TL;DR Can't complain: Provides adequate care to its patients, just don't expect any above-and-beyond levels of service to make your own experience better. Expanded: Average service, expectations met. They don't volunteer a lot of information about your pet, so be sure to ask if you want to know anything specific. I imagine it's because of how busy they always are. That being said, they also don't try to sell you on anything you don't ask about, either, such as foods or pet insurance. Don't expect to receive reminders about services that need to be regularly done (e.g., if your baby needs to go in once a month for a routine procedure, you have to remember to book in. They won't call and remind you). But they do take care of your animal when it's there, which at the end of the day is what's most important.

We go to another clinic usually but wanted to switch. We went to this clinic to get our new Kitten checked out. The vet pretty much just looked at her and said she was ok. Did not check her heart or lungs but did check the ears. I left there thinking that it was a waste of time and money. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, all (except the kitten) have been taken to the other vet with a much more thorough exam. I will not be returning. Shame that this clinic came recommended by friends.

I brought my cat in after she was showing some signs of a neurological issue. Covid protocols were great, we were the only people at the clinic. It was very affordable ($80 for an exam and pain meds). The vet also supported me feeding my cat a raw diet.

Unprofessional service! They did not let me in due to pandemic. My dog could not obvioustly talk by himself. I had to explain the issue to the clinic clerk when dropping off my dog and she was accepting many more pets at the same time. Not sure how she could manage remembering all the details. And just imagine my dog was under pain and now had to stay away from me in a place where i am not around! After 20 mins doctor called while i was outside the building, waiting. I rexplained the issue. They could not spot the problem. My dog was limping and they gave me painkillers! No xray, nothing! As if painkiller was supposed to resolve the cause of pain. When i insisted on xray, the doctor said sorry it is late and you need to come back another day! Which means another charge, another wait... And my poor dog is suffering! Finally had to take him to another vet to find out it was an skin sensitivity under the paw! Queensdale doctor is litterally ineficient. Clerks were helpful though. 2 star only thanks to the clerks. Otherwise even 1 star is too much!

Switched to Queensdale after years of going to another vet in Hamilton and I couldn't have made a better choice. Absolutely loved how they cared for my dog before and after her surgery. They answered all of my silly, paranoid dog mom questions, and had very affordable pricing. I have never felt so at ease leaving my dog at the vets. You can immediately tell by the atmosphere that this is a group that truly loves and cares for animals and their wellbeing! Highly recommend.

So I just called to get some help for my dog and they told they're not accepting new "patients" and offered me no info or options whatsoever. Couldn't even tell me if or when this would change. Not sure when all these comments were left or by who but I think things have changed due to Covid19. I'm at a loss right now as to what to do for my pet who I love so very much. I know people are going through alot right now but this really breaking my heart.

I came for my 2 years old kitty's spay and from the first second realized that found a right place. Extremely professional and friendly stuff, they helped not only my cat but me to fight my fear. On June 2nd we had a surgery in the morning and in the evening she looked like nothing happed. in 10 days we took out the cone and we both are very happy now. After a rapid deterioration of our dogs health, we unfortunately had to euthanize our beloved dog Nala. On Thursday October 28th at 11:28am we had to loose apart of family due to liver failure he was a sick boy and there will be forever a hole in our lives! We know we did the right thing by bringing him to this vet! He is extremely compassionate and loving for the animals. When we said goodbye to our fur baby he was there comforting us and crying along side us. What vet have you ever seen in your life shed tears! Not very many in my experiences. So please allow yourself to open up these guys at this veteran hospital! The staff are just so comforting and kind and compassionate just like the vet. I was so comfortable there when going through this horrible time in my life! I trust all my animals going there not matter what type I get! Not to mention the prices are so fair and reasonable for every service they provide! I looked and called so many veteran hospitals when trying to find a reasonable place to send my little boy to heaven and there were anywhere from $650-$1,000 dollars I only paid $448 for cremation, services, and urn with his date of birth and death inscribed on the urn. I tell you from being in a horrible time in your life there are very few people you open up too and let these guy's at Queensdale Animal Hospital be one of them.

The owner and vet is not much of a talker, but he's efficient and professional. The prices are very affordable. I'm a fairly new client (1 year). My cat had dental surgery done here at half the cost I was quoted elsewhere. She was well taken care of, the surgery went fine, she was fine. The staff are pleasant. The clinic is on the bus route. I'm very happy that I stopped taking my cat to the last vet as he was brusque, uninformed, unreliable, and very pricey. I trust Queensdale Animal Hospital and feel good about taking my fur-child there.

First time there with our new puppy. Very friendly, very helpful. As of this writing you have to have an appointment and must phone from the parking lot before entering the building. They will call you back as soon as they have space for you and your pet. Great place!

