It was Lexis first visit, for her shots. Lexi was very leery about getting her nails clipped , So the very nice vet sent me home with some meds to sedate her and I could do it myself, in the comfort of Lexis home..All in all a good diet visit..????

We've been taking our dogs here for over 6 years. Staff are all very friendly and obviously love animals. They are really good at working with the animals to make them feel comfortable. They are also very accommodating when there are emergencies ;fitting our dog in when they needed to be seen that day.

The staff is so great, even my pets that don't like the vets can feel a little comfortable here. They remember my pets and ask after them when we take other pets in. They have good prices and appointments are easy to get. They also have convenient after work hours that include Saturdays. Best vet I have ever been to.

Worst experience ever trying to get medication for my dog, we called everyday for a week and got no answer, after going to the other clinic owned by the same vet to get medication we called the next day and they claimed that the medication was ready for 3 days. No one told us, and they were rude about us going to the other clinic.

My parents have been taking our family pets to this clinic since I was a small child and now that I have my own family we continue to bring our pets to Woodlawn veterinary hospital. Each and every vet that works here is thorough and very friendly. A few years ago we went through the unfortunate loss of a young pet and Dr. Mel made one of the worst days of our lives much more bearable. After this experience I will never go to another clinic unless required as we saw first hand just how much they truly care about your furry friends. Amazing clinic and amazing staff, highly recommended.

There are not enough words to thank the team at Woodlawn Veterinarian Clinic and for the care they have provided and continue to provide to our Pepper. The front office team is always on point and wonderful to speak with and ready to offer any advice to issues that come up. We love Dr. Mel - she is someone we trust fully with our little pepper. He has had a few different issues over the past 13 years, more specifically an ear surgery late last year. She performed an amazing surgery and his ear has healed incredibly well. As he ages, he is becoming a bit more testy and Dr. Mel and the team are always patient with him. During this year, it has been especially difficult with having to hand your pet over to be cared for by the vet without you with them. But with that being said, we have been very fortunate with the love and care that Dr. Mel and the Woodlawn Team give to Pepper when we are not there. Thank you Dr. Mel and the entire Woodlawn Team - we truly appreciate you all! As much as Pepper does not enjoy his visits to the clinic - he always leaves feeling better and with a bounce in his step (for an old guy). Thank you again.

We have always been happy with the care our dog has received but they really went above and beyond to care for her when she was injured. She was very anxious and they were so kind and patient with herband quickly came up with a plan to make sure she got the care she needed. Thank you so much!

My dog has multiple medications that he needs to take daily. However every time I called in advance (sometimes even multiple days) for a refill and I came in to pick up the medication, they forgot to fill my dog's medication or even forgot to ask the vet for the permission for a refill. This happened multiple times, thus making me wait another half hour to an hour despite the advanced notice.

a few years ago my parents where about about to put our dog down, had a history of seizures and and wasn't doing well. The Vets there took the time to do research before hand and asked us if we would be willing to do a 2 week trial with what they found out to see if she got better. slowly but surely we seen a turn around. A bunch of years later and shes still going strong for and old girl at the age of 14....couldn't be more grateful for what they did for our family, really above and beyond! thank you so much!

Take our new puppy here for shots and check ups. The clinic is spacious and comforting for humans and their pets. We were also here years ago when our cat was critically ill. The staff was kind and considerate, especially to our 4 young children. The exam room easily fits the 6 if us and our pets.

I've been bringing cats to this location since the late 80's. The current staff of professionals is why I keep coming. I've always been treated kindly, fairly and by some excellent veterinarians. Service are NOT over recommended and the individual care is knowledgeable and quite excellent. Great job folks!

Amazing place! I first brought my dog here 10 years ago for an initial checkup (first took her to Royal city vet hospital where they literally charged me an arm and a leg for the same appointment) and never looked back. The staff is kind, knowledgable and truly care about all their furry patients. My dog got stung by a bee and had an allergic reaction, she had a cyst the size of a quarter that had raptured and she was in a lot of pain. We drove down here (this was on a Saturday afternoon), although they were closed, the vet happened to be in checking on some other animals, he took us in, cleaner up her wound and gave her medicine. He informed us because this was not their regular business day they could not issue a bill until the following business day; we returned only to find out we were charged for just the medicine. This kind of generosity and kindness is the reason I refer all of my friends to Woodlawn Veterinary Hospital and recommend to everyone, this truly is the most caring place.

I've been taking my two dogs to Woodlawn Veterinary Hospital for several years now and cannot say enough about them. Most vets ask you to bring your pets in for every little thing and then, in my opinion, overcharge you. Woodlawn has suggested alternative solutions for my dog's medical problems that did not require a visit to them and when I've had to bring my dogs into them, I never feel as though I'm being overcharged. My dogs, like most dogs, do not enjoy going to the vet and use to experience horrible anxiety when I brought them to one. Woodlawn suggested that I bring my dogs in once in awhile for a visit, so that they would learn that going to a vet isn't always a bad experience and hopefully ease their anxiety. I brought my dogs in a few times and the staff gave them treats and were so affectionate and loving towards them that on the next vet visit their anxiety decreased. I found the vets there very knowledgeable and they were able to fix a few health problems that my dogs had quickly and for a reasonable cost. I have had two other vets before Woodlawn and have gone to two different vet hospitals and none of them compared to Woodlawn. I highly recommend them to anyone.
