Had to take our senior cat in as she suddenly took a turn for the worst. They were very professional and sensitive to the clients need. After consulting with staff & vet it was decided Euthanasia. It broke my heart beyond words!!! They gave me as much time as I needed privately with my pet both Before & After. 5 ☆ plus!!

I couldn't recommend this animal hospital enough. I had gone there with an emergency that required several surgeries on our family Pug. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They explained everything clearly and are very proactive on keeping you informed and up to date should your little guy have to stay. The facility was clean and most importantly they were flexible with payments. Our Dog is back home and recovering fine despite the risks involved with his procedures. Again, I couldn't recommend this hospital enough. They saved my dogs life and made our family whole again.

We brought in our cat twice after he started displaying unexplained pain and inability to move. Both times the staff were wonderful and considerate. Some other reviews mentioned a high price point but I found it to only be a little above average which, in my opinion, is to be expected from an emergency practice. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

I came home from work to find my cat in major distress and pain and crying..i wont describe how i found him but i knew i had to take him to this emerge vet as it was 11pm at night. I called ahead and yes they told me how much the fee would be but i didn't care i told them he needs to be seen immediately. That is all i cared about. The vet was really nice and told me that nothing could be done and he was put to sleep just as i thought would happen. I lost my loved boy that night and the staff was good with him especially the vet however i forget her name. She was very good with my cat. In very bad situations i do recommend this place..they are there for a reason..that i found out about in not such a good way. thank you

Our emergency clinic in Burlington had a 4hr wait so we searched and found this place. Friendly staff picked up our dog & comforted him. Within minutes the doc called to ask questions. He did an exam and promptly called a 2nd time with treatment options & pricing. After tests he called a 3rd time to give us the results & an updated treatment plan. When we picked up our dog, they politely answered all our questions. It was not inexpensive, but everyone was friendly, professional & transparent; communication was clear. They treated our dog like it was their own. Highly recommended.

We took our beloved cat Truman in to the vet clinical after realizing he had ingested lily pollen. We were unaware of how dangerous and toxic lilies can be and luckily looked it up fairly quickly after ingestion - so this post is not only to commend the staff and doctors at this clinic but also to provide warning - never have lilies in your home or even in your garden if you own a cat (the smallest ingestion can lead to kidney failure and death in 3 days). Our cat was met at the door and promptly brought in. They informed us of the treatment plan upfront, provided estimates of cost (without over priced services considering its a 24-hour care emergency clinic), called us frequently to update us on his status over the course of 2 days, and very importantly were compassionate and kind without ever making us feel badly for this accident. They literally saved our cats life. I cannot speak more highly of this clinic.

Had emergency with pug. Vet was very pushy for euthanasia. Was very rough handling dog. No respect WHAT SO EVER towards animals. Talked down to us. Finally i snapped on him when he said my vet who treats patients with respect doesnt know what they are doing and their opinion was wrong. No professional vet says that about another vets opinion. All tjey wanted was money. While they tried to take blood and couldnt because they are incompetent vets they wouldnt do the blood work till it was paid. As they heard my mom getting the ok from her credit card company they still wouldnt start. Then receptionist admitted one vet will do work before being paid n its against their policy. Honestly they are incompetent, lazy, useless, heartless selfish money hungry jerks who shouldnt be in the business. Also wanted over $600 for cremation when i went to another clinic i paid half of that to the same cremation company. Watch out for this clinic. If u love ur pets stay away they will suck u dry like a parasite.

We brought our cat in for a urinary obstruction. Despite being very busy they got him in right away and called us with the diagnosis. They treated him and took the best care of him for almost a week. It was clear that all the staff absolutely love animals and take the best care possible of them. Our baby Kevin did not make it, but it was for no lack of trying. I had to bring my youngest cat in Sunday morning due to her vomiting for several hours. To Dan who answered my phone calls (and dealt with me crying a few times) and took my Asbestos in once we got there, to the vet who called me several times to keep me posted on what was wrong and going on, to reception who let me know when I can pick my sugar plum up, a million thank yous for your kindness. My Asbestos is still on the mend, eating more (and eating the food the vet recommended). She still isn't impressed with taking the antibiotics but I'm keeping up with that and making sure she takes it. Many, many thanks to all of you ????????

Brought my kitty here that I had for 16 yrs… she was hurting and on her last days, The vet, Dr. Codrington , was very empathetic as well as his staff when I made the decision to put her down. This was the emergency vet listed at my regular vet. Had to take my cat there to be put down one night. They acted quickly and compassionately for both me and my cat and made a tragic night a little easier to get through. They explained what was happening, let me stay with her as long as I needed than talked me through my options when it was over.

Rushed our sickly Bengal cat here multiple times for a week in November. They were great! Cannot say anything negative. I understand people upset about the fees, treatment, etc but its an emergency vet, you're going to pay a lot. I feel if they're treating you negatively, perhaps its BC of something you could or should be doing to better your animal. A pet that relies on you for the necessities of life, for love and wonderful treatment, etc.

We had our dog become very sick on a Sunday afternoon and our regular vet was closed. We called every emergency vet around Hamilton, Burlington, and Oakville, and every location was a 6-8hr wait, but this location was the only one with bedside manner, and really listened to us. We've never had an emergency situation with our dog before, or have him get so ill, so we were very concerned and worried beyond belief. Misty was working that day, and she was so incredibly nice, comforting, patient, and responsive. We couldn't wait outside in the car with him for the potential 6 hours (COVID) because of the symptoms our dog had, and needed to be able to go out to the bathroom at a moments notice. She kept us updated, and called us when to bring him in. This was around 12 midnight, and the staff was all so welcoming to our dog and us. We got constant phone calls with updates, and an action plan to getting him to feel better. He was provided only the necessary treatment and was transparent on all the costs. They answered every question we had without ever rushing us off the phone (I'm sure anyone else would of been annoyed lol). You never want to have to take your dog to an ER vet, but if you have to I would absolutely recommend this location.

Today I brought in my cat that had a very small scrape, and almost 3 hrs later ended up with a $650 bill. She had to be sedated because the vet and technicians are extemely afraid of animals. Please find a more suited proffession! Would not even look at her with sedating her. Please don't let yourself get taken advantage of, go to literally any other vet! Awful experience!

