing me with advice. Did I mention that they do follow-up calls? I highly recommend this clinic!

Dr. Ervin and his staff are the only people I trust with my pets. I love that he’s the only vet, so he always knows the past history of my animal. I have 3 sphynx cats, and he has knowledge and experience with the breed, where most vets I called before finding Stone Church did not. He’s an amazing vet, and the same goes for all of his staff. We took our cat there a few months ago for over-grooming and sores on his skin. The poor guy would lick himself raw due to the itching. The doctor gave him a quick check and just told us to buy the ($70+) anallergenic food they sell because it might be a food allergy. We bought a couple bags and he didn't get better. Later, through Googling, we found he had fleas. This vet can't even diagnose fleas. I don't want to believe it, but it seems like he's more interested in getting his money for the visit and the kickback from the food.

Have never had any issues and the doctor has always helped out my fur babies. A year ago I had to put down my rescue baby as he was in bad shape from heart worms and the staff were very compassionate, took their time with us, allowed several family members to come support me in the back while I said goodbye, will never forget that day or how helpful the staff and doctor were in my hard time. The doctor was also very honest with me about choices and options without pushing anything on me and giving me time to make my decision. My one pup also had his neutering here and during the surgery the doctor called me to ask if I wanted my pups growth removed as it would cost less due to him already being under for surgery and let me know how he was doing to. Great service would highly recommend taking your fur babies here!

Amazing staff. Doesn't ask for unnecessary testing, x-rays, meds like other places i have been in past. Took my cat in for having no meow (voice) at all. Was told it will clear up on its own. I wouldn't have flinched if I was told testing or meds were required. Just exam fee and a smile.

They are so sweet on the phone when I make an appointment and when I come in with my little dog. I have been her several times for the same problem that still has not been remotely fixed. My dog’s ear infection. You’d think for something so common, they would at least be able to some what help. Nope. They charge you for a check up, they don’t really even look in your dogs ear. Then prescribe you pointless medication that doesn’t work. My dog is now in the worst pain I’ve ever seen him for months now, and st this point it’s pointless even going here. They don’t even try to find out what the problem with his ears are, and then at the end of the appointment they tell you they don’t know what the problem is, go see a specialist. These people do not care about your animal. They just want to drain you of every last dollar, and let you leave with your dog’s Bloody, mite filled, inflamed ears as they smile in your face and tell you they don’t know what the problem is. Isn’t it your bloody job to find out? Nope. All the reviews say the vet is knowledgeable yet can not figure out a simple ear infection. Great vet, looking at the reviews, most people is happy that the vet fixed a simple uti or gave them vaccines with compassion, or put their dog down for them with compassion but has this vet actually helped any real health problems? Probably not.

Me and my family cannot express the gratitude we have for everyone at this clinic. We found them in a bit of an emergency situation with our dog , when he fell ill at Christmas. He was diagnosed with being in the final stages of kidney failure and was given only a short while to live. We were devastated at the news. Although we were brand new to the clinic, the extraordinary amount of compassion and care that was given to our sweet boy, Steeler, was second to none. And when it came time to say goodbye, he was cared for with dignity and respect. Thank you so very much to everyone there, you made a painful and sad time for our family a little easier with your kindness.

First time visiting this vet and it will be my last. Poor 1st time customer experience. Brought my puppy In for his first visit and due to his poop not being solid he didn't want to give him his shot..ok I understood. I would of expected a physical exam at the very least but not even that happened. I was surprised. It was a waste of my time . Visited mohawk animal hospital and they gave my puppy a head to toe exam and provided me with a better 1st time experience than stone church.

It surprised me at first because I would call with questions and speak with the receptionist, and then shortly after I would get a call from the vet himself, taking time to answer any questions I have thoroughly and patiently. I have never ever had a vet call me at home after a procedure on my pet. Dr. Harxhi did this not only when my dog had surgery but also when my cat required surgery. He called more than once and also had his staff call for several days to check on my pets' well being. I felt very cared for and really appreciated all the genuine concern for my animals.

I really cannot say enough about Dr. Harxhi and his team. If you are looking for a vet known for his honesty and compassion, this is the place to go. The prices are extremely reasonable for the high standard of care provided. My elderly Aussie had several lumpectomies last year and the follow-up care was top notch. One of her incisions on a high-motility area opened up shortly after removing her staples 10 days post-op. It was a Saturday and we were visiting family over an hour away when we noticed. Dr. Harxhi happily kept the clinic open for more than 2 hours after closing time in order to take care of my girl. He charged me nothing and said that he would gladly stay at the clinic all night to help sweet Rosie. That's probably when my heart melted. :'))) Due to this minor complication, she had to be on antibiotics for longer than expected and developed a yeast overgrowth in her gut manifesting in many skin issues (not overly surprising given her advanced age). We have since sorted it out with pro + prebiotics with digestive enzymes, and Dr. Harxhi was incredibly patient and understanding throughout the entire process. He knows that I am now hesitant to use antibiotics on my elderly dog unless it is a last resort and is very respectful when discussing treatment options. He does not talk down to his clients, but instead listens to their concerns and tailors the pet's care based on his extensive knowledge and said concerns. I would give 6 stars if I could!

At the risk of understating, Dr. Ervin is the best (small animal) vet I've dealt with in the past 35 years. Under his care, there's a cat happily prowling five years after other vets solemnly declared he'd be dead within a week. He has too many positive qualities to list here. The one word that comes to mind regarding Stone Church Animal clinic and Dr. Harxhi is "Trust". I know he and his staff have the best interests of my dogs, always. They are always available when I need them and Dr. Harxhi sometimes even answers the phone himself. He takes the time to educate me on my dogs issues in a non-rushed manner. I feel like I am participating in their heath care and I am rarely not allowed to be present during treatment. He doesn't recommend anything that is not necessary. Absolute abomination of a vet practice. My dog was sick with nicotine poisoning last I went, they tried to trap him unnecessarily overnight to make a buck. When I refused their treatment/demands, the fat receptionist ensured me she'd have to call animal control on me if I did. I ended up going to Beattie, only to return home to a notice from animal control demanding I contact them regarding the situation. Stone Church Animal Clinic then had the balls to contact me regarding my dog being ready for his shots after all this. Needless to say, there are countless better vets. DO NOT take your pets here.

Refusing to sell a person prescription pet food is their right but they are disgusting for doing so. Go to another vet who has empathy and compassion.

Why didn`t she say that they weren`t accepting new patients right off the bat? She only said they weren`t accepting new patients AFTER finding out that my dog was 12....not impressed.