This review unfortunately comes 2.5 years after my experience with Queensdale Animal Hospital, but 2.5 years later I still feel the anger of what I went through everytime I look at my cats ashes, enough that I've finally decided to write my review. In January 2019 my cat was releasing his #1's and #2's and puking everywhere and was hiding a lot, I also noticed he had an odd lump under his abdomen, something was clearly very wrong, so I brought him to this hospital. Right off the bat the vet was dismissive and with a shockingly fast physical exam declared with such confidence that he simply had high stomach acid levels and prescribed an antacid. That did not help at all and by mid February he was in much worse shape and would not come out of hiding, I took him to a different hospital nearby that within seconds of touching my cat knew it was cancer, confirmation tests happened and it turns it was late stage adenocarcinoma and he had weeks at most to live. This other vet stated that a simple proper exam back in January would have very easily found this, and that if treatment had been done immediately he would have had at least some sort of fighting chance, but it was now too late and the cancer had spread too far, we had to put him down. I would not be as mad about this as I am if it were not for the cocky and dismissive attitude of the doctor. He was put down less than a month away from his 10th birthday.

Dr Chaudhary truly cares about and loves animals and it's very apparent in his patient, thorough manner. I've brought my cat here since he was a kitten and I've never once felt rushed or unsure about his health. I brought my cat in a couple days ago and the clinic was absolutely jammed but Dr Chaudhary was so thorough, calm and willing to answer questions and the vet techs were also super lovely. This has been my experience everytime I've come in. This clinic is not out to scam anybody and when things are necessary, the prices are very reasonable. I have so much trust in the staff here and I couldn't be happier that I chose this clinic!

Very friendly staff, very accommodating and willing to address any questions/concerns. My cat needed surgery on her leg that required her to be crated until her leg was healed. They helped me find a financing company for the surgery and even let us borrow one of their crates until we were able to get one. We only kept their crate for a few days, but they seemed willing to let us use theirs as long as necessary.

Went to the vets to pick up my little girl Hope's medication. She's a Chorkie,weighs 15 lbs,is almost 16, and a service dog with an ongoing heart condition, so she needs to have a chewie with her supper. The vet is awesome, best & cheapest in the province and the staff are so caring that it's always a pleasure to go there. They have have always taken awesome care of my baby girl so l can never say enough great things about them. If you are looking for a vet to take care of your forever friend (family) then l highly recommend them. They are caring, courtesy and very understanding as well as always giving you the best deal. Dr. Chaudhary is amazing!!! And all his staff. I almost had to put my 6yr old Great Pyrenees down earlier this year. She was sick for a lot longer than I had thought and he went above and beyond to save her. He cancelled a couple afternoon appts to do emergency exploratory surgery on her as her blood work and urine test we inconclusive and she wasn't going well at all. He ended up doing surgery on her until late at night. She ended up having a serious problem and if he didn't do it she probably wound not have made it. He absolutely saved her because he honestly cares. He also saved my 10yr old male cat that had crystals, I feel if I would have taken my animals somewhere else the outcome may not have been the same for either of them. He goes above and beyond. I won't go to another vet as long as Queensdale is around. Prices are great, service is great, everything is great! Thank you sooo much for all your honesty help and care for all my fur babies!

My young female cat (7months) has gotten her checkup, vaccinations and spay from Queensdale Animal Hospital. They were very friendly, thorough and handled my cat very well. The surgery went great and she healed up within 10 days with no issues. The veterinarian is obviously a busy man but he takes the time to explain everything and answer questions in a practical manner.

My husband and I highly recommend this clinic. Dr. C. Was absolutely wonderful and very compassionate when we had to suddenly put our 15 year old cat down last year. We take our other older cat and our new rescue cat here as well and Dr. C and his staff are all wonderful. Very accommodating, friendly and reasonably priced. They are fantastic there! We have a 180lb Rottweiler whom everyone we took him too for regular grooming was afraid.of his sheer size because he is very not aggressive but very big and these girls whom all are smaller then my dog lol. Take him and do his nails and ears with no issue, and he completely submits! They are sensitive and thorough! And fairly priced!

My family including children , Mom and my sister have been going to Queensdale Vet for years. They have always been professional and been able to accommodate our emergencies. This past year our families have lost a few pets to illness and age. This is a hard time to have to make the decision to let our pets pass on peacefully. Been taking my furbaby here since he was a puppy and they are great. My husky is a bit intimidating in appearance but such a sweetheart and they have come to realize this which is nice. My only real complaint is the whole parking lot situation.... it's very narrow/small lot and causes you to either back into a busy street or very gingerly try and turn yourself around to back into the lot.

I would like to say that I am so grateful for all the staff at Queensdale Animal Hospital. I have been taking my dog Mia there for the last 5 yrs. They are always pleasant and so kind. They go above and beyond for my dog. They are also always fair when it comes to charging for visits, procedures, and medications. Today i had Mia in for the second surgery she has had with them.