My little guy had to be put to sleep even though it was during covid the doctor came out to us and allowed us our goodbyes and put him to sleep in our arms. They were compassionate and loving and made all the arrangements with us for the aftercare of our sweet Kovou. Thank you for making this situation as loving and comfortable as possible. I took my cat here last night for the first time since it was the only place open. She was bleeding from a place she shouldn't have been. It was a fairly long wait, which is understandable because more severe emergencies had to go before us. They took her in around midnight and within an hour the vet called me with her results and a bunch of options. I'm also very impressed that the examination included everything! We got home around 1:30 a.m. and were able to sleep with some peace of mind. Thank you!

I had to take my cat in here after he swallowed a fast food wrapper and wasn't eating. Every staff member we dealt with was kind, compassionate, and informative. If they didn't know something, they would double check. With us being students and not having much money to spend, the staff did everything they could to reduce the cost of the treatment. After a 24 hour stay on IV, I was able to take my kitty home, feeling better. I was offered advice, and when I called back with additional questions, I was given quick and helpful answers. At the end of the day, it's an emergency clinic, the prices aren't cheap, but that's because they're available in an emergency. The staff did a great job and did everything they could to help.

As any pet owner knows, our pets cannot tell us what is wrong, what horrible thing they ate, or why they are suddenly short of breath at 3:00 in the morning. This clinic has helped our dogs twice. Once, one of our foster dogs was having trouble breathing shortly after she arrived. This clinic was able to diagnose the problem (collapsed trachea) and provide what she needed (oxygen and various medicines). With follow up treatment from our own vet, the foster has stabilized and she is thriving. Without the emergency clinic though, I do not believe this dog would have survived the night. In another visit, one of our dogs had a swollen-shut eye that turned out to be a mild infection. The clinic was able to help him in short order and he made a full recovery. The cost of these services was very reasonable and everyone at the clinic that we dealt with was professional, friendly, and helpful, which is really good when I am trying to get the help my dogs need during these emergencies. The follow up was good too as all records were forwarded to our regular vet. While I hope no one's pets need to use the services of this clinic, I am very grateful that these services are available.

We were referred here by another vet for my cat Henry. I was shamed by our referring vet and was pretty upset upon arrival. I was a wreck once I was there. They helped me in every possible way with payment options and even apologizing for the other vet. Every single person I spoke with was helpful, understanding and informative. I got an email photo updates and multiple phone call updates. I am so beyond impressed with your care that you provided my Henry but also myself. You all are doing amazing work and I have never been so satisfied with vet care before. You all truly go over and beyond any expectations. My dog was attacked and bitten by another dog so we needed an emergency visit to a vet and this was the only place available around but due to Covid we couldn’t accompany our dog during his procedure. They were a bit slow with updating us about his status and how he is doing and he had stay there for about 6 hours. We were told that we needed to pay a deposit to be able to continue with his process but as they were super slow no one ever called us. At the end, when we wanted to pick up our dog they asked for our credit card info by phone which I am not sure if is legal to do so! I told the receptionist that I’m not comfortable with sharing my sensitive data and at that point she accepted to step out of the clinic with an ATM machine for the payment Lol!!! She just gave us a bag with the medication without us being able to meet the actual vet or even talk to her. she said we are super busy and the vet does not have time. I insisted to talk with the vet directly to understand what’s wrong with my dog and what I should do the vet came and explained his situation to us. What I learned from this place is don’t give up!!

My dog declined rapidly during the day and by evening we knew he was very unwell. On arrival, sadly, the x-rays showed that he could not be saved (cancer) and had to be put to sleep. Despite the early days of COVID lockdown the vet, who stayed late to give me time to come to terms with the news and to prep him, allowed me to hold him in his final minutes. the team there were professional and exceptionally kind and compassionate.

Absolute terrible experience. I took my senior dog in as a precautionary measure; she had a very small vestibular disease episode - so small that she was herself and walking around by the time we got to the vet. The exact words from the vet were "well at least she lived 12 good years. You're lucky she lived past 8". My dog is very healthy, in shape, active on long hikes, still plays a lot with other dogs and toys, still eats well, is very personable etc. The vet and vet tech both made her yelp - my dog has NEVER yelped under any circumstance, including the many vet visits she has been to previously. The vet tech jumped when she yelped and immediately left the room. We had no idea if the doctor was coming back, if we could leave and pay, etc. Since there was no one at the front desk for over 15 minutes, we sat in the exam room unsure of what's happening or what to do. When giving information, the vet was not personable, sincere or anything. However, he did a great job at stating that my dog was old and was at the end of her life, even though she is a very healthy dog. I will never take any animal of mine here, and will strongly suggest to everyone to avoid this vet. UPDATE: February 10th, 2021. My dog is now 15 and thriving!!!!

I had to bring my kitten in today as I thought he swallowed a metal bit from a pencil end. I was super stressed out and the professionals at this clinic helped ease all of my worries. The vet tech even told me I could call as often as I needed to so that I could get updates. When they called me after he was there for about an hour, the vet told me a full run through of the examination and how my cat responded. He made sure that I fully understood each procedure and went to explaining the various options. He was very helpful and kind in sharing his recommendations. After moving forward with X-rays, they called and let us know there was no metal found!! The vets were so happy and really helped this situation. I highly recommend this clinic if you have a pet emergency and are near or in Hamilton. I'm so impressed with their ability to be calm and friendly while dealing with emergency situations.

UPDATE Visit in 2020: My lovely now-7-year-old cat started peeing blood so I took him in. Bob the vet and all of the staff were extremely helpful, supportive, and took their time to inform me on all of the details and options. They took good care, especially considering the current pandemic. I would highly recommend Bob and the staff I worked with this time. Only suggestion would be to have printed instructions on how to provide a urine sample using nosorb, as there was a mix up in communication. 1 STAR REVIEW Visit in 2015ish: I rarely write reviews, but I thought I'd share my experience bringing my cat in four years ago. Hopefully the vet/vet tec I saw no longer works there. Themes: extremely rude service, shaming, and wrong diagnosis. My experience: my cat was acting strange and had blood on his lip so we brought him in. The staff who was working with us asked his breed. I said "siamese mix." She gave me a disbelieving look and said he wasn't. I assured her that he was (he is a white and grey lynx point siamese). She begrudgingly wrote it down. After assessing him she said "Is there marijuana in your home? Could he have ingested some?" I said no, we don't have marijuana in our home. She again, rudely and with disbelief said "Mhm, are you sure about that?" We assured her we didn't. I mentioned that I had spilled some cocoa powder the day before and asked if it could have been that. She said "Maybe, but it's more likely marijuana." She then said his gums are bleeding and I need to brush his teeth. This is the most upsetting part. She shamed me for not brushing my two year old cat's teeth and told me to buy expensive dental cat food. She charged me almost $200 for the visit, and sent us away with nothing but shame and informing me my cat had dental problems. TWO YEARS LATER: My cat's gums kept bleeding, so I took him to a vet in Peterborough, where we lived (excellent service!). Turns out my now 4 year old cat needs all of his teeth removed. The staff there actually cared to look into it, and a blood test showed he was FIV positive (feline HIV). The staff there informed me all of the teeth brushing and expensive dental cat food in the world wouldn't have saved his teeth and that this was in no way my fault, but a common symptom of FIV. My cat is now a healthy, happy 6 year old with no teeth who enjoys wet food for every meal. The staff person we saw at this location never stopped to think that a 2 year old cat with such dental decay could have an underlying issue. Instead they were more interested in shaming us and implying we were drug users and bad cat parents, then charging us for the visit.

Nothing but good things to say about our first experience here. The receptionist, vet techs, and vet were all amazing. Super friendly and informative. I especially liked how they spoke to and interacted with our dog, as if she was their own :) We brought our 2.5 year old doberman here on a Sunday as she had a big lump in her lower belly. Turned out to be just a gland infection and it cleared up with the medication they prescribed within the next 24 hours.

As other comments have mentioned, the staff here are as professional as they come, with their professionalism only dwarfed in magnitude by the size of their hearts. Brought my 1-year old cat in some days ago due to him unexpectedly becoming lethargic for several days, hiding from me, not eating, throwing up constantly and eventually crying in pain. They were quickly able to diagnose that the cat had a urinary blockage and that his bladder was likely to have ruptured in the coming day; this case was severe, likely since I had connected the symptoms too late. I could not afford to fully pay the estimate that the care would cost right away. Without going into more detail, I will say that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I got my cat back healthy - regardless of my circumstances - and did so with the utmost respect, empathy and patience. I want to thank Dr. Gallienne for all her help and to the staff at the HREVC that were so kind in assisting my cat Lola last night. The Veterinarian was upfront with all the costs and explained in detail all of the care step by step that Lola would receive, and gave me a break down of the costs associated with the treatment ahead of time. The techs and reception were very responsive to my inquiries and gave me updates whenever I called. I would 100% recommend this vet clinic, it is clean, professional responsive, honest and my Lola received amazing quality care! I was given a couple of options regarding Lola's aftercare and was not pressured at all to choose one over the other, it really is a great clinic, do keep in mind it is an emergency clinic so be prepared to pay a little bit more than you would at your regular vet but , there really is no price on your pets health and life. My dog cut her paw on glass while running and it became evident she would require sutures. We took her to this place and they charged us $500 for a cone, meloxicam, antibiotics, and a dressing. They in fact recommended AGAINST sutures at that time and I thought that sounded ridiculous considering the size/depth/placement of the cut, but hey I’m not a vet, just a nurse. She bled through the dressing about 2 hours later (the dressing that was supposed to last 3 days btw, also ridiculous). We took her back and they tried to charge us $600 for sutures even though we already paid $500 and it was their fault for not doing them in the first place.

I just had to bring my cat Felix here this past Sunday evening. I am from Brantford but the emergency clinic in Brantford was too full and not available. So I did a quick Google search and read some reviews and decided on this clinic. I have to say I made the absolute best decision to bring him here. He had to stay 48 hours but I was updated every step of the way. Poor guy had a blockage in his bladder. The price was reasonable for an emergency vet clinic and they keep me updated on price and cost and actually gave me money back as the estimate was over what actually needed to be done. They even made me feel better telling me he was so lovable and they were spending time with him. I knew they were because he is a very lovable guy :) I just feel like everyone involved from start to finish in this process with this clinic was amazing. Highly recommend for anyone in the area if your animal needs emergency care to trust that they will get awesome service here!

I took my dog into this clinic after being attacked by another dog. My experience was very disappointing as I have been at this clinic before and received exceptional service for my son's dog. This time was not at all close to the last time. The doctor was terrified of my dog. My dog is old and very very friendly. He was not thoroughly examined where the bites were. I was was given meds and sent on my way. I feel that if you are a vet, you should not be afraid as this would make the animal very uncomfortable is he would feel that. My boy did not show any signs of aggression for anything for anyone to be afraid of him. This particular vet should only work on cats or small dogs since he cannot handle larger breeds.

Unfortunately, one of my cats needed to be euthanized (due to cancer), and they were very compassionate and allowed me to be with her when she passed away. I will forever be grateful of the opportunity to be with her during her last moments, and grateful to the staff for their kindness and compassion. This is not a place anyone wants to go to, but I'm grateful that they were there for me when I needed it. My experience with the onsite vet was absolutely terrible. I would never recommend going to this clinic. The doctor showed little regard for the well being of my 7 month old kitten. We rushed our Cat to HREV around 4am as she was having some kind of seizure. The vets responded immediately and did their best for our little Lex, but couldn't save her. They said they did all they could but it was too late.She passed away. The staff where very professional and compassionate as they stood outside in the freezing cold with us(due to covid) to allow us one more goodbye. They were extremely patient and considerate with me and the situation. They were able to take our dog in and quickly provide the treatment while keeping me informed the entire time. It was evident that they put their passion for animals first and provide the best services to help our pets. Not only are they extremely professional and kind they also provided reasonably priced services. They are so friendly and loving towards the animals they care for. They always greet me with a handshake and look directly in my eyes. They make sure they're thorough with their check ups and I feel confident with their diagnoses. They send me an email for my receipts and treatments for my dog and they forward this to my regular vets office.

Almost 8 weeks ago my cat Sheldon was very sick - throwing up, not eating, dehydrated. He spent two nights here, and the doctors called me every few hours to keep me posted on his condition because they knew how nervous I was, PLUS I think they just do that anyway, because they genuinely care about their patients. I felt like they listened to me, didn't ever try to push anything on me (expensive treatments he didn't need, etc) and were 100% focused on getting Sheldon better. As I type this Sheldon is racing down the hallway playing with a crinkle ball - he is happy, healthy, his appetite's back, he's his old crazy self. Seeing him chasing the crinkle ball & screaming as he did so lol made me remember I wanted to write this review. Will never ever hesitate to bring my cats here in the future. Thanks so much to the staff for taking care of our cat when he was sick. We really appreciated the honest advice and care they showed when we were in a scary situation. The higher price is to be expected in an urgent care scenario in my opinion. After all, the vet and technicians have to be there after regular hours. My only issue was that a lack of permanent front desk staff meant that another family who came in with an urgent medical emergency waited 5 or more for someone to come to the front desk, and by that point their pet had already passed. I’m not sure if those five minutes would have made a difference but it was pretty upsetting to watch.

Absolutely disgusting. My mother and I were given this location as the only one available. We had to drive down the mountain where my cat passed away in my arms. The vet insisted still on checking his pulse for 10 seconds, maximum, before announcing he was indeed dead and charging us for his hard work. It's hard enough to have your pet pass. It's just a kick in the teeth to be forced to pay a vet to announce the obvious.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Brought my puppy here, she charged us almost 700.00 for a sore leg. She took x-rays and gave pain medication but kept saying "I don't know". She had no answers for anything, including charges on our invoices that weren't not used. For example; a radiologist charge for a consultation that never happened and she admitted to. She insisted our dog needed orthopedic surgery for a small fracture and she refused to splint her leg, just kept giving her hydromorphone to keep her comfortable. She made multiple calls to other clinics to as for advice on a fracture...... fractures are a common issue..... DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW MONEY DOWN THE TOILET, LEAVE WITH NO HELP FOR YOUR PETS, NO TREATMENT JUST MASKED PAIN!!!

5 stars all around. My dog suddenly got very sick and declined completely over a 4 day period. The staff/vets worked for 2 days straight running tests to figure out what was wrong, instead of giving up on her. Unfortunately she had to be put down. I would recommend if at all possible take your pet to another animal hospital. My wife took my dog in after he suffered multiple seizure. The estimated no more than $813 for initial accessment including tax. 30 seconds later when giving them the credit card information it changed to $947+tax. My wife negotiated back down. What they did was an IV to calm him, a blood panel, and a prescription for anti seizure medication. The blood work showed nothing usual, but purely based on what I told them over the phone they decided it was a brain tumor. Then next recommended step was a neurologist referral. Critically what they did not do is an x-ray. If they had for his advanced state a brain tumour would normally be visible. (We learned this from our vet later.) By five days later his state progressed to the point where we had to put home down. They carried him in to prep while we had to wait outside. The medication had changed his seizures to be more like panic attacks. The asked if it was ok if they could sedate him. I was expected a minor sedation so they could get him to stay on the table. But when they allowed me to enter the room it looked like he was already dead. His eyes rolled up so he couldn't see. No blinking or other motion. Just the slightest chest movement to so I could determine he was not dead. Possibly this meant he was severely sedated and having a seizure. Possibly it meant they overdosed him. So either he was in tent which too much muscle relaxant to show it, or already in a vegetative state. Either way, it was not the peaceful sendoff I hoped for him. Combined the bill for that visit was $650 without paw prints. The typical vet charges under $300 with paw prints. But it really is not about money. If they had done the bloody x-ray I would not have played the guessing game of if he would get better. I could have tried things like medical marijuana without fear of causing harm and maybe made his last few days easier on him. So it was a lot of money for treatment little better than no treatment at all. Edit: My wife tells me at first they insisted the blood tests showed kidney failure. So she asked for a copy of the blood tests. They looked at the test and pointed out two values within the normal window but on the low side, and then agreed that was just something to monitor and not indicative of the problem. I am still flabbergasted they did not at least suggest x-rays. That is standard procedure for initial triage of this type of issue. I am also sadly disappointed they didn't give us anything that listed the side-effects of the medicine. Typically a dog will survive about 69 days with a brain tumour. I can attribute half the symptoms that caused him to degrade so quickly to the medicine. Fortunately I knew that and could still make an informed decision. Most people could not.

Bless this animal hospital for it's hospitality, knowledge, and genuine care for animals. We brought our dog this weekend to be seen after failing one fix after the next with Beattie's Concession. The staff here on the Saturday day shift were friendly, kind, patient with our millions of questions. They provided us with useful knowledge, paperwork and explanations of everything they were doing along the way and at the end when we came to get our pup back. They also provided us phone service after we left when we had questions. I think the only struggle was when we came back later today (Sunday) for other stuff, the information had not been passed onto the new day's staff so when we were asking questions, they didn't really know what we were talking about. Otherwise, exceptional service.

If your pet is ever in need of emergency services, this is the place to call. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would - The team they have at this facility is truly incredible! From the moment I called and spoke to Lauryn, to arriving there and having so many team members come help us bring in our inmobile 165lb great dane, to the fantastic doctor who explained everything so well and helped us understand the diagnosis, prognosis, and options so we could make the decision on what was best for our girl. Everyone was truly incredible. Unfortunately it for us it meant our girl crossing the rainbow bridge but each team member at facility was so informative, helpful and caring they made the process very smooth and you could truly tell they care. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did including mailing a sympathy card afterwards. I would highly recommend this vet for any pet emergency!

Our own (now former) veterinary clinic, Spencer Creek, Dundas turned us away because they were “busy” and closing in an hour “and had no time” to see our Dog Stanley who was in acute medical distress on our front lawn shaking and crying. The moment I called this clinic I was comforted by the lovely staff and that they would be ready to help. The vet we had (cannot remember his name other than Dr. Z) was so kind, gentle and comforting. We euthanized Stanley and it was a beautiful experience allowing us to grieve our beloved pet. I work in health care and this clinic knows how to provide the best end of life care to pets and support to owners. If I ever get another pet I will certainly seek the services of these kind and caring people. Thank you again for making one of our most difficult days bearable.

Recently had my cat taken here. He had a urinary problem. We took him around 2am and when we arrived the doors were still locked even though we called ahead. We waited to see a vet even though there was obviously no other patients. We were give a quote for max $1300 which went up to max $2200 after further testing and seeing what needed to be done. As we were leaving him there for up to three days, the price went up again to a max of $2900. The lack of communication here is quite concerning. I Recieved one call to tell me what food we would be needing and a call for discharge. I had to call for an update the second day and to see if he was ready for discharge. Even though the above was displeasing, the main thing I didn't like was how I had to ask for my cats file. Upon reading the file it appears that he sat in his own pee and that he had to be moved cages because they realized his was too small later on. Apart from spending a down payment on a car, I feel sort of betrayed as we weren't told anything and I had to read his file to find anything out. Please be careful and think through things before you take your cat or any animal here. Ps you must pay a deposit for the maximum price before they do work on your animal so come prepared with funds if need be.

I had to bring my dog here due to some digestive issues that were causing some immediate concern. They were absolutely wonderful. Very caring staff... Very comforting and informative through the entire process. The vet called and spoke to us multiple times to give us status updates while we waited on the x-ray results. She was very open about costs and options and offered professional and ethical opinions on what factors to consider with our dog's personal situation. I was thrilled to bring my girl home with the best possible outcome (no blockage ..no surgery needed) however very comforted knowing that should surgery have been something we needed to proceed with... that our furry one was in great hands! i felt like I have to write this review as one way of thanking the staff at this clinic. Our Jordan would still continue his fight against cancer and we still don't know how what tomorrow would bring for our boy but my husband and I felt very grateful for the service that we have received from this clinic. We have to make a late at night trip (Nov 24) as we noticed that Jordan was having a hard time getting up from the couch to go to the washroom, his breathing was labored and he did not have a lot to eat during dinner, so we got overly concerned. To cut the story short, the vet techs (sorry I did not catch your names guys) that assisted Jordan to get to the stretcher were explaining to us what they were doing the whole time. Marilyn (the very sweet receptionist) was so nice to accommodate us to used the washroom and was so caring when she has to answer my call after. Above all, Dr. Jackie and Dr. Berk (sorry if I did not got your name right) was so nice to explained to us everything. Dr. Jackie took her time to explained (Jordan's diagnosis, prognosis and possible treatment plan) , answer our questions and empathized with our situation (she even has to share her own story - in a way it makes us feel less guilty). Also, Dr. Berk took a lot of time faxing and calling and arranging referrals for us so that we can be seen with an Oncologist sooner. And Cathy, she has to patiently picked up the phone and provided answers for me when I am being so persistent. Thank you guys. This is still an early fight for us but we are determined to not let our Jordan go without a good fight. However, thank you for being there for us when we felt so vulnerable.

Had to bring my boy for an emergency at 5am the other day, and they were great! Dr Forbes took him right away and took great care of him. Since I couldn't go in the building with him, Dr Forbes called me and spoke to me on the phone for a half hour explaining her thoughts and solutions on the issue. She is very knowledgeable, thorough and patient. She never tried to get the most money possible from me, and started with the least expensive option (medication). Glad to say, Kevin is doing great! Thank you Hanna and Dr Forbes for the love!

These people were fantastic. I went there because my dog tore his dew claw while playing with my other dog. This was on Christmas eve and during Covid so it was busy. I could not go in with my dog so he was super stressed out, so they fixed him up right away so not to cause him anymore undue stress. I really appreciated that and I highly recommend you take your animals here if you have an emergency.

Took my cat in for an injury he sustained to his back leg. He was seen by Dr. Zaytoun, a very personable doctor with great bedside manner. Dr. Zaytoun was quite thorough in his examination, and even expressed my cat's bladder after discovering that it was full and wasn't being released naturally because of the stress my cat endured from his injury. We received some medicine and after care tips, and were sent on our way feeling much better. The entire staff was very helpful and had my boy's best interest at heart, so we didn't mind waiting for the time we did. Thank you Dr. Zaytoun and the Hamilton Regional Emergency Vet staff!

Came here with our newly adopted kittens during covid. We hoped to get vaccinations and deworming. The kittens had mild upper respiratory infections. We weren't told anything about the rates or fees only that the vet would call us once he was in the room with the cats. He gave them some cream for their eyes and an oral antibiotic for us to administer. When the kittens were ready to return they called us and asked for payment method, without telling us the amount we were paying. It ended up being approximately $280. The vet told us we could call 24 hours for advice and assistance with the kittens. Looks like a good location with good friendly staff but very poor communication of cost.

I had to take my dog here at 2:30 in the morning due to an allergic reaction to Nexgard. The staff were very sweet and he was in and out of there in less than an hour! After the shots, Harley has been doing alot better :) The vet had called me about the diagnosis and quoted me more than what they charged. It was a nice surprise and pricing is definitely fair. I would recommend this place to bring your pet for emergency!

I had to put my pup to sleep here recently and I bugged these people with calls for days trying to figure out the details. I must have interacted with 5 different staff and each one was kind an empathetic beyond belief to the hard decision I had to make. The vet who actually handled the procedure was kind and let me take all the time I needed with my dog Clare in her last moments. I truly appreciate the kindness they showed me. The procedure was also the most affordable of any vet I could find in the area. As a side note, if the staff cares to ever see it, attached is the picture of this ridiculous oil painting I had commissioned of my dogs way before this sad day ever came (Clare on the right). It originally started as a absurd joke, but now I'm glad to have this insane piece of art which will make me laugh and probably haunt my daughter for years to come.

The vet was very detailed in explaining what was wrong with her eye, treatment, as well as providing a great deal of insight on what else we can expect in the coming weeks with our little fur baby. We greatly appreciate the staff for taking such swift and thorough care of our girl. In the event of another emergency (hopefully there isn't one) I wouldn't hesitate to call HREVC. I never write reviews, but I felt the need to write this one. Over the long weekend I had to bring my cat, whose normal vet was closed, in for emergency care. She was very sick. The doctors and staff did a terrific job of keeping me informed as to her status, advising me of the proposed treatment and its costs, and giving me adequate time to make a decision. They answered all my questions without making it seem like I was nagging them. After she spent a night in the facility, I ultimately decided to put her down as it was clear she would not be able to recover to live a decent quality of life. As this is my first pet I had no clue what the euthanasia process would entail, but the staff were incredibly helpful. In this COVID-19 time they let my family and I spend as much time with her as we wanted to say our final goodbyes and allowed one of us in the room as she was being put down. Is the service more expensive than perhaps your regular vet? Yes. But it’s absolutely worth it when you consider it’s a 24 hour facility with around the clock care and they have overhead expenses that they have to pay for too. On a statutory long weekend to boot. Anyways, thank you to the wonderful team for treating my pet with care and compassion in her final days. I highly recommend this clinic.

We visited this clinic on 08/30/15. Our two cats had potentially ingested a poisonous substance and after searching online we knew that time was of the essence for our pets to be treated. When we entered the clinic it took approximately 15 minutes to see the vet although there were no other animals at the clinic. Once we met him we found his manner to be very rude and intolerant. We were very upset and he constantly told us not to interrupt or say anything. I had the feeling that he really didn't know how to treat our cats. He insisted that we call the pet poison control center for which we had to pay $49 + tax. He immediately called them on the phone and spent over half an hour receiving instructions for the care of our animals. This proved that he really didn't know what he was doing. He seemed very panicky and repeatedly told us that this would definitely cause irreversible kidney failure. When he had finally decided on a plan of care (over an hour after we got there) we told him that we wouldn't leave until treatment on our cats had started. He told us that he wouldn't be treating our cats immediately because there was another emergency on the phone that he needed to attend to. We explained to him that if they had ingested a poisonous substance he had to start treatment immediately. After he had wasted so much time on the phone and writing up a bill for us for over $2800 dollars he said he didn't have the time to treat the cats right now. At that point we were so frantic that we decided to leave the clinic and went to Beattie Pet Hospital in Burlington. On the way out we had to pay a bill for $225 +tax plus the $50 fee for poison control. When we took them to Beattie, the vet who saw them immediately disagreed with his examination results. Also both of their weights were off by over 1kg each - a substantial amount for two 8 month kittens. We will NEVER go to this clinic again or recommend it to anybody. Our family has a very negative impression of Dr. Gilbert Buenviaje. His behaviour was very unproffesional. Our cats received exceptional treatment at Beattie Pet Hospital in Burlington. If you have an emergency keep driving!!!

Unfortunately my 7 month pup swallowed a 200mg Advil liquid gel. I called and told me to bring her in even though it's been 30 minutes. $411 later I was told for her weight she would if been ok. That they induced vomiting, though they knew her stomach would of already absorb it. Gave her charcoal to absorb what Advil they can and $185.00 of that bill was keeping her locked up in a kettle for two ours and said you can take her home now. No, there must be a better place in the city during after hours. The staff wasn't friendly, Dr. Gilbert was lying and they only care about money.

If I could give them higher stars I would. I can’t express my gratitude and my sincerest thank yous enough to all the ladies that helped my boy and saved his life. They are so kind hearted and amazing! I almost lost my cat Theo days before Christmas, but thanks to them I received the best Christmas Miracle my boy is home and well! Honestly things weren’t looking good on the financial side of things and they did everything in their power to make it so I was able to get Theo the surgery he needed and bring him home. The lengths they went is just remarkable. I truly didn’t believe I deserved something so generous from them, though Theo did. I can’t even put into words how unbelievably happy I am to have my cat next to me right now, and it’s all thanks to them. I wouldn’t have been able to get him through this without all the lengths they went to save his life. Thank you guys for listening to my sobs and being so understanding about my financial situation. Like i said on the phone I love you guys truly. My 3 year old daughter is also so happy to have her best friend back home and well! We wouldn’t have been the same without him. I 100% recommend them a million times to ANYONE. They are not only good at what they do, but they are such amazing human beings. I’ve never experienced such compassion and kindness in my entire life, well now I have. A million times thank you, I cannot say thank you enough truly, and this review doesn’t do justice for what they did for us and words can’t explain how thankful I am.

My husband and I picked up a magnet with this emergency vet clinic's number on it years ago when we got our first cat. Tonight was the first time we actually had to call that number and it was scary! But we were so happy with our experience. The people at the clinic were understanding of our stress, kind and caring. We didn't have a cat carrier at our apartment and they were happy to receive our cat wrapped in a blanket. Our visit cost about $200 for an emergency trip at around 10pm at night and I was definitely thinking it would be more than that! Over all we had a great experience and we will definitely be keeping that magnet on our fridge!

Last night was the 3rd time we've used this place over the last few years and we have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Gilbert and his staff. The last 2 times we were there were sad occassions. The first time our dog needed to be put down and then a year later our cat. Both times Dr. Gilbert was there and showed nothing but respect and compassion for them. Their last moments couldn't have been any better. Last night our dingbat dog had a ran in with our chain link fence and need a bunch of stiches in his face. We didn't hesitate to take him there. We were so happy to see Dr. Gilbert because we knew that we were in good hands. Is it a little pricey? Sure but it's an emergency vet clinic. They explain everything up front. There are no surprises. We will continue to use this after hours clinic because of how great they are! Thanks gain Dr. Gilbert and Jasmine for everything :)

We took our cat here when all the emergency vet clinics in our area had 9+ hour wait times. Within 30 mins of arriving, our cat had already been assessed by a vet tech and deemed stable. The vet saw him a few hours later (there were several critical care patients that required her immediate attention). He needed some x rays and blood work, and the vet worked with us to figure out what the best course of action was. She was incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this clinic!

The vet treats you like an idiot.waste of time and money. We went to the clinic because my dog was panting and had difficulty to breathe. It happened few times before but this time was so much worse. When we arrived, the vet was arguing with other patients about keeping the patients waiting without proceeding any treatment. I wanted to go to another vet right away but we ended up staying as we were too worried. The vet then helped us to do some simple check up and everything was normal (my dog stopped panting few minutes before we arrived at the emergency clinic). He didn't have any answers on why our dog has this issue. He then talked about how thin my dog is and blablabla. gave my dog some can food, my dog ate it immediately. He started saying how hungry my dog is and some bullshit. Seriously, it's can food.. All/ most of the dogs love it, isn't it? He then asked us if we wanna do blood test and the price. We told him we just did it with our regular vet clinic not long time ago. then he just continued to talk about how skinny my dog is... After that, he said we should just check with our regular vet not him, this is emergency... I didn't come all the way to him to discuss how much dogs love can food... Anyway, we ended up paying $100up bill without knowing what really is wrong with our dog.. Speechless I'm glad my dog is okay now.

The clinic was empty with no other patients, time was critical to my dog, he died after the neglect from the clinic that very same evening. January 2nd, 2017. ONE vet...!?. This is not good service. I waited 50 minutes. Charged $111.00 just for walking through the door. If it's not an emergency... don't come here...(even if it's an emergency, don't come here) your pet could die while waiting. If your home vet suggests to call this location, go elsewhere. I just returned home and found that there are lots of other emergency vet clinics. Staff was very pleasant and really wanted to help. But due to inexperience and relying on book knowledge and training knowledge customers are left to resort to more costly tests for diagnoses. I felt the vet really had no idea what was causing my pet's illness? I understand young vets need to learn too, but when a pet owner has a crises with their pet they want experience. Not someone who is still learning. I walked out with a bill of nearly $700 only to have to take my pet back to my home vet tomorrow. Don't go here, call around.

They got the job done and ultimately saved my cat’s life, however, they gave me a very high quote and left me in the room to consider whether I could afford to save my pet. Only after me making middle of the night calls to family members and the bank trying to scramble together money that I didn’t have did they finally tell me that there were many ways to shave down the costs to half of the original quote and that we could do a payment plan.

We were looking after our daughter's 4 month old cockapoo (Reggie) and he accidentally swallowed a Tylenol PM. We were able to get an appointment right away and had to do 3 visits and on each visit the staff was amazing - from the receptionist to the technicians to the doctor - everyone took the time and care to help us through this stressful time. Dr. McLoughlin was outstanding, even working on her day off to get us blood work results from home. Made a huge mistake using this vet . Had no choice but to go here when my cat got extremely sick and my regular vet couldn't see him till the next day . My cat has had renal failure for 4 years and with a special diet had been stable . After taking a blood test it was his kidneys failing. At this point he suggested to keep my cat there for 24 hours to hydrate him for approx another $1,000 . Anyone who knows anything about cats know that chronic renal failure can not be reversed .Then since my cats anal glands were swollen he was supposed to do an anal gland expression but once home my cat was scooting worse then ever soiling all my carpets .If he had done the expression my cat would not be in so much discomfort . Very unprofessional and lack of communication between staff and dr. By the way I never write reviews but after I saw the treatment of my cat I had to give an honest review.

Good service, they accepted my cat right away when I thought there was trouble. I wish the wait time was more disclosed though- I ended up standing outside in the snow for hours waiting for nurses to come out and update me, since I dont have a car. So keep in mind there's no where to sit around, and closest tims is 15ish min of walk. They definitely helped me as much as they could and I'm grateful they helped my feline during a very hard time. My cat most likely wouldn't have made it through the night if their services weren't open/there.

We recently had an incident with our dog, she had accidentally come down hard on a branch while on a hike, a fairly large stick ended up impaling her paw from the bottom and out through the top. We were greeted and triaged right away when we arrived, with the staff being very kind and professional with me and our dog. She was seen and treated immediately by the doctor, we received a couple calls during her treatment with updates and I was also offered a couple different options for her treatment based on what we were comfortable with financially. Of course it ended up being a little more money then I expected to spend that day, but overall the quality of care and customer service we received was well worth it.

The Hamilton Region Emergency Vet Clinic should be ashamed of their conduct; in my opinion, they run their practice like salesman and not people who care about animals. I came in there distraught because my cat wasn’t eating, she was throwing up and had a fever. It was the holiday Monday and nobody else was open, I was at their mercy. Upon arrival they ask you to fill out an application that asks how you found out about the place. I wrote down “other” and the receptionist asked for more information so I told her that I had heard about them from another vet’s answering machine. Once in the examination room, within the first five minutes, the vet was grilling us about which vet locations we had heard their number from on the answering machine and even went on to tell us about how he likes to know how to attract more people. I felt this whole sales lead conversation was in poor taste and it was inappropriate timing. I suggested my cat could be sick due to a blockage or an infection, but the doctor insisted that it was probably cancer or pancreatitis. They gave us invoice after invoice, baiting us with more and more tests, the doctor saying to us “what is there to decide? The only wrong thing to do is nothing at all”. I am almost 6 months pregnant and I was crying every time he came to my husband and I with more invoices, not really explaining the tests or his reasoning. We finally left with no answers, after spending over $700, leaving with only a prescription to give my cat 2 x 5mg pills/day of prednisolone. She did not get better, not even a tiny bit. We took her to another vet and they immediately thought that it was a virus, possibly caused by a blockage and prescribed her some anti-nausea and an antibiotic, their number one goal being to make her feel better and get her eating and drinking again. They looked over the tests that were conducted by Hamilton Region Emergency Vet Clinic and were baffled as to why they would run such tests. Some of the tests, they told us, would definitely come back positive due to her current condition of throwing up, so they were completely pointless. Other tests, he said, were for illnesses that she didn’t have the main symptoms for. The vet seemed uninterested in the any results for tests that were conducted by Hamilton Region Emergency Vet Clinic and helped my cat for under $100. She is completely better now. In my opinion, the Hamilton Region Emergency Vet Clinic took us for a ride and they saw us coming from a mile away. I was an emotional, pregnant woman with her cat on a statutory holiday when we had no other choice and nobody else to turn to. I'd like to point out that the examining Dr noted in the records that I was rude to him. Firstly, this information is not pertinent to the care given to my pet and should not be included in the records. Secondly, I beg to differ as the conversation took a turn for the worse simply because I wanted to ask a question. I couldn't even finish my question when he became very rude, defensive and stated "Can you let me do my job? I will tell you my treatment plan and you can decide if you want to proceed!" I turned to my friend and said one option only because that was what I gathered from his statement. He then began to raise his voice at me and frightening my dog. I asked him politely to keep his voice down to which he replied he has a flu and SHOWED ME HIS DIRTY TISSUES FROM HIS POCKETS!!!! Absolutely the worst experience I have had with someone who thinks himself a professional. I'm quite glad he did not perform the surgery on my dog. I was absolutely upset about the cost. Veterinary services on the weekend are outrageous but all clinics continue to charge exorbitant prices because they know we have no other choice. Taking advantage of people when their pets are in desperate need of medical care. Show me a customer that is ok with being charged double or triple the price. I was very pleased to receive a refund because the procedure took less time than expected. I was not at all pleased with being charged over $110 for an assessment that took less than 4 minutes in which the Dr spent more time arguing with me and trying to make me feel as though I had no right to ask questions. The other staff members involved in my pet's care were all very kind and professional. As I do not live in the area I will not have to deal with this Dr again. I feel I have no choice but to leave a poor review on your website with explanation that he was the only disappointing aspect of my experience at your clinic.

Showed up with a kitten experiencing cardiac issues. No dr was in so waisted precious time going there to seek help. I get with covid everyone is over worked and everything is under staffed. Don't advertise 24/7 if you are not in fact those hours. Time is of the essence when dealing with cardiac issues and because of the false advertising I wasted that precious time driving there rather then to an emergency clinic who had a dr. Very impressed with the care and service provided by this clinic. I had to bring my cat Ozzy in twice for emergency visits while his regular clinic was closed. Worst experience , my cat became ill where she was throwing up. I just got paying my bills and only had enough for essential stuff for the week. I did not know my cat was going to be sick. I tried everything in coming up with money and I got denied by that scratchpay so was in a bind. Ask them to please help my cat keep her and I'll when I get paid. Said that's not how it works. Got to a point where I could not take it so I was able to go over my limit on my credit card and get the initial funds to do first exam. My cat was alive when I got in the cab must of died in my arms on the way because the vet he is stiff must of just happen . I was heartbroken. But to tell you they where happy to do a payment plan for the cremation. Just stunned. So that was not fun at all I did what I could .

Thank you so much for doing the surgery for my cat so well!!! He ate a piece of fabric and I really appreciate how doctors and staff treated the situation. They tried some options to push it out naturally but at the end, instead of charging me even more and getting nowhere, they advised to do a surgery. They updated me on each step of the process, called me when I asked them to let me know when the surgery is done even though it was through the night. They had no problem answering all my questions. Also, really appreciate that the receptionist sent me a picture of my cat. He stayed at the hospital for 3 nights and I was very worried about him, so she offered that which made me feel so much better. Happy that he is safe now!

This was truly a terrible experience from start to finish. After calling the clinic to find out how to best help my puppy I was given a phone number for poison control and told to take the pup to the nearest clinic if the toxicologist advises she needs medical care. Great. I followed the instructions to a tee. Called the poison control line, got a case number then headed for the clinic. The part I was very quickly told I did wrong was that I did not call the emergency clinic back afterwards to see if they could take us. I guess was supposed to read between the lines there, even after being told by the toxicologist 'take her to the nearest clinic now'. In any event, the lady was very upset with me for not understanding, advised us they were at capacity and that it would be a very long wait. I was in tears at that point and had this woman shown even an ounce of compassion or understanding (or even acknowledging the shivering dog in my arms) I think things MAY have been ok. She did not. I then said something I should not have (hindsight being 20/20). I simply said something to the effect of so you can't take her and she dies, what then. Obviously I was distraught and it would be VERY rare for me to say something so strong under any other circumstance. To that she rolled her eyes and mumbled something about checking with the vet. She did. It come back out. I can only assume she went inside and had a coworker take over. She started with a super chipper 'hey guys' which I assume was meant to de-escalate tension. It did...for a moment. We could've done just fine speaking with her...UNTIL she brought up the Healthy Workplace Abusive Behaviour policy. She said they would not tolerate me yelling at their staff...which I most definitely wasn't! At that point I had endured WAY more than I could deal with. As she was proposing some sort of plan involving coming to che knob us in 5 minutes, I broke down again and turned away. At that point she said 'ok you need to go somewhere else' WOW! Total gong show! We went to Burlington (who the Hamilton clinic had already advised us was totally full l) and they took us in with open arms. Their immediate concern was for the welfare of the puppy and not protocol breaches! I would like to think that perhaps I just caught the wrong employees on the wrong night, but I won't be going back there EVER to find out. Zero stars. Minus 1 if I could. I see that there are many others who had bad reviews I'd this location also. Steer clear! There are lots of other places who haven't forgotten the humanity and emotion involved in these situations. Extremely unprofessional!

My cat came down with a sudden illness so I took her to this clinic. The receptionist was very kind and attentive. The doctor handled my cat with kindness and care. After her initial diagnosis, she advised me on my cat's current state and my options. I did not feel pressured into taking the more expensive options and the doctor was very honest about the options plus the state of my cat. I had to put my cat down, but the staff and doctor were very comforting. They are pricier than a normal vet but they are an emergency clinic. Be aware of that going in. They gave my cat and I what we needed, and for that I am grateful to them.

I would advise anyone to seek alternative treatment for their pet. I took my dog in with some very serious issues and after simply doing X-rays the Doctor was recommending euthanasia. He tried to "save me money" by putting my dog down because "at his age and his condition, there was no possibility of him surviving treatment for his condition" this was after us being there less than 20 minutes and having only done X-rays and a brief exam. I insisted on them doing the blood work and the Doctor's explanation of those results lead him back to euthanasia being the only solution. I was told his liver, kidneys and pancreas were failing or already had, that he has multiple tumours that gave little chance of even short term survival. Thankfully my gut told me this was wrong and instead had them make him comfortable for the night and called my parent's Vet in Toronto to get an appointment the ASAP. I drove to my parent's fully making peace with my dog not returning home with me, I was a wreck and likely should not have been driving. The family Vet reviewed the X-rays and blood work that had been performed the night before and were outraged at any consideration of euthanasia in this case. My dogs blood work had a number of values that when taken individually were of grave concern, however when taken as a whole there was logical explanations for each. Yes he does have a single tumour, however the other were his intestine. How does a responsible Vet make that mistake? Long story short a few minor meds later his blood work is largely back within normals and not just the second but a third and fourth opinion later plus a Surgical Specialist say he is an excellent candidate for the tumour to be removed and recovery. Thankfully my gut told me this Vet was a quack and I saved my dogs life, I just worry how many other beloved pets have or will be euthanasia by his misdiagnosis. So please do your pet a favour and seek treatment elsewhere! Not to mention, the charges were more than double those of a traditional Vet in what would be considered an expensive area of Toronto.

We visited Hamilton Regional Emergency Veterinary Clinic Monday May 31st in the evening with our fur baby Mya "Mama" when our vet recommended she be transferred to emergency care. Unfortunately that evening we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize Mya. The staff (we worked with Misty and Dr. Wattson) were friendly, supportive, caring, and clearly communicated with us her status, next steps, and provided recommendations for care. When it came time for us to say goodbye, thankfully I was allowed to hold my sweet girl. Dr. Wattson was so incredibly kind and patient as I said my goodbyes and Misty walked us through the paper work and options for cremation and really took her time with us and didn't make us feel rushed. A week later we received Mya's ashes along with a card signed by all the staff, a ink print of her paw, and a clipping of her fur. We are so incredibly thankful for the love and support from the staff at Hamilton Regional Emergency Veterinary Clinic. They were complete strangers to us and Mya, but they made us feel like family. We are struggling with the loss of our girl, but we are eternally thankful that during this difficult time we knew Mya was in good hands and her end of life was peaceful and painless. Thank you. I so regret bringing him to Binbrook Animal Hospital for the procedure...which was painful for my cat having a syringe forced in his paw.....The HREVC(Hamilton Regional Emergency Veterinary Clinic)was the place who did treat my cat with love and respect....much, much more then the two previous vets I had taken him too (Binbrook and Beattie pet Hospital). HREVC staff were professional yet truly caring and knew what to do. This is the best animal clinic I visited in Hamilton. The two times that I was there with my cat I watched the clinic respond to a number of emergencies...while I waited in the car. I was really impressed with their knowledge and compassion. They staff really care about the animals.
